The baby who played Toby in Labyrinth (1986) must have had a weird childhood of vaguely remembering being kidnapped by an androgynous man and dancing with his goblins. Never entirely sure if it was real or a dream until he saw the movie later on.

What if Disney adapted The Giant with the Three Golden Hairs?

There's no need! Jim Henson's The Storyteller already did an adaptation of this tale type and it is absolutely lovely.

Yes, it was made in the late 80's, but simplicity and whimsical practical effects are exactly what you need for fairy tale vibes! And it has this lovely misunderstood beastie bird!

Everyone in need of some fairy tale charm, please go watch it, the whole thing is on YouTube! (for now)

This is SO COOL! I haven't seen the Dark Crystal series (nor the original film in full), but the puppetry and animatronics in both always stun me.

The absolutely miserable expression on the video thumbnail is making me lose it, though. Poor guy.
