gone fishin' |dad!rockstar!eddie munson x nepo baby!reader|
prompt: doing my own prompt again from #munnysummergame. domestic fluff with dad!rockstar!eddie :)
🐙- domestic blurb!! any of the dad!eddie’s take their kids to stay with wayne for a mini vacation (or staycation if they’re in hawkins). I love grandpa!wayne and dad!eddie make my ovaries cry.
contains: fluff lol. that's it no warnings just sweet dad!rockstar!eddie and grandpa wayne :)
"I mean... if you want to." Eddie's grimacing face says it all, eyes darting from his uncle back to his youngest.
Vega bounced on the tips of her toes, a grinning, bubbling ball of energy, ecstatic to be back with Grandpa Wayne. The summer trip back to Hawkins, before spending the remainder of July in the Hamptons, was annual for the Munson family. Wayne traveled to you when he could, but in his older age you wanted to make it easier on him, more accommodating; the opposite of keeping baby Vega.
At four years old, she was...energetic, and that was generous. Eddie had invested in a leash after her dash down Rodeo Drive, the ever chaotic child that kept you all on your toes. While you didn't doubt that Wayne would take care of Vega, you knew he would, you worried, truthfully, if he could.
Wayne lifted a brow. "Well, of course I want to, boy." Wayne gruffed, eyes rolling over Eddie's rigid frame. Even as a grown man, a father, he could tell when he was uneasy about something, read him so easily. "You don't want me to?"
"No," Eddie shook his head. "It's not that. It's just...I mean as long as you feel up to it-"
"I feel fine, Ed." Wayne rolled his eyes with a huff.
"Yeah, Ed." Vega parroted with a far greater attitude than she should at four. You blamed Persephone, Vega was observant- copying the seventeen year old's every move.
"Vega Jo," Eddie glared at her, a stern warning glare that had her giggling, hanging on Wayne's leg, laughing maniacally at his expense. Not quite the reaction he was hoping for, only praying that the name didn't stick. Not the way 'mother fucker' had- the drop off line at the elementary school is brutal, ok?
Wayne pressed his lips together to fight back a smile. "You go on. Go to Mike's party, and I'll take care of this one." Wayne petted Vega's unruly curls, already puffing and frizzing in the Hawkins' humidity.
"Are you sure?" Eddie asked again.
Wayne huffed in annoyance. "We're goin' fishing', Miss Vega. Tell you Daddy and Mama bye." Wayne glared at Eddie lightly, pushing off the wall to head towards the garage.
"What's going on?" You emerged down the hall, lipstick in hand. "Where's Vega going?"
"Grandpa's taking me fishing!" Vega cheered excitedly, a wide toothy grin dazzling up at you.
"Is he?" You asked, brows raised and voice lilting to that high octave you fell into when you baby talked. "That sounds like so much fun, baby. Is it just you and Grandpa?"
"Yes." Vega lisped, swinging her arms back and forth by her side. "Jus' me and Grandpa. Not you, or Sicily, or Sephy, or-or Ed." She giggled wickedly.
You hid your face to hide your smile. Fuck, kids were funny sometimes. It was hard not to snicker at Vega every now and then, especially at Eddie's expense. Sicily and Sienna didn't hold the same courtesy, doubling over each other in the hallway. Eddie glared at them, turning back to Vega.
"You better stop that, Vega. Or you're not going anywhere. I'll make you come with me." Eddie pointed at her in warning.
You watched it unfold in slow motion, the same scenario. Vega's little grin melting into a sweet smile, swaying until she scampered and hugged Eddie's legs tightly.
"I jus' kiddin', Daddy." Vega grinned, chin resting against his knee to look up at him with a sweet look. She patted his calve with childlike gentleness, the final nail in his own coffin.
You could practically see Eddie melting before your eyes, reaching down to hoist her on his hip. You hid your eye roll, shaking your head lightly. Your heart swelled nonetheless. How was this the same man you met nearly twenty years ago? The same rough and mean and nasty man, who now could be so gentle, not just with you and the girls, but with himself.
Eddie gave her an exaggerated mean look. "You better be kidding, Vega Jo. Better be good for Grandpa Wayne."
"Yes," You nodded, your hand rubbing over the cotton material of her little shirt. "Look at Mommy, baby. You have to be very, very good for Grandpa, ok? Listen to him and no running, Vega. That's not a funny game at all."
"I won't." Vega sighed heavy, like she was bored of the conversation.
"Vega, I'm being serious. You gotta stay close to Grandpa. Do what he says- are you listening to me?" You watched her tip back in a backbend, Eddie's arms holding her in place on his hip. She looked up at you, upside down with a grin.
"I'll be good." Vega repeated. "I'll listen."
"Yeah, right." Kensington muttered, passing the two of you to get to the kitchen.
"Kensie." You grit, eyes cutting to the fifteen year old, so angsty and moody all the time.
"I am good!" Vega growled, scowling at her older sister with a furrowed brow, a scrunched nose- the same expression she got from you. The look on Eddie's face told you that.
"Ok," You held your hands up. "You are very good. Very, very good, and you're gonna have so much fun catching fish with Grandpa, aren't you?"
"I-I'm gonna catch a big fish, like this big Mama." Vega stretched her arms out wide, nearly smacking Eddie's nose in the process.
"Yeah? You gonna bring it home? We can fry it up tonight. Dinner's on you." Eddie teased, tickling her sides so she shrieked.
"Ready to go?" Wayne called, holding a tackle box and two fishing poles- an old, black one and a bright pink one with various Disney Princesses on it.
Vega squirmed out of Eddie's grasp, flip flops smacking against the hardwood of the lake house towards the front door. "Be good, Vega!" You shouted after her, nervously pressing your fingers to your mouth. "I have my phone, Wayne, if you need anything-"
"-I got it, darlin'. You all go have fun. Don't worry 'bout us." Wayne gave you a warm smile, shutting the door with his foot behind him.
You hesitated for a moment, looking over at Eddie carefully. "She'll be good, right? He's got it."
"Vega? No way." Eddie scoffed, shaking his head. "But he's got her. He won't let anything happen to her." You frowned, lips jutting in a pout. Eddie sighed heavily. "I'll go check on them after a little bit, ok? In case it gets too much."
***
Eddie wasn't sure if it was the heat or surely someone had slipped something in his drink. He'd felt fine, pressing a kiss to your cheek before excusing himself, climbing in the car to go check on Vega. The best part about Hawkins was everywhere took ten minutes to get to, at most. The lake house was on the outskirts of town, a farther drive, but nothing he couldn't get to quickly.
Eddie didn't hear shrieking or crying or cackling, only hearing the eerily quiet sound of the breeze through the trees and the water rippling. His heart lurched, heavy steps pounding towards the back yard. The lawn that backed up into the lake, the bank meeting the soft grass where he saw them; Vega and Wayne, sitting in their own little chairs.
Vega was calmly sitting there, watching the bobber in the water, her own little pole slipping while she chatted with Wayne softly.
"...You don't like them Webkinz anymore? They not doin' it for ya?" Wayne asked gently, reeling in his line.
"No. I don't-I don't really like them anymore, because I like to play on the Wii. Me and Zarah play Just Dance a lot, but she alwaaayyys beats me." Vega sighed heavily, shoulders deflating. "She's so good at it. She can hit all the moves."
Wayne snorted lightly. "Yeah? You'll get there soon, Vega. She's a lot older than you, bigger. She's got more coordination."
Vega paused, nose scrunching when she looked over at Wayne. "What's coorginmasion?" She stuttered out the word with a grimace.
Wayne laughed. "Coordination. Means you can move quick. You'll get there. You're still little bitty. Got lots more growin' to do."
"Daddy tells me that too." Vega hummed. "He's really tall. Got lotsa co-or-di-nation." She sounded it out slowly, in between deep breaths that had Eddie grinning.
Wayne grinned. "Yeah? You'd think he would. Your Daddy can be a little clumsy sometimes."
Vega giggled loudly, nearly dropping her pole. "Yeah..." She sighed, far too heavy to be four. She'd definitely heard that from you or Eddie.
"Catch any big ones yet?" Eddie asked with a grin, arms crossed over his chest when he stepped forward.
Vega perked, curls whipping her face. "Daddy! You sneaked!" She giggled, swinging her pole around, ripping it through the water to point at him accusingly.
"Easy, Vega, easy. Gotta be gentle. Scarin' all the fishies, baby." Wayne cooed calmly, maneuvering his own pole away. "What're you doin' here, boy?"
"Just came to check on you. Make sure everything was alright." Eddie hummed. "Catch anything yet, Vegie?"
"No." Vega pouted, shaking her head. "No big ones. Grandpa said they're probably in the middle of the lake 'cause that's where all the sunshine is."
"Yeah?" Eddie grinned in amusement. "He's probably right."
Eddie sat down on the cool grass next to them, under the shaded trees, a hand on Vega's back to steady her on her makeshift chair, a turned over bucket. "Guess no dinner then, huh?"
Wayne huffed at him. Vega shrugged. "Grandpa has honey buns so we're good." She said easily, eyes cutting over to Wayne's, copying the way he slowly reeled his line in.
"Honey buns?" Eddie gasped. "And you didn't share any with me, Grandpa?"
"No. They're just for us." Vega declared.
"That's right." Wayne nodded. "Vega said we should use 'em for bait. The fish might like 'em." He grinned at the younger girl.
Eddie watched in awe as Vega sat peacefully, not fidgeting or bouncing or trying to jump off the bucket. She sat, chatting with Wayne, calmly and slowly, careful with her reeling and casting- well, as careful as a four year old could be.
Eddie felt his phone buzz in his back pocket, a text from you, no doubt. "Well, if you two are good, I'm gonna go back." Eddie hesitated, standing slowly.
"We're alright." Wayne nodded, eyes not leaving the water.
Eddie hesitated, leaning down to press a kiss to Vega's head, before ducking over to Wayne. "Did you... Did you give her something?" Eddie asked quietly. Wayne's head snapped to him in question. "Like to calm her down? I don't care if you did just-"
"Boy, get out of here." Wayne scoffed, shaking his head at Eddie. "We're just having a nice, relaxin' fishin' day, right, Vega?" He glared at Eddie.
"Yes." Vega chirped, tongue poking out in concentration, turning the gears around.
"I got it handled." Wayne nodded. "Handled you for many years, boy, think I can handle this one."
Eddie nodded, raising his hands lightly. "Just call me if you need me." He said, backing away slowly.
"I got it." Wayne huffed. "Get outta here so we can get another honey bun. Let's see if them fishies like it, Vega. Maybe that'll help 'em bite."
Sure enough, Vega was bounding towards the two of you hours later, buzzing with excitement to show you what she caught. A bass in the bucket, swimming in the half filled orange container.
Wayne grinned proudly, patting her back while she rambled and showed off her fish to you, Eddie, and her sisters.
"She caught this?" Eddie asked, lifting a brow carefully.
"With her pink fishin' rod." Wayne laughed. "Caught that damn fish. Wouldn't touch it and didn't want it to die, so we put it in the bucket 'til you got back. She wanted to show ya." He boasted.
"Damn honey bun trick worked. 'Bout to use that one on my next fishin' trip with Roy." Wayne laughed.

Mike Wheeler x fem!reader smut

MINORS DNI
Smut warnings: Painful sex, unprotected p in v, breeding kink, daddy kink, mommy kink, cockwarming, light somno, creampie, wet and messy, vague nod to virginity kink? Dirty talk, soft dom Mike, light humiliation.
Description: Mike’s girlfriend is struggling with sex being painful and is very insecure about it, spiralling internally because she really struggles to voice her feelings. Mike Wheeler just wants to take care of people.
**MIKE IS 20 HERE**
This is some self-serving bullshit fr
She had been so fucking difficult for him all day. She was clearly in a mood of some sort, and he couldn’t quite tell what it was about, and it was starting to really upset him. She always had roller coaster emotions, but it was evidently clear that she couldn’t seem to stay on ‘happy’ or ‘content’ for very long at all, sticking more around the area of looking grumpy, frustrated, or sometimes devastated.
He tried being nice about it, he put every ounce that he had into being patient and gentle and sweet, but his soft words and rubbing her back were met with a faraway and glassy-eyed look, his girl shrinking in on herself and almost holding back tears. And in the end, he’d never been very patient as a person.
That being said, he was enjoying getting to play this side of the board for once. It was in her nature to be nurturing, to look after him, to make him feel safe and happy and warm. Mike rarely ever got to do the same. Mike got called daddy because she liked to say it, and because it’s nice to hear. But he very rarely got to act in such a way that would be considered just purely being a caretaker for her, and he liked it quite a bit.
Well, he liked it when she wasn’t being a fucking brat about it. The tears and the pouting made his heart ache, but they were always quickly preceded or followed by frowning, snapping, fighting. He liked those things when he knew she wasn’t upset, but this time she clearly was. And for some reason, that didn’t stop his body reacting how it usually did when she made some scathing comment towards him.
It didn’t help that in between outwardly sour moods she was actively teasing him. He was trying to keep himself in line based on how her moods were changing, how fucking sad she seemed to be, but he was so fucking horny. His cock was rock hard and leaking in his jeans and she was sucking on his neck while they tried to watch a movie, and he was only a man.
He angled himself towards her a little more, playing with her hair with the arm he had around her while the other teasing at the flesh of her thigh. It seems to spur her on, which spur him on, until both were moaning into the other's mouth, palming each other through their clothes.
“Want you,” he breathed into her mouth, receiving only a whimpered cry in response as she straddled him. She was rocking against him helplessly, tears in her eyes and her face red. He cupped her face, making her look at him properly. “Are you going to tell me what’s wrong, baby?”
She shook her head petulantly, diving down to kiss him but he dodged. “Why won’t you tell me what’s wrong, princess?”
He only ever used princess genuinely, in a situation so genuinely vulnerable that he could only mean it with his whole heart. It was never meant to be cruel, unlike some of the others, just to let her know he adored her more than anything else in the world, usually when she was having a bad day.
“Don’t….don’t wanna.” She whispered. “Hard to talk about.” And she wasn’t lying either. The words felt stuck in her throat, stuck behind all the intrusive thoughts that were causing her tears, stuck behind fear and insecurity. “I just….can I try to talk about it later? It’s just hard to get to, and I….need this right now.”
