He wanted to direct the movies based on his books, but he’s actually lowkey terrible at leading on his own. But he did stick to being the script writer and co-director (look idk how it works in the film industry i’m just making shit up)

So I always headcanon Albert having two big dobermans. So his fans always want to see a doggy update because Zara and Zoey are everything to them.

Is an amazing singer like wow none of the newsies expected him to have that sort of pipes to reach high notes

And his songs are very lyrical. Like very.

A lot of metaphors. No one knows what most of his songs means.

So basically Taylor Swift songs if it switched genres to rock. And not even like songs from speak now or red. But like if evermore and folklore songs were to turn into rock songs with a little bit of reputation vibes sprinkled on top. And his concerts has the reputation era vibes but make it spot conlon (hey non swiftie fans reading this i’m so sorry i’m pretty sure yall don’t understand wtf i’m talking abt)

She’s very lyrical, with a lot of metaphors

All while holding a mic to sing. And she hits all those high notes like it’s no ones business (a literal queen i tell you)

She and Spot are besties and has been known to have done a few collabs together

Their fans were hesitant about their collabs since their genre is pretty different from the other but they make it work and it slAPS

Finch

He’s an indie pop artist with his trusted acoustic guitar by his side

Just think of music by Wallows and Lewis Capaldi were to be blended in together and Conan Gray for the cherry on top

But it has a little bit of Ed sheeran, Lorde, and Lauv vibes to it too

His concerts are simple but his songs are mostly very boppy so his fans still have fun either way

And it’s usually in small venues but there are times where he had a concert in a huge stadium

He goes by FINCH (yeah all caps btw)

Finches are a very on brand thing for him obviously

Has been known to collab with Crutchie and they actually make a very good team

Somehow was able to combined both genres to produce a few boppy songs

Yes this is inspired by the fact that he’s 100% a history nerd (no one change my mind i love this headcanon aight)

And he explores a lot of different histories from different parts of the world

He actually helps a lot of students understand history even further for school through his novels

Anyways he goes by Specs because I say so

No one knows why that’s his pseudonym and Specs isn’t interested in explaining either. No one other than the newsies need to know it was born from a stupid nickname the newsies gave him :)

His research mostly comes from history books because of his genre which wouldn’t be a problem since he has loads and will voluntarily buy more if needed

Also yeah he makes a great director for the movies taken from his books

Mush

He’s a chef on youtube

Goes by Mush Meyers

So think if Gordon Ramsey and his youtube channel but make it mush

Yeah that’s it really

Ok but Mush is a jolly and friendly person

Other than just food vlogging he does cooking challenges and cooking tips too

He’s a fashion youtuber and basically an influencer 

Let’s be real this boy is a fashion icon

He’s not really a model but more like a fashion influencer and also kind of a fashion designer

Mike and Ike

They’re a pop boy band and bcs of my lack of creativity it’s called Mike and Ike

At the start of their career :

“You’re only older than me by 13 minutes, holy shit!” - Ike

But Ike slowly accepts the fact that it’ll be like this yknow

Anyways they’re pretty great singers

They have one direction and new hope club vibes

Anyways i’ve mentioned a headcanon where Mike has tattoos (not like from head to toe but it’s fairly noticeable to everyone) and Ike has piercings

So the only way their fans tell them apart is by that

But there are times where Mike has his tattoos covered or Ike took his piercings off in public alone. A fan mistakens them for the other twin but they still respond to the other name because they don’t feel like there’s a need to correct them since they’re mostly known by Mike and Ike anyways. When the fan posts it on instagram and tags the twin they thought it was the twin that was tagged would comment “wrong twin but nice pic you two”

Happens wayyyyy too many times. Their fans are officially scared to approach one of the two in public alone without their differentiating indicators on which is which

And yes it is widely known that they argue a lot when it comes to writing songs

persona 5 strikers thoughts and feelings

This is going to be a long post. Like, the type of post you’d only really have time to read when you’re trying to sleep but you’re not ready to be unconscious yet so you’re just looking for something to do to spend your time with minimal effort. 

So in 2018, a masterpiece was born into the world: Into the Spider-verse was released and it was amazing—it’s honestly the best spiderman movie we have without a doubt, and it’ll be very far into the future before Spider-verse is beaten as the best spiderman movie. Them’s the facts. Then in 2019, Spider-man: Far From Home was dropped. It’s a great movie! Great characters, great continuation of who these characters are and works fantastic as a continuation of a story. It’s really hard trying to take the torch of a previous movie (or in Marvel’s case, juggling twenty something movies) and come up with a new movie that both works on its own, as well as being the next step in this series of films. Thus, with that idea in mind, I think it’s kind of unfair to judge into the spiderverse and far from home, because these are two movies with two completely different objectives in mind. 

