roommate scara who insists he cooks for u almost every day even when its ur turn, and if u bring it up hes says ur cooking is shit so he HAS to >:( but really he just like watching u eat something he worked hard on !! he wont admit he was up late looking up recipes that include things u like, and all the practice dishes he made before he perfected it 🥺🥺 god forbid u go out w friends one day and say u already ate </3

when u throw something out in your compost bin you catch sight of all the nasty burnt shit in there LOL. he’s a little chef with scattered notes, stained with oils and sauces, crossing out and rewriting measurements… he’s rolled up his sleeves, a tight apron around his waist. maybe he even wears a headband while he stands over the stove to keep the hair out of his face. he makes last minute grocery store trips as secretive as a spy… suspicious guy. he wants to know you’re eating well. maybe he finds it hard to be direct or open with how he feels, but his actions speak for him. and selfishly, he needs to hear your praise. he’ll wave it away with a hand, saying “it’s just leftovers” or “the stuff to make it was just laying around…” but he has such a hard time keeping a blush off his face while he fiddles with the sleeves of his sweater, looking down at the floor.