And really, that was scary enough for her to do as it was. His chest filled with warmth and pride, smiling up at her and nodding as he pulled her back down to him. “Sweet girl, telling me what she needs. I appreciate your honesty, babygirl, I know it’s hard for you.”
He was at a crossroads here, though. Usually, if she’d acted this way, he’d be taking her down. Verbally, physically, he’d be trying to turn the tide of her behaviour through any punishment or humiliation necessary. But he didn’t think punishment would do any good this time, and he could tell she was humiliated enough as it was, so he had to carefully reconsider how he’d go about it before proceeding.
“You needy, baby?” He asked gently, pushing her shirt up her stomach and over her head, exposing her breasts to the bedroom that had seen them so many times before. He grazed his fingertips over them, carefully brushing over her nipples, trying to ease her into some state of complete submission. “You’ve been a bit bratty all day because you’re desperate for me, is that it?”
He was soft, rather than condescending as he spoke. She needed to be kept humiliated enough to stay at his mercy while not so much that she’d talk back. Plus, she liked it when he degraded her lightly, lovingly. She liked being forced to pout and nod and avoid looking him in the eye, humiliated and aroused and humiliated again.
Her underwear was damp already under his fingertips, and he made a sympathetic sound as he rubbed her over them. “So wet for me already, and I’ve barely touched you, love. It’s ok, you can’t help it. Look at you, all pretty and ruining your panties for me. So good for me, baby. Making me so hard.”
She whimpered again, pushing her hips against his hand and his cock. He moved his hand away, pulling her down to kiss her again, slotting their lips together and dipping his tongue into her pliant mouth, relishing how soft and needy and submissive her mouth was to him. He moved her from his lap and onto her back on the couch, situating himself between her legs and continuing his exploration of her mouth while he ground his hips into hers.
“You want my cock, baby?” He asked, grinding hard and slow against her. She didn’t answer, only grinding back. “Honey….” he pushed, dipping to suck at her breasts. “I would like an answer please.”
She continued her refusal, pouting a little when he drew back to look at her. He sighed, kissing her cheek and her temple and her nose, stopping with his nose pressed to hers and his eyes on hers.
“Wanna be really nice to you, princess, and all I’m asking is for you to tell me you want my cock.” He spoke gently, still slightly sad that she had looked so upset all day. “‘m not going to punish you. You were so brave telling me you need this earlier, but now I’m asking you to tell me what you need before I give it to you.”
She bit into her lower lip, looking somewhat frightened at having to say it out loud. She blinked up at him, trying to find the right words.
“Could you help?” She asked timidly, playing with her fingers and looking far too adorable for someone almost naked and spread out beneath him.
“I’m tryna help, honey, just want you to say-“
“No, I mean…. wanna say it, wanna tell you what I need, but need your help. Please. Just this once.”
This was another big thing for her to admit. It seemed intriguing to say the least that she was more willing to ask for help than to just tell him she wanted him inside her, but that was her contrarian nature. He nodded, pressing another kiss to her lips before snaking his hand down between them.
“So wet, baby, gonna make such a mess on the couch. Love it when you’re messy for me, darlin’,” he smiled to himself, rubbing on her drenched panties before pulling them aside lightly to touch her properly. “Fuck, baby, Jesus Christ,” he moaned, pushing his hips against her thigh as his fingers met her core. “So needy for me, so good, so fucking good.”
She was pushing her hips shakily against him, unsatisfied by how he refused to push into her, refusing to touch her to a rhythm. “Please, Mike.”
“Please what, babygirl?” He asked, eyes lust-blown and smouldering as they searched her face. “Are you ready to ask for what you need?”
She blinked a little, shaking her head. “‘m sorry…”
“Don’t be sorry, baby, don’t be sorry…” she whimpered when he removed his hand, sitting up on his knees and pulling her underwear down her thighs. “You’re ok, baby, you’re alright. Promise I’ll take care of you. Gonna get you to say what you need and then ‘m gonna give it to you, ok my good girl?”
Honestly, it was a bit of a blessing to have to tease this out of her. She’d been struggling so much recently with sex, being unable to relax properly and feeling pain when she put anything inside her little hole, so he would relish this chance to get her nice and ready before filling her with his cock. He stroked along her folds, feeling a rush of arousal at how wet she was, before working a finger inside her. She clenched around him, and he heard her gasp lightly.
“Did that hurt?” He whispered, easing himself down beside her. She nodded.
“Yeah…. not a lot, but a little bit. Just at the very start.”
“Ok, baby, I’ll be super careful.” He used his thumb on her clit, working her over gently and paying attention to how she clenched and unclenched on his finger in intervals. He chanced a second finger and was met without resistance or reaction. “Was that ok?”
She nodded, giving a small smile. “Yeah, Mikey, thank you for being gentle with me.”
“That’s alright, princess, anything for you…”
He worked slowly, carefully bringing her to a comfortable place, stretching her out by scissoring with his two fingers before adding a third. She was squirming lightly, wishing for more focused attention, wishing to be allowed to cum. “Please, Mike, want it-“
“What do you want, baby?”
She faltered, looking up at him pleadingly. “More.”
He smiled, adding a fourth finger and pumping into her carefully, allowing her to feel good for a moment. “Gonna give you everything you ask for, beautiful, promise.”
He was putting more care into her than he would if she were a virgin, which she hadn’t even been when they’d met. “Do you ever wish our first times had been together?”
He’d asked quite calmly for someone who had half his hand inside this whimpering mess of a girl who was moaning into his shoulder. “Mhm. Wish you were the first in my body, Mikey.”
He could tell she was close to relenting enough to answer his question as she was calling him Mikey. That was always a funny turn of events.
“I could be, baby. Just gotta tell me what you want. What you need.”
The thought of treating her like a needy little virgin had him throbbing again. He hoped she said it soon so he could play with her how he wanted to.
“Need you, Mikey. Need you inside me….need your cock, daddy.”
He was beyond relieved. He kissed her sweetly, affectionately, before whispering: “Thank you, princess.”
He fucked her as nicely as he could manage, working tirelessly to ensure it didn’t hurt her like it had before. They really did make a mess, his cum leaking out of her and adding to the pool of her arousal on the blanket that covered the couch cushions for this exact reason.
They remained entangled, Mike not even bothering to pull out of her as they settled into a state of dreamy relaxation together. She seemed more present, more stable now, so he chanced asking his initial question once more.
“Can you tell me what’s wrong, honey?” He planted kisses on her face and her jaw and her shoulder, trying to make her feel as safe as possible while she considered what she had to say.
“I’ve been….in my head. About how it hurts to have sex. It’s been making me self-conscious, insecure kind of. Sometimes it spirals and I can’tI can’t remember that you want me, and I think I’m broken, and that you can’t possibly want me anymore.”
He looked at her, unable to mask his devastation. “No…that’s not…that’s not true, baby, please don’t think that.”
They stayed there, talking about it until they both drifted off to sleep.
***
It can’t have been more than half an hour later when Mike blinked back awake, hot and hard from the dream he’d been having about….well, exactly this, actually. She was still asleep, and his cock was buried deep in her cunt, ready to use her again greedily and fill her up again.
He kissed her lightly, over her eyelids, forehead, cheeks, until she was blinking awake and wiggling beneath him. His breath turned ragged, his eyes fluttering closed and his mouth dropping open as she clenched around him.
“Hi, baby…” she whispered, voice husky with sleep. She lifted her hand to cup his jaw, bringing him down to kiss her again. “Like waking up like this.”
“Me too,” he rasped, kissing her deeper. He rolled his hips into her, groaning quietly. “‘s it hurt?”
She shook her head, pushing into him sleepily. “Feels good. Gonna fuck me again, daddy? Gonna breed me, breed my needy little cunt?”
Yeah, this is a lot like that dream.
His thrusts picked up speed, and she picked up in volume, spitting all sorts of filthy words at him while he got himself off in her again.
“Fuck, ‘m gonna knock you up this time, baby, gonna leave so much of my seed in you that you’ll have no choice but to have my baby. Fu-uck, mommy, so good around me. Can feel you’re close - you getting off on me breeding you? So filthy, baby, wanting to be a mommy for me just because you like my cock so much.”
He could feel her pulsing around him, a tell-tale sign that she was about to cum around him again, and he’d be a goner when she did. She was moaning, still sleepy but so relaxed and content being at his mercy, feeling her orgasm build and not having to do a thing to push for it. It was going to be intense, and she was powerless to stop it.
“Mikey, ‘m gonna cum, gonna make a mess, can’t help it, ‘m sorry-“
“Don’t be sorry, baby, I’m desperate for it. Wanna see my good girl come apart on my cock for me, oh fuck, just like that - let go, honey, that’s it-“
She arched up into him, moaning sinfully as she spilled onto him, coating his cock and their thighs in her, soaking the blanket beneath them. She was still cumming in waves, gripping onto his arm while he fucked her through it, filling her with his release before she’d had the chance to come down.
“Oh my God,” he panted, feeling the rolling ecstasy slowly abate. “Oh my God.”
He pulled out of her carefully, sitting back on his heels and marvelling at the image before him. “Why is it that the hottest visuals always come after it’s over? I don’t wanna wait a few hours to get off over this.”
She giggled dazedly, shifting slightly before he stopped her with a hand on both her knees, holding her thighs apart. “What is it?”
“Can I take a picture of you?” He asked, brain somewhere else entirely. Her eyes widened, and she nodded slowly.
“Don’t want my face in it, please,” she whispered, leaving her legs open while he got his phone. He snapped the photo before reaching a hand down to help her up.
“Messy girl needs to take a shower.” he teased, tickling her sides as he pushed her towards the door, laughing at the face she made.
“Please don’t, there is so much cum in me.” She grimaced as it leaked out of her.
“Good.”

Q! Brazilians Background, Lore and Summary, as I could gather from Day One
Backstory:
Felps is at fault for crashing the boat, he didn't had a license for controlling the ship since he thought it was just like riding a bike
Pac, Mike and Cellbit already have a story together, Pac and Mike have been previously betrayed and saw friends die due to Cellbit's fault
Pac and Mike are a Duo, Do Not Separate
Cellbit and Felps have been friends for ages
Pac and Mike have a backstory when dealing with Herobrine, coming from an old rp series called "Herobrine: The Legend", where they started getting haunted by Herobrine at age 14, managed to banish it around their 17s, and then it came back to haunt them when they were 19, and its still around
Forever had a lover, Brunim, that looks eerily similar to Phil and it's the reason Forever is obsessed with Phil and took such a hit when Phil kept pushing him away
Q!Characters server lore and summary:
Forever has brought weed with him in the boat, and made a deal with Quackity to create a prison, lock up everyone, and get rich with a drug empire
Later, all Brazilians agreed to make a mafia without anyone else knowing
When Richarlyson was adopted, first thing they all did was teach him how to steal quick and then how to kill. That diamond sword of his is crazy
Forever didn't care much for Richarlyson at first, leaving him with the other 4
He went after Philza, finding him with Tallulah, Chayenne, Dapper and BBH. He and Phil fought when Phil offered to help him build a home, when Forever wanted to live with him
Forever then said he didn't want Philza as his sugar daddy anymore, and left their place crying
He then decided he'd build a prison and lock up Phil to force Phil to love him
Forever got tricked by Quackity at first into believing Tallulah was Q's child and that Phil had kidnapped her and vowed to help
Later, when Cellbit went find Forever, Quackity tried to convince him of the same. Cellbit talked to BBH and made a deal to get some itens or else he'd help Quackity get Tallulah, BBH payed him
Quackity and Cellbit fought, Quackity started berating all the eggs, and Cellbit stepped in when Quackity talked about Richas, saying Q only hated the eggs because he had none
Quackity jumped off the wall, and so Cellbit felt guilty and offered 1% of Richas' paternity to Q, who accepted
Meanwhile, Pac, Mike and Felps were almost dying to a LOT of mobs while trying to find a place to settle. Richas was honestly the MVP here bc he defended all 3 of them when they barely had armor and weapons
(Between these two things happening, Forever was trying to find Pac, Mike and Felps)
They regrouped and everyone grumpily accepted Q as one of Richarlyson's dad, they had settles over a couple of mounts and decided they'd build a big house complex on the hillside (A favela)
Suddenly, they saw a white man walking around and Richarlyson had disappeared. Out Of Character, what happened was that the mod Richas' admin was using crashed and he stopped looking like an egg, but Quackity managed to save it lore wise by saying it was Osito Bimbo/Cucurucho that had kidnapped Richas so everyone went with that as well
Richarlyson showed up fine couple mins later
While everyone went out to gather wood and food, Cellbit went with Richas to mine
As they were digging down, Richas fell into a cave, with Cellbit immediately jumping for him and managing to kill some mobs and get Richas out of there
He told Richas to not tell his other dads that they fell into the cave, but else they went down carefully
Cellbit met Felps building, and got him to go down with him and Richarlyson to the cave
This is when Richas died
Cellbit immediately held Felps to make up a lie to make up for their failure. They settled in saying a "Cloaked figure with white eyes, probably a Necromancer, invoked tens of Skeletons that killed them and Richas", hoping to take advantage of Pac and Mike's trauma with Herobrine to be believed
Cellbit's plan worked when Pac immediately asked if it was Herobrine who took Richas' life, but when Q overheard the talk he said it was probably Cucurucho again who killed the egg
After this, things became more chill with Richas. He stayed with Mike building their favela while Pac and Cellbit went down to mine
Here is when the things get a bit more freaky, Pac and Cellbit went all the way down to bedrock and found a weird, man-made cave system, lightened up with torches. It didn't seem like strip mining, since there were literally no holes in the walls that would indicate that an ore was mined out
They kept exploring and ended up lost and had to dig their way up
All the time they joked it was Cucurucho's tunnels and he was going to be upset with them
Meanwhile, Forever got back worried for Richas' death, and so he stuck around to help protect him
Felps, Mike and Forever made a farm, and also a bed for Richarlyson, plus Mike had made a canvas and painted Richas a nice painting of him :)
Someone trapped a chest they had next to the farm, someone they just saw a glimpse of, and when Felps opened the chest, it exploded and killed him
Time passed and soon BBH came by to see how they were, he then noticed Osito Bimbo watching them and Forever and Cellbit chased him down, since he started running. Cellbit got distracted by BBH calling him and Forever kept chasing
BBH warned that Richas was too vulnerable by sleeping in the living room since people could just kill him when they weren't looking
So, naturally, they build a secret room behind a wall and locked Richarlyson in there with stone since they had no means to build a fancy door
Cellbit then talked to BBH in private, since BBH had similar characteristics as the Necromancer Cellbit had made up (white eyes, cloak) and asked BBH to pretend to be the Necromancer to help him out
BBH agreed
They finally managed to build a security door, locking Richarlyson in there (it's NOT a captivity room) and then covering the door with a painting
They all logged out after that
Richarlyson got his life back since it was his first day

The Elegance of Resilience Chapter 6: Daddy Issues
Chapter 6: Daddy Issues
Summary:
Father continues to berate Michonne then Rick argues with her Father.Rick and Michonne's disagreement about her father not talking about pregnancy. Rick needs air meet Daryl. Michonne and her parents argue (with dad mostly) about Rick, pregnancy, wedding, Mike, the children, her independence. Rick and Michonne have honest conversations. Michonne Rick and Sasha hosts a get-together.
