Did 2 things outside my comfort zone this weekend: 1) Went to an SILA event where I knew NO ONE and survived! Really glad I went cuz I met some really nice people! 2) Not always comfortable with gouache, but so inspired by the mesmerizing and addictive videos of Helen Dardik that I decided to just see where my paintbrush would lead me. Does anyone else have display pillowcases? Or am I the only nut job? 🤪 What are display pillowcases I hear you ask??? 🤔 Well dear friend, these are of a pretty and sometimes but not always more expensive nature that no one is actually allowed to sleep on and use. They are for cosmetic use only and do not need to be washed and replaced as often as they are removed when you go to bed. They just make the bed look #pretty.
