Y/n was standing near the Red Bull garage when she spotted Max returning for his interviews. Without a second thought, she launched herself into his arms.

“Ahhhhh, I’m so proud of you!!! I feel like I haven’t said that enough,” she smiled as she pulled away from him. “You have, but it’s okay. I’ll never get tired of hearing you say that,” Max said as he looked at her as if her eyes held all the stars in the sky.

Max was aware that by now they would have cameras on them; the Red Bull team loved to capture any interaction between the couple. Ignoring all of that, Max pulled her close and kissed her.

For Y/n, all of this was very new; her last relationship hadn't been this public. The privacy of it all was something that was exciting at first, but after a while, it felt suffocating. When she met Max, she felt aglow like she had never felt before. It was only a matter of time before she knew that Max was the one for her.

And it wasn't easy; they were both slowly gaining more recognition, and people were ready to pick them apart. But as she watched Max celebrate his first Grand Prix win of the season in Austria, all the struggles felt worth the effort.

"I have a story to tell you regarding the last song of the night," said Y/n as the crowd erupted in cheers. She smiled brightly before continuing, "A few years ago, I did not believe in love, not in the way I do now. Have you guys ever met someone who feels so right that all you want is to be close to him forever and ever?"

"Being with them feels like breathing, like something you've done your whole life. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Lover," Y/n said as she made eye contact with Max. Slowly, the intro starts playing, but all Max could look at was Y/n, in all her element, looking back at him.

If the world were to end tomorrow, Max would have died a happy man. Lost in their little universe, the two failed to notice all the fans that captured this beautiful moment between the couple. Racing can take up a lot of Max's time, and he's not proud of the fact that a lot of times it comes at the stake of their relationship. But right here, right now, all he could focus on was Y/n.

The entire party, all Y/n could do was check her phone. She felt guilty; it was bffname's day, and it was supposed to be special, yet here she was feeling sad for herself. From the corner of her eye, bffname could see Y/n in the corner of the room, nursing her 4th drink of the night.

"You can leave, you know. I won't feel bad," said bffname. Y/n looked up from her phone immediately, as if she were caught doing something she wasn't supposed to. "No, no, it's not like that. I want to be here; it's your 23rd birthday; I wouldn't miss it for the world," said Y/n. "You know you can fool anyone you want, but you can never fool me. I know you like the back of my hand," said bffname. "If you want to go to Max, it's okay; you being able to make it was more than enough."

Y/n felt her eyes tearing up a little; even after being a horrible friend, bffname was still understanding. "I'm so sorry; I have been a shitty friend, and yet you are here checking on me rather than celebrating," Y/n said as she finally felt a few droplets stream down her face.

"See, I know that you and Max haven't been in the best place, but it's okay. I know it's scary; you have been with him for so long that even the idea of losing him is scary," bffname said as she wiped a few tears off of Y/n's face. "Just don't lose yourself while trying to save your relationship."

F1gossip: Red Bull driver Max Verstappen and singer/songwriter Y/n L/n were seen fighting outside by some of the paps. It was noticed that Verstappen had come to pick up L/n from a party (Bffname Bfflastname's birthday celebration). The two were seen arguing, and it is even believed that L/n was under the influence of alcohol. Verstappen was seen comforting L/n, but much to his attempts, L/n was not budging. Later on, Verstappen was seen shouting at L/n. It ended with Verstappen getting in the car and storming off, leaving a teary-eyed L/n behind. It is believed that the couple might have called it quits after dating for 2 years. This news has not been confirmed by either Verstappen or L/n. F1gossip: 6 months after their breakup, Max Verstappen and Y/n L/n were spotted together in Miami. The two seemed to be having a good time at the beach under the warm Miami sun. A close source to Verstappen reveals that the two have been seeing each other for a few months now. This is the first time the pair were spotted together after their public breakup. Both Verstappen and L/n have been doing well in their career paths ever since their breakup. Verstappen has won 2 Grand Prix so far and has seen a massive improvement in this performance as compared to last year, whereas L/n has recently released her 3rd studio album, with all the songs making it into the Billboard Hot 100. Only time will tell whether the two are in it for the long run or whether they call it quits again.