Notes:
This kind of serves as a trigger warning for people who have experienced emotional abuse.
Michonne didn’t answer Reynard as fast as he would have liked. She withdrew from Rick's touch and swallowed hard, looking down, locked in a cycle of self-doubt.
“Michonne-”
“Amélie. Go on…”
Reynard cut Rick off, keeping his cold, dead gaze on his daughter. His voice was stern but soft. Her jaw trembled, making it hard to speak. She was wringing her hands under the table, trying to regain her composure.
“To be better-”
“I can’t hear you, Amélie.”
“To be better… I have to be better. Don’t make foolish mistakes, and give people room to talk. If I can’t honour you, do not shame you.”
“Reynard, please.” Marie pleaded to her husband.
“You disappoint me, dearest.” He placed his arm on the table and rubbed the crown of his head, as if to tell her he was fed up with her nonsense. He went on, however.
“Did I not give everything that others less fortunate than yourself would kill for? You went to the best schools, wore the best clothes, ate the best food... But most importantly, I taught you values. I taught you to work hard, to strive for greatness, to respect yourself... You are a woman and you are black, I made sure you never forgot that… I made sure you were the best, that you were number one in all your endeavours... Let me ask you this, Dearest. When was the last time you practised, hmm?”
“I take cases here and there!” Her voice rose hysterically.
“Watch your tone with me, girl.” His icy stare bore into her. “You have not practised in three months, and three months prior to that... Can’t find the time to take a case, but all the time to get pregnant... You can’t pay your bills by taking a case every three months… Living off your trust fund, no doubt.”
“What? Do you want to cut me off?" She let out a lengthy sigh, stretching her right hand out on the dining table, not looking at her father's emotionless face.
“No, nor would it be my place. If I had my way, you wouldn’t have had it in the first place, but alas, your mother will always have her way, even if it means to undermine me and spoil you... I have been the best father I could be. While your mother wanted to be your friend, I worked tirelessly and thanklessly to ensure you were the best version of yourself… I remember the first time you became valedictorian. You were four, and you came running, yelling, ‘Daddy! Daddy, look!'. You were so proud of yourself, and I was proud of you.” He had the slightest smile as he reminisced.
“It was that day I knew you were destined to be even better than me... Yet here you are. It hurts me to see you settle into this ball of mediocrity. How very disappointing.”
Her self-esteem began to collapse like a brittle sandcastle, damaged by the never-ending waves of negative thoughts crashing on the shores of her mind. Michonne let out a hollow laugh, and the tears she'd managed to hold back threatened to flow once more. She refused to cry in front of him for a second time, and she shot up from the table without saying anything, heading upstairs to her bedroom.
“Sweetheart, wait!” Marie rushed to meet her daughter.
Rick knew he should have gone after Michonne, but he had some choice words for the man before him. His muscles flicked angrily in the jaw, and his eyes gleamed with ruthless fire. Reynard challenged his gaze, smiling maliciously.
“Say what you want to say, boy.” Reynard popped another bottle of wine open and poured himself a glass.
“Do you get off on hurting your daughter?”
“What? Of course not.” His brows shot up at the insinuation. “If anything, she gets off on going against me. You aren’t the first; she did it with Mike as well, but she understood eventually. With a bit of tough love to push her, she’ll come around; my Amélie always does.”
His voice was much calmer with Rick, as if he wasn’t worth any extra energy. He tossed his wine around in the glass before taking a sip.
“But I have to say, Richard, Michael was a doctor; he had no children nor any long-winded drama or anger issues; however, I knew he wasn’t good enough—not for my daughter. He was weak, complacent, and selfish. Even when she accepted his proposal, I knew that she knew, it would never work. She was only twenty-two; she was driven, intelligent, and kind, with a deep love for life. My Amélie was destined for greatness, and she still is. Which confuses me as to why she chose you of all people. It’s been more than four years. It worries me that she might actually be serious about this long term.”
Rick blinked quickly, trying to grasp the incredible scene in front of him, his mind attempting to reconcile reality with the shock.
“You’re not serious, are you? It ain’t crossed your mind that we might actually love each other. I love her, she loves me. We're gonna get married. We got two children together. Thank you for delivering the news about the third, by the way.”
“You're very welcome, Richard. I think it’s a testament to your relationship that my daughter didn't tell you. Everything isn’t all dandy, as you say.”
“You're saying that she doesn’t love me?”
“No! No! My daughter doesn’t have a callous bone in her body. I’m sure her feelings for you are genuine, no matter how fleeting they are. What I am saying is that there must be a reason she hasn’t told you; she’s three months along, as I understand it to be. You didn’t even realise. You say you love my daughter, but I don’t believe that. I don’t think she believes it either.”
Reynard relished the simple excitement of living, savouring each sip of wine. It was as though his senses were heightened by his enjoyment. He couldn't stop smiling; his smile was dangerous but genuine, as if happiness had taken up residence on his face. Rick's face flushed bright red. He smashed his hand against the table, the piercing crackling echoing throughout the room, scattering pieces of broken glass and the remnants of his rage.
“I love Michonne; I’m in love with her whether you like it or not! She knows that!”
“If you loved her, you would have waited until you had your divorce instead of making her a glorified mistress. You wouldn’t have gotten her pregnant out of wedlock. How much has my Amélie sacrificed for you?”
Rick paced towards Reynard, the force of his footsteps a testament to the restless anger coursing through his veins. His finger pointed directly into Reynard's face as he cornered him. The older man smirked as he poured more wine into his glass and slanted back into his seat.
“What the hell do you know? You don't want her happy! You're gonna make it seem like you want what’s best for her; it’s all bullshit! You just want to control her. You’re gonna sit here and act like you care, but the truth is, you don’t like that you're losing control. It ain’t sitting right with you that someone else got influence over her!”
Reynard nodded enthusiastically, and his eyes grew wide with excitement as Rick invaded his space. He turned to meet his angry gaze.
“You said all of that just to ignore my question... Richard, I think that part of you knows...”
“What?”
“That part of you knows that you’re not good enough for my little girl. Part of you doubts the sanctity of your relationship. Part of you is afraid that one day she’s going to realise that you're not worth it.”
Rick stumbled back, briefly losing his footing, his body recoiling as if struck by an invisible force by the unexpected allegation levelled at him. As a prolonged moment of silence took hold, his breath stopped, caught in his throat. He looked at the man, trying to find the right words, before turning on his heel and walking up the stairs to his and Michonne's bedroom. Outside the door, he could hear two women talking in French. He didn’t bother to knock before he entered.
“Ah, tu es là, Richard! I’ll go clean up downstairs.” She kissed his cheek. “Amélie, prends ton temps. D'accord? Je t'aime.” She gave her child one last look.
And with that, Marie left, giving the couple their space. Rick walked to Michonne, whose eyes were red and puffy. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t maintain eye contact. She rubbed the backs of her crossed arms gently.
“We need to talk, Michonne.”
“Do we have to do this right now?”
“The baby thing? Yes! Yes, we do.” His voice had dropped an octave and was gritty.
“What do you want me to say, Rick?”
“How about you start with how long you’ve known, Chonne?”
“A little over a month...”
“A little over a month. And you didn’t think that I should know we’re gonna have another baby? I should’ve known! I should’ve been the first one to know!”
“I had my reasons, Rick! You know I did…”
“And yet it’s those reasons that concerns me! You made an active choice to hide your pregnancy from me for reasons I can’t even begin to comprehend… Your mother knows, and your father knows enough that he can throw it in our fucking faces! Let me guess: Sasha knows as well, which would make me the last to know. Ain’t that just fucking something?”
“I didn’t tell you because of everything going on. Lori, Judith, and the stress of everything else! You had so much on your plate. I was waiting for the right time.”
“And when was the right time, hmm?”
“Rick…”
She couldn’t answer, nor did he want her to. She reached out to grab his arm, but he pulled away from her, and her shoulders slumped. The room felt suffocating; the air was heavy with an oppressive sadness that clung to every corner.
“The truth is, you don’t trust me to be man enough and deal with my shit. Like I’m a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. I see it in how you treat me when I deal with other people. I know I got my issues, but you got no right like I’m some broken toy. Part of you agrees with your father-”
“That’s not true!”
“We both know it’s true! You’ve never defended me in front of your father. Not once.”
He rubbed his hand over his face after watching a tear fall from Michonne's eyes. She held his hand.
“Rick, baby, I don’t want to fight.”
“I don’t wanna fight either. I don’t wanna say something I can’t take back, so I’m gonna go.”
“Where? Baby, it’s late!”
“Daryl’s”
“That’s an hour's drive-”
“I know. I’m a grown man… Look, I ain't gonna go on some rave, okay? This thing, with your father and the baby, I just need time to get my thoughts straight.”
He took his phone, his baseball cap, and his jacket and left. Michonne sat on her bed and hugged her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth, seeking solace in the rhythm of her own desolation as she thought of all that happened tonight.
…
“Hey, man. You didn’t call.”
“You got someone coming over or something.”
“No. What’s going on? Trouble in paradise?”
“My father-in-law’s in town. Let's just say we had an oh-so-colourful dinner…”
Rick threw himself on the couch, putting his arm over his face to cover his eyes from the light. Daryl went to the kitchen to grab two beers to join him.
“Michonne’s pregnant. Found out tonight.”
“What? You ain’t want it?”
“That ain’t the problem. Her father is the one who let the cat out the bag. She hid it.”
“She ain’t want it?”
“It’s not that... I know she thinks I can’t handle another kid. And not just another kid; she doesn’t think me reliable at all. She’s gonna start showing soon. How long was she gonna hide it for?”
“She said that?”
“No, but I know it.”
“Rick-”
“If we didn’t have the boys, I got no doubt she would have left me a long time ago. I know it.”
“Rick, that girl loves you.”
“Yeah. Well, love ain’t everything; you, of all people, should know that.”
“Leah and Michonne ain’t the same. Come on, Rick. You ain’t exactly been the best partner, Rick. This ain’t the 1950s; if she wanted to leave, trust me, she would, especially if her daddy been begging her for years. Them kids ain’t gonna stop shit. Stay the night; clear your head, but you're gonna go home in the morning.”
“Hey, Michonne wanted to have a small get-together on Friday; you coming? It’s for the weekend.”
“Alright, just text me the time... And Rick, some parents, they don’t got to beat you to damage you.”
Daryl stood up and went to his room, leaving behind his best friend. Rick took out his wallet to retrieve a photograph from within. It was of him and Michonne with the boys at their christening. This is a special occasion for both of their families. He and Michonne weren't religious, but it was a custom shared by both of their families, which was unusual for the two. Both of their parents were in the back, bathing in the joyous atmosphere of the blessing and celebration of their children. He traced his fingers along the old photograph, a bittersweet caress that brought memories to life. His fingers lingered on its surface, as if, by touching it, he could somehow find solace within it.
…
“Bonjour Amélie. Comment vas-tu? I see Richard hasn’t returned… Do you want to talk about it?”
“Morning, mummy…” Her lips pulled together into a half-formed smile.
“Darest, I spoke to your father last night... Don’t take it to heart; he’s a stubborn old fool. He only wants what's best for you.”
“Best for me? Is insulting me and the father of my children, is what's best for me?”
“Amélie, Your father has his flaws, but he’s sincere. I like Richard, but let’s not act as if he had done right by you.”
“Why are you entertaining the girl’s foolishness? What life has she lived to be able to question me?” Reynard said, entering the kitchen.
He was wearing a maroon Ralph Lauren sweater with a grey shirt underneath and long khaki pants. He wore his glasses today, and he carried his laptop and iPad with him.
He seems to be occupied for the day. That means he’ll be out of my hair for a while. Should I bring the boys back?
“Good morning, my sweet. You look handsome; you were in rare form last night.”
“Is breakfast finished?”
“Oui, hungry?”
He didn’t come last night; he slept out. I get he’s angry, but to take that shit out on me! And he wonders why I acted the way I did. Shameless man!
“Amélie?”
I wonder what time he’s coming back. We still need to talk, but that temper! Still, I’m not completely in the right either, and he honestly held it together pretty well. Then again, he never really lost his shit with me, even last night.
“Amélie!”
“What is it?”
“Did you not hear your mother calling you, girl?”
“I’m not doing this shit today.” Michonne began to walk away
“What was that girl?”
“Look, I don’t have the time. Rick didn’t come back last night, and I can’t with you right now. I'm tired of this.”
“Let’s not do this, you two!”
“You seem to forget yourself, Amélie.” Reynard ignored Marie.
“The father of your grandchildren left late last night because of your antics; he isn’t back yet... Dad, it's not fair what you're doing to my family!”
“Your family? Am I not your family? It seems being away from us for so long has rotted your brain. Even talking back to me, have you lost your mind?”
“No, I haven’t!” Her words shattered into the room like shards of glass. “Do you know why the twins aren't here? I left them with Sasha because I didn't want them here with you! I have somethings to get off my chest, and you will listen.”
