I think the reason Rick fumbled with writing Jason's abilities/personality is because he was too focused on Jason existing as Percy's rival to focus on Jason as an individual character. And the funniest thing is, in the end, Jason was not considered satisfactory rival to Percy by the fandom either, which is ironic since that was the whole point of his character.

Rick seemingly screwed up the whole rivalry thing because, though he wanted someone to challenge Percy's power, he didn't want that person (Jason) to be more powerful than Percy or more enjoyable than Percy either, in the fear that the audience might start enjoying Jason more.

When you write a rival, you have to make sure that the rival character has equally powerful personality and strength/abilities compared to the person that they're rivalled with.

But Rick? The way he wrote Jason was like a half done updo. He dumped all the cool power on Percy (like potentially implying that Percy has bloodbending,can control water inside of someone, making sure Percy wins ALMOST every fight (and i mean, almost, there is a very rare time Percy ever loses) while limiting his power with Jason in every way possible, making the stupid brick jokes to make sure Jason always passes out in a fight, the whole "I only get one lighting bolt a day from my father" (it's a dumbass logic too, Jason should've been able to summon that much power of lighting on his own, he does NOT need his dad for that shit c'mon now) like it's an obvious effort to make jason appear weaker. Rick did all of this while lazily trying to shoehorn Jason's achievements in the plot by implying it but not actually showing it, like a "yeah he did this cool shit once ig" which makes it less impressive compared to Percy's achievements, which is something we've actually witnessed firsthand. Rick intentionally never brought up or expanded upon Jason's achievements much. He only emphasized everyone's awe of him being the son of Jupiter, which made it seem like Jason had the 'big three child privilege' where people didn't give a fuck about his efforts but instead his position.

Alright Rick, don't give him power, but atleast give him a personality? Nope he isn't getting that either. Jason had the potential to make DARK jokes about his controlled millitary life in Rome, and explore his past. Like I badly wanted a passage of Jason getting his memories back in fragments, Rick could've added flashbacks of Jason's past in his pov in a way that he gets his memories back. Instead he went "yeah yeah jason got all his memories back, it's all good" like SHOW us that wtf?? sure let's make sure he's as stale as possible to the audience, we can't have anyone liking the underdog over Percy Jackson!

He also made sure that Jason had it super hard in life aswell but never emphasized it or gave him anything good compared to Percy.

Don't get me wrong, percy definitely had it rlly hard, but Atleast Rick made sure Percy had a loving mom and a stepdad, a loving girlfriend and a cute adorable sister that he could play and spend time with, he got to celebrate birthdays with Sally, he got to eat her tasty blue food, and he actually had an ambrosia taste. You mean to tell me that Jason's sister barely had time for him, that he hasn't had a single birthday and that ambrosia tastes like sawdust for him while you give the other members of the seven, delicious ambrosia taste? 😤

Jason Grace has gotten the worst life in his own story, he wasn't "powerful" enough for a child of Zeus, he was "boring" , nobody properly trusted him, he died painfully, he didn't have parents, he barely talked to his sister, he didn't have a childhood, he was abandoned to blood thirsty animals when he was TWO, he didn't have a birthday, he didn't have an ambrosia taste, his girlfriend dumped him, he never got to see his best friend before he died, and he is terribly hated by the fandom who are simply turning a blind eye to his struggles because "no Percy will always be better in every way" yeah. I could go on and on.

Yn woke up with the feeling of someone gently caressing her face. She hummed softly at the feeling, how long had it been since anyone touched her like that?

She cracked her eyes open and was met by Theo, green eyes staring softly at her, mouth parted into a soft smile.

"Morning sleepy head" he murmured to her, his voice still groggy from sleep.

Yn smiled gave him a tired grin and snuggled close to his chest.

She felt theos run his hands softly through her hair "we promised Liam that we'd meet with him at the preserve remember?"

"I don't want to go...I just want to stay here with you forever and ever" the girl replied stubbornly her voice slightly muffled as she pressed closer to his body.

"Me too baby..."

Yn looked up at him and gave him a tired smile " then let's stay here, damn Liam"

"Oh really? Then Liam will come here and take the katana back and send me straight back ro hell" he replied giving her a teasing smile.

