Witchcraft magical correspondences refer to the associations made between various objects, substances, times, and events with specific magical effects or purposes. These correspondences have deep historical roots and derive from a blend of multiple sources, including ancient alchemy, early science, cultural symbolism, religious beliefs, and intentionality.
Ancient Alchemy
Alchemy, the precursor to modern chemistry, played a significant role in shaping magical correspondences. Alchemists sought to understand the mysteries of matter and the transformation of substances, often imbuing their experiments with spiritual and mystical significance. For example, the seven classical planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) were associated with specific metals (gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin, and lead, respectively). These associations were believed to reflect the planets’ influences on earthly matters and human affairs. Alchemical texts also explored the relationships between colors, elements, and spiritual principles, influencing the development of magical correspondences in witchcraft.
Ancient alchemy holds a significant place in the history of science, philosophy, and mystical traditions, influencing various fields and practices, including witchcraft. The importance of ancient alchemy can be understood through its contributions to the development of modern science, its philosophical and spiritual dimensions, and its enduring influence on magical and esoteric traditions.
The Great Work (Magnum Opus): Central to alchemy is the concept of the Great Work, which symbolizes the alchemist’s quest for spiritual and material transformation. This process involves the purification and perfection of substances, often mirroring the alchemist’s inner spiritual journey toward enlightenment and self-realization.
Symbolism and Allegory: Alchemical texts are rich in symbolism and allegory, using metaphors to convey complex philosophical and spiritual concepts. Symbols such as the philosopher’s stone, the ouroboros (a serpent eating its own tail), and the four elements (earth, air, fire, water) encapsulate profound ideas about the nature of reality, transformation, and the interconnectedness of all things.
Hermetic Tradition: Alchemy is closely associated with Hermeticism, a philosophical and spiritual tradition based on the writings attributed to Hermes Trismegistus. Hermetic principles, such as “As above, so below” and the unity of opposites, permeate alchemical thought and emphasize the correspondence between the macrocosm (the universe) and the microcosm (the individual).
Magical Correspondences: Alchemical principles and symbols have been integrated into various magical and esoteric traditions. The associations between planets, metals, and elements in alchemy have become foundational correspondences in many forms of magic and witchcraft.
Transmutation and Transformation: The alchemical goal of transmutation, particularly the transformation of base metals into gold, has a symbolic counterpart in magical practices. This idea of transformation is applied to personal growth, healing, and the manifestation of desires through magical means.
Ritual and Practice: Alchemical rituals, with their focus on purification, transformation, and the attainment of higher states of being, have influenced the structure and content of magical rituals. The use of specific substances, tools, and processes in alchemy has parallels in magical workings, emphasizing the transformation of both the practitioner and the environment.
Alchemy in the Renaissance: During the Renaissance, alchemy experienced a revival as scholars and practitioners sought to integrate ancient wisdom with emerging scientific knowledge. Figures like Paracelsus and John Dee contributed to the development of alchemical thought, blending it with medicine, astrology, and early chemistry.
Psychological Alchemy: In the 20th century, Carl Jung, a prominent psychologist, explored alchemy as a metaphor for psychological processes. Jung’s interpretation of alchemical symbolism as representing the individuation process—the integration of the conscious and unconscious mind—brought new insights into the relevance of alchemy for personal development and psychotherapy.
Contemporary Practice: Today, alchemy continues to inspire both scientific inquiry and spiritual exploration. Modern alchemists, both literal and symbolic, seek to uncover the hidden principles of transformation in nature and the self. The enduring appeal of alchemy lies in its holistic approach, integrating material, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of existence.
Early Science and Natural Philosophy
Early scientific observations and natural philosophy also contributed to the development of magical correspondences. Ancient and medieval scholars often categorized the natural world into elements (earth, air, fire, and water) and humors (blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile), each with specific qualities and effects. These classifications were used to explain natural phenomena and human health, and they found their way into magical practices. For instance, herbs and stones were categorized based on their perceived elemental qualities, and their uses in magic were aligned with these characteristics.
Cultural Symbolism and Mythology
Cultural symbolism and mythology provided another rich source of correspondences. Different cultures imbued animals, plants, colors, and objects with symbolic meanings based on their myths, legends, and folklore. For instance, the oak tree was sacred to many ancient European cultures and associated with strength and protection, while the owl, often seen as a symbol of wisdom in Greek mythology, became associated with knowledge and divination in magical practices. These symbolic associations were passed down through generations and integrated into the magical correspondences of witchcraft.
