Appreciation for OAK

So i have been keeping up on Once a Killer for a while now and let me tell you…it.is.beautiful (chefs kiss💜💜)!!!i love everything about it…even when the action and mystery are so kickass wonderful , i am an absolutely sucker when it comes to OC’s and Tae’s domestic fluff…even when theyre doing mundane things, it simply makes the readers’ hearts soar.

Also, its so hard NOT to resonate with OC…you can empathise with how conflcited she is when it comes to the mission and all that fear she harbours inside for her friends’ life. I mean, i have never been part of a mafia or a police force, but i cant help but feel like i’ve lived through what OC has. And she is the strong female lead we all need 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

JK…what a well written character, honestly. I usually always have doubts when it comes to too good, nice characters…like they might have ulterior motives for the way they behave. But his and OC’s friendship feels so legitimate (even if OC has a really questionable past and he accepts that fact) that his behaviour is very convincing. I mean, he’s ready to put his life on the line for a friend.

Aside from them, Yoongi’s appearance in the latest chapter gave me goosebumps…boy, he is one myesterious dude. Im really interested to see his friendship with OC though…i suspect that her dynamics with the mafia members will be completely different from what she has with Tae and JK and the others.

So far, my favourite part is the conversation between OC and Tae in chapter 7. Its heartbreaking even if they’re not saying a lot…when he asks about why the gun was on the nightstand all of a sudden, it puts things into perspective, how much of a dangerous job she’s up for and how her mended life can break again. I liked that tiny detail a lot, sorry if i read too deep into it.

I am terribly sorry that i took this long to send this in, but i really love this fic. I plan to slowly read my way through your masterlist without any hurry since im on vacation for a bit. Also, i hope life is good for you and that youre doing well outside of tumblr in terms of health and being happy…