Michonne could see her father fuming, but he remained silent, his arms crossed hard across his chest. It was as though he was waiting to see how far she'd go with her 'performance'. Sweat rivulets formed across her body, and time seemed to slow as the weight of the situation pressed on her. Under his piercing gaze, she could sense her courage wavering. She was adamant, however, knowing that if she didn't express what she wanted now, she might not get another chance. After Rick left, she thought long and hard about everything, especially Rick’s words. She hardly slept last night, knowing that he was out and angry at that.
“I am an adult, capable of making my own decisions. And though they aren’t always the best, they are my decisions to make.” She took a deep breath. “I moved to Atlanta to be my own person. I didn’t want to be attached to your name anymore; in everything I did, I had to be careful not to tarnish you because, no matter what, I was only seen as Reynard Hawthorne's daughter. ‘If I can’t honour you, do not shame you.’ Those were the words that kept ringing in my head every single day! Every part of my life you controlled. What clothes I wore, what languages I spoke, what instruments I played, and my likes and dislikes—you even controlled who I was dating!”
“I already know you chose Michael just to go against me. You did it then, and you’re doing it now. But I do not hold it against you; all children challenge their parents, and all children rebel. You carried on that charade with that buffoon for almost two years just to spite me, but in the end, you left him at the altar. I raised you, I taught you, and I made you who you were. In this world, I know you better than you know yourself. I do not hold your little outburst to heart, so quit while you are ahead, lest it stop being cute.”
“I did stay with Mike to spite you, and I don’t regret it.”
“You don’t regret it?” Reynard asked rhetorically, “Dearest, I told Richard that you didn’t have a callous bone in your body; I lied. I knew that I lied because you are mine; you are my daughter, and so you are just like me... But if you must defy me, at least go all the way. In the end, you chickened out because you didn’t have the gall. You picked a battle you couldn't win, and I knew you couldn’t do it. You see, Amélie, you are your mother’s as much as you are mine. You have her unyielding heart.”
He walked up to her and took her hands in his. He had a smile on his face, which caught Michonne off guard. His ability to change emotions at the drop of a hat always left her speechless.
“Dearest, you are not experienced enough to navigate the world on your own. I have no doubt that you love Richard; however, just like with Mike, I know this will not work. You think you do as well, since there are feelings involved, but I know better. Have I ever been wrong in the past? You tried it before, but in the end, you walked away like I said you should. Dearest, you are stubborn; you got that from me. What I do is to ensure that your bullheaded nature does not lead you astray.”
He softly tapped her palms, as if to offer her comfort. When she looked at her father, she was met with that expression. He was smiling, but he had that expression on his face. That very look had haunted her throughout her life. That empty, piercing look probed her soul; what it was searching for, she didn't know. She was looking around his face, as if the shell in front of her was hiding a monster. A firm lump bound her neck, making breathing difficult.
She grew extremely cold and jerked her outstretched hands back, afraid to let him touch them.
“I’m glad you know I love him. This isn’t some short-term thing. He’s the one I want. I knew that the first day I laid my eyes on him. I didn’t care about the consequences then, and I don’t care now. I don’t care what anyone has to say! Am I a bad person? Yeah! Maybe! I met a married man with two children. I wanted him, I got him, and I don’t regret any of it! I love him! I love him! I love him! And I’m going to marry him! And we’re going to have another baby! And I don’t care what you or her have to say about it!”
Her heart was racing, and her breath was ragged in her throat. It was the first time she denounced her parents. She spoke so quickly that it almost became hard to tell what was said. The face that had held a smile now showed nothing. Not anger or disgust; it was now just expressionless. He walked even closer, barely giving her any room to breathe. Marie, who stood silently the entire time, felt a presence other than theirs. She looked towards the entrance of the kitchen.
“Michonne…”
“Rick, you’re back…”
He walked to her and took her hand to leave, not paying any mind to the people in the kitchen.
“Where are we going?”
“Away from here…We're gonna have to talk, right?”
“Yeah…”
…
The couple sat on the park bench, taking in the breeze. A radiant smile swept across their faces, and their eyes glowed with electrifying excitement.
It feels good to be away from everything. It feels freeing.
After last night and this morning, this was a welcomed change of pace for Michonne, and she suspected the same for Rick as well. She turned to look at him, only to find him staring at her with eyes much calmer than they were last night.
“Rick I—”
“I'm sorry, I—”
They laughed a bit, understanding what the other was going to say. Michonne blocked her giggle and said,
“You go first.”
“Okay… Chonne I’m sorry about how I left last night. I just didn’t want to say the wrong thing…I understand why you didn’t say anything; I do. I know I ain’t exactly in the best place mentally, and I know your father; he doesn’t exactly make it any easier.” He smiled sadly.
“What you said last night, about me not defending you... You were right. I just—things with my dad are so complicated; I don’t even know how to explain it!”
Rick clasped their hands together, pulling her to him.
“Sometimes parents don’t got to hit their kids to damage ‘em; Daryl told me that… He may have raised you and cared about you, but that man isn’t a good father; it’s time you stop acting like he is.” He pulled her hand to his lips. “I thought about our family all last night, and I want us all to work. I need us all to work, but if he can’t be better, I’m sorry, baby; I don’t need him around my kids or us... I overheard what you told him; in fact, I was eavesdropping a while before I entered the room. Does that make you mad?”
“Kind of, but I'll get over it.” He chuckled at her.
“Darling, you are enough. I need you to know that.”
Her lips trembled as she tried to stop the overwhelming emotion. She managed to form a slight smile that gave way to what she was trying to overcome, although one couldn’t tell by looking at her face that both her hands, even the one he held, were shaking.
“What I said—didn’t it change what you thought about me? How you see me?”
“No, sweetheart, it doesn't. If anything, I’m relieved; you were too perfect, and you still are to me. You have the right to be selfish; ain’t nothing wrong with that. Everyone makes mistakes. I’ve done made a whole lot; it’s a wonder you're still with me. I’ve said it before: what happened with Mike wasn’t great, but you saved him and yourself from what was gonna be a terrible marriage... You’re not a bad person for wanting to live for yourself—as yourself.”
“I think most people would disagree with everything I’ve done to this point.”
“You don’t need to care about everyone else. We just have to care about each other and be the best that we can be for our children…Chonnie, you're not some homewrecker either; we both made a choice, and my marriage had no saving to be had... I was happy with what you said to your old man. Not just because you stood up to him, but hear that you truly want to be with me despite how messed up I am or everything with Lori or that we got kids; that you want me.”
“You are messed up, but so am I. The truth is, you're getting better. You were a good man before me and Lori, and you’re a good man after, but I’m—what I’ve got, there’s no fixing that.”
He wiped her tears from her cheeks, tracing his fingertips along her bottom lashes. As she buried her face in the flesh of his neck, he wrapped her in his warm embrace and tenderly kissed the top of her head. She had managed to deceive him for so long while suffering so much.
Four years, and I didn't know. You deserve better.
“Next week, I want you to join me in my sessions with Dr. Job. Okay? I won’t take no for an answer.”
“Okay.”
“We’re gonna be just fine, darling. I know it, and if we’re not, we’ll make it work. Not just for us, but for our family. It ain’t gonna be easy; we'll do it though, and we’ll be strong for each other. From now on, we live how we choose.”
“I love you...”
“I love you more. ”
The pair was in a better emotional state after having a fully open discussion. They picked up the boys and decided to spend the remainder of the day having fun as a family. When they got back home, they fully expected an argument between the two sides; however, they kept their words limited. Rick suspected it had to do with the twins being present. The same happened the next day as well.
…
Friday evening came quickly. Michonne, Rick and Sasha had rented out a guest house for the weekend, where Maggie, Daryl and a few others were present. They were going to bring the kids, but Marie had offered to babysit them. It was a peace offering, no matter how temporary it was Rick and Michonne agreed. Maggie rode with them.
When they got there, Sasha, Daryl and Michonne's friend, Rosita, were already there, along with Rick’s friends Carol and Morgan, who would arrive the following day. Michonne and Maggie hopped out of the car, leaving Rick to bring the bags in. Daryl, who was smoking outside, went to help his friend. Sasha and Rosita, hearing the car, came out to see.
“Heyyyy bitchessss!” Sasha yelled at the top of her lungs.
Michonne and Maggie hugged everybody around them, their passionate actions a tribute to the overwhelming happiness that flowed from their spirit. Their laughter resonated like bells in the air, a melody of pure delight that raised everybody's mood.
“Where’s Abe?”
“He’s staying with Noah till his sister comes to take over tomorrow. Until then, I’m free whores!” She laughed, pushing out her tongue. She already had a shot in her hand.
“How much have you had to drink?”
“She had six shots!” Rosita made it known before Sasha could lie.
“We’re here for a break from life; what the hell did you expect? Come drink with me!”
“I can’t.” Maggie shut her down
“Chonne can’t either.”
“What?”
Everybody other than Michonne and Daryl watched Rick as he took the last bag to head inside, confused as to why he was speaking for her. Maggie looked at Michonne while the rest fluctuated between the duo, putting two and two together.”
“Noooo…” Rosita covered her mouth.
“You guys got knocked up again! Whatever bug you two have, you better keep it to yourselves! I’m not playing!”
“Would that be so bad?”
“Shhh, Mags; he may not be here, but he might hear you. He’s been begging for a girl!”
The air ignited with an electric charge, such that everyone in attendance swirled with eagerness for what was to come, infusing the occasion with an irresistible energy.
“Guys, come inside!” Rick called out to the girls.

(grips your shoulders) tell me about your alive elizabeth afton au
!!! Okay okay so. I have to make clear its not Just her, it's a whole "All the Afton kids live and are left to fend for themselves together with all their combined trauma" au but it's gotten very fleshed out for Liz specifically because my bestie @tibby and I love her ♡♡
But, to give you a very tldr background for this au (which I can/will elaborate more on later) in this version of things, Evan doesn't die from his birthday incident. He doesn't even get hurt aside from the emotional scars. Instead, Michael being the stupid older brother he is puts his arm in Fredbear's mouth after pulling Evan out to go "See, it's not even dangerous, you're crying over nothing" and promptly gets his arm bit, so badly that he ends up Losing the arm entirely. Due to a lot of factors that stem from this incident, William instead of being fueled by grief over his lost son to start killing kids, instead kills Charlie for different reasons, and after witnessing her possession, becomes Obsessed with the ideas of immortality and subsequently making a Perfect Version of his family via his robotics. So a lot of the main facets of canon still happen (Charlie + MCI + DCI murders, Henry leaving the company) but they happen for very different yet related reasons.
So all of that leads up to what happens with dear Elizabeth ~
Because you see, I do love the interpretation of her being a daddy's girl when it's done right (meaning making it as tragic and with lasting trauma as fucking possible.) So she's William's golden child. She's not rebellious like Mike, nor an anxious mess like Evan. No no, she's curious instead. She takes a genuine interest in William's robotics work, and in her he thinks he's actually found the perfect successor among his kids. She gets blatant favoritism from him and she loves it, she is her dad's kid thru and thru.
Unfortunately for her, being loved by William comes with it's drawbacks.
Because see in this version of things, he Was being serious about Circus Baby being built specifically for her. Elizabeth doesn't know that this means CB is meant to be the perfect vessel for her immortality, she's only 12 at the time, but CB is special reguardless.
So of course shes still mad when William doesn't want to let her see CB yet. (It's because she hasn't been perfected for Elizabeth yet, she's incomplete.) Due to other circumstances, one day while William is throwing two simultanious parties at the new pizzeria, he has to bring Elizabeth with him even tho he would prefer not to, and Michael as well. So he leaves Michael with one specific task: keep your sister away from the animatronics. (And of course because of his own accident, he already doesn't trust them, so he would have kept an eye anyways.)
At one point his attention gets diverted by some of the guests asking for help, and because he knows his dad would be pissed at him for refusing, he steps away for what he thinks will only take a moment. Elizabeth, finally free for a moment from supervision, knows she finally has a chance to see CB for herself and takes it. Except things go a little differently this time.
CB does still try to grab Elizabeth with her claws, but luckily for her, Michael arrives back just in time to grab her and pull her back from getting snatched, although not without injury.
CB's claw ends up catching Elizabeth in the face instead, leaving her with a fairly nasty scar that goes all the way from her eyebrown down past her cheek. And as a result, not only does she lose William's favor as his golden child because she's now "imperfect" and marked like her brother, but she's also lost Every bit of trust she ever had in her dad. His beloved machine made Specifically for her just tried to kill her and she can never look at him the same way again.
I'll skip over the finer details for now just to keep focus on Elizabeth, but at some point she, Michael and Evan are left alone together, and so Michael does the only thing he can think of and packs all their shit up to go ask Henry if he can take them in. He Really doesn't want to, not after what William did to Charlie, but he knows if he doesn't then the system is going to split the kids up, and so he does take them in, though hes not really a parent to them. They take care of each other for the most part.
But for Elizabeth, she gets to grow up and go thru highschool trying to reconcile how much of her father is in her, and how much of his kid she Still is even when she hates him, and how even after knowing what kind of monster he is...still missing him. Still wanting to be his favorite kid, the one he was the most proud of.
Elizabeth, as it turns out, is a bit of a robotics genius as she grows older. She outshines both her dad and Henry by miles, she learned a lot from watching her dad work for so many years and from pouring over his old journals she managed to get her hands on. She's utterly amazing, but a part of her hates herself for still following in her dads footsteps, and so she tends to limit herself on purpose in fear of turning out like him and somehow making her creations dangerous without intending to. She's continually haunted by the shadow of her father despite being a much better person than he ever was.
The one creation she does actually make and has a lot of pride in in this timeline is actually Helpy lol. (This started as a little joke but then it became serious.) Helpy isnt super advanced, he doesn't talk, but she makes him as a bit of a jokey gift for Michael (who still gets scooped in this timeline, that's its own thing) because she notices he's lonely between helping to look after her and Evan and because he's had to basically hide away from the world now that he's undead. And she doesn't think he's much at first, but Michael loves him. Helpy is his little bestie and he's the first real proof that Elizabeth is capable of doing good where her father didn't, even if she doubts herself a lot.
