Well, what do you know! An anime convention has started up in Amity Park. Whenever such events take place, you can usually count on one thing to see. Cosplay...and LOTS OF IT! And for the people of Amity Park, this is no exception. Even the residents of the Ghost Zone are getting in on the act. In the first pic, we have Ember cosplaying as Ino Yamanaka from Naruto (Shippuden version), Penelope Spectra as Temari from Naruto (pre-Shippuden version so she can show herself off more) and Desiree coming in as Madame Shirley from One Piece (as you can see, it's a bubble pipe she has in her hands, she's not actually smoking). The background of this pic is simply based in the convention's Photo Room, where patrons can have their pictures professionally taken in their cosplay. And in case you're wondering why a professional photographer would actually want to take a picture of these three, well...let's just say they didn't give him a whole lot of choice in the matter.

This first pic comes by way of a DA member, who is really the main reason this whole thing got started. His original request was that he wanted to see his favorite DP lady, Ember McLain, in some martial arts gear. Well, we got to talking and this basically went from a Naruto cosplay idea to a general cosplay idea, which eventually grew into an idea for an entire series on this subject. Which brought us to the second pic.  Sam, never turning away from an opportunity to let her bad girl out, is stepping out as the "Anti-Chun-Li" herself, Juri Han (Sam also never turning away from an opportunity to be “anti”-things). Danny, meanwhile, has come to the party as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon, opting to accompany Sam as a more dashing figure. All in all, I think they both pull it off nicely. From there, the rest of the Fenton family gets in on the fun.  Jack has come out, dressed as Android 8 from "Dragonball" (one of the few anime characters whose shoes he's big enough to fill), with Maddie dressed as Dorothy Wayneright from "The Big O" (matching Jack's costume by dressing up as an android in her own right...or "Wayneright", as the case may be).  Jazz, meanwhile, arrives as Asuka Tenjoin from "Yu-Gi-Oh GX".  I was originally planning to cosplay her as Orihime Inoue from "Bleach", but Jazz hasn't got the figure for it.  Truthfully, she hasn't got the figure for Asuka, either, but they're much closer, in terms of personality.  And then, we’ve got Danielle as Pan from "Dragonball GT" (''nuff said). I'll gradually be banging out more pics for this series as time goes on (and as I come up with more ideas). But for right now, this is good enough to start.  Also, since these pictures are literally years apart, it gives you a chance to see what subtle improvements were made to my artwork during that period.  Either way, I hope you like what you see. ^_^
