Shawn Fein, United Auto Workers president, is on stage. Quite possibly a reaction to the GOP Convention having the head of the Teamsters inexplicably speaking there.

He's already got the crowd joining him in repetitions of "Trump. Did. Nothing." Kamala Harris, he says, stood with striking UAW workers.

He then takes off his jacket to reveal a t-shirt that says "TRUMP IS A SCAB VOTE HARRIS."

He talks about corporate greed and how it erodes the nation. The support of Harris and Biden and the thousands of striking auto workers got the benefits they were striking for. But a year later, Stellantis is reneging, he says, and holding corporate America accountable is imperative.

Trump laughs about workers going on strike, while Harris stands with them. "UNION YES!" signs are waved throughout the convention center.

They want to blame the working class's troubles on race, on LGBT+ people, on the border, to divide the working class, because the rich think they're stupid. But united, we are strong! With someone who knows how to fight, we can win!