Religious Beliefs and Practices
Religious beliefs and practices also shaped magical correspondences. Many magical traditions borrowed from the rituals and symbols of dominant religious practices in their regions. In Western Europe, for instance, Christian symbols and saints were often syncretized with older pagan deities and symbols. The use of incense, candles, and specific prayers or chants in magic often mirrors religious rituals, emphasizing the importance of intentionality and spiritual alignment in magical workings.
Intentionality and Personal Experience
The role of intention and personal experience cannot be overlooked in the development of magical correspondences. Practitioners of witchcraft often develop their own associations based on personal experiences, intuition, and the results of their magical workings. This process of individual experimentation and reflection allows for a dynamic and evolving system of correspondences that can vary between different traditions and practitioners. The intention behind the use of a correspondence is believed to be a critical factor in its effectiveness, highlighting the importance of the practitioner’s focus and purpose.
Synthesis and Evolution
Over time, these diverse influences have synthesized into the rich tapestry of magical correspondences used in witchcraft today. Texts such as the “Key of Solomon,” “The Picatrix,” and various grimoires have codified many of these correspondences, while modern practitioners continue to adapt and expand them based on contemporary understanding and practice. The integration of psychological insights, ecological awareness, and cross-cultural exchanges in the modern era further enriches the system of correspondences, making it a living and evolving aspect of witchcraft.
No single person or group decided these correspondences; rather, they evolved organically through the accumulated wisdom and practices of different cultures. Here are some key influences and sources:
Ancient Civilizations
Egyptians: Ancient Egyptian priests and magicians developed extensive knowledge of correspondences. They believed that everything in nature was interconnected and that specific plants, stones, and symbols held particular powers. Their practices were recorded in texts like the Ebers Papyrus and various temple inscriptions.
Greeks and Romans: The Greeks and Romans contributed significantly to the development of correspondences, particularly through the work of philosophers and physicians like Hippocrates, Theophrastus, and Pliny the Elder. Their writings on herbalism, astrology, and natural philosophy helped establish connections between natural elements and their supposed properties.
Celts: The Druids of the Celtic world had a deep understanding of nature and used various plants, trees, and natural phenomena in their spiritual and magical practices. Their knowledge was passed down orally and later recorded by Christian monks.
Medieval and Renaissance Europe
Medieval Herbalists and Alchemists: During the Middle Ages, herbalists and alchemists in Europe studied ancient texts and conducted their own experiments. They documented the properties of plants, minerals, and metals in texts like the “Materia Medica” and various grimoires. Alchemical traditions, which sought to transform base materials into higher forms, also contributed to the understanding of correspondences.
Astrology: Medieval and Renaissance astrologers played a significant role in establishing correspondences, particularly through the association of planets with specific days of the week, metals, and plants. The writings of figures like Ptolemy and later Renaissance magicians like Cornelius Agrippa and Paracelsus were influential in this regard.
Eastern Traditions
Chinese Medicine and Taoism: Traditional Chinese medicine and Taoist practices developed a system of correspondences based on the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). These elements were connected to various aspects of life, including organs, emotions, seasons, and directions. The “Huangdi Neijing,” an ancient Chinese medical text, is a key source of this knowledge.
Indian Ayurveda and Hinduism: Ayurvedic medicine and Hindu spiritual practices established correspondences between herbs, gems, times of day, and deities. Texts like the “Atharva Veda” and various Ayurvedic treatises documented these associations.
Modern Influences
Grimoires and Occult Literature: From the Renaissance onward, numerous grimoires (books of magic) compiled and expanded upon earlier correspondences. Notable examples include the “Key of Solomon,” “The Lesser Key of Solomon,” and “The Picatrix.” These texts were influential in shaping modern Western magical practices.
The Golden Dawn and Modern Witchcraft: In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and similar occult organizations synthesized various magical traditions, creating detailed systems of correspondences. Influential figures like Aleister Crowley and Dion Fortune contributed to this synthesis. In the mid-20th century, Gerald Gardner and others who founded modern Wicca drew upon these traditions, further popularizing and systematizing magical correspondences.
Conclusion
Magical correspondences are the result of centuries of observation, experimentation, and synthesis by various cultures and traditions. They were not decided by any single individual or group but evolved over time through the collective wisdom of countless practitioners. Today, they continue to be an essential part of many magical and spiritual practices, providing a framework for understanding and working with the interconnectedness of the natural and spiritual worlds.

Eastern Red Cedar (Essential Herbs for Witches)
*Notes from the Hekate ritual kits that were released October 23'.
Latin name: Juniperus virginiana
Planet: Sun, Saturn
Element: Fire
Parts used: foliage, wood, essential oil
Astrological Association: Leo
Energy: Masculine
Magical properties: Longevity, protection, preservation, strength, wisdom, perseverance, renewal, transformation, balance, connection to the divine through nature, return of stolen goods, defense.