The sunlight came through the window illuminating the room in which the teenagers were. Still tangled in the bed sheets, pronouncing their love for each other.

The arm that Theo had around her waist moved so that she laid on her back with Theo above her propping himself up in an elbow kissing her. Yn found that she didn't feel slightly uncomfortable with the way that Theo kissed her, softly, lovingly and somehow demanding. Somehow it didn't feel as if he was asking something from her that she didn't feel comfortable to give.

Yn hands wondered to his hair. Messing it more that what it already was, she pulled him closer, letting him kiss her more deeply. Her skiing clawed and she felt a somehow familiar wetness between her legs, she knew what she wanted now. She wanted him, more like needed.

Softly she jerked her hips up clashing with Theos side. Theo quickly pulled back and stared down at her with slightly wide eyes. His lips red from kissing and hair a complete mess.

Theo reached down again and and kissed her forehead softly and then claimed her lips once again. Their lips moved in complete sink. Though more heated up. He softly bit onto her lower lip. Starting off strong with Stephie throwing Colleen under the bus when she didn’t even do anything wrong but be boring LMAO, I love this kid so much.

Azzi realising that her kid is also not immune to the Paige Bueckers charm, like mother like daughter.

I know Thalia’s so done with Paige lol, like she out there just doing her job and doing it well, and yet she’s stuck with her dumbass client (affectionate) whose personal life is perhaps just a little too complicated.

That one-year contract boutta create a fountain of angst huh?

Not Stephie hitting the gym and lifting them weights! A fictional 5-yr old is putting me to shame, you hate to see it 😩

But oh my god, it’s crazy how much she loves P already and vice versa. Although, at this point, I’m just as attached to Stephie as Paige is, blondie’s not special 😒

OH and imagine during a post-game presser with Azzi and Paige, and Azzi brings Stephie along and she immediately goes to sit on P’s lap instead of Azzi’s and they’re both just in their own little world while Azzi tries to actually answer the questions, and everyone in the media plus the public is absolutely eating. it. up.

Speaking of Stephie and P though, “And Paige would never willingly hurt Stephie…but that doesn’t mean that she wouldn’t break her heart any way.” Is this foreshadowing that I see here, Nivi? You’re already gonna make me suffer through potential Drew and Azzi angst and now we might have to go through Stephie and Paige angst too at some point??

On top of that, I just know the flashback to Azzi turning down marriage with P or however that played out is gonna be heartbreaking AF. It’s all just gonna be too much for my fragile little heart to handle (but I’m secretly gonna love all of it cause you know how much I love my angst).

The happy ending will make it all ok though. Side note: I’m getting too much ‘the 1’ undertones, and that makes me stress a lil, but I know you wouldn’t do that to us 😌

Oh and I guess we’re gonna find out more about the “wife” eventually… (Nivi: It’s- Us: For the plot 😭)

Honestly, I've seen so many ppl have this opinion, and all I'm gonna say is: Every driver has a different pr strategy. Lando's whole strategy is being perceived as 'relateable' and 'quirky', and, by the looks of it, it's working really well. Steve saw Peggy and started acting weird with the reader and after returning the stones he came back old asf😭

But the reader had a surprise for him (a pregnancy) what he wanted all those 5 years he spent with her and she got mad and he argued back saying he deserved after everything he did for the people😭 so she didn’t tell him about the baby and left

After a few months she was at the grocery store and ran into Bucky and his eyes were on her swollen belly and she saw the look on his face and said “yes it’s his baby” on the way to his apartment the thousands questions on his mind “did Steve knew his girl was pregnant? Why would he leave her? If i was him I would’ve never left her. Okay stop she is /was your best friend’s girl but he left her someone he once kissed.

There was a lot going on Bucky’s mind, so decided to locate her and find where she lives so he did find her and she was shocked to see it was bucky on the door

So he demand to help her and they became closer and more comfortable around each other and ofc Bucky told Sam about the situation and Sam told the old Steve 😤 and Steve tried contacting her but couldn’t but Sam told him where she lives and he saw his Best Friend and best girl kissing while she was carrying his baby he got mad and possessive/obsessive so he went back and came back younger you know take what was his before he got selfish and left🙄

The Wrong One

Steve Rogers x Reader, Bucky Barnes x Reader

1. Meeting

Warnings: swearing, angst

Y/N had watched the news about the Avengers fight in Germany. All the anchors calling it a 'civil war' but she was in NYC in 2012 and saw the aliens trying to invade. She knew that the world was less safe with the Avengers fighting amongst themselves.

