EXPECTING: Upper Moons
This is just the reaction of the demons if you told them you were pregnant. It's been rattling around my mind forever and I had to write it out. Take it as a prequel to my Demon Dad's post, gonna do a P2 with the lower moons right after.
IMPORTANT: Daki will be included in Gyutaro's part and Zohakutan in Hantengu's cuz he's a part of Hantengu but both are PLATONIC ONLY!! Also I write Karaku strictly as the Relaxation clone instead of pleasure because everything I write is sfw.
Warnings for pregnancy mentions, Douma/Karaku ARE their own warnings, possibly some innuendos.
KOKUSHIBO:
"I'm pregnant."
-you told him as soon as you saw his form come to your shared home. It had been nearly three and a half months since you last saw your husband and nearly three months since you had come to the shocking conclusion that you both were about to become parents.
-You had to wait for a while because Muzan's business has his most trusted right hand man gone for weeks to months on end just to carry out business. You knew what you signed up for when you married the highest ranked demon but it didn't make your waiting anymore easy.
-You were worried and anxious the entire time you waited for him to come home. Staying up late a lot of the time to see if he'd be coming. So when he finally showed up expecting a hug and kiss you blurted it out from the pent up anticipation.
-His reaction was to freeze completely mid hug towards you, and just stand there and stare. He's the demon with the fastest reaction time besides Muzan, so he was able to process it rather quickly although color him surprised still.
-He's unsure what to believe at first. "That is... unlikely. You must have just been sick and lazy." He says referring to your recent weight gain and sickness. To which you inform him you had already seen at least two doctors and a midwife to confirm it all. He still doesn't believe it so you demand he look through the transparent world and take a look at you. If you WERE pregnant it'd confirm it if not then you both could find out what was wrong with you.
-He agrees and you stand still as half lidded bored eyes stared at you. Before six eyes widened in complete shock as they zero in on your middle. His body goes rigid as ice... before those six eyes roll up into his skull and he falls over with a heavy THUD!! sound echoing in your home. He didn't faint because you were pregnant, he fainted because of the extra life in your body.
-SURPRISE! IT'S TWINS!
DOUMA:
"I'm pregnant."
-You've been feeling a bit sick lately. At first thinking it was nothing but a stomach bug and it'd pass a few days with rest, but even after two weeks, even your lover got concerned and said you should be looked over by the cult's resident doctor. Well surprise surprise.
-He legit doesn't even register it. It flies right over his head when you first tell him. "That's nice, Dear! Did the doctor figure out why you're sick lately?" He blinks as you slam your forehead into the dinner table. "Was it something I said?"
-Look sometimes he's really smart other times he's stupid af.
-It doesn't register in his mind until he's in the middle of a sermon and it finally registers in his mind why you've been angry with him and what you said. He ends up quickly cutting the meeting short and leaving to find you quickly.
-Ends up being kicked out of your shared bedroom for a month begging to be let back in- "Lotus Blossom. Sweetie pie. Honey bunny! Please let me back in! I'm sorry!" Your response was to open the door and throw a blanket and pillow for him to use before angrily slamming it back shut. He ended up curled up on the ground in front of your door continuing to beg until you finally give in and opened it.
-Genuinely excited but he's definitely going to be dumb about a few things. ALL of the Kizuki are horrified Douma reproduced especially Muzan and Akaza.
AKAZA:
"I'm pregnant."
-He's absolutely stunned for the longest moment. When you told him you two needed to have a serious talk he was bracing himself into receiving news that you wanted to break up with him or a demon had been lurking about with how serious your tone was but never in his hundreds of years living was he expecting THIS.
-He stands there blinking and opening and closing his mouth mimicking a fish for the longest ten minutes of both of your lives..until the questions start in a panic. "Are you sure?! Is this a bad joke?! Did you see a doctor yet?! What did he say?! Are you SURE you're not just sick or something?!" He's not asking to be mean. He just wants to be sure this isn't just a bad day dream gone wrong.
-You answer all his questions calmly. Yes you saw a doctor. Yes you're pregnant. No it's not a joke or sickness.
-He goes silent again for a few seconds..before big tears gather in those pretty lashes of his and he lets out a choke as he wraps his arms around you and happy cries into your shoulder. He feels like the most blessed man in the world!
HANTENGU(+CLONES):
"I'm pregnant."
-Ever see a woman faint from shock? You knew your husbands' main body was an older gentleman but he was a powerful demon so you weren't exactly expecting him to freeze, shriek out in complete shock/fear, and then faint to the floor with a thud sound.
-It left you blinking at him as Karaku and Urogi laugh and point before Aizetsu gives them both a smack upside the head in Sekido's place.
-Safe to say he was pretty scared and shaken up.