Healing properties: Fever, cough, skin conditions, respiratory issues
Eastern Red Cedar is not actually a true cedar, it’s a juniper, as its latin name, Juniperus virginiana, indicates. Naturalized in Europe, Asia, and North America, Eastern Red Cedar is present in all temperate regions of the northern hemisphere and stretches into parts of the southern hemisphere. This hardy tree has deep roots and tolerates poor rocky soil, salt, heat, and wind, and is drought tolerant.
Medicinally juniper has been used in bathing, sometimes as a scourge, to alleviate rheumatoid arthritis and to relieve depression symptoms and exhaustion. It’s also been used to heal open wounds. Juniper is warming and pungent and affects the liver and kidneys. Its bitter action stimulates the gallbladder and liver and it aids in digestion. Juniper is also used for respiratory issues, urinary tract infections, and skin ailments like psoriasis and eczema. The warming effect of juniper makes it helpful in breaking fevers. Eastern red cedar is an abortifacient and should not be used by pregnant women.
Juniper berries have been used to flavor food, beer, and notably gin, and in Ireland the unripe berries are tinctured with whiskey and used as a general health tonic.
As for juniper’s use in folklore and witchcraft, around the Mediterranean and Aegean seas, it was planted to protect a home from evil spirits and malicious men. It was sometimes built into a new house as a structural beam or to fill cracks between stone to drive away illness and evil spirits. Branches were hung above doors to repel witches.
Because it is an evergreen, it’s also used in fertility rites and the berries are sometimes used as an aphrodisiac.
Shamans in Siberia burned and inhaled the smoke of juniper to induce trance, and because of its high thujone contain, it can indeed induce altered states. Thujone does build in the liver over time so care should be taken to limit smoke inhalation to occasional use.
Burning juniper as a smudge was common in Native American rituals for purification and to cleanse sacred ritual space. Cherokee natives believed that the wood of this cedar held the spirits of their ancestors. In other native ritual practices, it was believed that messages were sent to the Creator when it was burnt ceremonially.
In Scottish folk magic, juniper is used to ‘sain’ livestock and homes during Beltaine and Samhain. Saining is done by lighting bonfires and driving cattle between them. These fires would be lit from sacred Neid fires and extinguished home fires would be relit with this fire. People also hopped over these fires to rid themselves of negative spirits. Juniper (lubhar beinne) was used, and to a lesser extent, mountain ash or rowan (caorran). The cattle byre was sained, and the lintel over the byre was anointed with wine or human urine. Homes were also sained with burning juniper and “in such quantities to fill the whole house with smoke.” Juniper would have also hung at windows to ward off witches and evil spirits and to rid the house of pests and diseases.
According to Scottish folklore, juniper needed to be harvested in a particular way, like all magical plants. It was pulled by the roots, taking 4 branches between 5 fingers while an incantation was repeated. Today we should probably refrain from yanking bushes from the ground and taking a branch or some berries after asking permission should suffice. The branches can be dried and burned or the berries can be burned on a charcoal disc, or dip the branch into sea salted water and sprinkle a bit on yourself and your magical working space.
While we generally think of juniper as a plant of the Sun, it does have older Saturnian associations perhaps because they are very long lived, but maybe also because of their often gnarled wood and spiky foliage, giving them a dark, ominous aspect. Like both yew and cypress trees, Easter red cedar is common in older cemeteries in the southern united states. This may be because its evergreen leaves have come to symbolize ‘eternal life’, but through the ancient Greeks, we have an association with juniper as a plant of Hekate, perhaps because she led the procession of the dead. Through Hekate, it is also associated with Medea, a Hekatean priestess.
I choose to substitute Eastern red cedar for the yews, cypress, and cedar we traditionally see aligned with Hekate because ERC happens to grow in abundance in my bioregion and has a long history of use in sacred rites across the world. Eastern red cedar is a plant of protection and is excellent for banishing, inspiring courage and strength, purification and release.

Blackbeard's Secret
I have a theory that Blackbeard can eat one more than one Devil Fruit because he has a healing factor.
I think he inherited this ability from the Gorgon that appeared in the Boa sisters fake backstory. I think the Gorgon is real. In the lore Gorgon blood can heal and harm.
The conversation between Saturn and Devon implied that he has a special bloodline which is the reason he can eat multiple Devil Fruits. I think his special bloodline is his Gorgon ancestry.
Also Blackbeard knew beforehand that he could eat two Devil Fruits so he had to have a foundation for believing that. My guess is he knows he thought his healing factor would counteract the effect.
