Avery, Ozan and Jamie go hunting sometimes, which is cool because Avery is fast when she hunts already and Jamie can turn into, like, a big wolf or something like that and carry Ozan on her back. Tara and Mikaela do music together, Camilla likes to exist in nature without moving for a while, Arthur and Toby cook and Daniel likes to read.

Pretty darn fast, especially if Jackson's not around. If he was, they'd probably work together to get him to safety and then immediately turn on each other.

Yeah, you're probably right. Avery, Ozan and Tara always do, Jamie sometimes.

Arthur has a very old doll that never seems to be quite where you left it. He refuses to get rid of it. Camilla once threw it into the garden and the next morning it was back on the shelf.

Mikaela: Plays the final countdown impressively well for the fact that it's a kazoo. / Tara: Makes a sound so loud and horrible that it kills you instantly. / Mary: Annoys the hell out of Daniel. / Granny: Eats it. / Jackson: Actually plays it like a normal person.

I like my characters, but I don't think I'd want to kiss them... I'll give George a parental kiss on his fucked up little baby head. I also?? Don't want to slap any of them??? I'm sorry for ruining your question lmao 😔

Camilla only uses it to cook. Esther and Granny tend not to use it much, but they do send stuff in the group chat sometimes. Tara and Mikaela refuse to get any technology on their ship except stuff that their crew needs, like hearing aids or noise cancelling headphones. Toby can spend hours on wikipedia, researching random facts or perfecting articles. The rest use them pretty normally, tough use may vary.

Oh, shoot... Avery and Daniel, I'd say. Both have had issues with it in the past (Avery with her family, Daniel with Mary). It's part of why they get along so well- They understand each other and trust that the other won't leave them behind.

What is fear to humans is a very good question that indeed makes me want to apply it to them. However if you asked me what the question to them is I'd probably say something like "how many fucked up little freaks (affectionate) can I fit into one family?"

Jason panted as he pulled his sword out of the now dead angel. Their wings spread open in death, feathers scattered like fallen flower petals with the leave of spring.

Jason's own wings twitched at the sight of it as he caught his breath, and he jumped at the press of nails against his feathers, digging deep to reach into his oil glands and press against them.

He turned his head with a glare.

"Jazz!" He hissed. Jazz smiled sweetly, her fangs showing as her tail wrapped around his leg, drawing him closer to hug him.

“Hello, dearest,” she said. “Did you have a good time?”

He tucked in his wings so she could have an easier time hugging him, and then turned around so he could hold her close. She purred softly and held onto him tighter. The blood of celestial beings made them both sticky, but he didn’t care.

Jason asked, frowning at her uncharacteristic demeanor, “What’s wrong?”

Jazz paused. Then she answered slowly, “Your brothers are here.”

Jason tensed. “Who?”

“… Dick and Tim.”

Jason exhaled painfully, clenching his eyes tight as he let his swords disappear in order for him to hold onto Jazz properly. Memories of his Fall flashed behind his eyelids, clear as if he had only experienced them moments ago. Memories of his brothers and sisters rising against him, casting him aside as an outsider. Memories of his big brother, whose righteous hands and hard eyes had been the one to throw him out of Heaven’s gates and into the Abyss. Memories of the pain and betrayal before Jazz had found him and saved him.

“… tell me you’re joking,” Jason said, his voice cracking and Jazz shook her head, rubbing at his wing joints in comfort. His halo, dim without heavenly grace and broken in two, laid over his head, dipped as he ducked his face into her shoulder.

He would never be the same angel as before again.

“I’m afraid not, dearest. I spotted them when I was taking care of the stragglers. We should leave now,” Jazz said softly, moving away, and Jason mourned her comforting embrace for only a moment before he nodded, pulling her back into his arms and opening his wings, once white and pristine and now blackened by his descent, to take flight.

He flapped them once, securing Jazz in his arms, before he took off.

They soared through the air and as they abandoned the battlefield, Jazz played with his curls with her dark claws and asked, “So what’s our next plan? Shall we find the next battalion of angels and ambush them too?”

