I've seen that, and talking about doing something with Tommy and Wanda is nice but I'll believe it when the actual comic is wrote, drawn, published and released. Because until then all they've done is had an idea they're not going through with.
iirc the writer of the Scarlet Witch comic (and the upcoming Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver miniseries) said that he had plans for Tommy and that he sees Tommy as being very close to Wanda? But he wasn't sure if the comic was going to last long enough without getting cancelled in order to see those plans come into fruition. And we don't know what's going to happen there after Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver ends, like if that's going to be it or if SW will start up again. But there was a promise of Tommy at some point.
Not that I don't believe you, it's just I'll believe it when I see it.

Descendants
This has been in my drafts for over a month now, decided to finally polish it up and post it.
Okay so warning, this is my headcanon. It may or may not make sense but I dont care. This seems like a cool theory in my head so I'm sharing it. Also I dont know if this has been theorised before or not.
Anyway, let's begin.
Gwen, Kevin and Micheal are all descendants of the same species i.e anodites.
Because all of them deal with energy manipulation in some form or the other and all them absorb their respective energies in order to use them.
Tumblr media
Mana is all around. Anodites use this and control to do things like flying and 'cast spells'.
Anodites don't have a DNA. But Gwen is a human , who has a DNA but she can also become an anodite.
The 'spark' in my theory is something that helps control mana but also helps to form or get rid of DNA.
So a being can get rid of DNA and become an anodite or can form DNA to become human or whatever species they want, which explains how Verdona was human enough to have human kids.
This 'spark' works to manipulate DNA.
Anodites are already energy beings, they have enough of it in themselves but can also absorb from their surroundings if more is needed.
So how does this relate to osmosians?
Tumblr media
For every reaction there's an equal and opposite reaction. Or atleast something along those lines in this case.
The chances of the spark messing up the DNA is possible.
There was probably a time when an anodite and a human had a kid, a human kid. But the spark didn't exactly work properly. It messed up the DNA somehow and made that human into sort of energy-less anodite.
This person has the spark , but for some reason they are empty within.
An anodite naturally is made if energy, but in this case the person doesn't have any energy.
We know anodites absorb mana i.e the spark helps them absorb it.
Since being full of energy is the natural state, the spark works to have an 'osmosian' want to absorb energy. In fact, in order to fill the emptiness within, the spark has modified the host to be able to take up any form of energy , whether raw like electricity or stuff like wood and metal in order to return to the baseline state.
But obviously there's something wrong with the person, they are 'mutated'.
Their bodies are unable to retain the energy and hence release it fast.
So osmosians constantly take up energy to reach that baseline. But anodites have a lot of energy within themselves and manipulate a lot. That along with osmosians releasing energy , that baseline energy can never be fulfilled.
Osmosians can become other species by absorbing their energies [ I'm thinking of having another post on how they absorb actual aliens as a whole, don't know when that'll be done]
And we know Kevin 11k and Devlin can mutate on will. Again , anodites can change into other species.
Tumblr media
We know the mutation happens only after osmosians have absorbed them, which guess that's how anodites work too. They absorb that mana and can mimic that DNA.
Once they make it, they may not need to reabsorb again because the 'spark' remembers what that DNA is supposed to look like and can change when wished.
I guess this kinda reasons why people refer to osmsosians as more of mutants rather than an alien species.
They are human mutants, and this kinda explains why they are the way they are instead if accepting that a plain human DNA just underwent an abnormality to give them powers out of the blue.
They do have a planet though. Osmos V does exist but again there aren't many of them beacuse this condition isn't very common, but also enough to have a planet of them. once you have it, it can be inherited in their offspring.
Like how Devin was an osmosian and then Kevin inherited the ability, and then Devlin got it.
Tumblr media
Micheal is another mutant , however they are even rarer. They lie between the 2 extremes of the spectrum of being empty i.e osmosian and being complete i.e an anodite.
But the spark has modified to lean more towards being an anodite, which is why they can absorb energy such as mana and alike and not raw material like steel or copper.
But like osmosians, they cannot retain the energy and need a constant source.
Now how are these inherited?
Anodites are a female majority species I guess since we've never really seen any male anodites. But , in What Are Little Girls Made Of, it is implied that Verdona expected her sons to get the spark. Its also mentionedshe showed up when the kids were born.kids meaning both Ben and Gwen , or else they would've mentioend she checked up on Gwen specifically [ i could be wrong, idk]
So male anodites do exist but again it not so common.
Osmosians are more male dominated, since we've never really seen a female osmosian and tje mutation seems to have a direct inheritance pattern.
Darkstar is a bit tricky because we don't know about his family. He mentions his mom and his step dad but its never really mentioned if his parents had any powers[ I could be wrong ]
The spark can skip generations, like in the case of Gwen so it could've skipped a few in Mike's case as well.
