The fact that anybody could feel so entitled to somebody’s sexuality, somebody they don’t even know, is and forever will be astonishing to me. Especially since some of these people are queer! I know I’m a little late to talk about this( I was taking a very loooong internet break) but still, wtf is wrong with people. He clearly wasn’t ready to talk about this part of him, and he should have been given the amount of time HE need to come out, he shouldn’t have been forced to do something this important and scary just because somebody wants him to. It’s cry shame, and messed up in so many ways.

I'd love to put together a book rec list!! I don't know how I'll ever limit myself in this but I'll try! These aren't necessarily in order, but some are definitely my top recommendations!

well first and foremost, top book is definitely

the song of achilles - madeline miller

it's a beautiful and heartwrenching book and the language is just gorgeous! It's also queer, which will be a theme that's going to continue

another top, well trilogy this time, is

the Simon snow trilogy - Rainbow Rowell

they are just wonderful books, the story is great, it's gay enemies to lovers and one of them is a vampire, what's not to love? Really they're so goddamn good, i can't recommend them all enough.

another great book, which is also a book series but for now i'll just recommend the first one since i'm stuck in the middle of the second one

this poison heart - kalynn bayron

I really really enjoyed reading this book. The protagonist is wonderful to follow and it's very immersive.

okay another trilogy. it's been a few years since I read this one but i remember them being very good.

Det blå blod - Søren Jessen

as you probably noticed, the title is in danish, and i did read it in danish but I'm pretty sure there's an English translation! It's definitely probably more young adult than the others. They're written by Søren Jessen who is a danish author I've had the pleasure of having a cup of coffee and talking about art with! He's a lovely lovely man and I have one of his books with a little message from him wishing me luck on future art endeavors:,)

this book is the most recent one i read, and it was great!

Radio silence - Alice Oseman

This book is about a bisexual girl who's on tumblr, i think that says enough! Great book!!

the next one here, someone actually stopped me today because i was wearing little earring versions of it and they'd recognized the book and that was all in all a very lovely situation so that adds to the experience of this book afwbjk

red, white and royal blue - Casey Mcquiston

It's another gay enemies to lovers and I mean, it just works, it really does. this is definitely a top recommendation, i love this book so much and i remember when reading it i had such a hard to time putting it down. whenever i did put it down i was still thinking about it until i picked it up again!

now LAST up this is very different from the rest because it's not fiction

Genet - Siddhartha Mukherjee ('The gene' in english)

It's a book about genetics (i think that's the English translation, bare with me my English doesn't reach this far) and it's just super interesting and well-written. Fair warning I'm not done with it as it is 600 pages and it is occasionally heavy to read, but it's still good and I'd definitely recommend it if you have any sort of interest in genes and their history!