Jason nodded, having no more words through the ache in his throat. Jazz cooed and petted his hair, before she said, “It’s okay, dearest. Your life as an angel in heaven is over. Now, you belong to me, in Hell.”

Jason clenched his eyes shut and tried to sear her words into his mind for strength.

“You belong to me for eternity, Jason. I’ll take care of you.”

ok. let me give you just a little bit about each of the three main characters bc thats what would make ME interested.

li xiangyi/li lianhua:

li xiangyi rises to the top of the jianghu/martial arts world at 18, but is poisoned and nearly dies during a fight with di feisheng. he's given about 10 years to live. (story starts 10 years later.)

he decided to step out of the jianghu altogether and live life as li lianhua, a "miracle doctor" whose reputation is 100% bullshit.

the only thing he wants is to find the missing corpse of his dead shixiong and bury him properly before he dies himself.

king of lying to your face repeatedly with no shame.

fang duobing:

fang duobing gets manipulated and backstabbed by li lianhua and immediately starts following him around

after about the third time li lianhua dumps him on the side of the road in an attempt to ditch him, fang duobing starts calling him zhiji

has a huge celebrity crush on li xiangyi, and walks around telling people he's li xiangyi's disciple because of a small interaction the two of them had about 10 years ago.

fang duobing spends the whole beginning half of the show telling li lianhua TO HIS FACE how great and awesome and cool li xiangyi is

^^ btw this is how fang duobing looks at li lianhua WHILE li lianhua is actively poisoning him. <3

di feisheng:

wants to fight li xiangyi again more than anything. like. anything.

agressively tries to heal li lianhua time and time again but li lianhua does NOT want to become li xiangyi again.

is he li xiangyi's old enemy? friend? are they working towards the same goal? do they want to kill each other? well... <3

other reasons why i like it:

I am a fan of inescapable tragedy

I love how the ghost of li xiangyi haunts every part of the story despite li lianhua doing his very best to kill his past self

Truly delicious amounts of dramatic irony

Every time you think the most embarrassing thing possible happens to fang duobing something worse happens to him

So many interesting character interactions deepened by layers of hidden identity

Ending made me cry like a baby and I don't cry easily <3

:BLUSHYSMILEYCATEMOJI: hehehe well, it is mostly done, it just needs the polishing up for proper posting display with the accompanied drawn diagrams and colour coding (also it's quite old at this point, started working on it a year ago and wanted to work on lore stuff so I put it on hold, so the doodles look kinda bad but oh well alsjdfsdfj). The one main thing I just have to make her Reformed Mordrem minions to display the rest with the little visual diagrams, but I can post what I have done here so far <3 (this is actually the first time I've posted the updated state of this WIP since I last talked about it last year lskjfs. So sorry in advance if some of this seems janky as I haven't gone over it in a hot minute) Note: I also wanna redo the icon thing to be more of an eye instead of the lotus since it makes more sense literally and thematically and to just try to make it look better in general. For context my OC Mourynn/Vallotash (same person kinda) is Mordremoth's (parasitic) Scion in a weird imposter (syndrome) situation (leaving that bit out for now), and her whole thing was inspired by the ??? area in Jahai bluffs with the one quote that inspired her existence "Are you a dragon dreaming that it's a hero? If you were, how would you know?", where the area also matches her colours thematically too, and why her Mesmer abilities all revolve around hallucinations and tapping into the "Dragon of mind/plant, roots/madness, etc." where the spec also evolves slowly over time as she develops, but it does get amped up during LS1 with Scarlet being responsible for kickstarting it (as she brainwashed Mourynn to help cultivate the Dreamthistle into the Toxic Offshoots, and from there with HoT and so on as things got worse and this just evolved into it's own thing, haha). Super abridging explanations (and badly lol) since I feel that part with the Toxic Alliance and those spores were an important step towards this becoming what it is. Also I still need to decide on names for some things, but oh well ;w; ANYWAYS! Mourynn's custom Mesmer elite spec (WIP):