Marco pointed out that Blackbeard has an odd body and he is doctor. I think he saw Blackbeard's healing ability in action when examining him.
Blackbeard went after Boa Hancock's power after the Shichibukai were dissolved.
I think he wanted it for sentimental reasons similar to Luffy wanting the Mera Mera no Mi. I think the Gorgon was Blackbeard's grandmother and that her ability to turn people into stone was the ability of the Mero Mero no Mi.
Medusa the most famous Gorgon has a grandson named Geryon who has three heads and I think that is the inspiration from Blackbeard's jolly roger.
It was alleged that Blackbeard had never slept in his life.
Which seems like a tie in to Luffy's statement about snow country people not sleeping while on Drum Island.
Coincidentally Blackbeard attacked Drum Island and it was his first appearance. I think Blackbeard suffered hypothermia on a snow country and his healing factor took away his need for sleep (hypothermia causes sleepiness). Also Drum Island is famous for its doctors and Choppers dream is to cure any disease.
A big hole in my theory is that Blackbeard was poisoned by Magellan and seemingly needed the antidote for it. But it was offscreen so it could be misdirection.

Had to think about this one for a while, 2 1/2 weeks max.
Many games go under the radar from many fans and companies. Many just become forgotten. But thanks to a friend, I’ve experienced a game that I’ve never thought I would enjoy fully. That game is Panzer Dragoon Saga, a game released on the Sega Saturn in 1998. It had a rough development cycle, being made while the Sega Saturn and Sega themselves were spiraling down due to the commercial failure of the Saturn. But thanks to people on the internet, the Sega Saturns Emulation is fully stable as the games rom can be found online.
Panzer Dragoon Saga starts at a dig site in the mountains, while mercenaries are guarding the area. In it they find a Girl surrounded by stone, but not long after they get attacked by their employers while they all get picked off one by one. All but one are alive, a young adult named Edge, after being shot off a cliff, Edge is awoken in ruins surrounded by gray ancient plates. He gets attacked by creatures of a by-gone age but a strange dragon saved you as you escape the ruins, venturing out to get your revenge and save the girl they took.
Right of the bat, you go straight into the gameplay, clean and simple. The only things you have to focus on is your dragon’s HP, SP, and any Status effects it has. There is no equipment like armor and the like, just whatever attachments Edge’s gun you’d like to put on it. To attack you have to use an action gauge (3 bars) to attack with your gun or the dragons’ many attacks. At one point in the game you will have access to many moves that does different kinds of effect to buffing, debuffing, Healing, AOE attacks, Shields, ect. At a certain point in the game the Dragon will be able to transform into 4 other forms, Attack, Agility, Spiritual, and Defense, each form can be chosen by via a slider so you can go either a balance Dragon or go one sided with your dragon.
There are items & intractable objects in the world of PDS so it’s best to explore as much as you can. Honestly it’s recommended due to this games length, it’s only 12 hours long minimum, I’ve personally hit 13 hours due to me just wondering around areas & looking for certain items that can help me with later fights. I recommend looking for items called “D Units”, there are 12 of them in total. I won’t say what they do but it’s a neat bonus for finding them all.
The story and look of Panzer Dragoon Saga are amazing especially its world. The Sega Saturns from what I heard wasn’t the best with 3D compared to N64 & PSX1, but ultimately these environments were amazing to look at. Nothing honestly compared to other games around the time, the detail in certain landscapes were impressive, Granted there are some pop in but it might just has to due to the emulation since it isn’t running on OG hardware. Final Fantasy never did 3D fully mainline till FFX, and Xenogears only did 3D for the environments rather than the character models. PDS does both and it’s insane how a console that can’t do 3D very well processes all of what’s going on screen. Yah, other games like MGS1 & Mario 64 are full 3D but idk for this game it feels different.
The Story isn’t the most ground breaking I’ve witnessed but it’s has some twists that I’ve would’ve not predicted. I won’t say what they were but there were moments where my jaw dropped and I just sat there like “DAWG WHAT!?” Till I went back to processing what I’ve seen. With the story being so short, it’s plot is way more focused than other games after it’s released, which is super refreshing in certain cases. For Edge and Azel being the main characters, they are pretty endearing, they aren’t to crazy as characters but their interactions all the way up to the end of the game fits the game’s end with a nice bow.
Overall, Panzer Dragoon Saga became one of my favorite games of all time. I’ve never had an experience quite like it, but sadly I don’t believe we’ll have something quite like it again. After it’s release, Sega was already setting its sights on the Dreamcast as their financial situation gets worse. While PDS isn’t the sole reason for it, it was non the less not very favorable sales wise. While it’s JP version only produced 100K copies, its US versions only produced 25k and worse its EU version? Only 1,000 copies making it extremely rare in said region. It can sit around for 1,000$ to 2,000$ minimum compleat as parts of it go for 200$ to 300$ and that’s only for the US. Due to the restructuring Sega was doing they disbanded Team Andromeda and folded them into Smilebit. Thankfully the game did get a sequel in the form of Panzer Dragoon Orta, taking place after PDS.
