Day 1 of posting fanfic ideas I do not have time to write cuz, well, I get one idea per day AT LEAST. In this episode: MINSUNG bridgeton au in which Minho is the only son of a rich ass lord or whatever so everyone is desperate to get him to marry but he is known to be quite arrogant and piss off every possible bride or parents in law (he doesn't even do it on purpose, maybe)

He sometimes disappears in the middle of a ball because he somehow managed to find a cat straying (lol) around the garden so he follows around & he keeps feeding stray cats

Obviously he is an ace in fencing, riding, literature, etc.

Entrance Han Jisung, son of a business man who just worked very hard to get where he is now but is not of any royal blood, maybe the mother happened to be, maybe not, anyway the family is "just" in the same circles as the royal ones because of business and because they need their products. Doesn't stop them from gossiping or talking shit about them.

The problem: Jisung is charismatic af and not exactly a gentleman as the ladies are used to it (he a hoe maybe), he also still wanders around the streets and meets with friends for political discussions, gambling, etc etc. He does not treat anyone differently.

Sooo one day Minho's horse runs away or whatever, or maybe he is busy with another cat, however, they meet & instantly click, which the lord does not find as funny - he is pressuring Minho into good manners & a noble environment and the royals still haven't really accepted Jisung as one of their own.

So he keeps hanging out with him (only to piss off his dad ofc) anddd what else could it be - Minho never wanted to be a Lord, he wanted to be a dancer which obviously isn't manly or fancy enough, so he never told anyone except there is this fruity guy named Hyunjin who is the youngest of a royal family so no one really cares about what he does (he throws fruity parties & wants to be a painter) and Minho sometimes trains there. Jisung composes piano songs & minho ends up dancing for him, tension evolves, we know what we know.

But then the older lord finds out about the parties and forbids minho from going there or meeting Jisung, who is also pressured into becoming a business man by his dad to maintain the family's wealth.

Soooo Minho is forced into engagement & Jisung, in one last attempt, writes a letter to him telling him he will run away/travel for business purposes overseas asking him to go with him. Which Minho recieves on the day of his wedding obviously.

Minho runs, but Jisung has already left his home, so he rushes to the haven only to find that he is too late and the ship has already sailed.

Minho gets married and years pass...his wife gifts him with a child, a son, before she dies in childbirth. Grieving, he moves away into a castle in a small town, barely interacting with the world. Refusing to get married again.

Until one day, a ship comes into the haven of said town, lead by no other than bang chan & his crew...