Theres so much more I could say but this is already so long so I will cap it off here for now. But rest assured you'll hear more about her later ~ I'm working on some art reference for everyone in this au too so I'll post that whenever it's done :)
#anyways. i love you my very specific interpretation of elizabeth afton ♡♡♡#elizabeth afton#fnaf#five nights at freddy’s#imperfect siblings au#<- thatll be my tag name for this stuff#kief.txt#ask#answered#michael afton#evan afton

Nancy’s Twin (Stranger things Fanfic)
Description: Mickey Wheeler. The youngest twin of Nancy for 20 minutes. Just because they're twins, doesn't mean anything to Mickey. Nancy is pretty and popular. Mickey is decent and the "Do not **** with me" gal plus a total geek like her baby brother Mike who cannot beat her in arcades. Of course she loves her little brother Mike, which is why she's involve in this situation.
Warning: cursing and violence. If anything else let me know.
ENJOY. Let me know if there's errors or punctuation errors.
Author: Here’s Chapter 1 :3
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chapter one: The Start of it All
November 6, 1983, Hawkins, Indiana.
Years past since the Jaws movie for Mickey, and not once has she past the opportunity to watch more horror movies. During those years, she would give her Dad a chance to watch horror movies as long as she takes her the times he goes during when he's done from work. Of course he said no that she's too young to watch them, but a little deal was made with a 8 year old girl and her 37 year old Dad.
"Daddy if you let me watch the horror movies you go to with addition of snacks, I won't tell mom you went to see Jaws." Mickey keeping the professional stance with her notebook hugged to her chest.
"How do I know she'll believe you honey?" Ted was just ready to leave the house.
"I can recite the entire movie to her step by step."
"Ok I can take you, but no snacks."
"Did I mention that I know you're the one that took Mom's 20$ that she was gonna use for our candy bags on Christmas to buy yourself a 10 pack of beer?"
That's how the deal started. Every certain days, Ted would use his breaks during his work to pick up Mickey from school and go see movies.
Movies like Deep Red, Race with the Devil, Rocky horror picture show, legend of the werewolf, terror of Frankenstein, Jaws 2, don't hang up, and assault! Jack the Ripper.
Her favorites started listing like crazy.
Carrie, King Kong, The clown Murders, Halloween (she's really into Micheal Myers), Alien, Tourist Trap (It did scare her a little), Dracula, Friday the 13th, The shining, Evil Dead, Poltergeist, and Creep-show.
Of course she still watched other movies like Rocky, Freak Friday, Star Wars, The rescuers, Pete's Dragon, Cinderella, Grease , Lord of the rings, Battle star Galactica, Star Trek, Muppet Movie, Lupin III, Indiana Jones, Annie, The dark crystal and Pop eye.
You can say she found ways to watch movies almost every day. She would save up her money from the amount of toy cars she sells to kids in her school including secretly selling money worth of candies from Halloween to buy herself movie tapes to rewatch.
Until the years gone by and she just stopped the deal with her Dad. Ted didn't know why, but she just acted quiet for almost a whole year. He didn't make it a big deal and decided to just let it be.
Mickey stopped having physical touches with her family after she was 10. No hugs, no shoulder pats, no surprises, no grabbing her face to kiss it. No touching.
On her 11th birthday, Ted gave her a cassette tape player that she can hear music in. Of course Nancy just wanted new dolls and dresses, but all Mickey wanted was the opposite. She would never want to wear a dress again.
Now 8 years of complete hell was coming and going for Mickey. In her room listening to The Poppy Family as she reads a spider man comic while laying on her bed wearing a graffiti t shirt.
"I can't help crying"
Honestly, Mickey can relate to that one sentence.
"You are my whole , babe"
"My heart and soul, babe"
Distracted from the song, she just tosses the comic to the floor and keeps listening to the song instead. Even at the age of 16, she's curious to how people find such a perfect partner. After watching The Goodbye Girl, Mickey never really sees herself falling in love with a man. Of course she got a huge crush on certain guys from movies, but in an actual relationship, hell no.
After everything that's happened in those 8 years, Mickey would never in her life settle with the boys in Hawkins.
A slight open of her door snaps her back to reality. She removes her headphones and lifts her self up to see it's Dustin, one of her brother's friends.
"You need something Dustin?"
"Actually I wanted to ask if you wanted this last slice of pizza? It's sausage and pepperoni." He says with his adorable childlike smile.
Mickey gets off her head and walks to him. Looking down at the pizza, it's pretty good to eat, so she takes it and thanks him.
"For this free pizza, I shall honor you one of the great trades of them all good sir."
Dustin is already excited.
"What would that trade shall be, oh Lady of the Village Halla?"
Mickey goes to a box under her bed, takes something out of it, and gives it to him.
"8 dollars in cash." She said with a smile.
"Holy shit!! You serious?!"
"It's also a thank you for buying me some big league gum and skittles. Spend wisely my freind."
He smiles and starts to leave, while she goes to eat the pizza, which is pretty good for a free slice.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"There's something wrong with your sister."
Mike looks at Dustin with confusion. When it comes to having two sisters, it's a little hard to know which one any person is talking about depending how you describe them. Mickey and Nancy always have something wrong with them, but simple things.
Like when Dustin asked what's wrong with Mickey of why she allows her brother and his friends hug her but not anyone else, or the time when he asked what's wrong with Nancy with why her and Mickey don't get along.
"What are you taking about?" Mike asked.
"Nancy has a stick up her butt."
Now he knows which sister he's talking about.
Lucas adds, " Yeah. It's because she's been dating that douchebag, Steve Harrington." While preparing to ride his bike back home.
"She's turning into a real jerk Mike." Dustin getting on his bike.
"She's always been a real jerk." Mike clarifies.
Dustin disagrees. "She used to be cool. Remember when she dressed up as an elf for our Elder Tree campaign."
"That was four years ago!!"
"Just sayin!!" Before he could leave, he turns to Mike.
"If there was a chance I can date your sister, can I date her?"
Mike raises his brow with a "wtf" look.
"Which one?"
"Obviously the badass one. Mickey."
"Oh my god no Dustin, I mean she is a badass but I'm not allowing you to date her."
"She likes me!!"
"As a brother, and you're too young for her plus it's a Hell no!!"
"4 years Mike!! 4 years!!"
"You can't blame him Mike." Lucas says with a side smile.
"Bye!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Nancy don't even lie about stealing my damn lip balm, either give it back or I'm taking one of your pants as my own."
Nancy holds Barbara on the phone again and looks at her with an impatient look on her face.
"Why do even have one? You hate makeup."
Mickey raises her brow.
"For your information, the lip balm keeps my hot blood lips from drying like a mummy while makeup is just an enhancement for certain girls to wear to impress their target."
"Their target?"
"Yeah. Boys, boys with bikes, boys with cool cars, boys with CuTe hair, boys that are nice, and boys who you just feel In LoVe."
Mickey mocking the words "cute" and "love".
"Is this about me dating Steve? He's nice and is really cute, and his hair is cute too. Sounds like someone is just jealous that I have a boyfriend."
Mickey just laughs.
"HAH!! First of all I was just telling you to give me back my lip balm, and second of all, I don't see any reason to be jealous over a guy that probably doesn't even use actual hairspray for his hair."
She looks around for the lip balm until she sees it on a table close to the door. As she grabs it, she looks back to Nancy.
"Does Mom and Dad even know you have a boyfriend?"
Nancy eyes widen a bit, which means to Mickey that it's a no. Why is she not surprised? Nancy tries to counter a comeback.
"Do they even know you have a monster truck without their knowledge?" She smiles.
"I'm making money out of that badass truck, thank you so much for reminding me." As she leaves, she hears Nancy mutter "druggie" before she continues on the phone with her freind. As Mickey closes the door, she mutters "Princess" before she opens her door and closes it to lay back down on her bed.
It is getting late so she'll have to sleep. That means she'll have to wish graduation comes quick. She changes into a simple oversize Christine movie shirt and heads to bed.
"Please just for once let tomorrow be okay." She whispers before closing her eyes. The entire room only lighten by a nightlight of a candle that makes the whole room smell like roses.
Let tomorrow be okay? If only Mickey Wheeler knew.
One Year Later
“Happy Birthday to you!” Everyone is gathered around Honey while she sits in her highchair with a tiny cake all to herself, made by Auntie Erika. She waits until everyone is done singing before she blows out her two candles. She claps along with everyone else when they cheer for her. Digging into the cake with her hands, Mike and Dimples have their cameras out taking photos of their daughter.
After everyone has their cake and Honey opens all her gifts, the party starts to die down a little. Cherie takes Honey inside to play with her toys and the grownups sit outside in the backyard. While Dimples and the ladies are busy getting all the trash together, Mike sits with his grandpa Gus, his father, and his uncle.
“So, when are you two gonna tell us about the baby?” Gus starts, nursing a beer like he hadn’t just put Mike on the spot.
“Tell you about what baby?” Mike asks, unconvincingly.
“Walter, look at that girl. Tell me that isn’t the tell-tale sign of a bump.” Gus nudges Mike’s elbow while Mike looks to his dad for help.
“Gus, leave the boy alone. If they’re not ready to announce it, they’re not ready. Simple as that.” Walter shrugs and pats Mike’s knee.
“It’s gonna be a boy.” Sy offers, and Mike’s eyes widen.
The other three men look at Sy in disbelief, wondering how he could possibly know the sex of a baby that wasn’t even confirmed yet.
“Well, her skin is still clear. And it looks like she’s carrying low. When she was pregnant with Honey, she carried high and had acne. Just like Nettie did with Cherie. I mean, it could be an old wives’ tale. But it still came true twice, so...” Sy trails off and laughs with the older men while Mike nods and laughs to himself.
When he looks up, Dimples is walking over and pulling him away from everyone.
“They know. Nettie and Hope know I’m pregnant and I didn’t have to tell them at all.” Dimples almost shrieks when she tells Mike that their happy announcement is kind of ruined.
“Yeah, Grandpa Gus and Dad and Uncle Sy pointed it out as well. Oh, and Sy says we’ll have a boy which is exciting.” Mike tries to lighten the mood and Dimples chuckles despite herself.
Honey comes running out of the house behind them holding her favorite pink triceratops. She runs into Mike’s legs and raises her arms up. “Daddy up pwease?” Cherie comes out of the house shortly after, going to sit between Sy and Nettie.
“Come here, Honey,” Mike picks her up and gives her a bunch of kisses on her face and Honey bursts into a fit of giggles. Mike holds Honey and grabs Dimples’ hand and walks over to where the other adults are sitting.
“Daddy? When baby coming?” Mike and Dimples look at each other and realize there is no point in hiding it anymore.
“Seems like everybody already knows, but just to make it official, Dimples just made it through her first trimester a couple of days ago with our second baby.” Mike kisses Dimples’ temple and pulls her close.
“I’m very emotional right now. So, please don’t take my crying for being upset. I’m actually really happy, I promise.” Dimples wipes at her eyes and the group of adults laugh and stand up giving hugs all around.
Grandpa Gus watches as his family grows larger by the minute.
Six Months Later
Henry “Bubba” Marshall is born at 9 lbs 10 oz and 21 inches long. Mike is so proud of himself that he didn’t faint at all during this pregnancy. He cut the umbilical cord and is surprised at how big this baby is. When the doctor laid him on Dimples’ chest, it is a miracle she could hold him.
Mike and Dimples name Evan and Hope as godparents for Bubba. Grandpa Gus makes his way past the rest of the family so he can see his great-grandson. When he finally sits down and is handed Bubba, he chokes up. A few silent tears fall, and he laughs a bit to himself.
“Grandpa Gus, you okay?” Mike asks from his perch on the side of Dimples’ hospital bed.
“I just can’t believe how handsome he is. Just like his father, his father before him, and me of course. I guess he had no choice but to be a looker,” Gus chuckles and looks down as Bubba yawns and shifts in his arms, “Also, this boy is big as hell. He is gonna eat you out of house and home. Good luck with that.”
“Gus, don’t scare them,” Walter walks over and pats Mike’s shoulder before leaning in to whisper, “But you know he’s not gonna fit any of that newborn clothing you got for him, right?”
Mike and Dimples look at each other and can’t help but laugh at their little predicament.
Another Six Months Later
At Honey’s 3rd birthday party, Bubba crawls around the party. And boy, is he fast! He keeps not only Mike and Dimples on their toes. But he also keeps his big sister busy trying to keep her toys out of his mouth.
“Bubba, no! Don’t eat Pinky!” Honey takes her pink triceratops out of her brother’s hands and replaces it with one of his Little Peoples toys.
When Mike and Dimples catch up to where the two kids have gotten to, they are out of breath. Honey can only laugh which makes Bubba laugh. And the chain reaction sends their parents into a giggling fit as well.
“Daddy? Can we open presents now?” Honey asks, trying to wrangle her brother into staying in one place.
“I think that is a perfect idea, Honey.” Mike picks up Honey while Dimples picks up Bubba and they make their way over to the oversized present pile.
Bubba tries his best to help open gifts but ends up playing with the wrapping paper and the boxes that Honey’s toys come in. Nothing makes Bubba happier than making his big sister laugh and Honey loves to play with her little brother. She treats him like her own personal baby doll, and he adores her for it.
After the party dies down and the backyard is cleaned up, Mike decides to take a nap on the couch. Honey and Bubba were playing in the living room but when they see Daddy laying down, they decide to crawl on top of him. At first, they try to wake him up but when that doesn’t work, they just get comfy and go to sleep as well.
Dimples comes into the living room when she notices it’s oddly quiet. The sight she happens upon makes her swoon. Mike is sprawled out on the couch; Honey is laying on her back across his chest while Bubba is wrapped around Mike’s thigh. Their soft snores are filling the room and it’s the cutest thing Dimples has ever seen.
She takes out her phone to capture the moment and another idea pops into her head for what to do for Mike’s birthday gift. Putting her phone away, she pries Bubba from around Mike’s thigh and gently wakes Mike so he can put Honey to bed as well. Mike and Dimples go to bed, and they are both so tired that they just cuddle up to one another and are asleep within moments.
A Few Months Later
Getting Mike out of the house for most of the day is the trickiest part of Dimples’ plan. She gets Walter and Sy to take him to lunch and a movie. When he comes back home, the house is too quiet and too dark, so he goes into the backyard to look for his family.
He is genuinely shocked when everyone jumps out and shouts “Happy Birthday!” Dimples runs up to him with the kids following her. He hugs and kisses all of them, so happy to see that they (mostly Dimples) planned a surprise party for him.
