I think Starscream would use something like that, from what I remember the sparklings would hide in the plating of their parents until they get older cause they’re so small and squishy, but Starscream has missiles under his boobs, so when the sparkling is burrowing under his armor he’s like ‘damn I have to find some way to keep this thing from blowing us both up.’ Megatron has a black hole in him, he knows sparklings don’t go deep enough to reach internal weaponry like that, this is mostly so he won’t get toooo attached

Megatron would probably be offended at it at first but keeping something under your armor 24/7 is gonna get annoying so he ends up using it lmao

Starscream instinctively finds his ‘mate’ and baby gifts even if he doesn’t realize it, like that one eagle who keeps on flying huge sticks into his mates face

Rodimus getting sparked by Soundwave and trying to hide it because they’re in the middle of a war but Soundwave finds out half way through & he is not happy Rodimus hid this from him

When he found out he was sparked he panicked. He was terrified and didn't know what to do. So many emotions rushed through him. He spent days agonizing over his choices. He couldn't believe his spark baffle had broken. Getting sparked seemed like something out of a nightmare.

His first thought was to get rid of it and that's what he originally planned. They were in the middle of a war. His sparkling would be forced to grow up in a broken world. It would be selfish to have a sparkling during that time. Not to mention who the sire was.

Soundwave, Decepticon third in command, would never want anything to do with the sparkling. He was too loyal to the Decepticons and would never leave them for him or their new spark. He was just a quick fling here and there. When they both needed some release.

He still debated telling him. Because Soundwave deserved to know, at least. Even if he knew it would only end in spark break. Soundwave would probably cut off all communication and then he'd really be alone. He wanted to tell him so badly. He didn't want to be alone during this, but he couldn't. Even if Soundwave rejected him and his sparkling. It would still put a target on their backs and it would put him at risk.

It was best to get rid of it and never tell Soundwave. No one needed to know who the sire was. If they did. Both of them could be killed for treason. Even though Soundwave didn't love him he did and he couldn't let him get hurt. He needed to protect him.

If anyone found out Soundwave had a sparkling much lesswith an Autobot. He would suffer gravely. People like Starscream would use it to their advantage. They'd blackmail him. Strip him of the position he worked so hard for. Megatron would either banish or kill him. He would lose everything and that wasn't fair. He shouldn't be punished, when he was the one who got sparked. He should have known his spark baffle was broken.

He never meant to keep the sparkling. He was going to get rid of it. Until he got news that Soundwave died. At the time he'd been devastated. With the death of Soundwave, it felt like his spark had been ripped out. While everyone else was celebrating he sunk into a depression. Looking at his belly he couldn't bring himself to kill the new spark. They were the last thing he had of Soundwave and maybe it was selfish, but he just couldn't do it.

Making his decision, the only thing he could hope for, was that the war ended before the new spark was born.

He never expected Soundwave to suddenly show up again, very much alive. The reports of his death being wrong. He'd felt a mix of emotions as he stared at the Decepticon. Again he debated telling him. He wanted to tell him. He was so lonely and carrying all alone was difficult. He was terrified of being a bad carrier. Of failing their sparkling. Being unable to raise them by himself.

He felt lost and confused. The more he debated. The more unwilling he was to tell Soundwave. He just couldn't bring himself to say the words. He was so scared and he knew Soundwave would leave him and he couldn't stand that. Not when he just got him back. He knew it was selfish and he tried to remind himself of his earlier reasons, for not telling him. He wanted to protect Soundwave and this was the only way. That's what he told himself over and over again. Whenever he felt guilty.

He never expected Soundwave to find out. He'd done such a good job hiding his carrying from Soundwave. He should have known better. Soundwave was the Decepticons spy master for a reason.

Eventually he found out. Coming back to his apartment one day. He'd been surprised to see him there. The Decepticon had confronted him. Demanding answers and he couldn't hold back the tears. He'd collapsed to the floor sobbing telling Soundwave that he understood if he hated him and wanted nothing to do with the sparkling. That he was sorry and that he should have known his spark baffle was broken. He was planning on getting rid of it and then he thought Soundwave was dead and he just couldn't get rid of it. He knew it was a bad time and that Soundwave didn't want it. He was so selfish and now Soundwave was in danger because of him.

Soundwave had stared at him in shock. He'd crouched down so they were at optic level. Even when he tried to hide his face in shame.

"What made you think I wouldn't want it?"

He stared up at Soundwave in shock.

"What?"

"I would have never abandoned you. I love you. I thought you understood that."

He stared at Soundwave in shock feeling tears in his optics.

"But the Decepticons?"

"Don't matter. You and our new spark are more important."

"You're not mad at me for being sparked?"

"Of course not. I'm upset that you didn't tell me. I should have known."

"I'm sorry. I just didn't want to ruin your career and everything you've worked so hard for."

"I don't care about being Megatron's third in command. Yes, being a Decepticon is important to me, it helped me gain freedom, but I won't stand by and let it destroy my family."

"What are we going to do now?"

"I want to be in the sparklings life. Even if I'm not an Autobot."

"I don't want to be alone. I want to come with you."

"But you don't want to be a Decepticon, not that it's safe."

Soundwave looked down at his swollen middle. Gently pressing a hand against it, he leaned towards him.

"What if we left?"

"What?"

He stared at Soundwave in shock.

"It seems like this war will never end. Optimus and Megatron are determined to rip each other apart rather than rebuild. I don't want our sparkling to grow up in a war or have parents who are on opposite factions. I think we should leave. Start over somewhere neutral. Where we can raise our sparkling together and they will know peace."

He continued staring at him in shock, while thinking it over. Leaving was their best option. He didn't want their sparkling to grow up in a war. As much as he loved the Autobots and his friends. He had to think about his family.