Y/n smiled as she put her phone down and looked back at Max. Both of them had decided to take a quick trip to Miami. "Do you think we'll have kids?" Max asked so nonchalantly that Y/n had to ask again to make sure she heard him right, "What?" "Do you think we'll have kids later on in life?" Max repeated. "I think I would like to have a girl," Max continued as he looked out at the sea. Amused, Y/n asked, "Oh, really? and why is that?" "I feel like a girl is easy to manage; you know, there are less chances that she'll end up like me," Max said before adding, "Plus, she'll look like you, so you know she is gonna have everyone wrapped around her little finger."

Max looked back at Y/n with a cheeky smile to see her already looking back at him with a look that conveyed nothing but pure love. "I think you'd be a great dad; even if we have a son, and if he becomes even half the man you are, then we did a great job raising him," Y/n said as she ran her hands through Max's hair. "I've not had the best example growing up; I mean, I know my dad wasn't the best, but had he not made all the sacrifices he did back then, I would not have been here. 'Max Verstappen, Star of Red Bull' I would have been a loser," Max said as he closed his eyes, soaking in his surroundings. It felt nice, peaceful even, being away from everything.

"A loser who I'd still love," Y/n said as she pulled Max closer. "Even if you do not have anything with you, you will always have me," she added. "Oh, don't you worry about that; I plan on keeping you by my side forever," Max said. "You just wait till I put a ring on that finger; after that, you can't leave me, even if you wanted to," he added. "I wouldn't dream of it," Y/n said before getting up and running towards the water. Their laughter filled the air as Max got up and chased after her, pulling her into the water with him.

Max should be happy; he should feel all the joy in the world; he finished 3rd in the standings after all, yet the smile did not reach his eyes. He looked around the party thrown to celebrate his and the team's victory and saw Y/n talking to one of the engineers. Max couldn't help but let the bittersweet thought take over his mind. He hated himself for thinking these things, but ever since he got back with Y/n, his season hasn't been goin- "She seems nice, Y/n, I mean," breaking his chain of thoughts, Max looked at his father. "Huh, oh ya," said Max as he took a sip of his drink.

"But she's not right for you; before you got back with her, everything was going in your favor, and look at you now; you're 3rd on the list. You can do better, Max," said Jos as he went to talk to other people at the party. Max hated his father for being critical about his relationship, but he hated himself more because he himself had thought about this.

So one cancelled date becomes two, and before Max knew it, he was constantly blowing off Y/n. In fact, if he comes to think of it, this is probably the first time the two have been out together in a month. So lost in his thought, Max did not notice a sad Y/n slipping from the party.

One of the workers at the party informed us that the two did not spend much time together. Verstappen and L/n, who have not been spotted out in public in a month, were seen entering the party together a few hours ago, and that was the last of it. We got information from a close source to the couple that things have been rocky between the two. According to the source, Verstappen considers his relationship with L/n a distraction, which led to him not performing to the best of his abilities after the summer break. Verstappen has only won one Grand Prix ever since L/n confirmed that the two were back together via an Instagram Story. It seems like it is finally time to bury the hatchet in the Verstappen-L/n love story.

At this point, Y/n can probably narrate it in her sleep: "I promise I'll change," "We are meant to be," "You're the love of my life; I can't lose you." Yet she believed him every single time. How could she not? They have been through so much together. How could she let go of all this history because things have been rocky between them?

Lost in her trail of thoughts, Y/n did not realize that she had reached the venue. It was when she felt her side of the door open that she looked up to find a dazzling Max looking back at her. He was glowing; having just won the 70th anniversary GP, Max looked like he would burst from happiness. Y/n couldn't help but match his smile.

