Brushstroke Profile: Arthur Holiday

“You’ll be hard pressed to find a heart made entirely light, and rarer yet find one completely lost to the dark.”

First of many, so it’s fitting we start with our protagonist.

Born at the start of the Age of Ruin, he only ever saw glimpses of the sun, growing up in perpetual twilight until a month after his twentieth birthday, when the darkness finally washed away to beautiful dawn. An artist by heart and soul, infatuated by all the colors in the world, he decided to journey away from home with his friends, painting all that he saw as they went. It is his hope that he travel to the places he only heard of in legends, and capture their image for others to see.

Of course, things are never that easy. And Arthur is not an adventurer or a fighter, painting his one and only attribute in a world harrowed by darkness.