If you want to play the game in full I highly recommend getting an emulator for it (Mainly Retro Arc) since Saturn emulation has been smoother the past few years, there is a guild on the Wiki iirc. And if you are one of the few that are waiting for it to come to current Gen home consoles, tough shit. We don’t know the full story but due to the restructuring for the Dreamcast release and after the company restructured again after the Dreamcast died and moved onto game making. The source code is most likely lost or destroyed since there has been no attempts to rerelease it in some shape or form.
With all said and done, with it being one of my favorite games I’ve played this year, I give it unironically a 9.5/10 to a 10/10. I don’t think I’ll have the same experience that I had with this game with any other game moving forwards, but I’m glad to say that this game found a home in my head and heart. And I’ll fight for it whenever Sega tries to remake it or remaster it if they ever find the source code or have another studio help them create it from the ground up.
Ty Team Amdromeda and Sega for creating such an amazing experience…

INFLUENCE OF ASTROLOGICAL GEMSTONES IN OUR LIFE
Astrological gemstones, also known as birthstones or planetary gemstones, are gemstones that are believed to be associated with specific astrological signs or planets. Throughout history, various cultures have attributed mystical properties to gemstones based on their color, composition, and perceived metaphysical qualities. The belief in the power of astrological gemstones is deeply rooted in astrology, an ancient practice that seeks to understand and interpret the influence of celestial bodies on human behavior and events.
The concept of astrological gemstones is based on the idea that different planets govern different aspects of life and that wearing gemstones associated with these planets can enhance or balance their influences. In traditional astrology, each planet is linked to specific characteristics, energies, and areas of life. For example, the Sun is associated with vitality, creativity, and leadership, while Venus is connected to love, beauty, and harmony.
Astrologers believe that wearing the gemstone corresponding to a particular planet can strengthen its positive effects and mitigate its negative influences. The choice of gemstone is usually based on the individual's birth chart, which maps the positions of celestial bodies at the time of their birth. By analyzing the positions of planets and their relationships to each other, astrologers can determine which gemstones are most beneficial for an individual based on their astrological profile.
While the efficacy of astrological gemstones is primarily based on subjective belief and anecdotal evidence, some proponents claim to have experienced tangible benefits from wearing them. These benefits may include increased confidence, improved relationships, enhanced creativity, and greater overall well-being.
To understand the influence of astrological gemstones, it's essential to explore the properties and associations of some of the most commonly used gemstones in astrology:
1. Ruby (Sun) : Ruby is associated with the Sun, the ruling planet of Leo. It is believed to enhance vitality, confidence, and leadership qualities. Ruby is also considered a stone of passion and creativity, inspiring its wearer to pursue their goals with enthusiasm and determination.
2. Pearl (Moon): Pearl is linked to the Moon, the ruling planet of Cancer. It is associated with intuition, emotional healing, and feminine energy. Pearl is believed to promote inner peace, harmony, and a deep connection to one's emotions and subconscious mind.
3. Emerald (Mercury): Emerald is associated with Mercury, the ruling planet of Gemini and Virgo. It is considered a stone of communication, intellect, and mental clarity. Emerald is believed to enhance verbal expression, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
4. Diamond (Venus): Diamond is linked to Venus, the ruling planet of Taurus and Libra. It is associated with love, beauty, and abundance. Diamond is believed to attract love, enhance relationships, and promote harmony and balance in all areas of life.
5. Red Coral (Mars): Red Coral is associated with Mars, the ruling planet of Aries and Scorpio. It is considered a stone of courage, strength, and vitality. Red Coral is believed to boost physical energy, stamina, and assertiveness, helping its wearer overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
6. Yellow Sapphire (Jupiter): Yellow Sapphire is linked to Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius and Pisces. It is associated with wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual growth. Yellow Sapphire is believed to attract abundance, good fortune, and opportunities for expansion and personal development.
7. Blue Sapphire (Saturn): Blue Sapphire is associated with Saturn, the ruling planet of Capricorn and Aquarius. It is considered a stone of discipline, focus, and karmic balance. Blue Sapphire is believed to promote mental clarity, resilience, and patience, helping its wearer overcome obstacles and learn valuable life lessons.
