"W-Where are we going?" You mumbled as Bucky carried you upstairs from the basement. You’d been forced downstairs there after your first attempt to run away. They tried their best to show you how much you need them but you didn’t listen. Steve suggested that maybe a trip down to the basement would teach you a much needed lesson. Although Bucky was the softer one, he agreed with Steve and dragged you downstairs.

After spending a week down there, you tried your best to be a good girl to win them back. Surprisingly, it seemed like it worked.

Bucky gently patted your back when he noticed the frightened look on your face, "Well since my babygirl has been such a good girl I wanted to get you something special."

You both walked into the kitchen and Steve was standing there with a huge bouquet of mixed red and pink roses. You stared at them for a minute, not knowing what to say.

Steve frowned at your silence and walked over to you, gently stroking your back to pull you out of your thoughts, "Do you not like them, sweetheart?”

"N-no no I l-love them…" You quickly replied, not wanting to upset them. The truth was you loved them. You were just feeling overwhelmed after being shunned from them for almost two weeks, "It's just that no one has ever got me flowers…"

"Awwe sweetheart," Steve smiled sadly, “It's okay, darling, I know. Bucky told me he heard you tell your friend that at the mall one time.”

Bucky nodded, and nearly chuckled at the surprised look on your face, “Mhmm, you guys were at that cute lingerie store and she was buying something for valentine's day. I remember you looked so sad, you were telling her you've never even gotten flowers from a boy before."

Tears began to roll down your cheeks, and you tried your best to play them off as happy tears. How long had they been watching you? You remembered that conversation at the mall but it was at least a year ago. You could feel your stomach churning but you knew you had to pretend to be happy. You couldn’t risk going back to the basement.

Steve kissed your tears away, "That made us very sad, sweetheart. Every girl deserves to get flowers from someone special. Especially such a pretty girl like you."

"Well that's why she has us now, Stevie. Our precious little doll." Bucky smiled, kissing your cheek.

"Happy valentine's day sweetheart,” Steve wrapped his arms around both of you as you continued to cry in Bucky’s arms.
