A hit gone south, a bad habit of the redhead’s in underestimating his target, Pico’s vision spun as he slumped back against the wall he’d just harshly whacked the back of his head into. Pounding head raised to take in the dazed sight of the man knelt before him, Pico managed a dismissive grunt, not bothering to follow his best friend’s demand as the merc went to struggle back to his knees, leant against the brick all the while.

“ Fuckin’— twenty. M’ fine, man. ”

Despite his words, Pico could only stay up for a few moments before he swayed and slumped forwards, landing against his friend and struggling to stay upright from there. No disregarding remarks this time, only strained huffs as the redhead tried to keep the throbbing pain within his skull at a manageable level.
