“Tim is so manipulative, it's awful. Always using his status as "father" to get Amy to do things for him that she disagrees with. (like gentling a wild horse in a few days instead of a few months) It's selfish and I hate it when he's rewarded for his behaviour. “

“If Amy can’t accept Ty the way he is and is trying to turn into something he’s not I think Cassandra would be a better match for him. He’s not a cowboy so Amy better stop trying to turn him into one!”

Chinatown’s Sai Woo Set To Host 2nd Evening Of ‘Woo Talks’ On Tuesday, April 26th
Vancouver, BC | With the end of the month nearing, Sai Woo is gearing up for another Evening of Woo Talks. On Tuesday, April 26 at 6pm, Sai Woo will play host to an evening of enlightening conversation for the fourth Woo Talk of the year.
An Evening of Woo Talks is a monthly speaker series hosted by personal development coach David Frank Gomes on the last Tuesday of each month in Sai Woo’s downstairs lounge. Woo is an intimate evening of short talks, ranging from 5-15 minutes in length, followed by thoughtful discussion. The goal is to facilitate the sharing of ideas and build meaningful connections between participants. The Woo Talks have been a rousing success since they began in January and last month’s evening was a sold out affair that drew a lively crowd.
The April Woo Talk will again bring together a group of engaging speakers, including local actor Graham Wardle. Widely known as Ty Borden from the CBC’s record-breaking TV success Heartland, Graham is a BC-boy born and raised, and a graduate of Capilano University’s Motion Picture and Production program. In his short talk Graham will explore society’s understanding of attraction, from both negative and positive ends of the spectrum, and discuss how we manage these desires.
Graham Wardle will join artist Angela Fama and host David Frank Gomes on stage. Fama’s talk introduces the Japanese concept of Wabisabi, a way of living that focuses on finding beauty in life’s natural imperfections. Her talk will draw from her experiences travelling across North America for her photography project WHAT IS LOVE. Gomes will discuss finding direction and accepting life’s natural course of events in his talk titled Path.
Woo Talks are technology free events and participants are encouraged to completely disconnect from their devices in order to be present in the moment. The same goes for the speakers who do not rely on slideshows or computer-generated presentations to communicate with guests. Instead, each talk is accompanied by an object, which the speaker has brought for the audience to interact with. A thought-provoking question is posed at the end of each talk to invite the audience to delve deeper into the subject matter through group discussion.
Tickets include admission, a glass of wine and either the chicken or vegetarian Sai Woo rice bowl for dinner. So join Sai Woo on Tuesday, April 26 for the fourth Woo Talk of the season and be part of the conversation.