After losing her brother in the Battle of New York she felt her mortality acutely so quit her office job, packed up her apartment and put everything in storage and left to see the world. She had no other family or close friends to keep her in the states and yearned for something different. At this point she had seen most of Europe but lingered in Ireland, entranced by its beauty and the wonderful people.

The bar in Dublin where she was working was quiet with only a couple of customers, typical for suppertime in the middle of the week, so she worked on inventory and organizing the storage room to make room for tomorrows delivery.

The bell rang and she went up to the front to see who was there. It was a couple, the man was taller than her and took off his cap as he walked in. He had broad shoulders and a tight t-shirt, sunglasses covered his eyes and he walked to the furthest corner booth, facing the door.

The woman, pretty with blonde hair, came up to the bar "4 shots of whiskey and 2 pints of Guinness." and handed her a bill "keep the change"

Y/N nodded "Thank you. I'm Y/N if you need anything else."

Y/N knew who they were even with their attempted disguises but she certainly wasn't going to help any crooked government catch some of the Avengers so kept her mouth shut.

The next night the captain returned with another man who was black and had an easy smile, obviously the Falcon. He came up to the bar to order their drinks and flirted a little with her.

This kept up for a few weeks. Always the Captain but he had a few companions that seemed to be on a rotation, Falcon, the Scarlet Witch and a tall slender blonde man that Y/N couldn't place. Black Widow hadn't returned since the first night.

One night the Captain finally took off his sunglasses and smiled at her which made her knees weak and stomach flip, he was beautiful. Every night after that he graced her with that smile. She wanted so badly to talk to him, outside of drink orders and thanks, but didn't want to intrude.

Then she saw something on the news about them being sighted outside of Dublin and they stopped coming in. She hoped they could avoid the authorities. When the pub was slow she daydreamed about the Captain coming back to sweep her off her feet in some grand romantic gesture and she would go on the run with him.

She laughed at herself for her childish fantasies but figured they weren't hurting anyone. It wasn't like she had men, or women, knocking down the door to her apartment above the pub.

A couple of months passed uneventfully and life stayed predictable. Until the Captain came back in by himself. She felt her heart speed up, butterflies swarming her stomach and a tingle in her core.

She smiled at him "Evening. Would you like your usual or are you feeling adventurous?"

He looked at her, right into her soul and smiled, making her feel faint. "I'll take a pint and..." He paused awkwardly and she waited patiently "and, your, uh your number?"

Y/N laughed and the Captain felt his heart clench, he hadn't seen anyone like her since...

"Are you sure? You don't seem like-"

He interrupted her, almost shouting "NO!" Realizing how loud he was he spoke softly, giving her a chill, when he said "I mean yes, definitely yes" and looked at her hopefully.

"How could any girl refuse a request like that?" and took his offered phone to put her number in, naming herself 'Barmaid'.

His grin grew until he realized something "You don't have an Irish accent. Where are you from?"

She laughed lightly "It's called an Irish brogue and I keep hoping it'll rub off on me but no such luck. It's been almost 2 years and some of my regulars tease that even an Irish brogue can't overpower a New Yawk accent."

"New York? Whereabouts? Brooklyn here."

She smiled knowingly at him "I already knew that, learned about you in school. I wrote a term paper about your friend Bucky Barnes."

Steve blushed and chuckled "When did you realize who I was?"

"The first time you came in with Natasha Romanoff, you were pretty easy to recognize. Don't worry, I won't sell you out. I've always been on your side."

Steve looked at her seriously "Not always on my side if you wrote a report about Bucky." He teased.

"I seem to recall you always being on the same side. I noticed you never bring him in, is he ok?"

Steve nodded, touched by her warmth and concern "Yeah, he's uh somewhere safe, getting help to get rid of the Hydra programming."

She smiled "I'm glad he's being cared for. What about you? Are you taking care of yourself?"

