PLZ talk more about the way the other egos think of Jackie even though he's away if you want to my fren!!!!!!! do any of them feel pressure to make this whole "living in a house and being friends" thing work because that's what Jackie wanted for them? who misses him the most? do any of them feel unsafe without him around?

well like henriks already the designated Mom Friend so he kind of takes it upon himself to be the new big brother of the group and tries keeping order the best he can (which includes yanking on marv and chases ears when they have arguments and chewing them out, while also being intensely concerned about marvin and jameson’s health and recovery). and he kind of just stamps down a lot of his anxiety over jackie being gone and tries rationalizing it like ‘i know jackie hes very capable of handling himself on his own and i trust him’ but at the same time hes worried as FUCK but feels like he cant talk about it with chase to make him more upset. so he just keeps pretending everythings fine to try and bring a sense of stability to such an unstable situation, while he goes off and cries his eyes out in jackies room cause he misses him so much.

henny’s always been worried about jackie though, even when he was home –”when is jackie coming home from his patrol? is he hurt? did he do something stupid? is he okay? is he sad? is he having delusions again? is he having hallucinations again that he isnt telling me? is he feeling sad? did he remember to take his medicine today? what if he doesnt come home? what if hes in trouble and i cant save him in time?” henrik and jackie have always been super super close and having him gone is just tearing henrik apart especially. and theres a little guilty part to him too, cause jackie told him when he got back from anti’s that he was gonna find that glitch and tear him to shreds cause of what he did to his little brother, and hes scared that jackie wont come home and it’ll be all his fault.

chase is kind of the same, he keeps justifying to himself that jackies gonna be okay because he HAS to be okay, chase has lost too much to lose his big brother. hes the more resentful one out of the two, cause he depended so much on jackie and now that hes gone he has to deal with poor jameson and marvin and henrik all on his own, and it wouldnt be so frustrating and hard on him if he had jackie at his side. henriks insistent that they at least try to be friends, they all belong to jack and they all need each other for support, and yeah he would bring up that it would be what jackie would’ve wanted but chase…..he just has a hard time trying to be like jackie. he doesnt have the amount of compassion and kindness that he had, and even though henrik tries to be there for everyone, its just not the same

and marvin……hes so fucking depressed about it. not like how henrik and chase are though. marvs spent a lot of his life trying to distance himself from jack and his family, but hes always had a bit of a connection to jackie. he doesnt remember much the first few months of his creation, but he does remember his big brother loving him and taking care of him even though he was incredibly sick. and so he always told himself that maybe hed stop running if jackie came back into his life, he misses him so much. but he doesnt even get that cause jackies out doing his duty for jack and now all he has is some old grumpy german guy and some depressed dad who does NOT like him and hes like well. fuck me i guess. and literally if jackie were there then maybe he’d be more open to the idea of being a family, but he isnt and so hes just gonna keep driving everyone away, cause he literally doesnt fucking care about anyone except his jackie

and as we’ve established jamie probably wouldn’t really know how to feel. i dont think he’d care too much either, until a lot later when henrik talks about him more and he sees how much he means to hen and chase. he might have this very positive impression of him though, just in the way everyone talks about him. and it might even make him a little sad, the fact that this good kind brave hero is keeping anti away from his family. away from him. hes been so separated from the other egos he doesnt think that jackie would be attached to him like he is everyone else, and is afraid that he might even be resentful towards him that hes keeping anti at bay because of him. jackie probably wouldnt even like him when they finally meet, hes the puppet of his worst enemy, why would he love him?
