even though he has free time, henry uses that freebie to get a head start on his work

it’s you who insists that henry takes a little breather, and you just drag him out of his office

he’s hesitant at first, but he’ll just agree on grabbing a beer for the night and that’s it

since henry is tense and kind of dull, you do what you can to keep his morale up, and he’ll appreciate the gesture and actually warm up to you - and you end up seeing a different, softer side of him that not you or anyone has ever seen before

whatever you two do, jamie is always gonna wear her dirty gardening clothes and she won’t give a damn about it

she’ll finish up the last of tending her plants then do whatever you want to do over the weekend

jamie will sort of judge and tease you about your ideal weekend, but she’s always down to hang out with you no matter what it is

probably lounging on one of the chairs outside the manor, she’ll smoke if she feels like it and just talk about whatever and gossip

owen is definitely making snacks, preferably your go-to snacks

he’s very chill on the weekends because it’s well needed, and this time he’s kind of taking a break from the children

you and him will just be very laid back and he’ll enjoy it before it’s time to get back to the kitchen and prepare meals for the manor again

lots of playful teasing and you’ll always urge him to open up about his life outside his job

simple: watch her fave tv shows or films on the bed or couch with you

lots of junk food !! she’ll talk about the kids until you tell her to focus on her free time until it’s time to go back as the au pair again

dani is very laid back and fun in her own way

she’d probably go get drinks with you at a local bar as well

i see rebecca taking strolls around the gardens

she’ll read a lot of her books and talk to you about her life and ask you about your day and your life as well

lots of laughing, perhaps, and rebecca will always be a fun person to hang out with even if she feels like she isn’t doing much

but you always assure her you’re excited for the weekends just to be with her

Quiet When I’m coming Home

Summary: The lady of the lake takes you away from your lover, Dani Clayton.

You were beside Dani and Flora trying to escape the house.

“Stop it!” Flora yelled and Dani sat her down

“Listen Flora we have to leave” you said putting your arms on her shoulders

“Not without Miles!”

“Flora we aren’t leaving Miles but we have no chance of living if we don’t go now!” Dani said

You turned around and gasped in shock a hand grabbed your throat and you collapsed on the ground

“Y/n!” Dani screamed

You clutched the hands around your throat struggling and choking out helpless sounds.

“Y/n” Dani sobbed running after you.

“S-stop” you gasped knowing that if Dani interfered she would suffer the same fate you were about to.

She stopped and sobbed, Flora ran into the house with Hannah and you were dragged up the stairs.

Your vision was getting fuzzy and keeping your eyes open was hard, You kicked your legs as hard as you could, You struck a hand out against a table hoping your grip on it might be strong enough to stop her.

The table fell on its side smashing to pieces. You could hear Dani downstairs screaming for help. You sputtered and your words were incoherent. Your hands fell limp at your sides and just stared up at the ceiling, After moments she finally dragged you back down the stairs and your eyes wondering around the room struggling to stay awake.

Each time you blinked it was harder to open your eyes, Your breathing was weak and your kicking ceased to exist. Finally your body harshly hit the bottom of the steps and you were pulled outside. You knew where you were going.

The lake.

Your fingers brushed the grass and you weakly clinched your fist but only managed to grab a clump of dirt.

Someone’s sobs and screams echoed in the background

“No! Please! Take me instead!” Dani screamed

“Dani...” Jaime said grabbing your girlfriend, Dani collapsed to the ground sobbing.

Your eyes trailed over to her before they closed one last time and then you were gone.

You were at your regular pub in the city of London. Sipping away the sorrows of your stressful day at the office. You took a few more sips of your beer as your eyes landed on a beautiful blonde with bright blue eyes. 

She looked up from the newspaper she was reading and her eyes landed on yours. The blonde smiled slightly before going back to read her newspaper. Only to look up a few seconds later to find you still staring.

She raised her eyebrow up and you gave your award-winning smile. You thought she was going to reject you, but she patted the empty bar stool next to you. 

“Have your parents ever taught you it isn’t polite to stare?” she asks in an American accent.

So she’s not from here, intriguing, “They did, but they also said to appreciate beauty. So I don’t know which rule to follow.” 

She smiles at you softly unsure of what to say as she takes a sip of her own beer.

“So you seem to not be from around here.” you say after taking a sip yourself.

She hums in response, smiling, “What gave it away?”

“As cheesy as it sounds I would remembered someone like you.” you say with a small smirk.

“Oh I’m sure you would.” she says sarcastically.

You raise your hands up in defense, “Hey I know everyone here. And this is my first time seeing you here. Point out anyone in the bar and I’ll say their name from here.” 

She looks around the bar before pointing at the lonely old man sitting by himself in the corner booth. The blonde points at him and you smile. 

“Hey Timmy!” you yell and you immediately get his attention.

He gives you the bird before grumbling to himself under his breath.

“Wow what was that for?” the girl asks and you laugh.

“It’s just old Timmy being Timmy. Very grumpy old man, but if I don’t say hi to him everyday he gets even grumpier.” you say and she giggles.

The next two hours the two of you continue to drink and talk. Getting tipsier and tipsier by the second. 

She looks at you through her eyelashes with a sultry look on her face. You bite your lip looking down. 

“How about we go to my hostel? It’s not too far away from here.” she whispers in your ear, her hot breath turning you on by the second. 

“I would love that.” 

Once you enter the blonde girl’s hostel you smile at her widely. Sitting down on the edge of her bed. But she’s not wasting anytime. 

She kisses you roughly, her hands flying to your hair. The blonde straddles you, placing both legs on either side of you. 

The two of you kiss with so much passion. And you think to yourself that this is probably one of the best kisses you've ever had. 

The heat in between your legs was growing with each kiss that was being shared. She decided to turn up a notch unable to control her on wants and needs. 

She started to grind her hips into yours. The stranger could practically feel the throbbing through your pants. She smirked as you moaned into her lips. Your jacket was the first thing to go, it was on the floor in a matter of seconds.

You wrote down your number and left it on the bedside table before slipping out. Before making your way into your boss’s office, you stopped at the bathroom. Brushing your hair down and making sure your clothes weren’t too wrinkled.

“Hello Y/N, long night?” your boss asks as he stares at you.

You close your eyes, nodding slightly, “Yes I-” 

He throws you a bottle of Advil and pours you a glass of water. 

“Thank you sir. So what do you need me to do?” you ask, politely popping the pill into your mouth.

“I need you to drive the children’s new au pair to the house. She should be here any second now, but I need you to drive them to Bly. I’m far too tired and hungover to do that.” he says softly, “You’re welcome to stay at Bly for a little while as well. I know the kids miss you.” 

“Of course Mr. Wingrave.” you say. 

The rest of the time the two of you fill the comfortable air with conversations about the case he’s working on. Until there was a knock on the door from the receptionist.

“Ms. Y/N, Ms. Clayton is waiting for you downstairs.” she says politely. 

“Thank you. I’ll be right down.” she gives you a small smile before heading downstairs, “That’s my cue, I’ll see you in a couple days Henry.” 

“Bye Y/N.” 

You found yourself in front of the building. The new au pair was facing the street waiting patiently.

“Hello, thank you for being patient. Let’s get you to Bly then.” you say looking down, smoothing out your jacket.

“Oh my gosh.” the familiar voice filled your ears as your head shot up.

The blonde from the night before was standing in front of you. And your mouth was open in a slight shock.

“Well, I guess we’ll be seeing each other more often,” you stuck your hand out, “I’m Y/N Y/L/N.” 

“Dani Clayton.” she says shaking your hand.
