Thinking about all of the teens’ fear of abandonment. I think it’s simultaneously why Normal and Hermie never worked out AND why Lincoln and Scary did lol
#bc I think Link and Scary were able to outgrow their inability to talk directly about things#especially Scary bc that was mostly a sad teenage girl thing for her#for Lincoln maybe it was harder bc that is just a chronic Wilson trait unfortunately#but like. with Normal. Will even said that Normal’s inability to accept love from others is why he can’t keep relationships as an adult#which…. augh 🥲 anyway#for Normal and Hermie both I think that fear of abandonment makes them close themselves off#whereas with Link and Scary (eventually) they became closer#maybe a little too clingy early on lol but they adjusted#but yeah. all of the teens have a fear of abandonment so bad it’s crazy#Scary Taylor and Hermie for daddy issues reasons. Normal’s is also daddy issues rooted even though it’s more about… emotional abandonment?#actually Lincoln’s is also daddy issues just the opposite way. bc he grew up so close to his dads that he was scared of being replaced#hence the number 4 stuff lmaooo and all his other jealousy issues etc etc etc#sorry ​this is all such surface level stuff haha. I just. it’s so interesting to me……. love these guys#chalcy stuff#dndads#might as well maintag. shrug
