ok i am going to say it. the pain arc is not as good as people say it is. the fights were decent but the emotional beats never landed and pain is a boring villain quite frank lee
#he's less interesting than every akatsuki member except zetsu and shark boy#though i suppose we have to thank him for finally killing jiraiya. that was a good fight.#today i met a girl with IMMACULATE naruto opinions (read: exactly the same as mine) and i am validated in this chilis!!!!#she's the first person ive met who agrees w me abt the pain arc... her faves are shika kakashi and itachi...#her fave was kakashi but he got bumped to no. 2 after shikamaru CAME THRU in the akatsuki suppression arc ... We Are The Same#she doesnt like sasuke as a person but thinks hes an interesting character.... she said asuma's death carried more weight than jiraiya's...#she doesnt like the way naru/hina was handled... she skips all filler except the kakashi filler....#ugh her absolute mind#girl can i get ur number#nart
