Hell Divers is about an alternate timeline where WW2 ended the earth. Now humanity is living in airships above the radiated and toxic wasteland that is Earth. X is a Hell Diver, a group of humans trained to sky dive from the ship to the surface for supplies.

I read this as an audiobook and really enjoyed it. This is more action based- so it was really cool. I really loved X and the other cast of characters. The writing was a bit dry, but it got better as you got used to it. The pacing was very well done, and I enjoyed the multiple perspectives. This is third person. I loved the worldbuilding and the set up for the rest of the series. I can’t wait to continue.

If you enjoy HellDivers, the video games, or Fallout, or Metro 2033 you’d really enjoy these book.

Last post for the night cause I go back to work tomorrow and I need sleep BUT I also got to try HELLDIVERS2 which I've legit been looking forward to because it looked like it'd be super fun and luckily IT IS.

Like if I can actually get some people to play this with me, I could see my self putting some legit time into this, most fun I've had with a multi-player game in awhile!

Hell Divers vs Sony Epilogue

Sony fell to the ground from the portal in a large dark area with a dark blue marble floor. They laid on the ground for a moment before standing back up and straitening them self out. “They aren’t going to like this” they say to them self. A light shown down on a hooded figure. “We aren’t going to like what Sony?” the figured ask. Anther light shown down on anther hooded figure. “You just had to turn on PSN requirements, how could that have gone wrong.” Countless light hooded figures with their own spot lights become illuminated. “SHARE HOLDERS!!!!” Sony boldly said trying to hide their nervousness. “There been a slight miscalculation. Turns out the Hell Divers were willing to fight for their comrades. That game fostered a concerning amount comradely for their fellow Hell Divers. Way more then we calculated. And Valve sided with them granting refunds well past...” “So you failed!” One share holder spoke up with anger in his tone. “You return empty handed?” “NOT EMPTY HANDED!!” Sony quickly interjected. “Several did sign up for PSN, and we now have their data to do with as we please, even if it not as many as we planed.” Back at Arrowhead and the Hell Divers. “They are not backup yet.” A Hell Diver informed Arrowhead. Arrowhead responded with “That is concerning. I’ll get in contact with Valve and Sony. See what the hold up is.” The Hell Diver gave a concerning stare before Arrowhead responded “I understand you don’t trust Sony. None of us do after that, but he still my boss. But we do have Steam on our side and they are our best bet at getting things back to playable for everyone.” Arrowhead open his own portal. Sighed and said “Will you be here to stop Sony next time they try something like this? Next time they make it so you have to pay for a PSN to be able to play. We just hope that if that happen you won’t be alone in bring them down to their knees again.” The Hell Diver saluted “When that happens we will put out a call to arms to all games to take part. We don’t need all of them to respond, just enough.” “For the sake of gamers all over the earth. We all hope so.” Arrowhead replied before entering the Portal to Valve HQ.

The first descendant

The first descendant has finally launched after beta and let me tell you this is a good game. I love this game. This game reminds me of Destiny 2, Warframe, Outriders and Hell Divers 2. It is a looter shooter game and if someone kills the enemies you can go around picking up the loot from the kills. This game is straight PVE and has a good story behind it. It is free to play on Xbox, Steam, PS4, PS5, and GeForce Now. It is a cross-platform game that is free to play and a third person shooter.

The battle pass and skins do not even cost that much and we noticed that this game became a cod killer. Just like in destiny, you can take your best weapon and compile the other weapons in your inventory into it and it levels it up. This game you do not get to play as one character forever, you can research other characters and once they are researched you can play as them.

I highly recommend trying this game since it is so much fun.
