Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc was released on the Playstation Portable, on the 25th of November, 2010.

I would have been Byakuya Togami but I don’t have his outfit and wig YET.

I would have also been Toko Fukawa, though I haven’t properly learned how to put stuff on my face, specifically improving my eyeliner game and learning how to put on false eyelashes.

Besides, I filmed a bit of some Mondo Owada stuff with my new camera.

And I’m still figuring out how to use my new (mirrorless) camera.

Yeah.

I can’t cosplay.

I can’t put on makeup.

It’s why I always say that I don’t really cosplay.

Since I recently “cleaned” out my Instagram account and changed the handle, due to a slight breakdown I’ve had, I’m gonna spruce up this blog and add my new stuff on here.

I may have to re-edit some old posts, or private them, because I rant too much on my captions.

This is my latest outfit I wore. :)

It’s more of a closet cosplay since I don’t think I’ll ever where it to conventions unless if I alter a lot of things to the outfit, and I’m terrible with anything cosplay.

I’m feeling good in this though.

I can’t do anything too spicy since it’s tumblr. X0

FBF: FanimeCon 2019 (Day 3)

Just a quick pic from the Boba Bar in Downtown San Jose.

I’ve originally planned to be another character for the Danganronpa gathering day but I didn’t quite have enough time to work on (modifying) that cosplay outfit in time due to some personal problems.

So, I decided to bring back the sweet bug boi!

I didn’t cosplay him that much, as I did last year, and I didn’t think he’d be making a comeback for FanimeCon.

Although it was a bit of a bummer that the sudden heavy pouring of rain caused us to cut the Danganronpa gathering short, luckily it wasn’t hot during this Fanime!

I remember during last year’s Fanime, I made the mistake of wearing the whole outfit while I was driving my friends and I. Sweat dropped down my forehead and into my eyes, especially when the glasses traps the sweat in there.

But hey, just imagine catching a Gonta driving on the freeway.

Hange works at Daiso for a day.

After leaving the 52nd Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival (13 April 2019), I visited my work place and helped them with some returns/putbacks, while in cosplay.

It was fun, despite the fact that I was dehydrated and sweaty. The festival was warm but this store was warmer.

Waiting for the BART train to come, right after walking around all day at the first weekend, out of two, of the SF Cherry Blossom festival, as Hanji.

It was a pretty tiring day!

But it was a fun day! It was even my first time taking public transportation in cosplay! It’s an experience to say the least.

FanimeCon 2019 (Day 2)

I usually put Instagram or SNOW filters on my photos to hide my insecurities (though I use SNOW for cute stuff). However, such as a case like this, the filters ends up highlighting them.

I heightened the contrast a bit to make myself seem like I’ve been hitting the gym, even when I’ve only recently went back to lifting weights only weeks before Fanime. Besides my chest, jawbone and my clavicles being more defined, through the filters and picture settings, my chest acne and my hand eczema scars are made more noticeable.

It’s a bit funny about the chest acne because that would have set up some speculation among gym-goers of whether or not I’ve taken performance enhancing drugs, if I’ve actually was more muscly.

Despite all that, I do like the gritty effect. I feel that it’s fitting for Mondo’s tough guy-biker gang leader vibe. I even slightly feel like I was in a 2000s metallic hardcore album cover but without the old English lettering.

My wig was a bit problematic and my make-up could use more improvement, but I still had a pretty fun day with my cosplay family, who are also the Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc mini-cosplay-group I’ve hung out with, and watched, throughout the majority of the day.

With that being said, I’ll be posting more pictures and video edits of our Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc cosplay of this day on my Instagram cosplay account: dime1018

This is out of respect for my cosplay family, considering that they appear on the majority of those photos and videos, and they’re mainly active on Instagram.

I’ll post content of my own on tumblr, yet I would reshare my cosplay family’s photos and videos, or which ever I use as part of any future video project I plan to do, on Instagram.

However, I’ll still be updating my tumblr blog with some FanimeCon 2019 stuff with every chance I get and until I run out of FanimeCon 2019 content.

FanimeCon 2019

23 May 2019 - Day 0

(Greg Universe Car Garage Noise Session)

Lol excuse my terrible guitar playing. I haven’t played in a while and only picked up the guitar weeks before Fanime 2019, since I’ve been listening to a lot of Sleep, Black Sabbath and other doom metal/stoner metal stuff. Sleep’s “Dopesmoker” and their most recent album in years, “The Sciences,” really made me pick up the guitar again.

Fun fact: Not only is San Jose a hometown to Fanime but to the band Sleep, who was formerly known as AsbestosDeath.

Honestly, despite my terrible guitar playing, I hardly speak postively of my own appearance, especially in cosplay, but I looked better than my Leo/Loké cosplay I’ve worn for the Fairy Tail gathering on Day 1.

I was debating on whether I should attend the Fairy Tail gathering or the Steven Universe gathering on that day, and they were on the same times.

I thought that not a whole lot of people cosplay as Loké, so I guess I could be him and it’s an excuse for me to be in a suit.

Although I had fun at that gathering, I looked terrible. My wig was so off and I was only recognizable because of the suit and glasses. That’s why I don’t even have pics from that event.

It was the same as the Fairy Tail gathering back at Anime Expo 2018, where I was Grey Fullbuster but my wig looked more like Deku from My Hero Academia, yet I was still recognizable because my shirt was off and I had the Fairy Tail insignia on my pec.

I guess I might try a Fairy Tail gathering for the third time but probably a different character that time around, since I’ve butchered two characters already. Big oof

After seeing pics of the Steven Universe gathering on day 1, I sort of wished I’ve attended that gathering instead. The Greg Universe cosplayers there looked awesome.

Fanime 2018 - Day 3

Some bathroom selfies but as Gonta!

I never gotten to actually style my Gonta wig but I just thought that it was alright with the way it is since it’s Gonta and he’s got messy hair.

I went to a Danganronpa gathering today with great friends of mine, I got into some photo shoots with another gathering and a photo shoot with just me and my friends with this photographer who has a professional set up.

At first, I was a bit hesitant to go into those photo shoots due to a bad experience I’ve had at one con, a couple of years back, but it actually went well this time around.

I’ve had the support of my friends and a lot of fellow cosplay friends, so I was able to get my confidence up to pose for the cameras.

Today’s been a great day! First time I didn’t go solo for Fanime, in my 5 consecutive years of attending!

I’ll probably post those pictures on here soon when I get them!
