OC talk: Rambling about my fav story creation cus I am that level narc

My brain always keeps slightly rehashing his name or editing spelling/pronunciation so today, we're gonna call him Brawg (Bog but add an R, so say, Borg). Anyway, if you've followed my insta talk-at-yous about him, ya'll know I've been between two origin stories of his father being a 17/18 year old whose parents are temple keeps, like they feed the local monks after moving to an off the map mountainous village in god-only-knows and he opens this heavily protected book, finds out the massive lunch bong is actually tired to a portal releasing this fucked up monster/demon god thing related to an ancient event that later brought on the thing that was always mislabeled as the rising of Jesus, but was actually gates from various paranormal areas between realms opening and all manner of the humanoid-related-ish creatures coming through and becoming part of this multi-world (Like imagine LOTR or AT, worlds within worlds within small areas within just air. Like if you went into town, and from above it looks like a few shops and a Starbucks but you walk through and those shops extend to merchants, clubs, everything, plus ANOTHER STARBUCKS). Extended world, I guess. And he becomes obsessed with the thing and releases it, only to realize it's a horrifying, disturbing mesh of sentient being and animal/ghoul/beast and decides to run off with it, vowing his soul and being convinced it loves him back so they go on the run and just super yeet. --- While the alternate which I've decided is better/less stupid/more disturbing is Middle-aged holy man, your local kind and curious father of 3 with the loving wife who adores him, whose smart and logical (He kills a girl for befriending Borg when MC is a teenager and tries to help him leave the cult, the fear factor is worse but hey, fiction) and kinda hailed/loathed in various circles for his studies/openness, is brought the same book from origin 1 by someone he later builds a cult with and SACRIFICES, becomes obsessed and opens the portal releasing future Wifu/hubby/spouse thing and worships them as he creates a following around them, ditches his first family and pulls in followers to slowly feed them before later holding a grand feast and just yeeting the doors open and getting everyone killed, faking his own death to escape and take new fam far away cus CRAZY. Obviously, I like the second origins story version because you get more interaction/betrayal and a steadier, slower descent into overall insanity where everyone gets hurt (IF I ever wrote this, you'd need a sick bucket, plushies to cry in, and a therapist on call to keep you calm) in the form of murders unsolved, lives being ruined, losing loved ones and overall horror as things get discovered but lead to MORE questions. Version 2 is a stereotype turned on its head, Holy man goes rogue, you expect the basics but see he's WORSE than you expected and it is all because of this obsession he NEVER tells you details about but uses as every reason for his messed up deeds and you know he's serious like you want there to be other reasons cus the one he's giving, makes you wanna die. Fam 1 is left safe (Which some people find worse) but has to deal with the car crash of emotions at having someone once so normal become this sociopathic, no shits given/proud of his crimes, murderer. Fam 2 is literally just Borg and his birth giver and anyone else who knows of this secret is later dead af so pretty much, only B and his dad know until YEARS later and even B's fam don't know the whole story till Percy gets involved...even then...he keeps bits hidden for his own reasons. Yeah, Origins story 2 has a lot more body to it (Hahahahahaahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I'm sorry) and is just generally better/clearer thought out cus it felt 'Canon' to me, even tho I created it so kinda doesn't make sense but yeah. I'm sticking with a middle-aged rogue holy dude, hopefully forever now cus my brain hurts so much. Also starting off older gives a more serious tone whereas 18 is like "THIS ISN'T A PHASE MOM!", and to stick that way lessens the impact

of later shit. But you're not expecting a chill dad who runs a church and is pretty open/normal/smart to just yeet out and bone a demon god, have a baby with it and go on to kill people in the name of this god. -- Imma follow up with some more later if I remember this post even happened and if anyones interested, comment/like to I can see and we can talk about it! If anyones disturbed...go home