Mike makes his way around the guests at the party and thanks them for coming. Looking around the backyard, he notices that photos are lining the fence around the yard. Moving closer to one photo, he smiles to himself and wonders how Dimples got this one.
“I hope you don’t mind I took that one from your phone. It’s one of my favorites,” Dimples is at his side, looking at the photo that Mike took of the day Honey was born and they were still in the hospital room. It was the day they became a family, “If you like that one, you’re gonna love your gift.”
Mike just looks at her and smiles, feeling so lucky to have her as his spouse. Dimples grabs his hand and brings him over to the present pile. She hands him a large box and wishes him a happy birthday once again.
Taking the box, he sits down to open it. Inside the box is a beautiful leather-bound book. Mike opens it and is surprised to see photos of himself. The photos include moments of his childhood, of his and Dimples’ wedding, and over the years with the kids. With every page he turns, he is transported to different moments of his life. The last page that is decorated has a large photo from Honey’s 3rd birthday with Mike asleep on the couch with the kids asleep on him.
“I really hope you like this scrapbook baby. I figure we can keep adding memories to it with photos or paintings from Honey and Bubba. So, do you like it?” Dimples asks, her sweet face showing her hopeful expression.
“I love it, Dimples. I love you so much. This is such a great gift! I can’t believe you got all these memories together. Thank you, baby.” Mike hugs her and kisses her neck.
“You are very welcome, Mikey. I love you too. Now, I suggest we do cake soon, the kids will have their sugar crash then you can see the other gift I got you for your birthday.” Dimples wraps her arms around his neck and waggles her eyebrows.
“Would this gift happen to be on the sexy side of things?” Mike looks around before grabbing a handful of Dimples’ backside.
“Oh, my goodness, Mike! You'll find out later. Now, enjoy your party and be patient and you’ll be rewarded handsomely.” Dimples pecks his lips and walks away to wrangle up everyone for cake.
Mike watches her walk away to get the kids where they are hanging off Grandpa Gus. Looking around, he is surrounded by everyone he loves. He is so lucky to have a wonderful wife, adorable kids, and a loving extended family. He smiles to himself and realizes he won’t have much to wish for when he blows out his candles.
And that’s not a bad problem to have.
A/N: Now, does this make up for Make That Kitty Purr? Can I write other Mike stories now? The song for this chapter is Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift (feat. Ed Sheeran).
being hopper's oldest daughter (and el's older sister) would include...
pairings: dad!hopper x daughter!reader + little sister!el x big sister!reader
-saying your first cuss word at age 3
-being the original victim of the three inch rule
-coining the term "dad hugs" at age 5 because you loved when he literally engulfed you in his arms, but when he tried to call it a bear hug, you insisted "you're not a bear, you're daddy"
-reminding him whenever he was feeling down that you chose him over your mother for a reason, and stuck by that choice every day without a single regret
-scolding him for smoking too many cigarettes
-never forgetting the look on el's face the first time she heard you refer to her as "my little sister"
-complaining about your reputation in school as the chief's daughter
-hop suggesting you tell your classmates he'll arrest them for harassment if they ever singled you out for being his kid
-siding with el when he showed up late on halloween
-lots of hair ruffling. in your opinion, too much hair ruffling ("daaad! you couldn't have done that before i did my hair?")
-encouraging his relationship with joyce (“don’t be such a chicken, dad. just ask her out!”)
-you writing the grocery lists, him going out and doing the shopping (and usually forgetting at least one thing)
-"dad, haven't you learned to buy more than one box of eggos at a time by now?"
-having broken a nose or two in your life (it was a hopper family tendency, what could y’all say?)
-teaching el how to throw a punch, because "even though you have superpowers, you never know when you're going to need a good right hook"
-finding out about el and max's trip to the mall and being both horrified and impressed
-visiting hopper at the station just for him to see you and ask if you got arrested
-hop secretly running around investigating asking about everyone you talk to him about, especially boys
-doing el’s makeup for the snow ball and walking her in because she was nervous
-learning morse code so you could talk to el when she was at home and you weren’t
-adding bitchin' to your vocabulary as soon as you realized how much el loved saying it and hearing it
-hop calling out "where my girls at?" every night when he got home from work
-convincing hop to let el and mike go on their first formal date when she was still technically in hiding (which, in the end, resulted in you driving them 30 minutes away from home "just in case")
-watching miami vice as a lil family trio every week
-protecting el from bullies at school because no one was going to treat your little sister like that
-dumping out all his beer as a revenge plot when you were in a fight (which resulted in a lengthy grounding sentence)
-hearing all the town drama straight from the chief of police over family dinner almost every night, because if he couldn't rant to his girls, who could he rant to?
-having a full-blown sob-fest when you find out he had been alive and a prisoner in russia for 8 months •"you're so skinny. are you malnourished??" through the tears •him jokingly saying "who would've thought us two could survive without each other for so long?" and slightly panicking when it only made you cry harder •"dad, powell is the chief now. what about your job??"
Chapter 1
(Mike P.O.V)
I groan as my alarm clock rings. I rolled out of bed and into the bathroom. I stare at myself
“fuck I need a haircut” I mutters. My hair is dark brown like my shitty ass dad’s. But fluffy and curly like my mom. A pang of sadness washed over me. Damn I missed her so much she was the only person I could talk to but after she killed herself I was left alone. I walk out into the kitchen where I spot my younger brother, Chris already up. Chris always looked like he never slept even though he took medicine to help with his sleeping problems.
“Hey cry baby” I said as I flicked the back of Chris’s head.
“Mike stoppp” Chris whined as tears started to form in his eyes. I rolled my eyes. My brother was always about to cry. It was annoying.
“Hey hey no crying I’m sorry” I said patting Chris’s head “Where's Lizzy?”
Chris sniffed “She’s sleeping still”
“Can you go get her then? If you do, I'll make breakfast” I said, opening the fridge up.
“Really!?” Chris said looking up.
“Yeah we have eggs, cereal, or toast with butter,” I say.
“OK!” Chris said running off.
{a couple minutes later}
“Morning Mikey” Liz says as she hugs me.
“Morning” I say as I lift Liz. And settle her on my hip.
“Where's daddy?” Liz asks, staring up at me. I try not to roll my eyes. My father could care less about us but Liz is still convinced he’s the best parent anyone could ask for. Bull shit.
“Work” I answer “What do you want for breakfast?”
“A bagel!” Liz says
“We don’t have bagels” I say.
“But I want one!” Liz says. I’m tempted to throw her but I remember what my mom said ‘Mikey darling you just need to control your temper. How about this? If you promise to apologize to the boy I won’t tell your father you got into another fight, how about that darling’ she would say in perfect British accent. I would nod and smile. ‘Good. Now go fix yourself up, we’re having pasta’
“Liz.” I say evenly “You can have some toast, cereal, eggs, or starve.”
She glared up at me but I guess she wasn’t in an arguing mood so she sighed then mumbled “Toast is fine…”
“Good” I say as I put her down. “Go get ready you can eat on the bus”
{At school}
I walk by all the students. Before spotting my friends.
(Jeremy P.O.V)
As Mike walks up my heart skips a beat. Damn why am I like this. Felix immediately jumps down from his ledge he was sitting on. And wraps his arms around Mike's waist, I envied Felix how easily he can touch Michael without getting flustered.
“Ok queer boy” Mark says as he blows out some smoke from his cigarette.
“Oh shut your Mexican ass up lest I can hold a relationship,” Felix shots back.
“This isn’t a relationship. It’s more your gay as fuck and Mike puts up with your bullshit,” Mark says, blowing more smoke out.
“I aint gay. But this is a longer relationship than you have ever had,” Felix says, narrowing his eyes.
“OK virgin,” Mark says, which starts a whole lot more bickering from them. I listen for a little bit then tone out and end up staring at Michael. I have been in love with Mike since freshman year. When I was getting bullied and Mike told them to go fuck themselves. It was my first year in this town and Mike should have cared less about me but he still stood up to them. Unfortunately I can’t be…. you know… queer? It was the 1980s being queer was gross. Queer people were being thrown in jail for nothing. Queer bars were being burned to the ground. It doesn’t help that this town is super small and homophobic. But my mother is too. Like every time she has any free she just talks about how awful queer people are.
“Jer?” Mike says, waving in my face
“Huh?” I say, being aware all them are watching me.
“You were scaring us dude,” Felix says. “You completely zoned out,”
“Really hadn’t noticed” I say sarcastically.
“Ass” Felix says. And Mark lets out a laugh which results in a punch from Felix.
“Ladies can we get through fucking school before we start fighting” Michael says rolling his eyes. And we all start walking to our first class. As we walk people call out to Mike. He gives them a nod. Mike was the scariest kid at our school. If you messed with anyone under his protection, you were in for a treat. But really he was the nicest guy ever. God damn it stop being g….queer Jeremy!
{Felix P.O.V lunch}
Me and Jeremy walk out onto the field where Mike and Mark are already sitting eating lunch. I watch as Jeremy’s face turns red when Mike smiles at us. I run over and settle myself on Mike's lap. He lays back on the grass. Mark starts to tease us. But is quickly shut up by Mike's middle finger.
“Not. A. Word.” Mike warns.
“You're not scary Mike,” I say, taking a bite of the awful cafeteria food.
“Most of the school would disagree” Jeremy says.
“Yet the scariest boy in school can’t stand up to a 5’3 gay fucker” Mark says as he throws a piece of food at me. I flip him off. But I do wonder how Mike puts up with me. The late calls because I’m too drunk or high to think straight. The crying in empty classrooms. All the times I reach for his hand. Why? My thoughts are interpreted by the bell.
“Ugh yep I’m definitely skipping I have Mr. Coles next and I didn't do my homework, my ass is gone,” Mark says standing up. “I’m going to the roof to smoke, does anyone care to join me?”
“Sure” I say, brushing myself off.
“Eh why not” Mike says sitting up.
“Uh I guess I can come too?” Jeremy says, he’s the only one who doesn’t smoke but we have corrupted him enough that he drinks. Not that we were trying to force him, it just happened that he started drinking. But I’m all for him staying away from that stuff. He has the highest chance out of all of us to do something great.
{Mark P.O.V rooftop}
We all smoke in silence before Mike says:
“I’m going to runaway”
I almost choke on my smoke “Well not now but after highschool I’m going pay for a train ticket and get away from this fucking shitty ass town. And you're all coming with me.” Mike continues. “Were all going live our fucking lives not survive but actually live our lives. We can do what we want to do. And when I can I’ll fight for my siblings and bring out every shitty thing he has ever done. Maybe, I can become their legal guardian
“Keep dreaming but that's not happening, we're going die here,” Jermey says.
“And here's pessimist Jeremy to save the day,” Felix says sarcastically.
“I’m not pessimistic! It’s the truth,” Jeremy shots back.
“You could at least tell him lightly,” Felix says.
“Right… crap sorry Mike that was mean,” Jeremy says quietly, as his face turns red.
“Damn even you Felix way to crush a man's dreams,” Mike says, holding his heart.
Felix touches Michaels forearm lightly in comfort. “I believe in you really Mike but we’re the unluckiest teenage boys in all of Utah. Hate to say it but we are never leaving”
“I think you can do it,” I say, they all turn to stare at me. “What? Mike has the best grades and a real chance of getting out of here. Plus he said he was bringing us with. And I don’t know about you but I’m all for getting as far as fucking possible from my parents,”
“Thank you Mark,” Mike says smiling “Not everyone has given up on me,”
“If Mark believes in you then you can definitely do it,” Jeremy says, giving a small smile.
“You fuckers aren’t leaving right? When Mike leaves I better have a ticket cause this ass is getting so far away from my mother you won't even be able to see it, which is crazy seeing how big my ass is,”
“So now you believe in me,” Mike says, side-eyeing him.
“I always believed in you Mikey,” Felix says, with innocent eyes. “I just didn’t want to leave Jeremy alone in his puddle of sorrow,”
“Thanks for throwing me under the bus,” Jeremy mumbles.
“First of all don't call me Mikey it's weird only my sister calls me that and she’s 8,” Mike says “And second of all I don’t believe you believed in me. How does that feel,”
“Aw but Mikey’s cute,” Felix answered, taking a step forward towards Mike.
“I hate you,” Mike says, even though the corners of his mouth were suppressing a smile, Mike pushes Felix lightly away.
“You know you love me,” Felix laughs.
“Damn Mike’s all done with your gay shit,” I laugh. Then we all start laughing as the bell rings twice telling us it was the end of the day.
Hope you like it even though I don’t know who would read this if have any suggestions for what these stupid boys should do in the next couple chapters feel free to leave a comment love you all stay safe <3
Oh I'm having fun writing this..
Cassidy snarled Bearing her way to sharp teeth.. Michael moved over to Evan.. "You idiot I'm doing this for you!! He hurt you! he killed you!! He deserves to know what's happening to him know that no one will ever love him again...." Evan ignoring Cassidy slowly and carefully Put the strange black goo still shining thing in Michael's chest. Michael tried to ignore her too focus more on Evan. "No you aren't Cassidy we both know this is just a practice around for my dad.. Leave Michael alone he has enough demons to face as it is.." Evans spoke calm and Evan Michael barely recognized his voice he sounded so mature.. The small crying boy was gone. Michael tried to speak but no words came out. "I keep on forgetting that you're still a little daddy's boy.." Cassidy said in disgust turning away from Evan and facing Michael.. "I've seen what you've been through Michael and it isn't enough.... Yes is what you deserve Michael I hope you enjoy watching your body decay around you trust me it's not a pleasant experience.." Michael felt Evan hugged him. He still felt like Evan after everything. "Cassidy is right.. This won't be pleasant... When you wake up it'll hurt.. But I've seen you and I know you can make it through worse.." Michael nodded he didn't completely understand everything why Charlie had lied to him about Evan, If this was even really real And what He was going to wake up too.. "By the way when you wake up tell Charlie she's a dirty trader and deserves to burn with the rest of the selouts... And kick that @#%@$@ Bonabelle.."
Those were the last words Michael heard. Before slipping out of the darkness...
This was a shorter one! Interested to see where you take it next... Signed truly random Tumblr
When Mike opened his eyes, he found himself laying on a bed in a room he didn’t recognize with Elizabeth slumped on the edge of the bed asleep.
1x08.
