I am a firm believer that if you spend a little more than average up front, and minimally after to maintain supplies that inevitably run out-you can save money elsewhere. It is still mandated that we have to have dental and health insurance, why not keep yourself healthy as much as you can, and minimize the specialists bill?

So this set up is $150-$200 up front and $25+ / per month to maintain. Supplies then routine:
Supplies:
Poseidon Irrigator & Sonic Toothbrush (Tool)
Flosser (Tool)
Timer (Tool)
Mouth guard (Tool)
Travel Brush/Floss (Tool/Supply)
Charcoal Toothpaste (Supply)
Oral Rinse (Supply)
Flosser Refill (Supply)
Whitening Pen (Supply)
I like getting all of these on Amazon, only for the fact that trying to find things in person in a growing digital world is getting harder and harder. You can find something one time, and the next they don’t have stock or they stopped selling it? It is a sad reflection of the times, but I would prefer to have it saved and reliably found online. There are lots of brands that offer all of these things, the only brand I have noted per my routine is Poseidon. I like it, even if it is a smidgen expensive-there’s two heads so its great for a couple to share a toothbrush sanitarily.
Routine:
AM: 1. Irrigator 2. Floss 3. Brush with Timer 4. Mouthwash 5. Teeth Whitening Pen
Afternoon: Travel Brush/Floss after eating lunch
PM:  1. Irrigator 2. Floss 3. Brush with Timer 4. Mouthwash 5. Teeth Whitening Pen 6. Sleep with Mouth Guard
I myself like to use a toothpaste that has a morning and evening formula to it, as there are different sub agendas as far as teeth hygiene goes in the morning vs at night. I also have to say, good care goes a long way but never be your own dentist. If you need one, go to one. Otherwise, happy brushing y’all!