He sighed "Not many opportunities for that on the road. I'm more concerned about my friends, if we were caught....."

He left off and looked at his hands, not wanting to contemplate that possibility.

Y/N reached out to touch his cheek gently, smiling when he leaned into her hand, and pulled his face up to look at her. "You'll be in just as much trouble as they will." She cupped his other cheek "You need to take care of yourself too."

Steve closed his eyes for a moment, enjoying her soft touch. Feeling sparks where her skin touched his, a stirring in his groin making a small moan slip out. When he realized it, his eyes snapped open and looked into hers.

His eyes darted around the room, confirming that no one else was in the bar before he leaned forward until his lips brushed hers, his eyes fluttering closed.

Y/N could feel her heart racing, was Captain America really kissing her in a pub in Ireland? She moved her hand from his face to the back of his neck, pulling him closer.

He smiled into the kiss and teased her lips with his tongue which she accepted and the kiss intensified until they were both out of breath.

Steve pulled back, smiling "I've been wanting to do that since the first night I came in."

She tskd him "And we've been wasting all this time? For shame Captain."

He leaned in to kiss her again before she put a finger on his lips. "I'm actually still on the clock but closing in an hour. If you want to hang out until I'm done, we can get some food and eat at my place." She asked holding her breath. She hadn't taken many men home since she stopped here but how could she not.

His grin grew and he blushed bright red as he nodded "Yes, absolutely."

They spent that night talking, getting to know each other in between making out and discovering each other's bodies.

The next few weeks they spent as much time together as possible, both dreading the time when he would have to move on.

One night a month after they first kissed, Steve came later than usual and she could tell he had something on his mind.

After she gave him his drink he grabbed her hand and looked at her sadly. She knew before he said anything. "You have to go, don't you?"

He tried to keep the tears in his eyes from falling and couldn't find the words so just nodded. After a few minutes he composed himself and spoke softly "I'm so sorry. I never meant. I can't find the words."

She nodded sympathetically and held his hand "I know Steve it's alright."

"No" he shook his head "It's not alright. None of this situation is alright but my time with you has been the only real peace I've had in, well ever really."

He pulled his hand away and stood suddenly "I'm sorry but I have to go. I'll try to come back soon."

She stood up and went up the stairs. When she came back she was on her phone. She finished her call and looked at Steve with a smile on her face, then grabbed his hand, a backpack in the other hand "So let's go."

Chapter 2

Merlin "Rewatch" w/ Mom -- 5x10

("Rewatch" here meaning "Mostly first time watch, but with the knowledge of what happens.)

First of all: WHAT THE HECK WAS UP WITH THAT HORRIFIC FACE DISFIGUREMENT THING AT THE END?? I've never seen ANYONE discuss how messed up that is, and they SHOULD. I know this aired in the same time slot as Doctor Who, but Mom and I were NOT prepared.

Second of all: Uggghhhh

We're coming into the final three episodes.

Mom doesn't want to know what's coming, but knows it won't end well. She suspects Arthur's going to die (but we all know it's the execution that's the real kicker).

I will say, I was surprised Season 5 has actually had a lot of nice moments I never knew. It's a little moodier than I'd like, and Merlin as a character makes me sad, but there's still some nice comedy and character moments. Like Arthur saving that woman from being burned at the stake, that was so good! (Maybe it's easier for me to appreciate certain scenes knowing what's going to happen? I'm not as tense?)

(It also helps I sat out The Disir and The Dark Tower since I was walking the dog. I don't know I could have bore either without spoiling the finale out of pure frustration)

Mom's been just absorbing it all. She's had a lot of questions, like:

Mom: Why did Aithusa join Morgana? Me: We don't know. They never told us. 😒

Mom: (after The Dark Tower) How did Gwen turn evil? Me: Magic. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Mom: Oh, for gods sake! 🤦‍♀️

Mom: When do they find out about that bracelet Morgana gave Gwen to make her love Lancelot? Me: They don't. 😤 Mom: ...Are you kidding??

The deaths have been a little tougher this season, especially Elyan's. She liked the Dolma, but rolled her eyes a bit at Merlin trying to "act like a woman" instead of just getting on with curing Gwen. And she was NOT happy with Uther's ghost (who was??) or Gaius telling on Merlin and endangering Finna.

