I'm not sure when it'll all end.

They say being used to pain wasn't possible, you just adapt to it. Have I adapted the pain yet? Or is it just preparing for another cut across my face?

I look horrible.

It was all just fanfiction, words on a screen on a a dark night. A moon so close I could almost mistake it for a hospital light. Fantasy isn't all about magic and different races of life.

A gash on my knee? 10:00 AM

Food poisoning? 12:00 PM

A group of pursuers? 4:00 PM

Sighting of a familiar face? 6:00 PM

An open wound in my abdomen? 8:00 PM

A ding? Bedtime.

...I think.

Every time I wake up, my wounds are healed so that they can return once more.