Madeline tried, didn't she? :') I wouldn't expect less tbh. Though why she though that if RODERICK dies and not her and that all ends is beyond my understanding. Somebody wanted to trick the death itself, huh? And stay alive and rule the kingdom on her own. I don't think it's happening that way.
Why the clown though???
Oh. Oh, yeah. Then a clown would constantly haunt me, too. I did guess that they should've killed him bc how else would they get there, but yeah. Yeeeah.
Oh, Madeline is AMAZING.
Oooh, I get it now. The bells. The wall. A M A Z I N G.
They always try to bargain where there's nothing left for them.
Now it all makes sense. Since Varna is death itself (as far as I can guess), she obviously has seen them leaving the dude to die. She would have to collect his soul anyway (if he even had one, lol).
"Daddy's flown across the ocean, leaving just a memory" THAT WAS SUCH A SMART FUCKING CHOICE. OHHHH. MY GOD. Gosh, I wish I could tell my dad about that. I don't think he'd understand, but he'd appreciate the usage of the song.
LET'S GO, BISEXUALS. LET'S GO. Mad's smile. <3
Oh, that is SMART smart. What if there's no next generation? Or was he fucking everything left and right so his kids pay the price and he can live longer?
I miss Camille. She was a delight. Mike, give your wife bigger roles please.
Now THIS a would love to gif. Such a huge moment to gif, but I love what he says.
Of COURSE Mike made me cry one way or another. Of fucking course he managed that again. Oh, Lenore was the good one.
Now THAT is rude, Mike Flanagan. Omg. But so fitting, omg. AND WITH A RAVEN, TOO. So good.
Look at this CGI beauty. They're such beautiful birds.
...shall be lifted nevermore. So good. I think I might need to rewatch 1x01 of The Following. :)
I miss you, babygirl. You died way too early in the show. I think my favs are Camille, Madeline, and, without a doubt, Verna. Napoleon was *kinda* fun, but he hated Varna and cats (and he was a cheating piece of shit), so I'd rather stick with my women and an ancient entity. <3
That's a true goddess right here.
I mean, they lived the way they wanted to, did they not? And they agreed, so yeah, why the hell not? They decided to go that way of lying, cheating, robbing, etc. Could've went another route, but I guess they got what they wanted?
i want to be everything (and then more)
by ctrlalex
His freckles, his mom says, came from Ted’s younger years when he would go out with her in the summer and the sun would kiss his skin just enough to form those little dark spots. Every night when he was younger, his mother would look at him in a sad way while he was tucked into bed, and she'd kiss his cheeks where his freckles reside and then the tip of his nose where they blossom the most, and she'd utter goodnight before getting up and leaving his room.
Mike swore that she sobbed in the bathroom every night after kissing his freckles. Maybe with the sour feeling of not being loved anymore on her tongue.
Mike is so fucking afraid that he's doing that to El, and she's crying herself to sleep after kissing him goodnight. It seems like all he can do is hurt the ones he loves.
or, mike wheeler and the mess his life becomes.
I gotta know about Addams family ronance the hyperfixations are colliding
LOL So - I did watch Wednesday and I did find it fun but I also don't think of it as being very Addams-Universe canon. For instance, I don't think something as silly as a knife to the heart would kill Wednesday, even Pugsley's done worse things than that when they were playing 'assassin'. I don't have a ton written for this, mostly ideas.
Here's the entirety of what's been written down coherently. Lots of orphaned lines and paragraphs but this I can share:
Nancy was born at home on the fifteenth of March, and as soon as her father cut the umbilical cord, he handed her to his aunt. Her aunt brought her to the spare bedroom and set her in the center of a ritualistic circle before slicing long, deep lines from her fathers wrist to his elbow. They chanted together as his blood poured from his wounds and coated his newborn daughter. Once the chant was completed, Nancy filled her lungs with her first breath of air and let out a bone chilling howl.
Mike received the same ritual three and a half years later, except this time Nancy’s aunt cut little lines into the toddlers wrists so that she could hold them over her new baby brother like Daddy. Nothing came out of her wrists, but she still felt big and important, giggling at the squeaky howl Mike released.
-
Her fascination with her baby brother came swiftly to an end. He was loud and annoying and the lack of sleep was making her mommy upset and snappy. One night when Mike was about 6 months old and Nancy was positive her parents were asleep, she grabbed him from his crib and quietly exited their old Victorian house. There was a small pond on the property and that was where she took him, smiling contentedly as his screams became gurgles and finally, finally, no more bubbles came up from the bottom.
In the morning her mom was hysterical, crying and blabbering to their father, who didn’t seem nearly as worried as she was. He eventually agreed to go down to the police station himself and then gently pressed two orange pills into her palm. He waited for her to lose consciousness before he turned, hands on hips, to look at Nancy.
“Nancy, were you playing with Mike last night?” he asked patiently. She frowned and worked harder at coloring her cartoons. “I won’t be mad, Nancy, you just have to tell me where you left him.” he tried the gentle approach and, irritatingly enough, it worked. She looked at him with big blue eyes, her lip wobbling.
“I HATE Mike.” she said angrily, stomping her little feet in frustration, “He’s TOO LOUD.” Nancy shrieked indignantly. Her father sighed and shrugged, nodding his head.
“All babies are loud, Nancy. You were loud too when you were his size.”
“Nuh UH” she argued firmly.
“Yes-huh.” he shot back, making her smile.
“It’s okay to be mad about how loud Mike is, but you can’t leave him outside of the house like that. Mommy will get worried if he’s not in his crib in the morning.” he said seriously. Nancy bowed her head in shame and sighed, leading her father to the pond. He dove in and resurfaced with Mike, gurgling and blue, covered in mud. Her Father squeezed him until he stopped spitting up water, and then the screaming began in earnest.
For her punishment, Nancy had to help clean Mike in the sink and then boil a big pot of water so they could bring his body temperature back up quickly.
“If Mommy wakes up and he’s still cold, it’s not going to be fun for any of us.” he warned, plopping Mike into the stockpot before covering it with the lid. Her brother seemed to like the hot water, his cries turning to little happy gurgles.
“What did we learn, Nancy?”
“Always put Brother back in his crib.” she said monotonously. Her father smiled, his green eyes flashing as he ruffled her hair.
“That’s right, kiddo.”
This Is Love- Bad Dad Chapter 1
Warnings: Daddy issues, child neglection, yelling, alcoholism
Word count: 3k
As usual, Jessica had prepared dinner, laid out the plates, and invited her siblings to join her. She helped her little brother, Evan cut up his food and made sure that her older brother, Mike, was in a good mood.
Mike was just sitting at the table eating his food and watching his sisters play with the young Evan. He didn't say much, but he just sighed in relief that they could all simply be together as a family.
"Mike?" Jessica tilted her head, wondering what her older brother could want. Suddenly, their dad came home, which surprised all of them. He typically doesn't arrive at home until after 11:00 pm. "Dad?" She cried out, completely perplexed.
"Daddy!" Evan rushed to his father and hugged his leg. "Hello daddy…" Evan said happily. William looked down at his youngest son, feeling a pang of guilt for neglecting him.
"How was today sweetie..any more crying episodes today?" he questioned, not realizing Evan had overheard him.
"Um.. not for the most part. Evan's actually been pretty happy today," Jessica reported, her jovial disposition giving way to fatigue. "Sorry, I didn't prepare you a plate just yet… I didn't know you'd be home."
"It's fine…" He said as he moved to retrieve a beer from the refrigerator. He took a sip after cracking open the can. "And don't worry about not having my plate ready. I always keep some food prepared just in case." He uttered, yawning slightly, as he sat down at the table.
"Oh. Okay. As long as you don't go hungry." She scowled a little since she was concerned that he was already drinking.
"What's the matter, daddy?" Elizabeth asked. "Did you have a bad day?" Elizabeth was confused. Even though she was still little, she was able to tell when her father was in a bad mood. She was worried. Elizabeth walked to his side of the table and held his hand. "Do you… want any help with your sadness, daddy?" Elizabeth asked.
Jessica gave her sister a nice grin. "Why don't you go sit down, Liz. He probably needs space." While William continued to sip his beer and cast a downward glance at the table. He was feeling increasingly guilty for having neglected his younger kid. He looked so innocent, just like Elizabeth.
"I've been a bad dad, Liz… a real bad dad." He said, His voice was beginning to quiver. "I've been so absent, I've been so distracted, I've been so… I've neglected you all. I'm sorry, this is all my fault…"
"Dad…" Jessica muttered, not knowing what to say. Elizabeth hugged William, and Evan just blinked, confused. Mike, however, scoffed angrily.
"Dad! No! You're NOT a bad dad!" Evan said. "You work hard. There's nothing wrong with that. Daddy, please don't cry!" Evan said as he hugged his father. The other three children were at a loss for what to do. They were sad and perplexed. "I love you daddy! You're a good father!" He said through tears.
Jessica took a glance at her unfinished, cold dinner. Elizabeth began to cry as well, still a little child and confused. She turned to console her little brother. "Shhh.. It's alright, sweetie." Jessica whispered in Evan's ear. He began to sob again and Mike turned to face his younger siblings with his cold, serious look as Elizabeth was crying loudly and Evan was hugging his dad.
"Stop it Liz!" Mike said , his voice cold and serious. Elizabeth looked back at Mike terrified, but he just stared back "Stop it Evan! We don't cry in this family. The Aftons don't cry.." his tone had turned to a more serious and commanding one "Stop it before I make you!"
"Mike, shut up," Jess glared at her older brother. "Just because you don't cry doesn't mean everyone else doesn't." She went back to comforting her little siblings, still very wary of her drunk dad. She paid William and Mike no attention. Neither did she eat. She was too busy.
"I'm sorry… Mike." Elizabeth said through her tears. "It's just that… I miss mommy." Elizabeth looked down at the table and tried to stop crying. She wiped her tears away and looked at her brother and her older sister. She walked over to Jessica and held her hand, trying to comfort her. "I'm sorry… I didn't mean to cry, I swear…" She looked at her older sister. Elizabeth was so young, being only seven years old. She didn't understand what was going on, just that everyone was upset now, and it seemed like her fault.
"Oh, it's okay, sweetie." Jessica kissed her forehead. "Just let it out, both of you. I miss mom as well." Jess glared at her older brother once more before she picked up Evan out of his chair and held him tight, holding Elizabeth's hand in hers. She glanced over at her father once more, wondering what was going on in his head.
Mike turned to face his younger siblings and Jessica, he seemed to be in a pissed and tired mood "Whatever," Mike stormed off. Jessica swore he could hear him muttering curse words through his tears as he looked down at the floor in front of him.
"Please excuse the mood…" William said, he seemed to be a lot calmer now. "I promise, I will make more time for you all from now on."
Jessica just grimaced for a brief second, trying her best to keep her attention on her little siblings. "It's alright," she whispered to Evan and Elizabeth.
William went to grab another beer and chugged it. He put a cigar in his mouth and smoked. William had to deal with a lot of things at once, and he was stressed. Elizabeth looks a little uncomfortable and decides to leave the table.
Jessica is more worried about her dad's health right now. Evan had fallen asleep in her arms. She stood up, rocking him slightly as she walked into the kitchen. "That's not healthy, dad," Jess pointed out, grimacing at the smell of the smoke.
"I know, sweetie… but my job really stresses me out. If I didn't smoke or drink or have some way to feel a positive emotion… I would've lost my mind." William was drinking another beer and smoking another cigarette. "You wouldn't want your papa to lose his mind, would you?" William was trying to use his sweet side to get the kids to like him again after his little outburst. Jessica could tell he was trying to manipulate her into letting him drink and smoke.
Elizabeth was playing with her dolls in the living room, Mike was probably up in his room, and Evan was fast asleep in Jessica's arms. Despite not really liking her dad, she still wanted him to be alive. "Dad… There are other healthier coping mechanisms to deal with stress." She just wanted her dad to feel better.
Elizabeth was crying in the living room playing with her dolls. Her mind kept replaying the events that had just happened in her head over and over. She couldn't stop thinking about it, and it made her even more sad. "You don't understand!" She called from the living room. "I miss mommy too! If you really cared about us you would treat us better!" She was now crying a lot louder than before. Elizabeth stood up and slammed her doll on the floor. She was getting very irritated. "I hate you!" She yelled, as she ran upstairs and into her bedroom.
Jessica wanted to chase after her but knew it was better to leave her alone. She decided to shush poor Evan, who was stirring slightly. "It's alright, baby," She whispered to her baby brother. Then she turns to her father, "Liz doesn't mean that. You know that. She gets worked up sometimes…"
"I know she didn't mean it…" He said, staring at the can of the remains of beer. "But what if…" His eyes drifted to the floor, and he looked at the floor* "What if I am the problem? What if I'm just not a good dad? What if I'm the reason they're so upset today? What if this is all my fault?" William put his hands on his head as he sat in his recliner chair. "What if I'm just not enough as a father?"
"Dad…" she sighed. "You feed us, you keep us clothed, you keep us sheltered. That's a lot, y'know. A dad who didn't care about us wouldn't do that." She assured him, wondering if she truly believed he was a good dad. She still had a sleeping Evan on her hip.
William got up, still drunk, and walked towards his room. He was going to sleep. "Whatever." He said before closing his bedroom door and getting in bed, putting the cigar in his mouth, still drunk.
"…Good night." She went to put Evan to bed, kissing him on the forehead before going to bed herself, tears in her eyes.
William just simply slept. His eyes drifted close as he was tired from all the stress, the thoughts of self-doubt, and the alcohol made him feel tired. He drifted off to sleep with his arms crossed.
The next morning was Saturday, the day all of the Aftons got to go with their father to the pizzeria. Elizabeth and Evan were both waiting excitedly and jumping up and down, wanting to visit Freddy Fazbear's Pizza
"C'mon guys! Let's go!" Jessica said, walking into the large pizzeria with a smile, but still a little depressed from yesterday's events. She scooped her little brother up, making sure he didn't run off. The little boy was only five years old. "Don't spend too long in the arcade, Michael!" Jess told Mike as he ran off. Elizabeth went to go play with some of her friends.
William was in the employee only area, looking for some wires for a new animatronic they were planning to make, he was making the wireframe of the animatronic. William heard Jess call Michael's name and turned towards them as he listened to Jess, wondering how she became so mature. He was still very grumpy.