They both slowly made their way through the red carpet, posing for pictures. As they reached the entrance, she felt Max fidgeting. "What's wrong?" she asked as she reached for his hand. Max laced his finger with her before saying, "Nothing; it's just that this is my first win of the season. I thought that this year would have been my year, but would you look at how it all turned out to be?" Y/n nodded at Max to continue, "I never thought I would spend so much time at home because of the pandemic, and I never thought that all that time alone would make me realize how much I have missed you," Max said before looking at Y/n. "Every second without you feels like I'm suffocating; you're like a breath of fresh air. Every time I look at you, I feel like all the stars in the sky are nothing compared to you," said Max as he caressed Y/n's cheek.

Y/n didn't know how to describe this feeling. Standing in front of her was a boy she had known for a long time, a boy who always wanted to prove his worth to his father, a boy who sacrificed so much to achieve his dreams, a boy who was simply madly in love with her.

F1: Max Verstappen out of the Sakhir Grand Prix on lap 1. Trying to avoid Sergio Perez, who was hit by Charles Leclerc at turn 4, Verstappen ended up on the gravel, crashing into the tire barrier. This is the 4th time this season Verstappen has not been able to finish a race. With one race left, Verstappen's chances of winning the world championship seem a little out of reach at the moment. We can only hope for the best for the Dutchman.

It is believed that this park was one that Verstappen and L/n used to visit a lot with Verstappen's cats. Many bystanders have said that the singer looked lost in her thoughts as she continued sipping her drink. It seems that everyone had believed the two would be back together by the end of the season when pictures of Verstappen with a mysterious woman surfaced, but much to everyone's surprise, the woman in the pictures is now believed to be Piquet. Yourname: I had taken some time off from everything - my music, my fans, my friends, even my family. I was at a place where I felt something I had never felt before. People tell you that there will come a time in everyone's life where you will feel absolutely lost, like you don't know what to do with your life now, and it is very easy to say that with time you'll get through it and find your way again. What everyone fails to mention is how lonely this time will feel. You have people who love you and want the best for you, yet you can't seem to get out of this hole you have dug up for yourself. Taking a break and going back to where I started my journey made me realize why I do what I do. I have never needed songwriting more than I did during this period of time. As I write this, I finally realize that this chapter of my life is over. I have no wounds that I need to heal, no bridges that I want to burn. As of today, I set this song free. It was mine once, and it's yours now. loml out at midnight.

⚜️❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🩷💖💝⚜️ It has been a few days since Bowser, Junior, and the Koopalings, Kamek Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, and King Marcos have their adventure and a quest to find Sheila and rescue her from Fawful and Midbus. For now in the late afternoon until an early sunset, they were both still riding Bowser’s airship to find Fawful’s airship, and all of a sudden, Kamek caught sight of it. Fawful’s airship was parked in the middle of the sky.

“I found it, sire!” he called,

“Lord Fawful’s airship!”

Bowser ran over and peered close, noticing the beautiful party decorations and confettis shooting high in the sky from Fawful’s airship.

 “Fawful must’ve prepared the wedding,” he said in disbelief.

“Bowser, what are we gonna do?” Marcos asked,

“I can’t let those scoundrels take my daughter away!”

“Yoshi! Yoshi! Yoshi!” Yoshi added in agreement with a frown.

“He says that we won’t let that happen to our friend,” Daisy says,

“She doesn’t deserve numskulls like that little green alien and that big fat pig!”

Suddenly, she froze for a moment and asked,

“Those creatures are Fawful and Midbus, right?”

“That’s right,” Bowser replied,

“I saw what they look like since Mario, Luigi, Peach, and the others are in my body.”

“Sounds like Fawful is trying to take control of Sheila’s life!” Peach says in less worry,

“We have to do something!”

Junior and the Koopalings were both sad and concerned at the same time about what’s happening with Sheila.

“How are we gonna put an end to their shenanigans, Papa?” asked Junior.

Bowser menacingly smirked and said,

“I’ll tell you, Junior: we’re gonna crash this wedding.”

