her zanpakuto is one of the coolest and most unique out there, ngl. also she’s just a badass in general. she, without hesitation, wanted to cut off her own arm to save her life, that’s so metal! (also, whenever other characters manage to calm her down and ease her harsh attitude, she’s really cute.)

least favorite thing about them

kubo really put soi fon’s clear lesbianism in a negative light, much like characters like chizuru. it still bothers me immensely how disrespectful he was in his portrayal of lesbians. soi fon, you deserved so much better!

soi fon keeps her office space bare and immaculate because she thinks it looks professional. and while her personal quarters are kept clean, she has a huge problem with clutter due to keeping decades worth of products with black cats on them. but she never allows anyone in her personal quarters except yoruichi anyway, so her cluttering problem seems to not matter much.

soi fon is a good fun cool character and the reason why people are hard on her but not characters who are way worse but still on the side of good is literally just misogyny.