Okay, so this is still a persona 5 strikers post, I promise, but the idea is the same: Persona 5 could basically do whatever it wanted—new story, new characters, new everything, and it’s just plain old awesome. However, Persona 5 strikers did not have that sort of freedom. It was bound to the original game, and it had its own rules and stuff it had to keep intact, characters they had to work with, and on top of that, it had to justify its existence as a sequel (lets pretend money doesnt exist lmfao). 

SO, the big question is: did it do that? Did it justify its existence? 

And my answer: holy fuck did it ever do that

I came into this game knowing the extreme bare minimum. I knew there was someone named Sophia, and i knew there was roadtrip, and i knew there were Personas. That’s my knowledge of it before i played it on the Switch.  I should also clarify like, early on, that i was not expecting anything from this game. At all. I was the world’s biggest cynic of this game—if you scroll down my p5s tag far enough, youll just see me complaining about a game that hasn’t even come out yet. I was fully expecting to have this be a Waifu show, and any male character that isn’t Akira to just be shoved aside like some kind of nerd in a high school hallway, and i have never been more pleased to be wrong. In fact, i actually owe it an apology, because of how fucking rude i was for no reason!!! Because this game deserves everything to be honest. 

Persona 5 strikers is, frankly, insane. Insane in the sense that it got to pull shit off that just would never have existed in the original game, because the original game is scared. It had to be as impressive as possible and garner as much attention as possible. Strikers does not have that problem—every single person who bought that game does not need to be convinced that persona 5 is a good game. They already played it. That means Atlus can just fuck around and have a good time, and man did they have a good time. There’s still scenes that still shock me if i think about it too hard, because i’m used to atlus having to follow this sort of rule set when it comes to persona 5 (or any of the main games im assuming, but i havent played them.) And on top of that, there’s still shit that’s Atlus Trademarked Branded in a good way. The style of story of story telling, and revealing the mystery that is so integral to what p5 is, is still there. 

So, to make this even a little bit comprehensible, i will make a list! 

First of all, What is this game?

In short, this game is an OVA of an anime. It’s bonus side content that has one thing in mind: to showcase these lovable characters more by putting them in fun situations. That’s it, and it is just phenomenal. That was the main point of, i’d say, like forty hours of the game. It’s just fun times with fun characters. 

But to get deeper of what i think is happening, or what they were thinking during the development, is that this is a second opportunity. Persona 5 (as we all know) had a lot of problems, and we were not quiet about those problems. We yelled it all out, made posts, made complaints on every social media platform ever. And Atlus heard all of them, and Strikers is a way to mitigate those mistakes. Aside from being a fun OVA, Strikers also works to be a deeper exploration of these characters—more specifically, the characters that did not receive much in the original game. Creating this sequel is having the ability to redo what they felt (or to be more specific, we felt) in the original game while adding new ones. I will get to that in a second.  

The format of the game 

Absolutely brilliant to throw them on a road trip. P5V already forced us to experience Shibuya for 200+ hours, and im so glad that they didn’t do that again. Going from town to town, making us experience these new places alongside our favorite characters is so good, and it just makes sense. It’s fun, it’s lighthearted, and it’s actually shockingly good. But one thing i do want to talk about early on is the way the story unfolds and the villains that they use, and what they do with it because it’s very interesting. 

So as we explore japan and stuff, we encounter jails, and with those jails comes an antagonist. This antagonist works to be a parallel to one of our characters. That character will find it in their hearts to feel bad for the antagonist, because the antagonist could have been them had the original game not happen. At first I thought all of the thieves were gonna get an antagonist, and i was really hyped for the ryuji one. And then came to hour forty of the game where i realized “yeah that’s not gonna happen. There’s just not enough time.” And i was right, and the game ended. But i am not salty at all, honestly, because the people who got a direct antagonist were: Ann, Yusuke, and Haru. (we wont count zen and sophie). 

Is there a trend??? Yes. these are all characters in the original game that have received the worst treatment by atlus. The three of them are basically cast aside the minute they finished their original arc, and its horrible! BUT that’s why this is the path that atlus chose for them—to give them more depth, and screentime, and a way to show their inner self. That isn’t to say that the ones who aren’t those three (makoto, futaba, mona, akira, ryuji) didn’t get anything. Futaba still has her thing at the end with ichinose, and she was very prevalent and animated during the rest of the game. Mona and Akira have to be a focal points, that’s just the nature of the game. The other two though, I will talk about in depth in a second.  