But god... watching Merlin's struggles, I just keep thinking, what was the point of it all?

There's so much back and forth the whole season, the whole series really, about destiny and duty and following your heart, and I just... what's the moral here? Follow destiny and get screwed? Follow your heart and still get screwed? It's good to know prophecies and Merlin just didn't know how to handle it? It's bad to know prophecies because you cause them to happen? If that was the case, why did Finna die to pass that last prophecy on? Also, you deserve to die, even when you haven't done anything wrong, because a prophecy says you will? You have choice? You never had one? Some will say the point is "the friends we made along the way", or there doesn't need to be a moral, but there's just no consistency, except whatever keeps the drama going.

It doesn't help that, except for the Camlann prophecy, we never actually hear any of the other prophecies everyone talks about. So we never know for sure if the problem was a misinterpretation of the prophecies in terms of what the Golden Age looked like, or if Merlin failed because of his choices, or if he was ALWAYS going to fail no matter what he did, or if he even failed at all! Because the dragon tells him he didn't in the end, but it doesn't make much sense.

Did the writers even know? They have admitted in interviews they were working nonstop on the show for five years, at grueling pace, so I forgive them for being fuzzy, but it seems like the show's moral code and prophecy lore really depended on who was writing the episode that week.

What I've always loved about Harry Potter is that while prophecies exist, the power of choice is emphasized. Prophecies can be, and often are, misinterpreted. Not every prophecy in the Department of Mysteries was ever fulfilled, so destiny is not the be-all end-all. It's made very clear that it's whether you act on prophecies or not that matters. The characters' beliefs and convictions still matter. It's consistent, it's clean, and it leaves the characters' agency.

In Merlin... you can interpret it a million different ways and still be wrong. And maybe part of the issue is that while Harry agrees to be the Chosen One since he already wanted Voldemort dead, Merlin's heart and destiny are so often divided. And that's what makes it so darn frustrating. And why I believe they gave Merlin too much of a burden for one person. No "almost" about it.

I‘m only about halfway through but I need to rant

- it‘s incredible how well cassie manages to lend a unique voice to each of her characters every single time. she just doesn’t miss does she?

- lin caster is the awesomest girl. i just love her because she reminds me of other cc girls in the way that she is kind of a very typical heroine on the surface but you can actually feel her emotions and she’s very believable & flawed & human and you just can’t help rooting for her + i love her friendship with mariam

- everyone is bisexual & it’s completely normalised i love it here

- lin & conor??? apparently they are the flagship which I know because I took a peek at the tag after they had two scenes together because the ENERGY OMG

- ahh yes, conor 😌 another pretty man with issues who’s in a lot of trouble and likes to cover it up with sarcasm, pompous behaviour, fancy clothes & vanity- you just can’t help but love it

- but also he‘s the biggest prick and i want him to have some sense beat into him by everyone around him

- like he qualifies for a huge growth arc but it could also go downhill and turn into sth ugly

- anyone had a weird sense of déjà vu about him and lin after that one little excerpt about adessa and suleman? like, she’s an ashkar with probably immense magical potential let’s be real i see where this is going and he‘s a prince (future king) with marivent blood 🤔🤔🤔

- conor‘s frat boy posse make my blood boil- especially with the way they talked about antonetta in that one scene 🤢🤮

- i love how we see the complexities of their culture portrayed through lin who on the one hand is deeply ingrained in it and holds/has received a lot of love & care for/from her own people while also having been wronged & ostracised by them and how both can be true simultaneously

- as someone who‘s very familiar with multiple romance languages the languages in this book are incredibly entertaining to me

- SO MANY SECRETS & political intrigue hehehe rubbing my little hands together can’t wait for all this to escalate (because it most certainly will) 😈

WROTE UP SOME THINGS I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT. Bit of blend of spice, dashes of angst, and comfort stirred in 😤🤌

Just a lil collection of thoughts, will prolly end up dropping these into my headcanon doc‐ so hey, this is a way to work on it :P