Junior and the Koopalings all cheered menacingly as Mario and their friends nodded and grinned in agreement. Marcos smiles in agreement.

“But-a wait!” Mario chimed in,

“How-a do we get to-a Fawful’s airship if the party was-a planned already-a?”

Luigi agreed in a slight worry,

“And who’s-a gonna come and-a help us do-a so without-a being caught?”

Bowser replies,

“I’ll create a diversion with my kids to get the guards leave their station at the airship. You two with Yoshi will distract him. Kamek, you have Princess Peach, Daisy, and Marcos keep autopilot on in my airship and guard on it. And Junior, you and the Koopalings will follow once I take the lead to stop this wedding. Now does everyone know what to do?”

Everyone nodded and replied in unison,

“Yes, Bowser!”

“Well what are you waiting for? Let’s get this over with!” Bowser added.

As everyone continued to fly Bowser’s airship until they get close to Fawful’s airship, Marcos spoke quietly to himself,

“My daughter, we’re coming for you. Please be okay, Sheila.”

Bowser keeps his eyes at Fawful’s airship and he caught sight of the guard.

“Mario! Luigi! There’s one! Quick, let’s pick up the pace!”

Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi both nod and ran over to Bowser. Kamek has Junior and the Koopalings set up a bridge and did so. As the bridge lowered down, it landed on the ground of Fawful’s parked airship in middle of the sky. Fawful’s guard caught sight of Bowser and his gang and panicked, running to get Fawful, but he was stranded by the Mario Bros. and their allies. Junior— with his paintbrush ready— and the Koopalings— with their wands ready— pinned down the guard angrily. Kamek appeared out of nowhere and got his wand ready to electrocute the guard who yelped and saw Bowser walking over those him angrily.

“Alright, you little imbecile, start talking!” Bowser growled,

“Where are Fawful and Midbus keeping Sheila? Unless you wanna be my prisoner.”

“AH! Okay, okay! I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” cried the guard,

“Fawful has set up a wedding for Midbus and Sheila’s just about to be done preparing by now.”

Bowser yelled,

“You better be telling the truth! If we have to find out if she’s there or not, I’ll burn you alive!”

He was so angry Bowser nearly threatened to breath out fire at guard’s face, but his allies calmed him down before things escalate. The guard panicked once again,

“Please, PLEASE! Have mercy! I promise I’m telling you the truth. She REALLY is at the wedding prepared. Just please don’t hurt me!”

Bowser snarled ferociously and continuously but then stopped while glaring his eyes at the guard. Junior and the Koopalings gave the guard space as Marcos stepped up to him with a frown.

“Prove it,” he scolded angrily,

“Take my son-in-law and those mustachioed humans there and we’ll believe you.”

The guard nodded with a gulp and responded,

“Okay.”

He started doing his thing with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Bowser, and his gang following— but also Bowser watching him.

Marcos, Peach, Daisy, and Kamek both watched in hope.

Meanwhile…

Sheila was in her black wedding dress, all prepared. She was getting her hair done as one of Fawful’s loyal henchmen walked over with a bouquet of flowers.

“Here you go, ma’am,” he said kindly.

Sheila didn’t respond as she slowly took the bouquet and remained silent. All of a sudden, the doors opened and Sheila took a deep breath. She started walking to the aisle with Fawful’s citizens watching her with smiles on their faces. Fawful was dressed up as a wedding minister, but still in his red cape. He was smiling and chuckling,

“Ooh, here comes the chortles!”

Midbus smiles as he was in his groom’s outfit. Sheila walked over and faced Midbus hesitantly.

Fawful announces,

“Alright, citizens! Let the wedding begin!”

The citizens all cheered wildly in response and they started taking their seats.

Fawful opens up the book and announces,

“We are all gathered here on this beautiful day to announce the lovely marriage of my loyal assistant Midbus and the lovely former Spirit Animal Princess Sheila who is now queen of the koopas, until not anymore.”