SEKIDO:
-Sekido.exe has stopped working. Angry man just freezes up and lets his jaw drop in shock looking like a dam goldfish making both Urogi and Karaku laugh at his reaction. Give him a while. It's gonna take at least an hour for him to let it sink in and a whole ass week for him to come to terms with it. He's not angry about it but he is shocked. So very shocked.
URAMI:
-As soon as the two words leave your mouth he's whipping around at Karaku with a scowling, accusing face. "What the hell did you do?!" "What?! Why are you signaling ME out?!" "Take a guess!"
-Is surprisingly very calm about the situation. Groaning and rubbing his temples annoyed. You're surprised by his lack of surprise but his answer is pretty acceptable- "You have six husbands. I was expecting it to happen eventually."
AIZETSU:
-Like his fellow clones is shocked at first but Urogi's and Karaku's laughter as well as the sound of Hantengu fainting pulled him out of it enough to smack the two in Sekido's place to shut them up.
-Is one of the more serious ones. Cries and hugs you tight asking if you're feeling ok and if you need anything right at that moment. Give him a moment he's very emotional right now.
UROGI:
-It doesn't register for him at first. He's too busy laughing at Hantengu and Urami yelling at Karaku and Sekido's shocked face to really comprehend what he just heard.
-Big bonehead so it's not really hitting home until ten minutes in when it dawns on him. He freezes in his tracks for a solid ten seconds mouth open in a shocked smile..before making a choked ostrich noise and snapping back to you shocked but overjoyed in happiness. Expect him to push Aizetsu off you to hug you tightly.
KARAKU:
-Like Urogi he doesn't register it at first too busy laughing at Hantengu/Sekido and arguing with Urami to notice what you said but Aizetsu knocking his head made him realize what exactly happened.
-Stands there for almost as long as Sekido really. But eventually like Urogi he's absolutely happy with the news and overjoyed. Also low-key takes credit for everything annoying everyone.
ZOHAKUTAN:
-Like Sekido he's mostly shocked but it quickly turns to jealousy, annoyance, but still mostly shock. He's used to being the youngest so it's pretty much a jealous older sibling fit. But eventually he does warm up to the idea of becoming a big brother/uncle figure, but he won't admit it.
GYOKKO:
"I'm pregnant."
-(Ik but just for this let's just go with it.) Legit stops in the middle of making his latest vase to whip around and look at you wide eyed. Something he NEVER does! You can insult, assault, jabber on, and anything else you can think of but if he's in the middle of making art, nothing is going to interrupt him unless it's Muzan demanding his attention. However he does stop and look at you when you tell him which is a feat in of itself.
-He doesn't seem to notice at first only mumbling an 'uh huh' as he continues before he just ends up stopping molding the clay in his hands and whipping to you. There's a moment of you both just staring at one another before he just replies- "....Oh."
-He's not sure what to think tbh.
GYUTARO (+PLATONIC UME/DAKI):
"I'm pregnant."
-Gyutaro.exe has stopped working. His entire brain becomes a big error blue screen as he just ends up staring at you along with Daki for the longest time. Both siblings shocked his girlfriend had just come up to them and announced her news so bluntly.
-Gyutaro eventually reacts first giving you a deep frown. "Oh haha. Very funny! Cut the shit out! I fucking hate jokes!" He gets angrier when you get mad and INSISTS that it's not a joke. It takes a few minutes of you arguing and yelling at him(which you usually NEVER did) to get it through his head.
-It then dawns on him that you probably weren't joking. He's asks you multiple times panicked if you were SURE and if you were really really REALLY sure! You yell yes every time until he finally stops talking. Going extremely quiet before all the color drains from his face, his eyes roll back, and he faints.
-Daki absolutely laughs when she does finally process everything as well and thinking her brother's reaction is the funniest thing ever! However she's genuinely happy to become an Auntie already planning to dress them up and parade them around her. Is also super confident it's gonna be a girl.
NAKIME:
"I'm pregnant."
-Surprisingly very calm reaction. She simply stops playing for a moment to regard you very calmly like nothing is out of the ordinary and asks you one question. "Are you absolutely sure?" You confirm it and she simply nods before just going back to playing her biwa. "Very well but YOU are taking care of everything that involves it. If you need to go anywhere I'll do that for you but that's it."
-She respects your choices but sets her boundaries early.
KAIGAKU:
"I'm pregnant."
-Shocked and actually let's out a- "What the fuck?" outta shock.
-Much like Gyutaro gets very mad at first thinking you're joking and after arguing with you for a long time finally gives up on it being a joke but denies you're actually pregnant despite you insisting that you weren't. He's too stubborn to admit it and doubts it still until you literally drag him by the arm to the nearest doctor who surprise, surprise confirms you both are actually going to be parents.
-Kaigaku doesn't say anything. Still doesn't say anything as you both leave and go home until you ask him what he's thinking about. "I think I really regret that last date night."

