Like a Firework, it shines bright and fades out quietly

This show is underrated. I use that loosely, but dommit it’s true. Warner Bros. was behind this, people behind Cartoon Network’s MAD were creating this, it’s a simple sketch comedy, and it stars a dog, a diamond, a pineapple, an ice cream cone, a piece of candy, and the moon. This is a textbook definition of zaniness and surreal humor and every time I look at it, I get a gen👏u👏ine 👏laugh. So, when I see that it has been cancelled after less than half a year, I’m dumbfounded. May I mention, IT HAS COLOURS?!

Does Disney XD need some adjusting? I mean I know they’re making money from their plan #742,981,626, but I’m seeing a pattern here. They wring in a good looking cartoon for the kids to tune in (and eventually tune out to) and then move on with life without giving it as much recognition and admiration it needs to stay alive. If results show that it’s not doing quality performance in rerunable entertainment, good or not, it’ll get cancelled before it reaches season three. Think about this; Penn Zero, The 7D, Wander, Randy Cunningham, this, all shows SCRAPPED after limited to just two seasons. Wanna know why good stuff like Star Wars Rebels and Star vs. get to continue? A) Like Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the already hooked fanbase made it sure that Rebels went on as long it needed to. B) Star vs. Evil was so hyped up, and continuous banked good views starting out, that Disney could see it have a future unlike the rest. Audience is the key to a show’s success, merchandise or not, and a show will slowly get the boot if nobody’s really checking on it.

Know why I say this show is brilliant, it works without context. They produce a setup, but it almost never goes with an expected punchline. When I say almost, I mean there is a varied yet recurring skit that appears three times in an episode, but those still tackles your expectations. See an episode blind, they’re skits can be nuanced and yet on the nose, you might not help yourself but see how it turns out.

Well, at least they have Youtube to sit there quietly and drink their juicy juice. Right Now Kapow was a good cartoon, and I hope the fabric reality of Tumblr will see this as a underrated gem, like plenty of others. It’s a shame, really. I mean how could they have... wait a minute. Non-grounded characters, surreal comedy, never pulls an expected joke, expressive and similar design, bright and vibrant colours. Oh my god. I KNEW IT! THE PROBLEM SOLVERZ NEVER DIED! I must to track down the creators and make them pay. Cartoon Network will rue the day they decided to experiment with what should appear on television. TO CALIFORNIA!
