I'm pretty sure this might just be him being poor

I think one part Will's character that we should talk more about is that he's pretty ignorant (I can't think of a better word, sorry) on a number of topics.

"What are Mormons?"

"What is IP?"

"Do girls go to science camp?"

"No, it is sweet?" (About fireworks).

Especially when people use what he said about girls and science camp as proof that he's "misogynistic" when he's obviously not.