2 + 27 w jk??💞
+ #12 with kookie please 👉👈
☇ prompt: 2. things you said through your teeth + 12. things you said when you thought i was asleep + 27. things you said through a closed door
➣ pairing: jungkook x reader
➣ genre: fakedating!au + postbreakup!au
➣ synopsis: jungkook asks you to be his date for his sister’s wedding because his family doesn’t know that you guys broke up
“You’re late,” Jungkook whispers as you sat next to him, preparing for the dinner rehearsal set.
“Well excuse me if I was working,” your narrow your eyes at him, fixing your posture as you took a sip of the glass of water from the table, drained out by your job at the hospital.
“I had to order you the salmon and potatoes.”
You look at him as you set down the water back onto the coaster, scrunching your eyebrows at him. “I’m allergic to salmon.”
Jungkook pauses and looks at you, blinking. “No, you’re not.”
“Yes, I am. I think I would know what I’m allergic to.”
You nearly feel your eye twitch when he shakes his head. “But you’ve had salmon before.”
“No, I haven’t,” you look at him incredulously. “Are you fucking serious right now, Jungkook?”
“Chill, okay, fuck. You can have my steak.”
“No, because then I’d feel bad,” you reason, knowing how taking other people’s food always made you feel a little guilt inside of you. “I just won’t eat.”
“Don’t be so stupid, it’s food,” Jungkook rolls his eyes.
“Don’t call me stupid.”
“Then just eat my goddamn steak—”
“Do my eyes deceive me?”
A voice immediately ends the bickering you and Jungkook were having, creating a quick facade of two lovers who have been together for 2 years. Your eyes immediately land on Aunt Lily, the one relative who absolutely adored you and Jungkook’s relationship. You remember her intruding you with questions about you and gushing about you and your relationship with Jungkook all the time to her friends.
With wide eyes, you meet Jungkook’s exact same facial expression, immediately plastering a smile on your face at the relative approaching.
“How are you two?” She asks, immediately grabbing hold of you and Jungkook’s hand in hers. “Oh, it is so refreshing to see two familiar faces still together.”
“Aunt Lily,” Jungkook feigns a laugh. “It’s nice to see you as well. We're—”
“You know I was scared that you two wouldn’t stay together because well,” Jungkook’s statement was cut off by Aunt Lily, a blame can be thrown to her lack of hearing, and short attention span. “Well, I know how scary it is to be in love with someone.”
You hear Jungkook nearly snort, a snort that referred to her three divorces in the past 20 years.
Scowling at him, you look back at Aunt Lily, her cream cardigan keeping her warm just like her heart. “Yes, it is very scary,” you agree, giving Jungkook the side eye.
“And commitment is frightening— oh, I lost my first husband because of that but ironically, he was the one that proposed!”
Eyebrows shooting up, you nod slowly, ignoring the fact that Jungkook was shifting beside you uncomfortably.
“Yup, commitment,” you repeat through gritted teeth. “Such a scary thing— even for men.”
“Oh, but you guys seem to make it work,” she cleans, eyes creating crescents as she was genuinely happy. “It really is nice to see you two together still. Especially since you were in Amsterdam for awhile, I was scared that I would never see you again.”
You peer over at Jungkook, who had his gaze trained somewhere else before you peer up at Aunt Lily, who chuckles lightly. Amsterdam was the one place that you dreamed about going to and hearing that Jungkook brought it up to his family as to where you had been or gone, you felt a churning feeling in your stomach.
“Okay, I won’t bother you two anymore, I’m going to bother Seulgi now. That damn girl, I didn’t think she would land on a man like Taeyong,” Aunt Lily shakes her head and looks at you and Jungkook once more. “Well I hope you two treat each other well. Hopefully I’ll live to see you two get married.”
And with a sad smile, you nod as she was on her way to bother the bride to be who was busy laughing about something Taeyong had said.
You turn your head to face Jungkook who was slightly flustered at the situation, but once the food came, you notice that he was quick to switch his plate with yours, and silence was the only thing between you two.
Later that night, less than 24 hours before the wedding, Jungkook’s thoughts were as loud as day.
Kicking and turning in the hotel bed sheets did him no good, and even closing his eyes to force sleep upon him was a meek attempt.
That was until his heart decided to take place of his own mind, and suddenly, he was getting up out of his hotel bed, shoving his feet into one of those cheap hotel slippers and walking down the hallway to your room.
He takes a deep breath, not wholly realizing that he was knocking on the wooden door and waiting a moment for the door to open. But as he did, he became completely conscious that the door might not even open.
Scratching the back of his head, he decided to knock his knuckles on the door once more.