"Okay."

The two of them spent the night reuniting. Talking about their sparkling and coming up with plans to leave.

Green and orange/red - Toxicspittle, younger son of Lugnut and Strica. Young Decepticon, who's desperately doing everything he can to impress his creators. Tries to look cruel and strong, but, in fact, soft and friendly. He likes to prank others in the team, but very worried if his "jokes" hurt someone. Also, no one has a clue how, but he became the closest friend to Fluo.

Pink and red - Echolight, son of Ratchet and Arcee. About the same age as Optimus. Medic. Not as grouchy, as his sire, but still very moody. Feels paternal feelings for younger teammates. The loss of the carrier affected him very painfully, so, he tried to drown out the pain by raising Sunglow, when Optimus was busy. But, unfortunately, she also left him, leaving autobots for her sparkmate. That why, no wonder he's always gloomy

Purple and Yellow - Fluorite and Honeyfrost. Kids of Bumblebee and Blitzwing. Theres also another one, Flamestinger, but i were tired to draw her. Fluo - A very self-contained small jet, who doesnt know how to express his feelings. He endlessly loves all his creators and sisters, but he cant say it out loud. Due to constant self-criticism, he became a very easy target for one decepticon - Transfix - who recruited him into his faction. At first, Fluo believe, that he had found his place in this world, but the small jet was very very mistaken. Honeyfrost - the youngest one - the purest source of energy and happiness. She s very fragile, but, at the same time, inherited speed from her carrier, so she can running really fast Honey is caring and loves to make friends smile. Lost her voice during one incident, but even this couldnt stop her. She mastered new ways of talking, to chat even in silence. Although, deep down in the spark, she is really worried about it.

Yellow and red - Sunglow, older daughter of Optimus and Elita. Friendly, but very vindictive. She tries to solve all problems through the peace, but if someone hurt her, she will never forget about it. Very insightful and sensitive to other's problems. Devoted to friends, not fraction. She had to go through a lot in her life, which she would regret or be glad about. Terribly in love with Darkblade

Red and Pink - Darkblade, older son of Megatron and Starscream. He never received love from the creators, he knew that he was just a backup in case the older half-sister couldnt take the throne. He knew this...so he decided to play by his own rules. He didnt plan to kill his sire, but often secretly hindered his plans, throwing the blame on another. At first, he did it in spite, but later, he had a new reason. The reason was love for Sunglow. Blade was aware how dangerous it was, but it only warmed the excitement in him. Hes less aggressive, than other Decepticons, but is still very dangerous, if you mess with him or his sunny

Um stupid headcanon

What if Optimus Prime wasn’t really a prime but was a subject to a form of shadowplay but not only just messing with his personality, his mind too. Orion Pax was depicted to be a more peaceful happy go lucky type of mech while Optimus is a stoic leader type. I got this idea when I was creating an oc and just thought, “hey what if the Matrix of Leadership was actually a faux story to control ‘out of control’ mechs.” What I mean is, they (the counsel probably) could have used the Matrix in replace for Megatronus’s life (when in reality they were tricking him into becoming a weapon to use against Megatronus’s forces) If Orion agreed to become “a prime” then they would spare Megatronus’s life. (I’m sure you can tell I read too many MegOp fanfics) the Matrix in TFP seemed pretty good at wiping Optimus memory when he got the so called Matrix’s power back.

(My headcanon was: my oc- Sino Prime was Orion’s sire because through my little research I never found who Orion’s real sire or carrier were- or he didn’t have one idfk.)

In my mind Orion Pax was already a prime or becoming one in age (aka a young prime that didn’t know his full ability) when he met Megatronus (and we all know they became friends and whatnot) so when the decepticons began to form the counsel noticed and needed to find a way to stop this from happening so they developed a different shadowplay that could completely wipe someone’s processor to a clean slate, making them forgot who they were and what they stood for. They knew how close the two were (because they make it pretty obvious). Sino who found out about their plans a little later (on the day Megatronus and Orion came to convince the counsel they’re wrong) which made him grow weary of what was to come next. This part I actually got from a fanfic (forgot the name but I’ll try to find it) where the counsel purposely pissed off Megatron so Orion then took over. The counsel only listened to Orion and gave him a offer to help save Megatronus’s life (I don’t think that part was in it but I’m trying). Orion being the loyal bean agreed thinking he was helping out the cause only to be tricked. When Sino found them he tried to stop them but the counselors had already done the deed (ps I didn’t want to make Sino disrupt the story too bad so I kept him lowkey- he’s still a prime and strong but yeah... I know how some peeps are when some make their oc too important when the story isn’t about them- anywho). The counselors had completely wiped his mind, the once happy archivist was now a stoic machine ready to battle. (Since the Matrix I believe changes frames so ye) The counsel renamed him and made new Optimus Prime try and offline Sino. Instead of offlining him they put him in stasis (because I’m also one of those people who hate to kill off their faves) for the rest of his life. Then the rest is history and we all knew how that went. All in all Optimus Prime is a weaponnn. The Matrix of Leadership is a cap to block the real spark from their own frame and replaced with a hollow shell.

Edit: ok remember when I said hollow, yeah so I thought something up. After a long while of war I can imagine he begins gaining his own personality as Optimus since he begins to care a little for those around him (ex: not being able to offline Megatron when he was at his mercy). Or once something causes the program to start running a little more hardcore along with the older he gets; the weaker and more outdated the program becomes making it easier for Orion to try and come through.

Was this ass? Yes. Did I think of this in like 10 minutes? No, it was 5 minutes. Are you cringing? Yes. Anywho thanks to those who wasted their time and read this :) I appreciate it. Ok time o go back in my hole of creating more tf ocs...