8. Hessonite Garnet (Rahu): Hessonite Garnet is linked to Rahu, a shadow planet in Vedic astrology. It is associated with transformation, intuition, and spiritual awakening. Hessonite Garnet is believed to remove obstacles, release negative energy, and facilitate personal growth and enlightenment.
9. Cat's Eye (Ketu): Cat's Eye is associated with Ketu, another shadow planet in Vedic astrology. It is considered a stone of protection, intuition, and divine guidance. Cat's Eye is believed to ward off evil spirits, promote spiritual insight, and help its wearer navigate life's challenges with clarity and confidence.
Each astrological gemstone is believed to resonate with specific energies and vibrations that align with the qualities and influences of its corresponding planet. By wearing these gemstones as jewelry or placing them in their environment, individuals seek to attune themselves to these energies and harness their potential for personal empowerment and transformation.
In addition by wearing gemstones based on their astrological influences, some practitioners also use gemstone remedies to address specific astrological imbalances or challenges indicated in a person's birth chart. These remedies may involve wearing gemstone jewelry, carrying gemstones with them, or performing rituals and ceremonies to honor the planetary energies.
While the efficacy of gemstone remedies is primarily based on subjective belief and anecdotal evidence, many people report experiencing positive effects from incorporating gemstones into their spiritual or healing practices. Whether used for their aesthetic beauty, symbolic significance, or metaphysical properties, astrological gemstones continue to fascinate and inspire people around the world who seek to connect with the mystical forces of the universe and unlock their full potential for growth and self-discovery.
In conclusion, astrological gemstones are believed to influence one's life by aligning individuals with the energies and vibrations of specific planets and astrological signs. These gemstones hold a special significance for those who believe in their power to enhance personal well-being, relationships, and spiritual growth.

What Are Astronomical Significance Of Gemstones
In astrology, gemstones are believed to harness cosmic energy and influence the planets, impacting the wearer’s life based on their astrological chart. Here’s how they play a role:
Planetary Influence:
Each planet in astrology is associated with specific gemstones that amplify or balance its energies. For instance, yellow sapphire is linked to Jupiter, promoting wisdom and prosperity, while blue sapphire is tied to Saturn, believed to foster discipline and protect against misfortune.
When planetary positions cause malefic effects in a person’s life (known as planetary afflictions or “Doshas” in Vedic astrology), gemstones are worn to balance these influences. A gemstone is selected based on the person's ruling planet or the planet they wish to strengthen.
Zodiac Signs and Gemstones:
Each zodiac sign is associated with specific gemstones. For example, Aries is often linked to red coral or ruby for its Mars association, while Cancer is connected to pearl for its lunar qualities. These gemstones are believed to enhance the positive traits and mitigate negative tendencies of the sign.

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish):
In Vedic astrology, the belief in Navaratna (nine gems) is central, with each gemstone corresponding to a planet or celestial body (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu). Wearing a combination of these stones, or one specific to an afflicted planet, is said to bring harmony and mitigate ill effects of planetary positions.
Gemstone prescriptions are highly personalized in Vedic astrology, determined by a person’s birth chart, planetary dasha (periods), and transits. Western Astrology:
Though gemstones are less emphasized in Western astrology than in Vedic astrology, they are still used in conjunction with birthstones and zodiac signs to enhance individual traits, heal imbalances, or provide emotional support. For instance, amethyst is associated with Pisces, believed to enhance spiritual awareness, while garnet is linked to Capricorn for stability and success.
Buy Moonga Gemstones Online
Healing and Energetic Properties: Many believe that gemstones carry unique vibrational energies that affect emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. In crystal healing practices, certain stones like rose quartz (love and compassion) or amethyst (clarity and protection) are used to balance the body's energy or "chakra" system.
Astrological gemstones are thought to absorb the negative influences of malefic planets or enhance the beneficial energies of ruling planets. This is why astrologers recommend wearing certain stones in specific settings (e.g., rings or pendants) for maximum effect.
Gemstones have long been treasured not only for their beauty but for their believed powers in both cultural and astrological contexts. Whether worn for protection, luck, healing, or spiritual connection, they are seen as intermediaries between the human experience and the cosmos, bridging the material and mystical worlds.

Aura Test – Pick a Magic Stone
Aura Test with Crystals. In Chinese Medicine, this complex yet ancient and sophisticated system, it is believed that we tend to like and therefore wear colours which are somehow “missing” from us. For example, if we tend to wear black colour all the time, we try to replenish the missing (Chinese) element of water in our life and aura. Likewise, there are many “tests” which try to determine what your aura thirsts for. This Aura Test is different though.