“___?” he asks quietly. Jungkook felt a bit queasy talking behind the door when he knew that the probability of you being asleep at this time is at a high, but he didn’t care. He needed to let whatever his mind was keeping him up at night out. “You’re probably asleep, but I just wanted to thank you for doing this— pretending to be with me for the sake of this wedding, even though we really aren’t. I know it’s not your ideal scenario as your first experience of being a bridesmaid but I really do appreciate it and once the wedding is over, I’ll let everyone know that we broke up, including Aunt Lily. And uhm…” Jungkook’s began to trail off before he finally swallowed his pride and decided to say what he couldn’t a long time ago. “Just sorry. For everything. For this and for never telling you why I left. I don’t know if you could forgive me for the past.”
He pauses for a moment, before his lips are curling upwards. “I’ll see you tomorrow morning—”
And just then, the sound of the door opening has him raising his eyes and his hopes, but when he saw that the person who opened the door was not you, but someone in pajamas staring back at him with a confused and tired look, he felt all sorts of awkward crashing over him.
“Hey, man,” the stranger tiredly says, a yawn following after and it hits Jungkook just then that a total stranger has heard everything that Jungkook racked up to say only for your ears— not like he was expecting you to actually hear it, but it still horrifies him that a complete stranger has witnessed his vulnerability. “Sorry to ruin your moment, but you got the wrong room.”
“Shit, yeah,” Jungkook says, completely mortified. “Sorry you had to hear that.”
“Nah,” the stranger nonchalantly waves him off, letting out a tired chuckle. “If anything, I’m sorry that I was the one to hear it, not her.”
Jungkook shook his head, letting out a laugh of embarrassment.
“Look man, from the looks of it, she was willing to pretend to be with you for the sake of a wedding… hopefully not yours,” he lets out a dry chuckle. “I think if the girl was willing to put up a facade— I think she can forgive you,” he states simply.
Jungkook, staring back at the stranger who was rather wise for someone who looks a year older than him, gave a single nod, to which he did the same and closed the door. Jungkook’s mind was reeling, but what calmed him down was the stranger’s words, and he at least had that to thank for the embarrassment of an encounter.
And suddenly, when the door closed, another door opened.
“Or she already has.”
Jungkook thought he was crazy, but the minute he twirled to see your form behind him, his heart dropped.
So she did hear it.
“___,” he breathes, but barely. “Look, I'm—”
“I heard you,” you cut him off before you’re leaning against the door. “And don’t worry, I already forgave you.”
He was hesitant, and unsure as he stared at you and the way you were peaking your head out from the doors. “And you’re not just saying that?”
“I might be,” you jokingly began, but the way the look on his face fades, you immediately shake your head.
“I forgave you awhile ago because it just makes my life easier than to hold a weight of a grudge,” he watches you tiredly shrug. “But to be disappointed that you left me without a reason? Slightly… but we all move on, right? Your reason isn’t mine and I’ve came to terms with that. To blame you for apologizing just now? Absolutely.”
Hearing all of that, he couldn’t help but to express that little feeling of elation and relief as he let his lips curl into an amused smirk. “Better late than never.”
You smile. “Better late than never.”
And there was that banal moment, standing there, both of your minds alert and awake at the middle of the night before a big day. But it was nice, sweet, and— as Aunt Lily would say— refreshing.
Then after having his time to cherish that little minuscule moment, he let out a sigh that he felt like he was holding since forever. “Okay, I guess I’ll just let you sleep tonight. I know how long you take getting ready.”
Rolling your eyes, you shake your head. “I don’t take that long.”
“You take up my whole lifespan.”
“And you overreact too much,” you say before you’re offering him a sleepy smile. “Goodnight, Jungkook.”
“Goodnight, ____.”
That was what Jungkook liked a lot about you.
You were quick to forgive as you always preach about never holding grudges that weigh you down. Once, you had a toxic best friend, constantly trying to one up you, constantly trying to put you down, constantly giving you hell for all the mistakes you did, but even then, the minute she apologized for being a terrible friend after accusing you of ruining her relationship with her cheating boyfriend, you were quick to forgive, but you managed to keep your distance from her ever since then.
Jungkook silently hoped, as he was walking back to his designated room, that you wouldn’t do the same to him— the distancing away yourself part, but knowing that this situation was all sorts of odd and nostalgic and bittersweet and—
He forgot his hotel room key inside his own hotel room.
Groaning in frustration but realizing he had to keep it down, he let out a sigh before he cursed under his breath silently, knowing that the groom is probably in his own suite and knowing that he was stuck, he had to trudge his way back to your front hotel room, painfully knocking on the door— the right one this time.
What caught him by surprise wasn’t the fact that you opened the door, but you opened it within a millisecond.
He was slightly amused, but his amusement would have caused him to be cocky, and his cockiness will most likely get a door slammed to his face, so he covered his slight mirth by scratching the back of his neck.
“I kind of…” he barely starts before the cockiness he had possessed earlier that moment was transferred to you when a curl of your lips and an eyebrow arch painted your face. “I may have forgotten my keycard in the room, and uh…”
That shit-eating grin on your face as you watch him awkwardly attempt to finish his sentence was very well evident, and he couldn’t help but to narrow his eyes at you.