1. So I've touched on Lawrence being insecure about his body in a previous post + drawing. I imagine he's kinda always felt this way, but during his recovery period, much to his horror, he's put on more weight. And I imagine as the two grow closer, that insecurity about his body grows even louder... Because with the way things unfold between them, he's realized there seems to be only a matter of time before he and Adam's intimacy takes that step into seeing one another unclothed. He tries to keep his fears to himself, but of course when they do finally cross that line, he has to spill his feelings. So this is uh MORE THOUGHTS REGARDING THEIR FIRST TIME, as a roadblock is hit when Lawrence doesn't exactly want to go into that first step of taking his shirt off,, because he knows how 'unattractive, broken, and overweight' he is, and fears what Adam will think. And like Adam had been gathering that something was up, but he's still honestly still caught off guard when Lawrence does finally voice these insecurities. He's genuinely baffled, and can't wrap his head around Lawrence's harsh words about himself. Because as far as he's concerned, he's standing before a man who is simply so unbelievably handsome, beautiful, breathtaking, hot, captivating... And everything between. At some point in his assurances, Adam asks "What's wrong with having more of you to love...?"

And while the insecurities don't just magically vanish right then and there... The assurances and care do undoubtedly help.

And then they bang :^)

2. Been thinking about times where things start getting hot and heavy, where Lawrence as the 'instigator' of said hot and heaviness. And as much as Adam would be trying to keep his composure and stay all cool with snarky deflections and all that, his damn heart is beating out of his chest and Lawrence absolutely knows it LMAO. He truly just finds all of this to be so adorably endearing, and frankly, is flattered to know that he has this sort of effect on Adam, y’know... He may tease and such, but he never wants Adam to feel bad or put down or anything. Only loved, cherished, and adored,

And I just imagine Adam turning back and giving him this 🥺 sort of look-

And then they bang :^)

3. As corny as he feels when this comes to mind for him, just... Adam looking at Lawrence's body, heavy lust in his eyes. And a little thought realizes that this is a canvas.,

But the thought keeps coming to mind. And once they become more comfortable with being """embarrassing""" around one another, maybe he does finally vocalize it.

My theories (and some hopes) on how Season 3 of The Bad Batch might go:

I think I’ll do this in bullet points so that it’s better organized. Since this is a pretty long post, I'll keep it under the cut.

The season would probably start off with Hunter, Wrecker and Echo continuing their search for Omega, but are seeking help from Rex and other clone rebels they’re working with. Heck maybe Senator Chuchi hearing about Omega being captured, she’ll be completely devastated and will do everything in her power to find out more about Hemlock and help the batch with info they would need.

I personally don’t think the batch would find Omega in episode 1 or early in the season, but are working hard to find her. They may even have failed mission attempts along the way.

PHEE!!! Poor Phee! 😭 I’m definitely sure she’d be heartbroken about Tech and devastated about Omega getting captured (the last thing she told her I can’t 😭😭). I think she would join the batch in their rescue efforts.

FERAL RUTHLESS BROODY HUNTER NOT STOPPING AT ANYTHING UNTIL HE GETS HIS DAUGHTER BACK!!!! 😤

At the same time, Hunter will be shattered and feel like a failed leader 🥺💔 He’ll feel like he failed to keep his squad safe and together and blame himself for losing Tech and Omega and eventually break (Please let this man cry!!! He’s been through so much he needs it!) Aaaaand I think he might have so many conflicting feelings on Crosshair (might make a separate post for this one).

Poor Wrecker will probably not be as cheerful and goofy this time around 🥺

Echo trying to convince Hunter to join the clone rebels even after they rescue Omega since the Empire won’t stop being a threat but Hunter’s still traumatized from losing Tech and Omega and is brutally terrified of the Empire’s power (and honestly he has every right to be). He just wants to settle down and put his soldier days behind him.

Would actually love to see more of Wrecker’s stance on whether to fight the empire or not, since he loves anything that goes “BOOM” and loves to put up a good fight (and would bet that he would love to see the Empire burn) but he also enjoyed something as peaceful as fishing on Pabu PLUSSS he was actually full for the first time! It was so good to see him happy! 🙌🏽

More on Phee, I feel like she might be a shoulder that the batch can lean on, someone to help them through their grief and trauma. She helped them so much in season 2 and I can see her continuing that.

