harvery's main verse does follow the events of c.aos comic, where he was killed due to witnessing sabrina's dark baptism by the plan of madam satan to resurrect edward spellman in harvey's body. the only divergence is once edward finds out who manipulated sabrina to resurrect him, he helps brina bring harvey back (and leaves his body) only to secretly possess another's body, though that is unknown to anyone.

once harvey is resurrected from the dead, he is not the same human teenage boy he once was. his spirit is back but he lost a piece of his soul.

i do want to add that being resurrected did affect his mental and physical health. he sees hallucinations of his time in limbo and is in chronic pain once he returns to his body. there are times when harvey can't differentiate whether his surrounding is real or if he's dreaming --- causing him to lose sleep and be restless for days at a time.

i also want to add that he does now know about witches and some aspects of the supernatural world due to the events causing his death and reanimation. it does take him some time to adjust to this new information but he is dependent on the spellman family to tell him the truth and help him readjust to the world of the living.