Makoto

Y’all i poke fun at shumako fans sometimes cause its kind of easy and fun, but i honestly love makoto. In my very first playthrough of p5 (my first ever jrpg game, first persona game, i had no idea what i was doing), i had only maxed out two characters: ryuji and makoto. And i know she had a lot of screentime and love in the original game which is great, but i truly felt like she was dissed in this game. Her only roles were

A driver

Someone to tell them “we don’t have a choice. Let’s keep going and see where this takes us.” (seriously, if you replay this game, you will see how much she does this)

Idk, i just wish she had more to do, especially compared to how much love they gave the other characters. 

But let’s talk about some of the new characters! 

Zenkichi

Damn you atlus. Damn you and your insistence at bringing in cop characters. I was fully on board with hating zenkichi, i was fucking ready for it. I was convinced that there was nothing they could do convince to like zenkichi. I was immune to their copaganda. 

And then i ended up loving him, which makes me sad a little bit. I didn’t realize how desperate i was to have an adult who has a persona. Someone who wants the world to change just as much as they do, while still having that aspect of them that makes them adult. Like??? As someone who is technically an adult, its a breath of fresh air. An adult. Who fights. For justice. Using a persona. And god i love akane so much, and her obsession with the thieves (that scene is probably in my top ten fave scenes of the game). Also what i loved about zenkichi is that he fucking hates the cops!! He hates the system of the cops!! And thats why i actually really started to love him!! Because i thought it was atlus saying that the systematic problem of the police cannot be solved by one person, and zenkichi threw away his badge. I actually cried at that part!! 

But then he became a cop again, and i was just :/ but as a character, i really love him to bits and would love to do a study on him, or at least use him as an outside pov. But! i absolutely love his persona, since im a les miserables fan hehe

Sophia 

she’s probably my favorite new aspect of the game. I was ready to not like her—again, i just suck like that, lmfao—and when i saw her, i was scared that she was just another waifu. I mean, she was very cute after all. But then as the game went on, i thought she was a little too cute. And even further into the game, i finally slapped myself in the face and realized oh my god shes not a waifu. Shes a sister. 

That blew my mind, im ngl to you. A female character that isn’t supposed to be romanced? By jove, what a miracle! 

And she…is an amazing character. Im sorry, i just love her so much. I love her so much that she  probably ranks as my fifth or sixth favorite character which is surprising even to me. Everything about her is delightful and invigorating. She’s funny??? Her comedic timing is amazing, and she has such chemistry with the rest of the team. She’s actually useful to the plot, and while her character design is a little too on the nose for me in terms of cuteness (i mean, good god she’s wearing oversized sweater to show how cute and tiny she is, and her hair has literal hearts in it), she is absolutely lovable. 

But what i actually really wanna gush about for a second is sophia at the last stage of the game. You get the idea, i dont really like to get excited over things, so at this point i figured that there was nothing this game could do to shock me. 

And then sophia had a persona awakening. 

Like. holy fuck did i yell. I didnt realize what was happening until the music had already kicked in. and its just so fucking smart!!! Sophia??? The ai?? With no heart?? gOT A PERSONA???? AWAKENING??? BECAUSE SHE LEARNED WHAT THE HEART IS AND THE PASSION THAT YOU NEED IN ORDER TO GET A PERSONA??? I started crying honestly, because it was just so smart. And looking back on it now, its obvious!! Of course it would lead to this, it only made sense that the culmination of her character arc leads to her getting a persona, nothing else would have been as good. Also, her voice actor is just amazing?? When she was talking to ichinose at the end, i actually got incredibly emotional because of the line reads. Its just so spot on and it really captures the essence of sophia.

Muah. five stars Atlus. You got me. 

Ryuji <3!!!!

Oh man. Oh boy. Okay. so where do i start. 

Yall know i love him. Hes probably my favorite fictional male character of all time, and he is the one i was the absolute most cynical about in this game. I was expecting literally nothing. Nothing. Like. nothing. I thought he was just gonna keep being used as a joke, or a gag, and he’s gonna be super horny all the time for the other girls and it was gonna make me mad and there was gonna be some insane homophobic/queerphobic jokes in every other scene and i know i was being unfair, but i cant help it. 

And then i played the first two hours of the game, and i cried the entire time. Because ryuji has never been better than he is in this game. Its crazy. 

The ryuji in persona 5 strikers is who ryuji should have been/how he should have been treated this entire time. From the actual funny jokes (for example, the gold bar joke + his reaction to it in the beginning of the game), defending his female friends instead of being the one people need to defend from (natsume arc), and the fact that he was the one to be there with morgana and akira in the very beginning of the game. Its such a small thing that they didnt even need to do, but it was such an integral part of the original game for me, that i just was convinced that nothing like this was going to happen. But then it happened. Its just small stuff like that that could have been overlooked but it wasn’t because this game? Persona 5 strikers? Fucking loves ryuji. 

