i had a dream about kevandreil today and it actually made sense!

pre baltimore: neil and andrew are dancing around eachoder, kissing but not admitting they are together, like in the story. its clear that kevin is a bit into both of them, especially andrew since they have a longer relationship (recent at least). andreil like kevin too but are unsure how to approach that.

when neil starts getting the texts he encourages andrew to kiss kevin and get with him, saying its okay and that he wants to join too, but will do so later. its suggested that kevandrew happens. the next day neil goes to baltimore, thinking that andrew has kevin now and that he can forget about neil.

in my dream neil escapes baltimore himself and doesnt meet the foxes again until years later. he goes to see andrew who broke up with kevin and they get together again, but it takes time (maybe all 3 of them?).

it could also happen that the foxes meet neil again like in canon, but andrew is angry because neil thought kevin could replace him. drew doesnt choke kevin though, they go through their neil loss together, even if k knew what he did.