“You know what, I’ll sleep out here.”
Bursting into fits of chuckles, you shake your head before you catch him by surprise as you grab ahold of his wrist.
“You can stay the night,” you roll your eyes. “But if you try something, Jeon.”
He immediately rose his hands up. “The groomsmen would like to show up to his sister’s wedding.”
Giving that smile he hasn’t seen in awhile, you turn around and let him in, immediately climbing into your bed and creating enough space for the two of you.
And it was that little glimmer of hope, that silver lining that sparked something within him— and gave him just a little bit of courage.
Jungkook woke up that morning, early enough that none of the other parties had woken up yet, including you.
You were snoring softly beside him that he couldn’t help but wonder what it was like to wake up to you every morning, like this.
He wouldn’t say guilt filled his body, but he did wish he didn’t leave someone like you with not a single reason as to why he did. Admittedly he felt regretful, watching someone so beautiful and so forgiving could be in front of him. To say that he cared a lot about you would be an understatement.
He stares, one hand resting behind his head and the other reluctantly hovering over your cheek, before he allowed his knuckles to just barely graze over it, careful enough not to wake you up.
“There were nights where I wished I never left you,” he whispers, quietly, eyebrows scrunching. “You once said that something that can be so bad could be so good. I guess I never really thought about that until I left. You know, letting the relationship go a little more steady and letting that little thing that felt like hell to me become a safe haven. I guess I never gave us a real chance.”
He lets out a light scoff, retracting his hand from your face as he indulges in the art of your image in front of him. You were talking about something you learned about called The Nova Effect, and though almost 98% of it was pure gibberish along with your dash of nerdy expertise, he took note of what he could.
“I guess asking that little chance now would be a stretch,” he smiles, humoring himself to the thought that maybe you would give you and him a chance. “But you also said that something that can be so good could be so bad.” He purses his lips before he lets out a sigh when he realizes that this moment— you sleeping soundly, that feeling of chance in his stomach— will probably be the last; that after the wedding, he was going to fully and completely let go of you.
“It was good while it lasted.”
The wedding went great, other than the fact that Taeyong accidentally walked in on Seulgi when she was getting her makeup done that morning. Fortunately, they were able to make it to the “I do” part and not a single curse of “seeing the bride before the wedding” was casted upon them— at least not yet.
For Jungkook, he felt a bit queasy when he couldn’t get his eyes off of you when in front of him during the wedding ceremony, looking all beautiful and lovely in the color of lilac. When you caught his eye, you had gleamed at him with the smile of your eyes and even then, he refused to remove his eyes from you. He wished that he didn’t have to say goodbye to you again.
At the reception, after everyone had taken their fill of the buffet, it was at the moment when everyone was slightly buzzed and the performer who sang lively jazz music had everyone swinging and dancing on the dance floor, including yourself.
Jungkook, being sober and sitting at his designated table, was talking to one of the other groomsmen until he was grabbed by whom he assumed was his girlfriend and was left alone.
That was until you showed up, plopping yourself onto his lap, and by the whiff of your smell that consisted of honey and a bit of the champagne served, he knew you were tipsy.
Your arms were wrapped around his neck and he found his hand instinctively holding your waist and the other holding your thigh, and he didn’t realize it until you leaned into his touch.
“You’re tipsy,” he observes and you let out a laugh.
“Not really,” you retort back, crinkling your nose before you immediately pull back to look at him, big beady eyes staring into his. “Can I tell you a secret?”
“A secret?” He laughs amusedly, knowing that something from your tipsy mind would probably be something dumb or mind blowing.
You hum in response before you lean in again, bringing your lips to his ear. “I heard you.”
Jungkook, furrowing his eyebrows, pulls back to look at you. “I know, you told me.” Did the champagne block out her memory of what happened that last night where you heard him express his apology to another stranger?
You laugh, shaking your head. “No, no. I heard you this morning.”
“Did I wake you up when I was leaving?”
“No, idiot,” you sigh. “The Nova Effect. You remembered.”
And it hits Jungkook right in the head, another set of mortification when he realized that you actually heard him.
Maybe he shouldn’t be expressing his thoughts out loud anymore.
“What?”
“Something so bad to be so good. Something so good to be so bad,” you repeat. “I heard everything.”
Jungkook was silent as he was blinking at you, like a lost puppy.
“And you know, this good doesn’t have to be bad,” you start slowly. And maybe he was confused and maybe he wasn’t hearing you right, but either one, you couldn’t help but laugh at his blank expression. “This,” you say, referring to him and you. “Doesn’t have to be the last.”
Jungkook opens his mouth, lost at words. “So you’re…”
“We… can start over,” you began. “I’m willing to, if you are.”
Jungkook manages to smile. “Better late than never.”
Laughing at that, you shake your head at him, continuing to enjoy the night while Jungkook was being his usual joking and cocky self.
