#head empty thinking of zelgadiss tonight

Tbh, I hate it when people downplay Zelgadiss's feelings of being a monster because of his looks, saying that if they were cursed to look like the way he does, they wouldn't complain and wouldn't want their original body back. I really wish I knew why people think getting turned into a chimera is worth losing other things that defined them.

I guess I have more sympathy and empathy for Zelgadiss because of the injuries I got to my face a few years ago ( and they can't be fixed / cured ) but I've always felt that Zelgadiss was valid in wanting to go back to looking human, no matter how much his curse makes him better in battle. He was changed against his will..... by his own family btw and I hate that people forget that.
