Vorinakh the Rageturned, Khornate Champion of Rulek

Hertwin Helser was the name of a knight of Nordland. The name of a young man that grew on the tales of heroes and vanquished evils. A young man that have seen the burning of his home and the vengeance he cultivated against the burly raiders that came and took so much. A man that denied love. A man that embraced battle. A man that crossed the sea to fight the monsters beyond. A man that never returned.

Now there was only Vorinakh.

Vorinakh, so enraptured by his wrath that he became the very thing he oathed against that he consumed by its fires. Literally. A burning man that howled and called out against the gods as he burned down villages and seared men, women and children to his rage. Leaving only charred bones and smouldering skulls.

Even he was hunted by a tribe, they found a man changing into a bull. Their axes cleaved at his flesh, only for it to close. Arrows burning into nothing and his rage devoured them. He cared not for the survivors of his god-blessed rage that followed him in their fear-filled awe. He cared not till Khorne's eye fell upon him and transformed the monster more into a beast clasped by his brass collar, chain yanked by a malevolent master that waited for him in Doomkeep. Years scouring the North to South, leading a war-horde that gave the tithe. Blood and Skulls. Whether of their enemies or their own.

For Khorne cared not but to stock his beastman's rage. Kill. Maim. Burn. Whether by the demand of Khorne or the claw of Rulek, Vorinakh became the evil that consumed heroes and gathered monsters. The evil that have burned homes and cultivated the hatred of zealots and noble souls that came and saught his skull. A evil that embraced war. A monster that denied peace. A evil that cross the sea to hunt the people beyond. A evil that did not fell.

Once, there was a man named Hertwin Helser.

Week 04 Blog 1/2 I paused at 6 seconds

I paused the video at 6 seconds. Jonathan Helser shared this quote by Oswald Chambers,

"The root of all evil is the suspicion that God is not Good".

I did not know who Oswald Chambers was so Iets introduce him to ourselves.

Oswald Chambers was a Scottish teacher who was born to baptist preachers. He aligned himself to the Holiness Movement of the Early Twentieth Century. His relationship with God took him to the United States and Japan for several years. He was best known for his Biblical philosophy books and devotional.

This quote springs up this confidence that no one created God, He would not be God if he was created by something else. God is good, Jesus is not the tolerant version of Him. The Holy Spirit is filler of all void. Together they bring about holy structure where in their being, we live and move and breathe. Holy structure is not in a set of do and don't's. However, we look to the life of Jesus and character of God for inspired devotion. Obedience is a mark of love not a mark of obligation.

It is not easy to navigate any set of life circumstances, no matter what you believe in. But your belief does determine how exactly you should navigate them.

I hope this text comforts and answer some question that may linger in your heart and mind. Remember to those who are still seeking the truth while on this planet, be encouraged that no question is too hard or too odd for God.