Jessica brought her baby brother to the ball pit. "Here, bud. Have fun." She smiled down at him. Jessica watched her little siblings carefully. Henry, her father's best friend and co-owner of this establishment sat next to her.
"Hey, sweetie," Henry said.
"Uncle Henry!" Jess smiled, hugging the man.
William walked out of the storage closet and looked around "Oh come here little ones!" je said, picking up Evan and Elizabeth. He gave them both a big hug. He was trying to be a fun loving father, but it was so obvious he didn't do this often. "I love you both!" William kissed his two youngest kids' foreheads.
Jessica watched him while chatting with Henry about things happening in her life. She could see how her father was being overly affectionate with Evan and Liz. She didn't want to interrupt despite it obviously seeming fake.
William seemed pretty content hugging his two youngest children, and he seemed a lot happier to see them both. "I love you both so much! You two mean so much to me, and I'll do anything to keep you safe and protect you. You two are the light that keeps me going every day. I love you both so much!" William had a soft tone when talking to his two youngest children, and his eyes were filled with love for his children and his voice was filled with warmth.
Jessica turned to Henry. "So, uh. How's Charlie and Sammy?" she asked, wanting to know about those little rascals.
Henry's face falls, "Charlie… Charlie went missing."
"O-oh… Henry, I'm so sorry…" Jessica grew worried, knowing that Charlie was about Evan's age. She wouldn't want that to happen to her little brother. "I hope the police find her," Jessica whispered.
"D-daddy? Where's Charlie?" Evan inquired after hearing Henry's conversation.
Elizabeth also inquired. "I hope we can find her…it must be awful for her… what if she was taken by a killer?" Elizabeth didn't seem sad, just curious, yet didn't understand that the idea of a killer was horrifying.
Jessica turned to her siblings, not wanting them to really overhear anything. "Oh, uh. Don't worry about it. Let's stop talking about it, you two. Go find Michael." She told them, hoping to spare them from the horrors of a missing child.
William walked up to Jessica and Henry. William picked Jessica up and hugged her. "There there my sweet girl… everything will be alright… but let's just focus on the fun we are having here… you are my big sweet girl right now… that's my job so I will do it!" William gave Jess his best sweet, loving. smile despite the fact he obviously didn't do this enough with his big sweet, smiling face, the cigar in his mouth also gave him a kind of look to him that made him more scary despite his sweet voice.
"Dad… put me down," She insisted, quite embarrassed at this amount of affection. She was thirteen for heaven's sake!
William seemed unfazed by Jess' demands "I'm sorry, I just love you too much… you're so sweet… just like a girl your age should be." William gave Jess a kiss on the forehead, and he put her back on the ground once again, he then turned and said to Evan and Elizabeth, in his now usual grumpy voice. "Come on, little ones, let's go grab something to eat!" He said, grabbing his two youngest children's hands and taking them with him to go get some pizza.
Very surprised by his change of tone, Jessica just stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. This is all quite strange. This day is weird. She decided to walk up to one of the animatronics and talk to it. "Hi, Bonnie. You're my favorite," she disclosed. Then she spilled all of her secrets to the robot, glad it can't really talk back.
William was with Evan and Elizabeth, and soon, they found themselves at the pizza counter. "What do you guys want?" William asked, while Evan didn't know what to choose.
He said "I like sausage pizza, and pepperoni pizza… and I like pizza with bacon, sausage, ham, and other meats! But I also like plain cheese, and I like cheese and pineapple pizza!"
Elizabeth on the other hand knew what she wanted. "I want a pizza with pepperoni, green peppers, and black olives," Elizabeth said, clearly more decisive than Evan when they tried to choose a pizza.
While Jessica was distracted talking to Bonnie, Michael snuck up behind her, his stupid Foxy mask on his face. When he popped up next to her, she didn't scream like he thought she would. Instead, she rolled her eyes. "Haha, very funny Mikey." She sighed, annoyed at her older brother's attempts to scare her.
Elizabeth turned to Michael, "Michael! Stop that, do you have nothing better to do with your time?" Elizabeth said, irritated by Michael's stupid antics. She sighed in annoyance and turned back to face the pizza counter.
Evan was still thinking really hard about what pizza to choose from, he was always really indecisive, though. "Pizza cheese, pizza with sausage and bacon, pizza with pepperoni and sausage… I don't know!" Evan said, clearly overwhelmed by the options to choose from.
Jessica walked up to her little brother. "Hmm… how about a pepperoni pizza. Just to keep it simple. We can share," she offered, picking him up and cradling him in her arms, ignoring her father standing next to them.
Will smiled, "I'm glad I get to spend such a pleasant day with my kids. This truly is a wonderful day."
Jessica glared at her dad for a brief second, setting Evan down in his seat. "Don't you have work today? Shouldn't you be fixing up animatronics with Henry or managing this place?" she seethed, hiding her anger behind a calm and collected demeanor. She's tired of his fake attitude. She mumbled a few curse words under her breath.
"Hey! Watch your words young lady! I can do whatever I want with my business, and my money! I'll do whatever the hell I want!" William was clearly upset, he had a very angry look on his face as he said the last part. "So you better shut your mouth and let me enjoy the day with my kids!" William said, still holding a very serious tone, clearly showing his frustration with Jessica.
Angrily, she stormed off, hiding in the storage closet by herself. The dark was calming.
"Hey!" William then followed Jessica into the storage closet. "You can't talk to me like that Jessica! Don't you ever talk to your father like that again! I am trying to be the best father I can be and if you can't respect that, then don't come back home tonight! Do you understand?" William was getting upset, angry. "And you should be grateful that I spend time with my kids! We need to spend time together as a family! All of us, together! I don't understand your problem!"
"Maybe I won't come home tonight, dad," venom dripped in her voice. She motioned for him to leave but when he didn't, she groaned, kicking the wall. "My problem is that this is all an act! You feel bad that we all hate you and you're doing this for your self esteem! I'm not stupid…" She breaks down in tears. "You don't care about us."
William was enraged that Jessica would treat him like this. His face twisted in anger. "How dare you! I give you and your siblings a roof over your head, food, clothes, and you repay me with such disrespect! You should be a better daughter! If you think I'm such an awful person, then I guess you just won't have a father anymore!" William was fuming, he then stormed out of the room still furious with his daughter.
"Good!" She yelled at him.
William was so hurt by Jessica's words, it's like they punched straight through his heart. He knew Jessica saw right through him. He knew it, but William couldn't admit it. All he could do was storm off in the opposite direction of Jessica, and he was so angry at her, he wanted to yell at her for not understanding him. She will never understand… that all he wants is to bring his kids happiness…
Customers stared at the scene that had just unfolded, a bit baffled but still resuming whatever they were just doing. Henry, William's friend, knocked on the door of the storage closet to check on Jessica.
"Go away…" he heard her say.
"Honey… it's me," he sighed.
"Come in…" she muttered.
Evan looked at what just happened.. and he was terrified of his father and terrified for Jessica. Elizabeth then proceeded to take Evan's hand and lead him to one of the tables, "Hey there.. it's ok.. I'm here.." Evan was silent. Elizabeth's words were unable to calm him down. He felt bad for his sister. While Evan was sad, Elizabeth started to eat her pizza but she was now keeping her eyes open and prepared just in case William came back.
Meanwhile, Henry was comforting Jessica, more fatherly to her than William ever was.
After leaving his children alone, William went right out to the front of the restaurant and just stood out there with his hands in his pockets. He was still quite mad. "Jessica… what am I gonna do with you…" William took a deep breath and then took his hands out his pockets. He then sat down on the bench that stood out there. William was at a loss on what to do with Jessica… he was conflicted… and he was feeling many emotions at once, which made him a little dizzy. He covered his face… trying to think…
"Henry… Why does my dad act this way?" Jessica asks him.
"Jessica… William is a very complicated man, he is a busy man, and can't always show his kids his true emotions." Henry sighed, feeling sorry for William, but also sorry for Jessica. "Your father wants nothing but the best for you and all his kids… I don't know if you will understand that or not, but you must know that he has a good heart, and all his actions are done with your and your siblings' happiness in mind. You have to remember that he loves you all very much." Henry said the last part with a serious tone.
"Are you sure?" she asked him, knowing he's just saying stuff.
"He does, Jessica… he loves you, he just doesn't always know how to show that love in the way you expect, he does everything he can and gives you everything you need, he shows that he loves you in his own way… you can't always expect people to love you the way you want. You have to get to know them and love them for who they are. He isn't a bad man, Jessica… and I think you need to realize that…"
Jessica just sighs, putting her head into her hands. She hopes he's right.
sorry i haven’t been posting i lowkey forgot i was real. but anyways back on my bullshit let’s go
fearless. y’all know the drill
Fearless: Steddie. Eddie to Steve. 1) i’m a sucker for fics where Steve just decides “who cares about homophobia, i’ll intimidate them until they leave us alone” (i know it’s unrealistic just let me have this) and Eddie is just starstruck anytime Steve stands up for him. also the line “run your hands through your hair” screams Steve. “you pull me in and i’m a little more brave” Eddie just wants to be brave, to stop running.
Fifteen: El. “somebody tells you they love you, you’re gonna believe them” “next to a redhead… and soon enough you’re best friends” her and max. “you’re dancing around the room when the night ends” you can’t convince me she didn’t do that. “your first kiss makes your head spin” “i swore i was gonna marry him but i realized some bigger dreams of mine” and “in this life, you’ll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team” we only know about el in her relations to other people. the other characters have pieces of their plots that show us who they are outside of the group. el, however, only has the rainbow room and her interactions with the party. even in california, we can see the heavy influence from her old friends.
Love Story: Lumax!! “i close my eyes and the flashback starts” she thinks about Lucas for her happy memories. “daddy said stay away from Juliet” Billy tried to keep them apart; it’s not hard to imagine her stepdad would have an issue with him too. “escape this town for a little while” it’s not unlikely that they would want to leave hawkins. “they’re trying to tell me how to feel” both the racism and people trying to help her through Billy
Hey Stephen: STEDDIE!!!!! from Eddie. “i know looks can be deceiving” “as we walked, we were talking and i didn’t say half the things i wanted to” “of all the girls throwing rocks at your window, i’ll be the one standing out there in the cold” the whole chorus reminds me of the joke that Eddie hates loving a jock, but he just can’t help it. the references to shinning and i just know eddie would call steve his “knight in shinning armor” “all those other girls are beautiful but would they write a song for you?”
White Horse: El and Mike. I think El would get her ideas of romance from fairytales and movies. “this ain’t hollywood, this is a small town” “i was a dreamer before you went and let me down” “this is a big world, that was a small town” she’s gonna move on and be okay
You Belong With Me: Byler. the whole song is about being in love with your best friend. ignore the internalized misogyny and view it as “you guys are so different, but we fit together at such a good level” “i’m the one who makes you laugh when you know you’re about to cry” and the “crazy together” where they comforted each other.
Breathe: Nancy about Barb. there isn’t a huge reason other than the fact that this doesn’t fit any of the breakups and i think we don’t discuss the nancy-barb thing enough
Tell Me Why: Stancy. “you know you got a mean streak” about both of them. “i remember what you said last night” and the halloween party. “you tell me you love me then you cut me down” steve did not do enough to help nancy deal with losing barb. i feel like their relationship would have been very on-again-off-again and toxic tbh.
You’re Not Sorry: Stancy again. like i said, on-again-off-again
The Way I Loved You: Jopper. “he” is bob, “you” is hopper. i fully think they dated before she got with lonnie. and that it was a rollercoaster relationship. i think they were on-again-off-again and when they were off, she got with lonnie and ended up pregnant so they stayed together. i don’t care if it’s canon or not, that’s what happened.
Forever and Always: Byler fighting. “we almost never speak, i don’t feel welcomed anymore” they used to be so much closer. “i stare at the phone, he still hasn’t called” mike didn’t write will. “did i say something way to honest?” mike telling will “it’s not my fault you don’t like girls” “here’s to everything coming down to nothing” tearing down Castle Byers
The Best Day: El. the first part about hopper. “i know you’re not scared of anything at all” and saying hopper is her hero. the second part about max. “i don’t know how my friends could be so mean” and her breakup with Mike. “we talk and window shop till i’ve forgotten their names” “i have an excellent father. his strength is making me stronger” the last part about joyce. “ you set up a paint set in the kitchen and you’re talking to me” joyce would show her so many different hobbies. “you’re the prettiest lady in the whole world” and “i love you for giving me your eyes” she starts doing her hair and dressing like joyce.
Change: the whole group, talking about the 4-year battle with a mirror/hell dimension “i’ll do anything to see it through” “the time will come for us to finally win.” “it’s hard to fight when the fight ain’t fair” “fight for what we’ve worked for all these years” “it was the fight of our lives”
Jump Then Fall: Steddie from Steve. “i watch you talk, you don’t notice” “i like the way your hair falls in your face” “i love each freckle on your face” from eddie “when people say things that bring you to your knees, i’ll catch you” i also just think this is how steve loves
Untouchable: ronance. robin loves the stars, you can’t convince me otherwise “untouchable like a distant diamond sky” “it’s like a million little stars spelling out your name” “i’m reaching out and i can’t tell you why” i also love the idea of “untouchable” being because robins scared to make her move (as we saw during her opening scene in season 4)
Come In With The Rain: stobin. platonic of course. i have a horrible feeling steve is gonna die in season 5 and i doubt robin will handle it well. “i know all the steps to your door but i don’t wanna go there anymore” the entire chorus “i know you by heart, and i don’t even know where to start”
Superstar: steddie. very steddie album. but imagine eddie going on tour and steve joking he’s gonna have to fight off all the groupies in love with eddie and he surprises him at one of his shows “you played in bars, you play guitar” “you sing me to sleep” steve would totally call eddie “superstar”
The Other Side Of The Door: lumax. we know max pushes people away when things get tough and we’ve also seen her and lucas fight and break up various times but she still loves him and misses him.
Today Was A Fairytale: i honestly can’t think of one
You All Over Me: Stancy, from steve’s perspective. he changed *because* of nancy. he’s a better person because of her. “i still got you all over me” “we were never really meant to be so i lied and i cried and i watched a piece of myself die” “held out and held on, god knows, too long”
that’s all i got