“You two look pretty cozy for being broken up,” Seulgi says, a smirk forming on her lips as she grazes her eyes at the two people in front of her.
“What?” You ask, immediately sitting straight up in Jungkook’s lap, your laughter over something he mention beginning to die out. He sat back up straight as well and blinked at his sister who was smiling into her champagne glass in hand.
“Fucking hell,” Jungkook rolls his eyes, resting his head against your shoulder before he looks up at his sister. Meanwhile, you were confused. “You knew?”
“Oh please, what type of sister would I be if I didn’t know that my own brother was heartbroken,” Seulgi scoffs, shaking her head.
“Then you just let me believe that you didn’t know?” Jungkook asks in disbelief. “What the hell?”
“Hey, you not telling me that you and ___ broke up was all you,” Seulgi defends. “I invited her because she’s the only girl you’ve ever dated that I actually like.”
You smile at her. “Is it too late to get you to marry me?” You felt Jungkook squeeze your hip, causing you to laugh a little.
“Great, I just keep embarrassing myself left and right,” Jungkook sighs as Seulgi shrugs her bare shoulders.
“Kookie, the fool.”
Laughing at that, you lean back into Jungkook’s touch as he was sighing in embarrassment of this whole wedding weekend. He was truly debating on keeping his thoughts closed off, but he realized that in the end, everything turned out okay. Besides the fact that a stranger heard what he had said.
“Alright, lovebirds, unless you’re planning to get a room, get your damn asses on the floor,” Seulgi says, point the rim of her empty glass to the both of you, stalking away to find her other half.
As she does so, you stood up from Jungkook’s lap, taking Seulgi’s advice and grabbing his hand and realizing that maybe, just maybe, you already found your other half.

Stay...or feed The Pig. Pt 1
I slowly opened my eyes. My head was swimming and a dull pain surrounded my throat. I was thirsty. That was the first thing I noticed. I licked my dry lips as my surroundings faded into focus. My body ached and I realized it was because I was tightly bound to a metal chair in the middle of an empty room. The barren concrete walls were stained and dirty, the floor beneath my bare feet was cold and slightly wet. A single bulb lit the room, dangling from the ceiling by a string. It cast moving shadows and I blinked back darkness. An open door stood before me, but I couldn't see anything but the wall of a hallway.
I tried to clear my head, tried to remember how I got here. I squeezed my eyes shut and forced myself not to panic. I slowed my breathing and focused my thoughts, desperately trying to summon some recollection of why I was here.
I couldn't remember anything.
I opened my eyes and exhaled, my parched throat throbbing. I could hear sound echoing off the hallway walls outside the door. Screaming, clanging, howling, all very distant but that did nothing to help calm my nerves.
“Hello?!” I cried, the word tearing at my vocal cords. I felt my chest hitch in pain but I cleared my throat and yelled again.
“Is anyone there!? Hello!?”
The dark hallway remained silent except for the constant echoes. I shut my mouth and tried to wriggle free of my bindings, but the rope was knotted impossibly tight. I fought back against my imagination as it flooded my mind with horrific scenarios of what awaited me. If I could only remember!
Suddenly, footsteps erupted from outside the door, a rapid patter of small feet. My hopes rose and I trained my attention on the door, praying it was help.
A young boy ran into the room, dressed in a red onsey, complete with padded feet. Stretched over his face was a plastic Devil mask. The eye holes revealed massive blue eyes that greeted me curiously. Taken back, I opened my mouth to speak but that's when I noticed something was off. His eyes were huge, impossibly round and bulging from their sockets. It sent a shiver of unease down my spine, but I shook it off. This child might be able to free me.
“Hey!” I hissed, urgently, “Hey kid, can you get me out of here?!”
The boy took a step closer, cocking his head, but remaining silent.
I rattled my bound arms against the chair, “Cut me free, please, I shouldn't be here, this is some kind of mistake!”
The boy eyed me behind his strange mask and stopped directly in front of me. He leaned in close and whispered, his voice like wet silk, “You did a bad thing...”
Confused, I shook my head, “No! No this is a mistake! I didn't do anything!”
The boy's enormous blue eyes suddenly filled with sadness, “Oh, you did a really, really bad thing...”
I shook my head again, violently, “No! I'm sorry! I don't remember, just please get me out of this chair!”
Suddenly, before either of us could speak again, a man came charging into the room. He was overweight and dressed in overalls, his grizzled face twisted in seething anger. He was holding a sawed off shotgun in his arms.
“I didn't do anything!” I cried as he advanced on us, my voice cracking, “I'm not supposed to be here!”
The big man ignored me and instead grabbed the kid and shoved him hard against the wall. The boy grunted as his back struck the concrete and his eyes rose to meet the grizzled man's.
