💥 HOW I GOT STUCK IN THE HETALIA FANDOM

Sooo, this is going to be a storytime (bear with me HAHAH). I got into Hetalia when I was around 14 (2017). I was in the Vocaloid and Love Live! (+ 48Groups) fandoms at the time and I stumbled upon HETALIA because of hetaloid. Yes, those HETALOIDS 😭😭. Being someone who likes history and is curious about international relations/dynamics, I WAS SOLD. NOT JUST SOLD, I WAS PUMPED. What do you mean these people are representing an entire country? WHY ARE THEY ALL SO COOL AND HOT? ... is that a good or bad thing? I'm not sure, but I'm here now.

To think about it, I've been mostly a silent fan of hetalia itself besides my current time here and a brief period of my time in the hetalia amino (lessons learned fr fr😭). While it took me awhile to become an active (non-lurking) fan after some "wtf was that" experience in the past, I promised myself I'll try and be more active and confident regarding the things I like, including hetalia (take that new year's resolution!!!!!11)

💥 48 GROUPS???????

Oh, this is actually referring to 48G, J-pop idol groups most commonly known to be sister groups of AKB48 that I was practically obsessed with before and now on a limited level unfortunately since most of my oshis (like stan) have graduated (left) the group. 😭

I also kinda listen to 46G (rival group of 48G), =LOVE, ME:I, INI but very casually even with K-pop groups 😭

gotcha, hope you have a nice rest :) Hmm let's see well, other ideas... maybe Taylor and Lincoln are exploring a cave for some reason. Searching for a magical item and its gotten very dark in there. Now, given Taylor's darkness spell and him using it pretty often--I assume he isn't bothered by the darkness on its own. However, they can hear plenty of noises within the cave. He's on alert incase of an ambush. The two walk close together and Link uses his like glow spell thing to make his gun a beacon of light for them both.

They go further in and eventually have to walk in a line due to the smaller space. Link even has to duck slightly due to height. The duo talk to fight off silence, but the cave seems to go for so long that they run out of things to talk about. At one point, the cave shakes intensely and Link loses concentration. The glow poofs out for a moment and then he quickly casts it again. Anxiously, Link asks if Taylor is still there (much like he did with the baby monitor in canon).

Taylor takes a moment to respond, voice a little hoarse from the earlier chatter. His voice sounds confident and energetic which is comforting to the paladin. Taylor reaching out to squeeze his free hand is even better. Link also feels how sweaty Taylor's hand is though but doesn't comment on it. Thinking that Taylor was trying to stay calm for the both of them. They continue moving. Eventually the teens arrive at the end of the cave, a big and circular room of earth and stone. There's the shimmering item floating at the center. Taylor tells him to head inside already but Link figures that's odd. He knows the survivalist is keen on checking for traps at any opportunity, especially in shady places like this. Maybe he was that tired after their tense walk over here? Link decides he'll look for him and his gaze wonders from the rounded wall to the ceiling. When he looks above, Link sees a net on the ceiling of the cave room... ...With a tied up Taylor who looks furious. Furiously gazing behind Link and so he turns, trying to get back. This other Taylor--no some other creature--shifts its hands into big claws and attacks. Taylor, still above, finally manages to break out of his restraints and the net as his companion falls back, clutching his chest in pain. The survivalist uses the net to slide down to the floor and the two manage to defeat the enemy together. Link's about to heal them both, starts with Taylor much to his dismay and then faints before he can heal himself. He awakes to Taylor calling his name first. Then, there's the sound of footsteps and a bag opening. Some of the bleeding is stopped as Link gets a bit more coherent, enough to muster some soft words. More time goes by like that until Link says: "I uh...been thinking that...Maybe I hate Garfield?" In Taylor's frantic focus, it takes Link telling him something nonsensical to realize Link's actually talking again. He has stopped letting out pained breaths. The shorter boy pauses, the current bandage now abandoned. Taylor tries to find some words but more of a noise comes out. Link winces and smiles, might even laugh a little, "that's a joke...ngh...this really hurts."

Taylor doesn't laugh or smile, staring at him with wide eyes, a little glossy. Lincoln goes ahead and asks Taylor to help move his hands so he can heal himself now (or attempt too). Atleast enough so the two can walk out of here. His friend jumps into action when given the request. With the minor healing finished, Taylor hugs Lincoln really tightly. The dark-haired teen apologizes for letting the enemy get the jump on them. Link can feel tears dampening his shirt while he hears him continue to apologize. He starts to cry too. That was terrifying, and it is setting in more now that its over. Voice wobbly, he says that Taylor did his best, they both did, and he's glad they are ok. That Taylor is the reason he's okay right now.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

The first time I saw him it was a lil bit after elden ring came out but I hadn’t played it yet, and someone posted and extremely blurry image of the Godskin duo captioned “these two slap your girls ass what would you do” and even from those chunky pixels I could sense I’d rly love the character by design alone. I went into a frenzy trying to find more HQ images (I didn’t even know the name yet I just looked up “elden ring boss with two guys”) but there wasn’t much on the internet yet. eventually someone posted a closeup of his face online and when I saw it I felt my fucking face burn it was so over I had literally never felt such strong love for a character in my life (which is rly saying something I think, if you know me) and this is still true 2 years later. this was the original closeup I saw btw

I’m definitely feeling all the feelings, as it was a long and dragged out journey (even though I was thoroughly hooked before I read the first words) because of work and yenno - my mental health lol.

It was so so soooooo beautifully written. The imagery and details were literally AMA-ZA-ZING 🤩✨

A physical embodiment of a female experience/journey of womanhood; and how figuring out and finding oneself can feel like an eternity. It also perfectly captured the melancholic, yet beautiful fear and joy that comes with living, and how worth it it is to go through all of it.

Circe is probably the MOST likable character of all time 🥲😭😭❤️❤️🥺

Her appreciative spirit for simplicity