I know this one’s controversial but just hear me out. I’m angry at Cid more than anything right now, Buuuuuuut I still can’t ignore how sad she was when she betrayed the batch even though that doesn’t justify what she did. So, my theory is that she will feel so much regret because she knows what she did was beyond effed up and will try to make things right with the batch, even offering to help them find and save Omega. Obviously the batch would hate her and not trust her nor are they willing to forgive her (and they have every right not to) and refuse her help several times. Heck I would love to see Hunter in a fit of rage scream at her that if it hadn’t been for her, Omega would’ve still been with them and not in the hands of the Empire. Cid feels so much regret for putting Omega in danger since I know she’s always had a soft spot for her regardless of all the times Cid did them wrong, so obviously she would have to do everything beyond her power and genuinely try to regain the batch’s trust and show that she definitely wants to help them (ofc she would also have to accept that her days of exploiting the batch will never come back and prove it to them). I guess she might be key in getting important intel for saving Omega and they may have to reluctantly trust her? (Then ofc I would still want them to permanently part ways with Cid afterwards because she’s done enough to them and doesn’t deserve their forgiveness like ever).

We could also be getting a lot of focus on Omega and Crosshair on Mt Tantiss simultaneously with the batch attempting their rescue efforts. Crosshair would be shocked that Omega’s there despite him previously trying to warn the batch to hide. Omega fills him in and tells him they tried to save him but Tech “died”. I think we’ll see him devastated and potentially feel guilty for not being there to protect him or feel that his attempted rescue was the cause. Either way I still feel like Crosshair will feel so much guilt over his past actions with the empire and betraying his brothers and Omega trying to assure him that it wasn’t his fault or something like that. Definitely would love to see lots of Crosshair and Omega bonding!

Omega trying to devise a plan to escape the facility and trying to get Crosshair to help her but he feels like it’s hopeless. Omega being herself refuses to give up and thinks that there’s a way to reach her other brothers and is trying to get Crosshair to not give up.

Omega will probably scold Emerie for working with the empire on doing experiments and torturing her own brothers and it potentially may be revealed that Emerie is forced to do this?

More backstory on Emerie and potentially Omega(?), maybe force sensitive Omega gets confirmed but at this point I’m not even sure (this could be a post for another time).

Emerie might redeem (?) and help Omega and Crosshair escape covertly, but can’t stop experimenting on her brothers. Maybe until later?

I would predict that if there would be a successful rescue mission, it would be during the midseason. Maybe Crosshair and Omega might be able to send a transmission to their brothers in secret with Emerie’s help?

HUNTER AND OMEGA HUG PLZZZZZZZ 😭❤️ PLZZ DAVE I NEED THIS MORE THAN ANYTHING!!! Plus seeing Hunter and Omega reunite after everything that’s happened and all that time they were separated, I think a hug would be most impactful here!! I wanna see Hunter be the one to initiate the hug and hold her so tight! 😭 I wanna see him be so tender with her and Omega hugging him in tears so happy that she’s back with her dad! 😭❤️

I need a happy reunion not just with Hunter but I wanna see Echo and Wrecker being ecstatic that Omega’s back!!! 😭❤️ Ofc I will not forget about Phee!!

I almost forgot, AZI!!! I love this droid so much and I hope he can be more active this season and we can see Omega back with her bestie!

Omega would probably get a new weapon since I think her energy bow is long gone 🥲

Crosshair rejoins the batch! But wait. Just because he’s back, doesn’t mean that everything’s back to normal. Wrecker might be the happiest to have him back but still wouldn’t be his playful goofy self around him just yet. I feel like the one relationship that needs the most mending is Hunter and Crosshair and hopefully we see that play out. They both need to work on rebuilding trust and forgiveness in each other. Crosshair will still probably feel guilty and try to make things right with his remaining brothers and re-earn their trust and forgiveness.

More on the last point though, I feel that despite the damage in Hunter and Crosshair’s relationship, Hunter still genuinely cares so much about his brother (which I might elaborate in another post as mentioned above). Once he finds out what happened to him on Mt Tantiss, I can bet that he’ll go feral on Hemlock and everyone in that operation.

