#a poem for Bingge

I wrote something for Bingge. Its not the best so please be kind to me╥﹏╥

A soul once sweet, now grows bitter with time,

Pretty smiles turned to mocking sneers divine.

What fault of a child, when Fate's cruel hand

Fed him sorrow, and a tragic stand?

His mother, strong and valiant, now lies down.

Poison took, to keep her baby safe and sound.

She walked miles, to meet her demon's might,

Only to meet her end by Luo's dark night.

His father, lover of humanity true,

Sat on the demon throne, with a heart that shone through.

He loved a woman, accomplished and renowned,

But his end was tragic, love unbound.

Those humans, who buried him under Bailu's peak,

Sealed his fate, with hearts that did seek.

Two lovers, human and demon lord,

Fate cruel to them, and their child, oh so adored.

No love, no care, for the child to hold,

Carefree days lost, as sorrow unfold.

Why punish the child, for parents' sin?

Heaven's laws, why take love from him?

Fate, does your heart not ache and bleed?

Innocence lost, scorn and contempt proceed.

Luo Binghe, once sweet, now demon lord,

Resentful heart, with karma to record.

His deeds, no crimes, but fate's dark score,

For all of the wrongs he endured before.

Okay, so, someone on AO3 asked for the name of Ning Binghe's Wan Jian admirer/love interest in the Great God Airplane AU, so here we are once again, with me doing my best to come up with a Chinese name that doesn't sound too goofy (and doesn't have any rude/unkind/offensive associations/slang meanings in Chinese). And because this guy isn't a Heavenly Official, I went and once again tried my hand at research to create a proper three-part name with a good meaning.

So now we have He Baozhong (何宝忠), head disciple of Wan Jian, shixiong to Bingge by about two years, and whose name, if I have done it right, means 'What Precious Loyalty/Devotion'. (As always, if I have erred in any way, please gently know what I've done wrong and also how to do it right.) Because he's Ning Binghe's love interest, and also I picture him as the Chinese Xianxia version of an honest, forthright farm boy sort of fellow. Like I said in the post where he's first mentioned, 'a slightly rough fellow possessed of homespun good looks, but when he loves, it is freely and fully.' The sort of guy with slightly crooked teeth and a slightly crooked smile, heavily calloused hands, an easy no-nonsense attitude, and a big heart.

Also Luo Bingge arrived in this world by the ninth road, and a short while later Baozhong's Main Love Interest halo activated.

This boy is going to take Bingge on honest-to-Airplane dates that don't involve any papapa (or even anything papapa adjacent!), and spoil him, and just overall fluster the hell out of our favorite blackened-lotus-turned-doctor-in-training. He's used to being the initiator and/or insta-love, maybe the odd attempt at being seduced here or there, and pretty much exclusively with women. It's big and passionate and erotic and short. Not slow and friendly and- and warm.

What the frick, what warm, why is this warm, the guy's not even that hot, Bingge is so far out of this guy's league, but somehow He Baozhong just- hasn't noticed and now Bingge feels all gooshy inside whenever he thinks about the guy's stupid, not particularly poetry-worthy face, disgusting.

scum villain makes me SO INSANE like it's the funniest book I've ever read and also if I think too hard about one character in particular my brain shorts out shies away from the thoughts like a slug might shy away from salt I will POSITIVELY DIE if I think too long about tlj JUST trying to understand people being betrayed by someone who he thought loved him losing everyone who was ever close to him BECAUSE of him I think too hard about yqy and how he will never get closure there will be no happiness for him zzl my little boy my big cheese my funtime guy who JUST wanted to be liked he was trying so hard to do good he's like that poem from the point of view of a cat that can't figure out what he did wrong why do his family keep leaving the house why can he never grow big like his brothers sqq never seeing his family again never acknowledging he had a family except in passing never being able to tell his husband about his first life having to keep that secret for the rest of his life to always have this weird terrible pain between them forever the sacrifices he made for luo binghe how he'll never be able to truly know og sqq's motivations how he just woke up and immediately took up the mantel of sqq despite knowing his fate WHAT was his life as shen yuan like to make him so quick to alter his whole identity WHY is he so good at acting and lying to everyone including himself just refers to himself as a listless pretty boy like he doesn't have the cleverest mind in the whole book!!!!! og sqq in the cave what must he have felt when he realized he wasn't strong enough to save lqg and knowing what people were going to say and being too proud and miserable to clear his own name binghe's "I hate! I hate myself!" scene I am SCREAMING binghe being unhealthily manipulative from DAY ONE up to the point where sqq realizes what he's done with xin mo the CAVE SEX SCENE??????????? don't get me STARTED on shang qinghua!!!!!!!! liu qingge!!!!!! BINGGE?????? it's like a wormhole in my head if I think too hard past sqq being the funniest mother fucker in two different universes and the premise of haha big demon hot for teacher mommy kink :))) I will DIE I will PERISH i am rabid I am biting and tearing and rending and howling!!!!!!
