Today marks one year that Abran and I have been together although he's been my best friend and supporter for far longer. To some, it may seem like a short amount of time, but together we've managed to go through Basic Training, AIT, an ongoing deployment, and nearly three years of school. Despite the distance, he's managed to love me completely for who I am and has encouraged me to be the woman I want to be in the future. He sticks by my side through all the messy and crappy days that distance sometimes creates and somehow manages to make me laugh and smile when no one else can. He's my best friend and I find more ways to love him and be more proud of him every day. He puts up with my sass which is sometimes not an easy feat and even laughs at my lame jokes. He motivates me to accomplish my goals and gives me the self-confidence to finish what I've started. When you meet the right person, you just know it. They're your best friend and your soul mate. No one and nothing else can compare. I cannot wait to see you soon Abran and I love you so much
