Oh this new post reminds me of a silly question I've had for a while but kept forgetting to ask, is the plume on Sir Arthur's helmet just part of the design, or does he also have hair like Dragato and Falspar?

It's his actual hair, though he doesn't take off his helmet very often to confirm it—like Meta Knight, he prefers to rest with his armor on, even if it's not the most comfortable. He used to keep it shorter in his pre-GSA days.

A soul once sweet, now grows bitter with time,

Pretty smiles turned to mocking sneers divine.

What fault of a child, when Fate's cruel hand

Fed him sorrow, and a tragic stand?

His mother, strong and valiant, now lies down.

Poison took, to keep her baby safe and sound.

She walked miles, to meet her demon's might,

Only to meet her end by Luo's dark night.

His father, lover of humanity true,

Sat on the demon throne, with a heart that shone through.

He loved a woman, accomplished and renowned,

But his end was tragic, love unbound.

Those humans, who buried him under Bailu's peak,

Sealed his fate, with hearts that did seek.

Two lovers, human and demon lord,

Fate cruel to them, and their child, oh so adored.

No love, no care, for the child to hold,

Carefree days lost, as sorrow unfold.

Why punish the child, for parents' sin?

Heaven's laws, why take love from him?

Fate, does your heart not ache and bleed?

Innocence lost, scorn and contempt proceed.

Luo Binghe, once sweet, now demon lord,

Resentful heart, with karma to record.

His deeds, no crimes, but fate's dark score,

For all of the wrongs he endured before.

Nobody seems to be talking much about what Kel's been through over the course of the game events. It's like he's trying to be the happy person but repressing his own negative emotions in the first place. Everyone thinks he moves on quickly but he really just forced himself to 'accept it' which is not healthy at all.

Hero having his parents' favoritism during the argument is a piece of evidence on how Kel developed this coping mechanism as well.

💥 COLLISON - what emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

Jack really struggles with anger. He doesn’t get angry very often, and when he does get angry, it doesn’t last long. That said, any time he has felt anger for any sustained period, it’s scared Jack a little. For example, he was angry at Rooney at first when they returned and were being evasive about what happened. When Rooney felt frustrated and seemed to shut down, Jack was scared that they would leave due to his anger. Rooney assured him that wasn’t the case; they were just tired.    

😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily?

Jack cries more than Rooney, but he doesn’t cry super easily. He’s usually able to hold it back until he is alone. (Unless, he is around Rooney or a close friend, in which case Jack has no issue crying around them.) During the time that Rooney was missing, he cried a lot due to grief. Jack also cries over movies sometimes, especially ones that are supposed to tug on the heartstrings. 

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

Jack’s greatest wish is for him and Rooney to be safe, especially after Rooney reappears in his life. While there are certain lines he isn’t willing to cross (like killing someone), Jack would be willing to fight for their safety and happiness. Like Rooney, he would prefer a nonviolent way of securing safety for both of them.   

✂️ SCISSORS - what is the "last straw" for them to cut someone out of their life? how easily do they let go of people?

It’s hard for Jack to let go of people, especially people he really cares about. He also tends to put up with a lot more when someone is being mean towards him rather than another person. The last time Jack cut someone out of his life was when an old friend told Jack that he should give up on Rooney, that it was time he accepted they were dead. Jack knows the old friend has his best interests at heart, but he can’t let go. 

💓 BEATING HEART - what gets their heart racing?

Whenever someone he has a crush on or is in a relationship with hugs him from behind, it always gets Jack’s heart racing and makes it blush. He also loves it when they compliment him about something, especially when it’s not work-related.

/ Reminder that Hook has seen so many horrors that its a wonder he's not broken down by now.

He's witnessed men fall into the ocean and drown during storms, he's seen them crushed by a broken mast, eaten by sea creatures. He's seen people punished by marooning and left to die alone on an island.

He's seen men shot point blank, he's seen men knee hauled under a ship to be dragged back out in tatters, he too had been whipped by a cat'o'nine tails and lived to tell the tale. He's seen others not be so lucky.

He's seen men suffer of scurvy, die of illnesses and infection. He's survived that too many a time.

One of these days, he's going to have face every atrocity he's seen and been through. And it will break him.