The actual respect they gave this boy is insane and i wasn't ready for it. Like, they gave the shujin trio lunch, they gave the little charm of the katana when they were in natsume’s jail, and, in my opinion this is the second-best thing that they could have given ryuji is sophia. Ryuji and sophia are the pinnacle of a brother & sister bonding relationship in the game that isn’t akira & futaba. And its really prevalent too?? Small stuff from the beginning of the game (pulling her out of a jail, calling her shorty), but then you have the iconic “shut the fuck up” scene, and that scene was so well characterized and written and voice acted, that somehow him saying “fuck” was the least exciting part of that scene to me. Ryuji is an older brother to her, like its undoubtable, and its only further cemented at the end of the game where Ryuji helps out ichinose because he knows how much sophia cares about her. This game. Love ryuji. And i love. This game. 

You know what else i love? Akiryu. 

Guys. i was fully prepared to starve in terms of akiryu. But theres just. So much of it. I wont get too deep into it, because i think this aspect of the game for me still needs marinate a little bit. Like, what was that last shot when EMMA died and Ryuji walked to approach Akira so they could relish in their victory together?? And the smile from both of them??? What the fuck. That was amazing. Also Joker being saved by Ryuji when he was about to fall from the cliff to save sophia??? WHAT. The LEADER AND HIS RIGHT HAND MAN? WHAT. anyway. If theres anything i want to keep for myself in my own brain, its the akiryu aspect of this game, so i wont talk too much about that part of things (instead, itll probably manifest in fic lmfaooo). 

Sure, there’s tidbits of stuff i dont like that they gave ryuji: sexualizing ann in that one cut scene and making him touch the jails even though it hurts, and i recognize those and frown at them, but for the most part, i am blown away with how they treated him.

Basically, Ryuji has never been better. From the opening of the game with him being the first text message and the one to sling his arm around akira, to the very last cut scene where it was ryuji wordlessly leaving because he’s so confident that they would never be separated for long, this game adores Ryuji and i am so so happy to say that.

The Royal aspect of things

Yeah, i had to talk about this, but itll be a short thing i just wanted to point out. Because the last part of this game...is persona 5 royal. Which is curious. Like taking reality and giving that power to someone else so you dont have to experience suffering anymore? And even like, the final section just looked a lot like the top half of maruki’s palace?? And whats even crazier is that we had a boss fight with sophia, just like how we had a boss fight with sumire? Royal and Strikers have like, the same thesis statement. It’s kind of uncanny.It’s interesting, it’s like atlus came up with these two ideas, and then just decided they liked both of them so much that they just did it twice. I don’t mind though—actually, in terms of how the last Palace/Jails go, i probably like them both about equally. 

Though i did love the final battle in this one more than i did in royal. Splitting into teams?? Thats cool as fuck, and really innovative and i didnt see it coming. It also kicked my ass. A lot. 

Now for the last stretch: the small stuff!

The music — bomb as fuck. In my heart, Daredevil is ranked the same as Rivers. Axe to grind is also amazing, but Daredevil owns me

Akechi — i really debated whether or not to talk about him, but i figured a bullet point should be enough. Im really shocked that he wasnt in this at all. Like not even a name drop. If this is an OVA, and the point of the game is to please the fans, and akechi is arguably the fan favorite character, i was really ready for something. But there was nothing, except for the pancake hallway if that even counts as a reference. Thats it. Thats all i wanted to say about him.

The humour — FUCKING HILARIOUS im convinced that in my fifty hour playtime, five of that is dedicated to me laughing and unable to continue the game 

Akira — so much personality! His lines of dialogue are crazy sometimes (like. Whats up with him saying Ryuji has ‘nice abs’ when they were in bath? Im crazy and even i dont know what the fuck that could mean) 

Battle system — oh my god i almost forgot to talk about this. I love it! I kind of miss the turn based aspect just because i found it very comforting for some reason, but this hack and slash style of gameplay is so invigorating because i do feel like it justifies shit like the baton pass and huge attacks.  This battle system fully encompases how the Phantom Thieves are supposed to fight, you know what i mean?

Anyway, thats my thoughts on strikers. Loved it. Amazing. 9.3/10, wouldve been higher but Konoe’s Jail almost bored me to death. Also im a monster and i didnt do any requests that isn’t a fun one, teehee. As if i play persona 5 for the persona aspect of things.

Top 10 CSatM Episodes (2/2)

As a few paragraphs and pictures for 10 episodes in a row makes a rather long, unruly beast of a post!