To begin with, we chose 6 magical stones, 6 distinctive gems which radiate different cosmic energy. In Witchcraft, we believe that each gem interacts with our aura, healing or helping it to adapt to certain circumstances. Look at the chart, gaze upon each stone… Lets see what this Aura Test can bring out …
Remember that you can chat about this Test on Qooest. The first Magical Social Network + Dating Service designed for our Magical Community.
Step 1. Clear your mind… Step 2. Which Stone attracts you the most?
1. Ruby
If you picked the Ruby then you probably need a passionate stimulus in your life. Your Chi levels need a boost as you”ve probably wasted much of your energy the past months. Is there something or someone draining your energy? Ruby can help your self-confidence and make you feel strong again.
Ruby is a great stone to ward off evil sorcerers and increase the energy levels. Once was believed that a Ruby could actually increase the body temperature, symbolising our zest for life! It is also a great stone to help you get your sex life back on track. Do you miss that?
2. Agate
If you picked the Agate then you probably need to refresh your relationship with nature and yourself. It was believed that burying an Agate in the Earth will turn the place magical again. This is what you probably need right now, revive hope in your life. Maybe you”ve got doubts and you need something to remind you that you the world is Magical, that YOU are magic!
Agate is a stone very famous for helping humans get in touch with their higher selves. Is your faith broken? Faith is being restored by wearing an agate. Valor is also being restored with Agate.
3. Turquoise

5. Obsidian

If I may, I'd like to add to this as a practicing occultist/witch (and not the threefold law type, the "how far do I go down the trance rabbit hole and who do I meet there" type).
From a practitioner's and an academic standpoint, crystals/stones/rocks don't have innate healing powers. What they have (in the Renaissance model) is an innate resonance or synchronicity with a celestial sphere. Each celestial body has its own sphere of influence, excepting the fixed stars which have their own massive one outside of the planets/luminaries, and each one of the celestial spheres has its own connections to Earth, or the sublunar sphere. That's why you'll find old lists from, say, the Picatrix listing traits, times of day, places, colors, and yes, even stones that are linked to a planetary sphere. Everything in this model has synchronicity with something here, and as a result that particular thing carries the resonance or connection with that planetary sphere.
For example, Saturn is listed as the ruler of "onyx and all black stones; among metals lead, iron and all metals that are black and smell bad." (Picatrix, Greer and Warnock, 2010) Per this, all black stones would be ruled by Saturn, and thus find a sort of natural harmony with that sphere of influence.
With that established, let's talk about why these are all definitely still scammers!
Do you know why the Picatrix lists things like this? Not just because all things in the sublunar sphere have connections and resonance with the celestial spheres, but specifically to show how to do magic with them. I won't go into the nitty-gritty of astrological magic and talismans (Chris Warnock is a fantastic resource on this; if you want to understand it better I recommend his website https://www.renaissanceastrology.com/), but the essential part I want you to grasp is that a specific rite and action must be taken to "ensoul" the intended item with the relevant planet. Talismans in the Renaissance astrological magic tradition are ensouled items, born under specific conditions that do best with an item that is under that planet's rulership (to make the spiriting easier) and actively beseeching the planet itself to make a home in the item. (There's also a lot of rules for auspicious timing for these that are far too thorough for me to list here, and that can also change depending on the effect you want to have.)
Now, this is just for the Renaissance astrological magic model of dealing with stones, but I can assure you that I've never seen any other spiritual or magical model where you just pick a fucking rock up and say, "This can fix you!" Not without actual effort from some kind of person who specializes in that exact thing. And let's be real, no talismanic artist worth their salt would ever tell anyone that their talismans will cure them. Every responsible occultist knows the phrase, "Please go talk to your doctor about that."
If you do find a talismanic artist who makes those claims, run, don't walk, away from them.
So just to recap: per Renaissance-era astrological magic, stones might have an innate synchronicity with a planet, but you actually have to do something to it to refine it in order for any magic to actually happen. You can't just pick it up off the fucking ground, mark up the price by 300%, and say it cures polio. And even then, talismans wouldn't have been the go-to for curative properties either - that's what medicine was for. Only swindlers would act like this, and even if you are magically operant, I don't want to hear anything defending these scammers.
good fucking lord we need to demystify minerals. crystals do not have healing or magical powers you guys are just getting scammed

The Power of Gemstones: Enhancing Your Life Through Astrological Remedies
Gemstones have adorned humanity for millennia, revered not just for their beauty but also for their perceived mystical properties. In astrology, gemstones are believed to possess unique energies that can harmonize with the celestial forces influencing our lives. In this article, we explore the profound impact of gemstones as astrological remedies and how they can enhance various aspects of our lives.
