There's a world wide event and Danny comes out of retirement to help protect his new home.

The locals are like 'obviously that's our resident silly bean, Danny, but we're not going to out him. His ice dome protected the entire school campus for several hours, even while he was flying around and punching those creatures.'

Superman comes to check on his family a few hours later, and they all pretend they don't recognise Clark, like usual. They keep the 'ruse' up about Fanny being the real Phantom, and are pleased when Clark goes along with it.

Clark, however, is horrified. That right there is the real deal. His Kryptonian eyes can see more than human ones can, so he can tell exactly how Eldritch Danny really is. He can also hear the lack of heartbeat.

No dp x dc crossovers make use of the fact how insanely marketable Danny is. Like in the episode where freakshow exposed Danny to the whole world we got to see so much phantom merch and cosplay. So what if it's something like the whole world thinks that phantom is a character made for publicity and even a bunch of justice league members know about him/have his merch. And as we see in that episode imagine the sudden book of merch when the entire world realizes phantom is real.

With these design trademark and licenses, Danny has enough money to make as much equipment as his heart desires, an entire workshop of his own, and the funds to move to a comfortable apartment far away from Amity. What location that would be specifically? That's for you to figure out ;)