He chuckles a little bit and adds on,

“Also a beautiful day of where I’m having so much chortles! Such easiness!”

The citizens laughed a little bit as everything settled down. Fawful clears his throat and continues on,

“Now before we get to the questions I ask them, does anyone have any objections that they should not be married to each other?”

His citizens and subjects remained silent in answer, showing no signs of objection.

“Alright then!” said Fawful and turns to Midbus, questioning,

“Midbus, would you like to take Sheila to be your wedded wife?”

Midbus looks at Sheila who stared hesitantly and worriedly. He smiles even brightly and responds,

“Yes, I do.”

Fawful grins and moves onto Sheila, asking,

“And Sheila, would you like to take Midbus to be your wedded husband?”

Sheila didn’t answer as she dropped down her ears. She slightly nods, but not too much. Fawful stares in confusion, but smiles back and says quietly,

“Well, let’s take it as a yes.”

Then, he announces once again,

“I now pronounce you, husband and wife! You may kiss the Queen!”

Midbus brightens up with joy and asked Sheila,

“Our lovely moment has come! Isn’t that wonderful?”

As he managed to take her paws, Sheila pushed him back and cried out angrily,

“Shut it, you pig monster! I am not in a mood for you.”

She crossed her arms and turned her back on Midbus who stared in confusion. Fawful and the citizens are in confusion. He frowned a bit and said,

“And you’re supposed to be with me!”

Sheila didn’t respond as she remained silent with anger. Midbus then wrapped his arms on her shoulders and said,

“But in fact…”

Midbus leaned in and said,

“Just come here and kiss me.”

Midbus puckered his lips as Sheila bit her lip, refusing to kiss him. All of a sudden, a roar was heard outside. Eventually a male voice screamed,

“I OBJECT!”

After that yell, a muffled sound of banging was also heard. The citizens turned to the back as Sheila and Midbus both stared at the same direction.

Fawful stared in confusion and asked,

“What is that?”

Suddenly, an explosion had occurred, breaking open the doors.

BAM!

A large fire was burning from the entrance. Everyone cried out in fear at the fire which started dying down. Out came of the burning fog was a shadowed figure which now came out. The citizens gasped in disbelief at who it was. It was Bowser! His eyes were glowing pure red in anger as flames were burning from the insides of his mouth.

“FAWFUL!” Bowser shouted aggressively,

“BACK AWAY FROM MY QUEEN!”

With a gasp of delight, Sheila cried in joy,

“Bowser!”

“YOU? YOU AGAIN?!” yelled Midbus angrily,

“YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO SUFFER AND CRY!”

Bowser growled and scolded,

“I’ve shed enough suffering, Midbus. Now is the time to hand back what belongs to me.”

Fawful chuckles menacingly and says,

“Oh, good Lord Bowser! Am I surprised to see you again? You’re still too late! The wedding’s already started!”

“NOT when I have someone who will help me.”

Junior and the Koopalings step out of the fiery fog and got their weapons ready. 

“Super Mario Bros.!” random Italian voices can be heard.

Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi jumped next to Bowser.

“Let’s-a-go!” Mario said.

“Okie dokie!” Luigi added.

Midbus menacingly smirks at Mario and Luigi.

“Muh, muh, muh!” he laughs,

“Red and green here with that little lizard?”

Yoshi frowned and hissed for being called that. Junior and the Koopalings caught sight of Sheila and cried in relief,

“Mom!”

Sheila grins in relief.

“And for the objection I have on why Sheila and Midbus should NOT be married…” Bowser continued on angrily at Fawful and Midbus,

“… My queen will NEVER be around frauds like you.”

Fawful and Midbus stared in confusion at that objection Bowser made. The Koopa king then yelled to his gang,

“Come on! WRECK THIS WEDDING INTO PIECES!”

His gang nodded and they and Bowser altogether began destroying the wedding party as all the citizens cried and ran away from the sight. Midbus and Fawful were in shock and disbelief at the same time. Fawful cried,

“No! NO! My subjects! You can’t leave this special wedding!”