The Healing Energies of Gemstones:
Gemstones are not merely decorative ornaments; they are conduits of powerful healing energies that can positively impact our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. For example, the radiant glow of a ruby is associated with the fiery energy of the Sun, symbolizing vitality, passion, and creativity. Wearing a ruby can boost confidence, enhance leadership qualities, and ignite the spark of inspiration in our lives.
Similarly, the soothing blue hues of a sapphire correspond to the calming influence of the planet Saturn, promoting inner peace, discipline, and spiritual wisdom. By wearing a sapphire, we can alleviate anxiety, cultivate mental clarity, and strengthen our sense of purpose and resolve.
Choosing the Right Gemstone:
Selecting the appropriate gemstone requires careful consideration of our birth chart and astrological consultation with a knowledgeable expert. An astrologer can analyze our chart, identify planetary imbalances or afflictions, and recommend the most suitable gemstones to address our specific needs and goals.
For example, someone experiencing career setbacks or financial challenges may benefit from wearing a yellow sapphire to attract abundance and prosperity, whereas an individual struggling with relationship issues may find solace and harmony by adorning themselves with a rose quartz, symbolizing love and compassion.
Harnessing the Power of Gemstones:
Once we have chosen the right gemstone, it’s essential to attune ourselves to its energies and establish a sacred connection with it. Cleansing and energizing the gemstone regularly, wearing it close to the skin, and setting positive intentions can enhance its potency and amplify its healing effects. Additionally, incorporating gemstone meditation practices, such as holding the stone during meditation or placing it on specific chakras, can deepen our spiritual connection and facilitate inner transformation.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, gemstones serve as potent astrological remedies that can profoundly impact our lives on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. By harnessing the unique vibrations of these precious stones, we can align ourselves with the harmonious rhythms of the cosmos, overcome obstacles, and manifest our deepest desires. Whether you seek guidance from a best astrologer or a gems stone consultant, incorporating gemstones into your spiritual practice can lead to profound healing, empowerment, and transformation. Embrace the power of gemstones and embark on a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment.

Hi! If I’m not too late to the Kirby ask game, how about 💌🪐⚡️☀️🥘 for your oc?
OH MY GOD I WAS SEMI JOKING IDK ID ACTUALLY GET AN ASK
anyways here are them for vacay, my half joke half not oc!!!! 💌 (Love Letter) - How easy are they to befriend? Are they more of a social butterfly or a lone wolf? I'd think they'd be easy to befriend, he usually scares people off with his looks but for a loooong while now, he's trying to make himself more presentable and more silly and fun :) he's a former lone wolf who realized the lone life style wasn't what he wanted. a serviceable one, yes, but everything's better with a friend or two !! why was he a lone wolf though? he was scared of his own powers (he might still be, just a little ;)) 🪐 (Saturn) - What planet are they from? Is it in Gamble Galaxy, Another Dimension, the Mirror World, the New World, or somewhere else? Where do they live now?: Y'know, when I first semi-unjokified this guy he was originally from the Mirror World, an intentional contrast to the other dark and gloomy citizens, perhaps a message of "it doesn't matter where you come from" lies in there or something. his origin now? Idk, gm_construct ig oh and also he most likely lives on popstar now, its all so nice and happy and care free!!!! ⚡️ (Lightning Bolt) - Which Power Effects [Blizzard, Bluster, Sizzle, Splash, Zap] would their attacks grant? Do they have any particular weaknesses or resistances, elemental or otherwise? I think he'd be the one gaining power effects from attacks, however, he might have some moves that have specific elements attached to them. Weaknesses? idk, does votekicking count? jkjk! it'd probably be like possession, not really weak to the possession process (probably the same as anyone else), but worried to what would happen afterwards. ☀️ (Sun) - What’s their morning routine like? Do they take a lot of time getting ready in the morning? How do they groom themselves? What are they having for breakfast? wake up, check cellular device, breakfast(?), shower to the best of their abilities, dry, then do what they planned on doing. it tries to not take too much time on getting ready, he loves mornings! i dont know if he can take off his vacation shirt but he doesnt really mind so he just showers in it, hey, two birds one stone amirite? really it just depends, i dont think they need food, I just think that if he feels like it and maybe if kirby or somebody got him some food yesterday he could eat the leftovers. 🥘 (Stew) - Do they have any favourite foods or comfort foods? What are their eating habits like? If absorbed by the Cook ability, what healing item would they summon? I dont actually know, they'd probably eat almost anything that should be eaten, specific favorite foods are tough, watermelons probably, they have plenty of experiences with those. eat when low on health or if on a special occasion/craving something specific. If absorbed, probably also gonna go with watermelons.
#how do i add a read more to asks please help#I was so pessimistic(?)