The second half of my personal preferred picks for a Top 10, though the order they’re being listed in doesn’t correspond to my favour, but the order how I watch them on my DVDs. I still suggest you read the first half of the list before this one, all the same~

Spoilers below the cut, be warned! ✂

Crater 101

So this ep is pretty much a sequel to Lunarville 7, and is followed up with Dangerous Rendezvous. Neither of those made the cut of my list though, and even isolated from those it makes a solid story. The most Space-y of all the episodes and a visual treat, cause while we mostly stuck to the stark accommodations of Lunarville 7 in that episode, here we see the grey grimy gloom of the outside of the Moon, and the sharp, delightful contrast of the Mysteron’s fantastic plastic Complex. Here, vivid marbled colours and flashing lights join inorganic shapes that suggest something of the Mysteron’s nature, but as always, nothing conclusive.

Moving away from the lovely Aesthetics, this is also a strong one for characterisation. We get some sweet interactions with The Lads and for this episode only, the Best Female Character in the whole show. Linda Nolan is the controller of Lunarville 6, a smart, capable woman who had her own cool space mission referenced and in fact critical to the plot. She is also relatable in that she catches feelings for Scarlet, so while she’s barking up the wrong tree I still have nothing but respect for her, hehee.

Eerie, tense, interesting and still somewhat funny, this is another episode that eeks into an even higher ranking list than 10, I could comfortably put it in 5 and mmmaybe 3. Though I’m not gonna be able to say definitively as the best episodes all bring something different to the table, and this may just be the strongest in the uniqueness regard.

Fire at Rig 15

I get the feeling this may be an unorthodox choice, somehow? But yeah, I just really enjoy it. It’s not a funny episode, but it is rather exciting, and contains some lovely new music and a sweet scene at the end. The Mysteron’s plot is pretty simple, but should it succeed, devastating as it would be crippling Spectrum’s operations by removing the unique type of fuel all the craft uses.

In a way, it’s kind of like a dark mirror to a typical Thunderbirds setup; whereas in that show the initial fire would be more likely to be accidental or just maybe some ne’er do well like the Hood, this time it’s as simple as the Mysterons reopening the master valve. When traditional firefighters would eventually retreat to make room for International Rescue, here Spectrum themselves have a rather passive role as a professional rolls in. And of course, said man finds himself very, very dead due to further Mysteron interference (see picture), with Black seemingly hypnotising the poor bloke into standing too close to the explosion.

From there his duplicate half buries his original corpse and later receives direct instructions from Black to suicide bomb the nearby refinery, and it’s en route to this is where the thrilling car chase takes place! Scarlet saves the refinery but the whole SPV he was driving is completely ablaze at the end of it. Like my thoughts on Point 783, I really appreciate the human touch to the last scene, with soft music as arrangements are made for Scarlet to recover from the horrible state we’re spared of seeing. Seeing how his ability to recover from death is one of the cornerstones of the whole premise, I love it when we’re allowed a bit more insight into what the other Spectrum personnel do in the situations, in this case White specifically instructing Dr Fawn to make sure Scarlet is comfortable as the process takes place.

Treble Cross

A notable and unique spin of an episode, where a rather routine Mysteron threat takes quite the turn when their assassinated target is brought back to life! It seems by the 2060′s we’ll have cool machinery to do CPR for a couple of hours as well as doctors ready to play god when they happen to drive by the car crash scene, heheh

Seriously though, this is a really fresh premise, that the villains who have been using doppelgangers for their devious schemes get the tables turned. This time the duplicate gets perma-killed while the original Major Gravener willingly participates in an undercover mission to help draw Captain Black into a trap at last... However, an easily overlooked factor in the driver who was also killed had been duplicated offscreen, so even with this amazing chance Spectrum can’t catch Black. But the World Capital, Futura City, is saved and Spectrum find the Mysterons themselves can’t tell their own copies from the original person, so it’s all in all a net gain!

Also this episode contains the World’s Happiest Clock, so that’s a neat plus.

Flight 104

We start this story on the incredible note of Captain Blue singing in the shower of the Hotel room he shares with Captain Scarlet. Scarlet then orders them both room service for some lunch. And if that sounds like the start of a fanfic plot, it may well be, but it’s also literally right there in the episode, baybee!

Charmingly domestic opening aside, I love this whole shebang. Again it’s the usual Mysterons threatening of an individual who Spectrum are bodyguarding, but the way both our heroes and villains go about this is different from the norm. Scarlet and Blue are trying to avoid drawing attention, so they spend the whole episode in normal clothes (Blue spending 1/3 of this in that comfy bathrobe!), and don’t have their comms. What’s more, they get a pair of reporters suspicious, and the two trail them looking for a Big Scoop.

