FINALLY It is as if so much had happened
It is the last day of November as I write this. Today I went out biking again for the third time this month. I met two black cats along the way — I saw the first one a few yards away from our house and the second one when I was going home. Most people believe that they’re bad omen but I think it’s the other way around. That’s why I’ve always wanted to adopt one and I’m happy that I did this year.
November offered me something different. After spending the past eight months in complete isolation, I finally went out a few times this month, of course following all the safety precautions and pandemic protocols. I also did it for my mental health. I’ve been very honest about my own monsters and how darkness sometimes get the best of me, and I think it is about time to live life a little.
--
The happenings:
i. One early morning of this month, I went out biking and saw this old stand-alone cinema house in my hometown. It was closed for a long time now but it will always be special to me because this is where I first saw a film on the big screen. Also, this is where my late dad, also a film lover, would always bring me for us to watch movies together. I remember how annoyed he would become for I always want to watch the movie twice (yes, that’s allowed before) and had no choice but to watch it again with me.
ii. Finally, I also had the chance to see the half of my heart for the first time after the lockdown. We spent the whole day together like how we usually do back then. And hell yes, it all seemed like everything was in their perfect places again, as if everything’s back to normal and we’re not living in a doomed world. Heaven knows how much I have missed him so bad (and still missing him as of writing). A borrowed time, I may say — but I am fucking happy.
--
That’s what I recently learned: I spent this year waiting, but I don’t really know what it is I’ve been waiting for. I put my life on hold, my dreams on pause, and my purpose in this world unknown for like the whole year. But then I realized what if this is really the new normal? What if I need to move now? Will I just isolate myself from all the things that make me happy too?

Are you planning to visit London post covid? Then it would be best if you visited these places in Ilford.
The world has evidenced the biggest pandemic which had a massive impact on many people all around the world. But that doesn't stop people from surviving from the challenges in their daily life, provided they take the maximum precaution. Now, it's time to move on and live to the fullest but make sure you are making yourself secure from the pandemic.
So, as we can see, the businesses have started working, the industries have started running chimneys, and people started their daily routines with a positive attitude by taking care of themselves. Many of them have cancelled their travelling trips in the last few months and are scheduling their next trips in the upcoming months. But now people mostly plan their trip based on the events or occasions being celebrated in the places where they would like to visit.
If you are planning to travel to London, make sure you visit these amazing places which we are going to discuss further. But it is recommended that there are different guidelines, advice and timescales for reopening tourism. So, it is better to respect and follow government guidance on social distancing and also lockdown measures for some particular regions that are provided by the respective nation, because safety is the utmost priority, especially during these times.
Here are few places in Ilford you must visit, provided it is under government guidelines to visit:
Valentines Park: This place is amazing with ornate landscaped gardens, and it is one of the largest formal parks in Ilford.
Fairlop Waters: Fairlop Waters is one of the biggest and wonderful Country Parks in Redbridge. It has a wide range of facilities for visitors such as fishing lakes, golf courses, windsurfing, delightful Indian restaurants and many more.
Ilford lane: Ilford Lane is a fantastic place to explore and shop. This place gives a complete shopping experience which is way distinct from the malls and high street. People can easily afford a minicab in Ilford and explore this place for shopping.
I-Scene Complex: I-Scene Complex is the most loved by many people as it is hosted by everyone from local Indians to the big shots. People can enjoy ten-pin bowling along with Bollywood Grill restaurant. For food lovers, there is a wide range of Authentic and delicious Indian food along with Live entertainment during the weekends.
Kenneth More Theatre: Here stands the Kenneth More Theater, named after the very much cherished British entertainer who passed away in 1982. He's best-associated with his appearances in the well known British films Genevieve (1953), Doctor in the House (1954) for which he won a BAFTA grant, and Reach for the Sky (1956). This is a splendid nearby theatre and a wide scope of gatherings perform here.
Bottom Line:
Travelling helps in boosting our mind and soul and also helps in building our confidence.
So, schedule your next travel plan and most importantly take necessary precaution with respect to your health. If you are visiting Ilford in London for the first time, you can hire cab services in Ilford, or you can even go for minicabs services with Redbridge Radio Cars Services and make your travelling more comfortable and hassle-free.