He ran over to get his citizens, back, but it was no use. He looked at the guard and frowned. The guard gulped and said,

“Sorry, Lord Fawful, they demanded me to take them to Sheila.”

Midbus shouted,

“You MORON!”

“You NAUGHTY!” cried Fawful angrily,

“I’ve now lost my chortles!” 

As the guard managed to explain, he yelped at Bowser’s firebreath and ran away once again. Fawful stared and frowned. He shouted to Midbus,

“COME! MIDBUS! Do the thing!”

Midbus quickly ran over and grabbed Sheila, having her face him. 

“No!” yelled Bowser as he tried to get Sheila away, but Midbus kicked him on the stomach. 

“PAPA!” shouted Junior as he rushed over to Bowser’s side. They, Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the Koopalings are in shock as they saw Midbus getting a hold to Sheila. Sheila shook herself together, looked at Bowser, gasped in shock, and then looked at Midbus in confusion,

“What are you even doing this time?”

“This is our wedding,” Midbus said with a small hurriedly smile.

Sheila snarled and blurted out,

“I’ll never marry you!”

Then, she punched Midbus on the face, causing him to yell in pain and get knocked out by being hit onto a pole, slipping to the ground. Fawful gasped at that sight and he hurriedly grabbed Midbus.

“I’m out! I’M OUT!!!” Fawful cried as he managed to have himself and Midbus run away quickly.

Then, they both were out of sight and gone.

What now remains on the empty space of the crashed wedding in the airship was Sheila herself. 

Bowser ran over as Sheila did so. They hugged each other.

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Junior, and the Koopalings both smiled in relief.

As the hug broke, Sheila said with a smile,

“Thank you, my king! You saved me!”

Bowser smiled and replied,

“I won’t let anything happen to you, my dear Queen. Let’s get you out of here.”

Then, Bowser led Sheila out of the party as Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi followed with Junior and the Koopalings beside them. However, Kamek, Peach, Daisy, and Marcos came over and were both happy that Sheila was safe.

You’ve finally saved her!” Marcos said in relief,

“I’m so proud!”

Kamek grinned and said,

“Let’s get the junk out of there before things get worse.”

Everyone nodded and went back to Bowser’s airship as they removed the bridge, leaving Fawful’s airship to sink down in the sky. An explosion was heard from below after Fawful’s airship fell and crashed down.

Time went by as the sun started setting. Bowser’s airship was being driven its way to the Mushroom Kingdom.

Then, as Bowser managed to make a talk with Sheila, he noticed something weird about her. He heard her voice, but it sounds robotic.

“T—thank y—you for—for s—saving me—me!” Sheila’s voice robotically says. 

Bowser gasped. Kamek turned, stopped, turned on autopilot of the airship, walked over to Bowser, and asked, 

“What is it?”

He noticed Sheila robotically speaking and her fur body was now electronically moving. Everyone saw Sheila’s robotic form now breaking down and they all cried out in shock. Bowser threw her from the airship after a yelp.

“That’s not her!” he cried in shock.

“I don’t get it…” said Marcos in disbelief,

“If that’s not the real Sheila, then where is she?!”

All of a sudden, a laugh was heard from nowhere. Peach looked around, gasped, and cried,

“Look!”

Everyone turned to where Peach saw and there were Fawful— in his normal outfit— standing on the flying UFO. A figure fell from nowhere above and landed on the airship plank with a BAM!

Midbus had rose while standing up. He had gotten Sheila- now in her normal Koopa Queen outfit— who was in Midbus’s arms. Not only that, it was the real Sheila! She was muffling from the bandanna scarf that covered her mouth tightly.

“I have chortles!” Fawful laughs wickedly,

“It is I who secretly made a robotic form out of her to have you assume that she was real right after you crashed my wedding!”

“WHAT?!” Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Marcos, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings shouted in disbelief.