When I was first watching this, I was expecting the journalists to get killed by Black to be the Mysteron Pawns, but no! They’re both fine from the start to the end! Then we find Black doing ....something.... to the Flight Crew of the titular Flight 104, but they aren’t killed either, just drugged. Instead, the Mysterons remotely pilot the plane on a slow collision course with the Alps, but are undone when an Electrical Plant interferes with their control.

As breaking into the pilot cabin had the side effect of jamming the landing gear, the plane has to crash land at the airport, but almost everyone being unharmed makes this one of the most gentle episodes of the lot... of course, Scarlet himself is still heavily implied to have been killed from the crash, but even his injuries seem pretty minor this time. And yet, it’s not lacking in excitement, as the tension of Spectrum trying to communicate with the two without their Comms and the inability to override the Mysteron’s control until that pre-established Electrical weakness kicks in holds for a while.

Inferno

Those who know of me from Thunderbirds are Go (the 2015 TV series) discussion are likely to know how much I love the episode from Season 1, Tunnels of Time. It heavily features my favourite ship in that show as they explore an ancient South American Temple which is full of peril. The temple is destroyed by the end of the episode.

So anyway, Inferno features my favourite ship in this show as they explore an ancient South American Temple which is full of peril, and tragically the temple is destroyed by the end of the episode! Heheeheheee~

Ok seriously though, eerie parallels aside this is another utterly beautiful instalment, with set design and lighting that really blows other episodes out of the proverbial water. And the pyrotechnic team clearly had fun with the seemingly unending explosions at the end of the adventure. An all-around visual feast!

Main plot is relatively simple, like in White as Snow, the Mysterons kill a Satellite and its crew and steer the reconstructed version towards their target of the week. Unlike WaS, they succeed in the end, a reminder that they’re still not to be underestimated. No human lives are lost, but the important complex and more tragically, the 800 year old temple that’s otherwise intact, get bombed to smithereens. Something something additional cost of warfare on Culture and History.

But while this is the end of my personal Top 10 list, it’s not all bad, because the Scarlet and Blue antics in the temple are utterly lovely and [chef finger kiss] splendid cinema~!

That about wraps up this Two-part post of mine! Picking 10 out of 32 is easier than 10 out of 100, but it’s still tricky as most of the episodes are very good, with only a few I’d promptly write off as a candidate for the list. And in some ways I wonder if I went about this the right way, some eps I only saw once and might feel strong enough to pip one’a the ones I did choose.

I have been rewatching each of the eps covered, and a few that didn’t make it, but my initial choice was made looking at the full list and letting my gut grab a few, having to think over more as the slots filled. Some fan favourites like Lunarville 7 came close, but I hope I’ve been able to clearly convey what it is about this selection that gave them the edge ;3

I will write further posts on Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons in the future, but after this mammoth and also the Notable Episodes list I’d quite like to enjoy it for a while without thinking about points to talk about, haha

18. What are your OC’sgreatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?

*I think Wolfget’s greatest fear islosing his loved ones or not being able to protect them, so he doesn’t talk toomuch about himself, so others can use that information against him or the oneshe loves.

In Case of weaknesses…I think hedoesn’t have a lot of patience lol.

In case of strengths, I think he isvery analytical as well as practical and can make up some plans pretty quickand act in the most effective way, he has a talent of work very good strategiesfor any purpose.

*In case of Aislinn, her biggest fearin case of phobias, she is scared of whales, something about it’s shape isreally unsettling for her, in case of inner fears, is also not being able toprotect everyone she loves and she is scared of dissapoint anyone who trusther, so she works very hard to accomplish a decent amout of satisfaction on herresponsibilities.

In case of weaknesses per se, mmh wellshe can get distracted pretty easy sometimes, in fact she didn’t know she had amap until she was on the Exalted Plains, everyone was face palming when shediscovered that she had a map with her the whole time lol. That lead to one ofher strengths, she doesn’t get lost because she kinda have a photographicmemory so she doesn’t miss any detail on the landscape, she was taught to uselandmarks or certain details in the nature to navigate herself in the nature.

21.What personalproblems/issues do they have? Pet peeves?

*Ooh a tough one!! I like it hehe….mmmh In case of Wolfget, he is kinda grumpy by nature so that’s not a problem herehehe, I think by personal problems/issues per se I can say is…. mmmh…. is thebad blood between her mother and the rest of the family, his mother’s familywere those kind of people who cares about a lot about a pristine reputation, sothey really didn’t want him to continue with the practice of magical arts(because ewww magic it’s gross and weird), and after Wolfget’s father passedaway, he assured them that he was going to continue practice his magic despitetheir opinions, but he was disinherited by them just like that. Lot’s of legalproblems and demands and court calls later, but finally Wolfget was able torecover the company and the inheritance that his father left to him (and get arestriction orders for her mother and the rest of her family so he can live hislife in peace)

-In case of pet peeves, i think hedoesn’t like when someone invade his personal space, in case someone is hugginghim or poking him or whatever for no reason, he is like’ why are you so close???,go awaaaaaay!!! Get out of my lab!!’.