Now here’s another theory on the darker and less cheerful side. I’m definitely believing that Tech is still alive since we neither saw him hit the ground nor did we see his body and that’s a general rule in the Galaxy. Heck we saw Maul get cut in half and survive, Anakin get burned alive and survive, Boba was trapped in the Sarlacc for who knows how long and guess what? He survived that! Hunter even fell from up high on Daro and was able to use his vibro knife to ease the impact of the fall along with the trees helping, and I don’t even believe he got injured from that. So I definitely think Tech is smart enough to find a means to survive the fall somehow. He had his legs broken in the season 2 premiere and yet he still managed to follow Echo and Omega and hold his own in combat against several troopers, so unless we see some sort of confirmation, I’m convinced he managed to survive.

More on the last point, I definitely think that he would be pretty badly injured or potentially in a coma. His goggles may have fallen off which caused them to break so if Tech managed to wake up, he could’ve potentially escaped(?). I’m definitely leaning more towards Hemlock finding him unconscious and taking him to Mt Tantiss for experimentation (potentially Winter Solider-type experiments or something similar to what the techno union did to Echo(?)), but he’s being held separately. And he was merely using Tech’s goggles against the batch to manipulate them.

As for how the batch would find out about him being alive, I definitely have multiple theories about this. Either Omega and Crosshair could find out while they were at Mt Tantiss and try to rescue him. Or the rescue attempt might fail but they might tell the batch and they may have to attempt a different rescue effort. Ooooooor I think Emerie might be assigned to work on him but might end up helping him out (Ok I know I keep bringing her up but I just can’t see her as genuinely evil). I feel like he could either get rescued with Crosshair and Omega or towards the end? Would he end up with cybernetic enhancements? Brainwashed into fighting his brothers? So many questions!! 😭 And again, Phee!!! I would love to imagine how a rescue effort or reunion would look like! I think we would all know how it would play out in different situations! 🙌🏽

But seriously if Tech’s alive and well and recused by the batch, I wanna see a happy reunion! 😭

CLONE UPRISING AND REBELLION!!! BRING DOWN MT TANTISS OPERATION ONCE AND FOREALL!! 😤🙌🏽 SAVE THE CLONES!! JUSTICE FOR THE CLONES!! 🙌🏽

I think the clones trying to take down Mt Tantiss might be the finale plot of the season. If word does get out about Mt Tantiss, I think Palpatine might handle Hemlock the same way he handled Rampart, while still maintaining even more secretive cloning operations on other planets, including Exegol(?).

Not in the intended order but maaaaaybe we get a teen Penn Pershing??? It would totally make sense considering his research being focused in cloning and that he started his career young!

Will we see Pabu again? Lyanna? Shep? So many questions I have around this one.

Theories on who might die this season:

Unless this would be the final season (idk if it would be since I feel like there’s a lot of storytelling potential, ideally up until season 4 or 5), I highly doubt any of the batch would die too soon. And I honestly would rather them not die since I feel like having main characters die at the end is so overused in SW it would actually be satisfying to see a happy ending for once. Esp for the clones since they were created to be “dispensable military units” and I really wanna see not only the batch, but several of the surviving clones being given the chance to live normal lives outside being soldiers. 🥲🤞🏽

Nala Se: I’ve had a theory for a while that she might get killed trying to free Omega or keep her safe from the empire. Even though this will never justify her past actions, she might also have regrets(?). I feel like Omega would break down from this.

Emerie: though I’m against redemption=death for the most part, I feel like she might killed trying to help Omega and Crosshair or if she stands up to Hemlock and refuses to work for him any longer (again I maybe stretching it with her not being a villain or her potentially getting redeemed but the fact that she’s a clone opens up so much potential for her).

Lama Su: Plzzzzzzzz!! I would love to see this man get killed and not get his freedom! He totally doesn’t deserve it!

Hemlock(?): Not sure if he would get killed or arrested like Rampart? But honestly it would be satisfying to see him get killed eventually.

Any clone we may have known or yet to know (since tbb writers love making us fall in love with these clones then killing them 🥲)

Phee(?): I really hope not, but at the same time I’m trying not to only focus on characters I hate/dislike with this list.
