   Hearing a voice tell her not to get up; of course she tried to get up. Eyes rolling back and blinking wide, she tried to see who it was there. 

                “Lucifer, I don’t,” Her hand came up to her head, hissing when she felt tender. Looking at her finger tips, she saw blood. “What happened?”

Linda huffed, shaking her hand from the paper cut on her hand from the file folder, which hurt like a bitch actually. "Honestly, it's fine! It's just a paper cut!" She argued, even though she would have to bandage it so she didn't bleed on anything.

It wasn’t the first time Michael woke up after the operations and procedures, but it was the first time he was truly aware of it, the first time that he didn’t slip into sleep again only a few seconds later. The first thing he noticed was the fog that dulled a sharp pain he could feel at the edge of his senses, the painkillers kept it at bay though and right now he just felt drowsy. Then there was Charity’s hand in his, but she was deeply asleep and looked like she needed it. He dragged his eyes away from his wife and noticed the other person in the room. A young man with long black hair - he looked entirely normal, but something told Michael he was here for a reason. The same kind of feeling he tended to get before going on a Job.

“Oxygen? Uh...no, I can survive in hard vacuum. Mars should be fine. Why are we going to Mars...?”

To be honest, Riella didn’t need a reason to go to Mars--it was a planet she’d never been to and that was reason enough to go--but not-quite-human possibly-cosmic-forces didn’t call her for important trips every day. That was unexpected.