*About Aislinn, I think she didn’tthought about having personal issues until the events of the conclave happenedand she got involved, she started to develop certain grade of insecurity,ansking herself if she was good enough to help all the people that joined theInquisition’s cause. And since she became the Inquisitor and more duties fellon her, she was terrified that she was not good enough and for sure she wasgoing to dissapoint a lot of people.

I don’t think Aislinn have a pet peevemmmh, probably I’ll find something in the future XD.23.What is a randomfact about your OC?

*Wolfget likes to collect magicalstuff, so adquiring magical weaponry, artifacts, rare books, accesories, etc;became one of his main hobbies.

*A random fact about Aislinn is hmmmm Ithink she really didn’t tried to eat chocolate or sweets until she was workingon the Inquisition, I think that chocolate, sweets and that kind of stuff werea very rare goods to get on her clan. So she was very excited when it was goingto be her first time trying this kind of desserts.

 25.What inspired you tocreate them / how did you create them? Were they originally a fancharacter?What was their personality / design like when you first made them?

*I created Wolfget originally back in2005 (holy shit that’s a long time) he was inspired by this song from Lord ofthe Dance. I had this very old story about angel warriors,  and Wolfget was the big enemy they had todefeat (that’s why he had that odd name XD because I invented his name too, Itried to make it read it kinda evil-ish lol). He was the tyrant/wizard that took control over the kingdoms and he usedto eliminate eneryone who stood in his way, having evil agents all over the placeand that kind of stuff; so he was pretty evil. But after a few years of writingsome RPs with him and making new canon stuff, he slowly evolved to the awkwarduncle who wants to adopt everyone and everybody loves, so he made 180º changelol . He still looks kinda evil, but he is a cinnamon roll that will fight andbring the pain on everyone who dares to hurt his loved ones.

*And when I created Aislinn I justjumped to the train of Dragon Age to Hell,  and I didn’t have a really specific idea abouther design, I just checked all the settings while I was making the inquisitor’sface and rolled with it, at the end I was like ‘oh, this elf looks cute’ andduring all the game I kinda developed her personality based on her dialogue choicesor shenanigans that happened when I was lost during the side quests XD27.What kind ofchildhood did your character have?

* Wolfget was from a wealthy family thatare owners of a wineyard, he was home-schooled until he came to his magic, hedidn’t have many friends, after he came to his magic he had a few problems withhis family (specially from his mother side) they started to isolated him andmaking some discriminative comments (they were like ‘magic?! Gross!!’), soWolfget tried to focus on his studies and his piano lessons; trying to not tothink about it too much about it, fortunately his father was able to help him alittle bit and was able to send him to a good ‘school of magic’, saying therest of the family that he went to ‘study abroad’.  He grduated and returned home in his lateteens, after that he started a new chapter in his life.  But that is another whole story.

*Aislinn’s childchood in her clan was relativelycalm, not many problems on her way,  sureshe didn’t have a lot of stuff when she was growing up because they traveled alot as a nomad clan, but she understood pretty quickly and just enjoyed themoment playing in the forest with other children or with the hallas; she wasn’ta troublemaker compared to other children, so everyone on the clan adored her,she learned the ways of the hunter while growing up, from time to time she hada burst of curiosity of learning about humans, but making some trades withmerchants once in a while was enough to settle her curiosity and focus her onthe responsibilities of the clan.31.What is their mosttraumatic memory/experience? What is their favorite memory?

* -After Wolfget got resolved theproblems with his inhetitance; his life became somewhat peaceful, then he metthis woman she looked like the perfect girlfriend, she was intelligent,charismatic and great knowledge about magic, after not so long they got married,but then she started to act weird,  andstarted to happen a lot of weird things (magic stuff getting weird, thatdoesn’t end good) lots of tension started to happen between Wolfget and her,long story short, she was from an evil coven that only wanted to use him andhis magic for her interests like dark rituals and that kind of stuff. The woman made a deal with a demon inthe past, so she turned into an abomination and faced him, so he and other magefriend had to battle her and then kill her,  before this whole incident Wolfget reallyloved her wife, so he felt used and with very low self-worth, he really didn’t careabout anything after that,  he was reallydepressed, a big mess, he started to drink trying to forget the pain, it was areally a bad moment for him.

-The curious thing is that event leadsto his favorite memory, one day he passed out after a day of drinking, and whenhe woke up in the morning, he was in a stranger’s house and he was reallyweirded out, wondering how the hell he got there. That’s when he met Nephneeand her little son Rhys.