Wordlessly, the man raised his shotgun, placed it against the boy's forehead, and blew his head off. Chunks of gore splattered the wall as shock slugged me in the stomach like an iron fist. My ears rang and time seemed to slow as I watched in horror as the headless body crumpled to the ground.
My breath rushed back into my lungs and time seemed to readjust.
“Jesus fucking CHRIST!” I screamed, straining against the ropes, my eyes bulging in horrific shock, “WHAT THE FUCK!?”
The man ignored my screams as he bent down and picked up the boy. He slung the ruined corpse over his shoulder and walked out the doorway.
Suddenly, the hallway erupted with malicious laughter, a chorus of voices all howling in glee. I shut my eyes, the noise deafening, as absolute terror filled my every pore.
After a few moments, the laughter faded and I cautiously opened my eyes, unable to believe what I had just witnessed.
“Hello.”
I jumped as I realized there was another man standing before me. He was dressed in a simple, white button down shirt and jeans. His brown hair was cut short and he appeared to be in his early thirties. His green eyes were dull and lifeless, his full lips pulled down at the corners.
“What is going on!? Where am I!?” I cried, new fear pooling in my stomach like hot blood.
The man crossed his arms, “So you're the new one huh?” He shook his head, “You people disgust me.”
Questions bubbled on my lips but he waved them off with a sharp chop of his hand, slicing the air and demanding my silence.
He ran his tongue over his teeth, sneering, “You look like you've already seen some of the horrors this place holds huh? Yes, I can tell by the look in your eyes. You're terrified. You've seen something haven't you? It doesn't seem all that bad now does it, looking back? You've been here five minutes and already you're shitting your pants.”
“Where am I?” I gasped, unable to hold back any longer, “What do you people want?”
The man crossed his arms behind his back, “I bet you want to get out of here don't you? I bet you'd like to go back to your home, your family, everything.”
“Please,” I interrupted, “Whatever I did to you...I'm sorry, I really am, but I don't remember!”
The man rolled his eyes, “You didn't do anything to me. You did it to yourself. You really don't remember anything?”
I shook my head and felt tears brimming in my eyes, liquid fear.
The man looked at me with contempt, “You waited until your wife left for work and then you went out to the woodshed and hung yourself. You're dead.”
The recent memory rose in my mind like a monster from a bog. My eyes went wide. As much as I wanted to deny it...he was right. I had killed myself. The incident tore through my brain like a bullet train and left me reeling.
“I'm Danny, by the way,” the man said, ignoring the shocked look on my face, “And I'm number two here. I run the orientation process. I want to make this quick because I'm tired of repeating this fucking thing to you pathetic Suicidals. You get one question before I begin.”
He stared down at me and I scrambled to organize my thoughts into something cohesive. This was all horrifying. Why had I killed myself? I fought against the fog and panic and the mists of confusion slowly began to lift. I had just lost my job. Yes...that was the start. I squeezed my eyes shut and forced more of the memory to emerge. I had lost my job and I was about to lose the house. My wife...Tess...she found out and was going to leave me. I didn't have any way out, didn't have any options. Getting fired had come out of the blue and I didn't have much in savings. I was broke, soon to be homeless, and my wife hated me for it. There was something else...yes...that's right. She had been cheating on me. I had seen texts on her phone while she slept one night and confirmed my suspicions. My life had degraded to shit and I had run out of options. Humiliated and ashamed, I had decided death was my only option.
“Hey, fucker, do you have a question or not?” Danny said, snapping his fingers in front of my face.
I was sucked back into reality and I asked the only question that mattered.
“Is this Hell?”
Danny snorted, “That's always what you people ask.” He began to pace back and forth in front of me, “No. This is not Hell. It's not Heaven either. This is the Black Farm. And no, I didn't name it that. This is where God sends the souls who have ended their own life. Suicidals. You see, he doesn't really know what to do with you...and neither does the Devil. There are genuinely good people who kill themselves. Seems cruel to banish them to Hell for all eternity for a moment of weakness right? Personally, I think God and the Devil were just tired of arguing about it. And so, they send them here, to the Black Farm.”
“Did...did God create this place?” I asked, growing more and more confused.
Danny spit on the floor, chuckling, “Sure, at some point. But he lost control of it when he put The Pig in charge.”
“What's The Pig?” I asked, unsure I wanted to know the answer.
Danny held up a hand, annoyed, “Can I fucking finish? God created this place, eons ago, put The Pig in charge, and then forgot about it for a while. Well, when his back was turned, The Pig decided to use his new powers to try and create his own little world. This mess you see around you is the fractured remains of that experiment. The Black Farm use to be a lot nicer, but The Pig wanted things to be different. He wanted to create his own vision. These people you see, these monsters? They are The Pig's attempts at creating functioning life. Instead of mirroring God's Earth, these mutated horrible creations are full of sin and hatred. They run rampant here, unabashed. This place is chaos. The Black Farm is a circus of freaks and monsters. And it's your eternity.”
