Kamen Rider Build Review
So first i want to say Build has been a fun show. I felt like it would’ve been a cop out of W but it definitely has a light of its own. I think maybe the first 20 episodes will keep someone wanting more and more of build. It grabs your attention. By with the 30’s and the plot twists it gets silly for the worst. I think compared to Ex-Aid, Kamen Rider Build did have a better finale than Ex-Aid but it is somewhat on par with Ex-Aid. Better than I wouldn’t say it’s better than Ex-Aid but definitely better than Ghost, Drive and Wizard.
Pros: The characters is what makes Build special. You want to root for them to win. The plot twists was never ending and want you asking for more in the show. For all my Game fans who are reading this. Kamen Rider build gives me Kingdom Hearts vibes with Sento.
Cons: I just didn’t like how silly they made Gentoku. You can have a decent character. A villain you want to hate. His father does and he just becomes slapstick. I didn’t really like that. I wanted a redemption story with a man who lusted for Power almost gave up his humanity to become the devil and to have a change of heart. I wanted more from Gentoku like a second coming Takatora from Gaim but that didn’t happen
Regardless Build is a good show. Not the best Neo Hesei Show that’s a stretch but it’s good drama.

Choudenshi Bioman
With that. I have watched 25 Super Sentai Shows and will be officially done. The last 80’s show I’ll watch is Flashman and subbed Turboranger and I am officially retiring from old Sentai. I was having high hopes going into this series thinking it could be a deep and dark series but I think overall it’s a show that gets lost in itself. I do think this overhyped for the simple fact the main villain is a narracist who instead of making a monster of the week he has Giants of the week that were easily defeated each episode. I’m very disappointed with the minute the first yellow 4 died it just seemed like no one cared. It really shows in the show. But maybe that’s due to production. Idk.
Pros: The suits. I think these suits brings that futuristic tone to what current Sentai needs. I honestly can’t remember the last time a Ranger suit especially a helmet was that detailed and futuristic looking. Red One suit stands out for me the most and his attacks. Red One fire sword is probably one of the coolest special attacks in 80’s Sentai. Green Two I stopped taking seriously he was just a weak second in command for me. Blue Three suit is definitely on par with Red One and both Yellow Fours were interesting in their own right. I adore Pink Five she’s a 80’s beauty.
Cons: Peebo is the worst Sentai Robot I’ve watch. He’s annoying. Like beyond annoying. The Villians also takes a hit. There was just too many of them for me to care and wish majority of them died back in episode 31. Bio Hunter Silva did save some of this show but at times he was lost within the show due to the other villians. And I’m sorry but episode 30 is probably one of the worst episodes of the show. Dr Man is going through his change. His second in commands are plotting to kill him attempts in doing it. A Mecha human starts speaking out the clear blue and tries to run to Bioman in order to seek some sort of refuge for doctor man. As if that’s already bad enough. Did the team not forget Dr Man is the reason why the original yellow 4 died or is it just me?

Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman Review
Another Sentai down the drain and another Sentai added to the list. Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman... It’s a interesting show not the strongest show of the 80’s early 90’s Sentai because it’s not as popular as the other shows but it was interesting to say the least
Pros: The Action. At times I forgot i was watching a Sentai show because the fighting was like from a Action movie. The fighting is what makes this show worth to watch. The drama, the drama at some point had me curious and wondering and i enjoy a good drama. 80’s feel. This is from 1990 but just out of 1989 it feels 80’s like and I like the classic tropes that a good Sentai Show has and this show had some fun tropes. And the plot twists really good plot twists especially with the reveal of Vulgyre. The whole time I’m thinking Meadow was the main demonic boss but turns out she was already dead and actually someone captured. Chevalier also get points in this show. He introduced Gingaman before they became a Sentai, sung and killed Five Red in a alternative way.
Cons: The Villains. Zone in some ways was a disappointment for me. In the beginning the villains seem to be ferocious of some sort but tbh throughout the show and many failures. They became slapstick. Garoa because obsessed with being a captain he swoop low to becoming a janitor to Zone. Billion turned into a drunk but a classic Sentai late 80’s early 90’s drunk he was lol. Doldora and Zaza I felt like they just slapped around. But neither of the two didn’t pose like a threat. They were more like followers to Garoa and Chevalier. The puppets in the middle from 23-3 something ruined it for me. The show overall felt like the type of show that would do good from ep 1-23 then 24-39 it would just drag.
Would i recommend Fiveman... if you enjoy a good ass Red Senshi that’s mature. Action and 80’s on the verge of 90’s type feel. I do suggest this show.

Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Review
Another show down the drain. This time it’s Ex-Aid
The pros of this show is the characters. Each of these characters make the show what it is and the powers that each Rider possess. I get somewhat Blade and Gaim vibes from this show but I couldn’t be anymore happier. This is definitely a show I would watch even how silly it comes across and it’s a step up from Ghost. Honestly Ex-Aid over shadows ghost.
Cons: The fact this show only lasted 45 episodes. It deserved that 51 or 52 episode mark. Wizard was 51 or 52 episodes and Ex-Aid is way better than Wizard. Another thing I didn’t like is Taiga he didn’t receive a Final Power Up But we can all hope in a V-Cinema he receives one.

Doubutsu Sentai Jyuohger Review
Another Sentai bites the dust and I lost count of how many sentai shows I've seen so far.. 21 I think lol All life on this planet is connected in some way is the metaphor and message of this show. It's a real steady sentai for me which is not bad. I like Yamato's character he's very rebellious and has leader traits which I admire in a red. No bad words but it's been a while since there was a mellow red who wasn't silly or happy go luckly. It's a breathe of fresh air tbh. The others are ok. And it's nice to see Kaixa's actor in a sentai. I think more Kamen Rider actors should be in Super Sentai. Pros: The action is really good. What keeps me watching and Misao is definitely what the team needed. It's fun watching a evil ranger for the first 3 episodes TheWorld debuted but it would've been nicer if they dragged the story with him evil abit longer. Cons: The balance between light heart and dark sentai. In some aspects Jyuohger tries to be dark especially with the Jyuman lynching of Wolf, Crocodile and Rhino but it tries to lighten up the tone. Other than that I think it's a basic season for me and I'm tired of seeing just red with the Power up for the show. And the mechs are just silly for me. The cube robo concept doesn't really do it for me. And the villains felt real weak for me. Genis second form should've been revealed in the finale to setup that big boss feel not in 40-41 Final Grade: 79 C+

Kamen Rider Ghost Review
Pros: the suits and power ups.
Cons: the story and the plain interest of the show. I felt like the show dragged at times and the show got lost within the plot. The first 15 episodes felt like there was a purpose but afterwards it goes down hill. If I can relate this to a previous kamen rider it gives me Agito and Kiva vibes.

Kyuranger
So someone made a list of their favorite Sentai Series and made Kyuranger #1. I mean for his it’s own. Goseiger is one of the worst Sentai shows I’ve watched and I couldn’t get into Gekiranger, Zyuranger, Maskman, Carranger, Ohranger, Gingaman, Abaranger. So right off the bat those shows would be on my do not watch list. Where as Shinkenger is one of the greatest shows I’ve watched. One thing about opinions everyone is entitled to one. This review is my entitlement to how I feel about Kyuranger overall. I think Kyuranger is my 25th or 26th Sentai I’ve watched. But for me to say it’s one of the greatest is a big stretch. My biggest problem with newer Sentai it’s too Red focused. Yeah I everyone got some quality time for character growth but i just feel overall it centers around lucky and that’s my biggest problem with the show
Pros: How well this show made 12 rangers worked. It really gell well. I enjoyed how each ranger had a signature weapon and it wasn’t all the same. Another big thing i was a fan was the core 5 combination. If no lucky I prefer the team of Stinger, Naga, Hammy, Spada and either Champ or Garu. I wish they would’ve done SH Figuarts for this show definitely needed a Stinger and Spada figuart. Sho Rompo is my favorite character also.
Cons: The timeloop episode from 31 or 32. Definitely was the most confusing episode out there. They went back in time to defeat Don Armage only to mess up the timeline. It just really was something that didn’t need to happen. The vice shogun is my other flaw about the show. Just too weak in my opinion and for a good 9 episodes just defeat them and the monster of the weak. They became lackluster and i think with a show like this we need that Basco type villain to appear. Speaking of Basco type villains. I was very very disappointed they didn’t keep Stinger’s Brother Scorpio around til the 40’s. A villain like that had so much potential. Killed Champ. He could’ve gotten away with so much more. I was just very disappointed with this show for that. Lastly the lucky’s and the number of times it was used. Lucky grew and had more character development than anyone else. But my biggest flaw was lucky and how he’s so important because he’s the son of a king. It’s just not what i expect. Plus i wish the red senshi of this season was more mature. Perhaps things would’ve been different. Especially my feelings towards the show. Yamato is was one before Yamato how long has it been?
Final Grade: 80 B
I almost gave it a 79 but I’ll be nice it’s average to me. Not the best show I’ve seen but very unique.
