Venus and her mother have a not so normal relationship, but they both always do everything for Leo, her baby brother who has autism (not known as that at the time in the book). . The book is written in parts - and the timeline goes from 1980 to 1986, - and because of that you can actually see everyone’s point of view and understand their actions. . I wish I could tell you much about it, but I can’t go on many details since every single one of them is part of something big on this story and it’s what makes this book so fantastic. . I’m really emotive post this story. I feel like I wasn’t totally ready for what happened in the book, like, there was so many feelings in it: frustration, sadness, anger, loss, rebound, forgiveness, understanding, happiness and finally love. . Sometimes I have to go 2 or 3 chapters to finally feel engaged to it, but this one I was captivated by the very first line of the prologue. . — 𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒔𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅. .
