u kno things r bad when i start Seriously Considering a certain career path heavily suggested 2 me in my Youth that i had since sworn off lol help
#iykyk#im just feelin a teensy bit full of despair abt my future career prospects lol nbd nbd its cool#not like im in the last term of a 2 yr program geared 2wards an aspect of this field i have negative interest in (software development)#knew i shouldve accepted the computer systems technician program instead of computer programming :(#but the federal govt job opportunities r uhhhh so much better with cp that cst...#not that i currently feel AT ALL confident in actually GETTING one of those jobs after graduating :/ hence the post above#i just intensely desperately Do Not Ever want 2 work in private industry in anything IT or IS related :///#im sure theres public service jobs in things related 2 IT that arent the parts ive grown 2 hate based on my limited exposure thru college#idk guess im just feeling. insecure :/#idk why i tagged this 'iykyk' theres like exactly 1 of u who is gonna have potentially any idea abt what im talking abt lol#but i AM judging myself heavily enough 2 necessitate vagueness. even my career research is being done on incognito mode lmao#heaven forbid i spend the next 6 months getting related targeted ads like the last time i did this research 2 remind myself why i#decided not 2 pursue that career option#ive already nearly got 2 fullass fucking college diplomas how can i still be this directionless#why couldnt i have gotten my shit 2gether like 10 yrs earlier so i couldve gone 2 university and had this same crisis but w/ better options#im 24 and when i was working full time i hated it and missed school and granted my current retail/warehouse job sucks ass like objectively#but ever since i went back 2 school in sept 2020 ive hated it and just want 2 work n have a career instead :///#but now that the Having A Career thing is (hopefully?) not that far off im all fucked up abt argghghhg#i just want a mon-fri 40hr work week w/ decent drug and dental coverage and i defined benefit pension plan!!#i wanna do my 35 yrs of work n retire at 60!!! why is this apparently asking too much :(
