sometimes when you're working on a project that involves child characters you have to do something to remind yourself of the whole "This is a Child in this situation, not a short adult" part of things. just to keep it all in perspective.

#Like writing that last thing it was easy to lose sight of the whole Esti was a Kid.#A little one! He still regularly waking up and going to sleep in his mothers bed bc of nightmares #he was in the target demographic for roblox and pokemon and he was put in a situation where he thought his mother was going to #let a stranger kill and eat him.#Kid was Completely justified in hiding as soon as he realized Pavo was a safe for him person to be around and would let him #hide under his cloak.#and thats hard to remember sometimes because im used to thinking of him and writing him as a 20 something yo #whos an apprentice to a warlord and has already seen battle.