Nephnee told him that Rhys found him onthe street; and suprisinly for Wolfget, Rhys used some kind of magic ofteleportation and took him home. Despite Wolfget’s protests, Nephnee took careof him until he was in a good health and since Rhys was  really hyperactive child, he took over all ofWolfget’s attention with all his questions, chats and pranks.

Then Wolfget decided to stay for a while,he felt that he had to repay them in some way for all their help and kindness,he lived with them for a few months while he teached Rhys the proper ways ofuse his abilities, of course he payed for his expenses. After some time, hestarted to develop a really good relationship with Nephnee, he also started tohave feelings for her, but he panicked and didn’t say anything about it  because he thought it would looks like it wasjust an infatuation caused by the prior grieving; so he restrained of saying anythinguntil he figured out his feelings: Welp in conclusion he really got very fondof them and he will cherish and support them in anyway he can, becausepractically they saved his life and helped him to overcome that time ofgrieving.

*- I think the mosttraumatic memory for Aislinn is when she ran away from her clan and went tolive with her aun and uncle in the alienage, but when she arrived she foundthat they were getting killed by some chevaliers, she was able to save hercousin Mäns, but it was too late for Mäns’ parents, after that they returned tothe clan. After the Inquisition I think the most horrible thing she experiencedwas when the squad went to The Fade and fought the Nightmare, that wasn’t awalk on the park.

-I think Aislinn’s favorite memoriesare the ones that are made on the camps, after a very long and hard day traveling or battling red templars,demons and venatori agents, a quiet time with her friends in front of the fire,watching the stars or telling stories, or if the bae is around hehe C:, spendingthe days off doing anything, reading books or simply talking about anything,she wouldn’t change those memories for anything.

40.Your character isgetting ready for a night out. Where are they going? What do they wear? Whowill they be with?

*Wolfget is a boring adult, so hedoesn’t do any wild night outs, probably the nights out would be most likegoing to the theater, concerts, auction events o going for dinner. He wouldusually be out in dates with Nephnee, or in other occasions with Rhys and Thaistoo C:. I think his dress code would be from casual/elegant to fancy, dependingthe ocassion.

*Aislinn doesn’t do a lot of fancystuff, maybe if is something with the bae, maybe a surprise dinner under thestars, maybe a romantic stroll through the nature, if is a going out withfriends, maybe it’s just hanging out at the tavern drinking or playing wickedgrace while telling fun stories . She doesn’t have a lot of fancy outfits (shesuffers if she has to think about outfits. Dorian, Vivienne and Josephine hadto help her to chose an outfit for the Winter Palace), maybe she only use somethingwarm and comfortable.

41.What does yourcharacter do when they’re angry? Why?

*Welp Wolfget is grumpy by nature, sothere is a whole system to see when he is in a good mood or when he is reallyangry, he usually gets angry because he loses his patience lol, when is a minorthing  he just starts to have a tic onhis eye, but when he is really angry he just starts to yell and bickering aboutthe stuff that is making him angry or he just throw you out of the room (begrateful the he didn’t throw you to the hounds lol ) XD

*Aislinn usually bottles up when she isangry and usually tries to look only stressed, but when she can’t take itanymore , she just explodes and vents all her anger on the thing that is makingher angry, only that happened on Trespasser. Everyone was very terrified ofbeing that angry.42.Does your characterhave any scars? Where did they get them from?

*Wolfget only has a tiny scar on thebottom lip that happened in the battle when he widowed, it really doesn’tnotice very much unless you look very closely.

*Aislinn has several scars on her body,the most notorious ones are the one on her forehead and other one on her leftside of the mouth, she got those when she saved Mäns from the chevaliers. SinceAislinn was a hunter and she joined the Inquisition and having a lot of battles,I think it’s bound to happen to have many scars, some of them are scars fromarrows on her shoulders and arms, or blade scars on her torso, arms and legs.

44.How does yourcharacter react/ accept criticism?

*As long that is a constructivecriticism Wolfget is willing to listen and maybe considering what you’resaying. There might be a little bit of aprehension and debate about the issue,but he is willing to hear your criticism. But if it’s just shallow criticism,he will shut you out before you notice it, (pray before he release the hounds)he undured a lot of criticism in his life so he is so done with that.

*In case of Aislinn, as long thecriticism is for improve in anyway her work or the Inquisition, she is prettyoppen to accept all the coments and feedback because that way she can improve.

If it’s just criticism against herperson just because she is an elf, she’ll just ignore them or if they’re saynganything way out the line she’ll make them shut up with white glove,re-directing the criticism against them with arguments and make them thinkbefore they say any more despicable things.
