gen krp isn't that big, and it's not like us to bother sending an anon about shit like this either. // sorry, what? genuinely curious because gen is like the tumor of the krp community, it's actually quite massive and dominates in terms of active rps. oc/au has only just recently had its popularity rebirth in krp. as for the second part of this sentence, and you can argue with me on this all you want, gen is the main source of drama on these blogs and the main source of anon asks. if you exclude the current talk about paradigm/insidious/rupes, or even exclude talks about more brief rps like killingdaze and a couple of themeless oc rps, the main talks across various vent blogs over the years have been comprised of names like: hot sugar/heatwaves (still gen despite the twist), connect/soleil, jellymart, oui, joyland/ditto, stellae, stardrop, starsalign, megabyte, kitsch/smiley/poppy, wasteland, rollercoaster, boynextdoor/prettyboy/limitless, feverdream, planetarium, etc. not saying oc/au doesn't have its drama and issues, and i'm not saying those topics can't dominate vent blogs at times, but i've seen a couple of anons on here saying gen rpers straight up don't care about drama but that's the furthest thing from the truth. unless i'm reading those asks wrong, then feel free to correct me.

WRONG! krp has a bad reputation because of immaturity, bullying / toxicity. // you're actually wrong. go look through the anti-krp tag from a few years ago. krp has a problem with fetishization and racism. like why exactly is a rp like heatwave ONLY for korean fcs or people connected to the industry? its like being anyone else in the rp that isnt a kpop idol could break some fantasy. no one has a problem with krp faceclaims, just the type of people in krps...

as a trans person who is in heatwaves i don’t see an issue with a/b/o! it’s not inherently transphobic—in MY opinion. don’t worry, i recognize that we all have our own views and experiences and yes, a/b/o literature has a shady past. but also i think people want to drag heatwaves down as a rp with this concept because they see people having fun, and krp has turned into a cycle of negativity.

Hi, anon! When we say 'not a full au,' we mean we stuck our RP somewhere between an AU and a Gen RP. They're not full OCs with differnet names and occupations, etc. as most AUs, but it's also not strictly Gen. Think of it as a Gen AU with idols and other celebrities that are living in an omegaverse world as shifters. That's pretty much it! Personality should reflect as close as possible to the personality to the claim you wish to portray. Obviously we don't know what goes on in the actual lives of these celebrities, we just ask writers do their best and be respectful in their portrayals. ❤️

i had a question about your age gap guideline. do you count a muse's age from the birth year or the current age of the muse?

hi, anon! this rule is based on how old they are currently, but if someone has a birthday that pushes that gap we can let a few months slide. this rule is mainly to keep our members comfortable and not create any strong power imbalances in the relationships!

in regard to the female muse issue at heatwaves… you know you can actually still be friends with bi, pan, and gay men, right? some of you are so weirdly homophobic and dismissive if a male muse doesn’t want to fuck yours, it’s balls to the wall insane. // what is insane is that people really think there can be a comparison between females that don't identify themselves as hetero vs the males. krp is full, completely gathered and made for all kpop girlies that want to believe their oppa is dating their member or someone he exchanged a look with. do you realize how stupid you sound? even in the rp you are, have you noticed the amount of men (that also like men) compared to females who like girls? hell, even most of the "omeg@s" are bi/gay and they're male. while female characters that like girls have like four, five people they can be with, all men have dozens. even in other gen rps, it's just a matter of you counting how many girls there are compared to how many men. stop with the excuses and telling girls they're asking for too much just for doing what you do too: talk to other members.
