Apparently my brother went to the Trump rally in Madison Square Garden because it was free and he was curious what it would be like. I also find it both slightly funny and mildly concerning that his text about this little excursion explicitly mentions him checking safety measures before hand and then also listing them.

#for clarity this guy is not a trump supporter #he is a grad student visiting nyc for his research project and is apparently creative in his tourist activities #in case you didnt know we are dutch so this is very much cultural curiosity #because uuhm #we dont do elections like That #also with how much our dad likes to Worry about our safety sometimes that might have something to do with the level of detail in his report #like last year i got a super pretty photo of my brother on the edge of a mountain in austria #and explicitly waited with sending it until we were gone from the edge #and also mentioned in the text that we were in fact safely away from the edge of the mountain #pretty sure his gf has that pic has her lockscreen