Fear boiled in my gut like thick oil. No. No this couldn't be my end. I didn't believe in stuff like this. This wasn't real! I would wake up soon and realize I was just having a nightmare! That had to be it!
Danny stood before me and lightly slapped my face, “Hey, hey! Don't go into hysterics on me. I haven't finished yet.”
I raised my teary eyes to meet his.
Danny smiled, “You can always Feed the Pig.”
My breath pushed from my lungs like burning steam, “W-what does that mean?”
Danny spread his hands, still smiling, “It's as simple as that. Feed the Pig. If you do so, there's a chance he'll send you back to your life.”
“A-and w-what happens if it doesn't?” I bumbled.
“You get sent to Hell. So flip a coin if you have one. Stay here with us or Feed the Pig. If you choose to stay, I'll let you go...I'll let you go out there,” he said, pointing towards the door, “But let me assure you...what awaits you at the end of the hallway...well...let's just say Hell isn't that much worse.
I swallowed hard, trying my best to digest everything. Why wouldn't I try Feeding the Pig? Whatever that meant. If there was even a sliver of hope, I would take it. An eternity in this place, the Black Farm, be sent to Hell, or...or Feed the Pig? I would do anything for a chance to go back. This nightmare made my problems seem nothing in comparison.
Danny raised a hand before I could speak, “I'll let you think on it a while. I'll be back later.”
“I want to Feed the Pig!” I cried, not wanting to spend another second in this awful room. I could hear a woman screaming down the hallway, her cries rising as something meaty pounded into her. My breath came in sharp pulls and my throat burned. Danny noticed the noise and grinned.
“Sounds pretty bad huh?” He said softly as the woman's voice creaked with agony. Something was still slamming into her, the sound of beaten flesh igniting my imagination with horrors.
“Please,” I gasped, breathless, “Just...just let me Feed the Pig. I don't want to stay here any longer.”
Danny turned away from me, “I'll be back later. Enjoy your time alone. Really think about your situation. Weigh your options. And remember...you put yourself here.”
And with that he was gone, leaving me in the dim room.
Tears streamed down my face.
The woman didn't stop screaming for hours.
At some point, I fell into a semi-sleep. The darkness in the room seemed to press in on me and my eyes fluttered shut. My body ached and my throat was a halo of fire. Thirst raked at my windpipe like sharp glass. My lips felt like crumpled paper. My head thundered like a drum. The room swam in and out of focus and my mind drifted towards the horrific sounds that never ended.
I was lost in a haze, unaware that something was sliding into the room until I felt a sharp prick on my big toe. I jolted out of my daze as my bare foot ignited with pain. I screamed and tried to move, but my bindings held me tight.
The room rushed back into focus and I blinked in agony as I felt blood trickle between my toes. I looked down for the source of pain and I felt a scream claw up my throat.
Staring up at me was an armless man. He slithered on the floor like a worm, his bald head scabbed and filthy. His legs were wrapped together in barbed wire, forcing him to wriggle his body to move. His eye were lidless and wide, two bloodshot white orbs that stared up at me with hungry intensity. His teeth had been removed and replaced with long screws which jutted from his bleeding gums like a broken rock formation.
Around his neck was a chain leash, which I followed across the floor to the open door. The end of the leash was held by a tall, naked man. His body was hairless and flabby, covered in similar scabs like his pet. A dirty bag was pulled over his head that hid his features except for a single red eye that peeked out at me from a crude cut in the cloth.
He stared at me and groped his engorged penis, his breath heavy and labored. As the armless man wriggled towards me again, his master started to masturbate. I screamed as the screw filled mouth bit at me again and my cries seemed to stimulate the naked man even more.
“Get off of me! Stop it!” I screamed, horrified. I tried to kick at the man, doing my best to avoid his sharp metal teeth. I brought my heel down on his head and he screamed as his face bounced off the floor.
A moan of pleasure escaped the bagged man's mouth and I turned away as a mist of black sprayed out onto the floor. There was a rattle of chains and I turned back to see the two of them leaving, the armless man dragged by his neck out the door. I looked at where the bagged man had ejaculated and saw a puddle of dead ants. I vomited onto myself, thick chunky curtains of bile and slime.
“GET ME OUT OF HERE!” I screamed, strands of puke running down my chin, “I DON'T BELONG HERE!”
I listened to the two men retreat down the hallway, the clank of chains accompanied by the sound of flesh being dragged across the concrete. I screamed again, but I knew no one was going to help me. I spit a wad of phlegm and bile onto the floor, ridding my mouth of its sourness. I forced myself to calm down. It wasn’t easy.
After some time, I heard someone else approaching. I had been in a miserable lull, my mind a blank canvas of dark despair, but the noise roused me from my trance like state. The muscles in my arms burned from being restrained for so long and I shifted them desperately, trying my best to prepare myself for whatever horror was about to walk through the door.