Bowser gasped in shock. Midbus pulled down the bandanna from Sheila’s mouth to let her speak out. Sheila raised her paw and screamed,

“BOWSER!!!”

Midbus then covered Sheila’s mouth soon after, causing her to muffle again but stay silent then.

“Muh, muh, muh!” he laughed evilly at Bowser,

“You are late. Too late! That’s for ruining my wedding and making me suffer!”

Marcos gasped and was in worry for his daughter.

“SHEILA!” he screamed and ran to get her, but Midbus smacked him with his arm.

Marcos howled in pain and hurled to the ground. Daisy shouted,

“Marcos!”

She ran over and had Peach help him get back on his feet. Sheila muffled in tears at her father, but Midbus was in a knick of time of shutting her up.

Fawful turned to Marcos and grinned menacingly,

“Oh wasn’t that interesting?” he hissed,

“I can take you on if you like, just like Midbus did.”

Marcos shook his head in disbelief. Fawful continued on,

“This isn’t over yet, Bowser! We will meet in the final showdown as my ultimate revenge, some time!”

With a nod, Midbus said to Bowser with a sneer,

“And there’s one true thing you ever said to those red and green plumbers about Princess Peach.”

Mario and Luigi raised their brows in confusion, and so did Peach. Bowser raised a brow in disbelief as Midbus approached slowly and stated,

“The princess is in another castle!” 

“What?!” Bowser cried in shock.

Midbus gave space for Fawful who approached. As Fawful took out a gun, he shot the bullet at the plank, causing a small slight explosion, blowing everyone away, but they still remain on the airship. Bowser and his gang both looked up to see Midbus and Fawful laughing evilly. As Midbus ran with Sheila in his arms, he jumped out of the airship with Fawful managing to catch him while standing on his flying vehicle.

“No, no, no, no, no, no!” Bowser shouted as he ran to the fence of the airship, reaching his arm out in disbelief.

“Sheila!” Peach cried out in shock.

“Oh, no!” Mario said in panic.

Luigi panicked in agreement as he reached his arm, too.

Everyone else went to the fence of the airship and saw Fawful flying away with Midbus holding onto its handle and also getting a hold of Sheila. They both have disappeared into the sky; Fawful and Midbus have taken Sheila captive once again. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Marcos, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both sadly lowered their heads in shame.

“Mamma Mia,” said Mario sadly and sighed.

“We’ve-a lost-a them…” Luigi added sadly.

Marcos stared, angrily huffed and puffed, and yelled in anger. He ran and slammed the pole of the airship, cursing out words. Kamek sadly ran and managed to comfort him.

“Your Highness…” he pleaded gently,

“Please calm down… we’ll get her back once again.”

As the wolf king calmed down, he let out a small sob.

“I… I don’t know what to say,” whispered Marcos,

“I can’t lose my daughter like I lost Zoey, my beloved wife of a queen. She passed away when our daughter was only 4 years old…”

He sniffled. Kamek sadly reassured him. Everyone else came over and hugged Marcos. He now felt better and said,

“Thank you…”

Bowser, on the other hand, was in angry tears. Junior laid a hand on his father and said,

“Don’t worry, Papa. We’ll get Mama back. We have to stay together.”

Bowser wheeled at Junior and cried out angrily,

“Junior! You saw what that little pipsqueak alien and that fat hog did! They’ve got Sheila once again! I WON’T LET THEM HURT HER!”

Startled by his voice, Junior gasps a little bit, and he starts to cry. Bowser changed his expression and tampered his words out gently,

“No, no, Junior! D— don’t cry… I didn’t mean to shout at you… it’s just—”

As Junior kept crying, the Koopalings went over and comforted him. Ludwig looked up at his adoptive father and said,

“Dad, Lord Junior was just trying to help! Like he said, we’ll find Mom. Our chance is to stay together.”

“Ludwig’s right, Dad. We’ll find her. We promise!” Larry added in agreement.

Iggy chimed in,

“Dad, there’s need to be upset, we’ll find our mother. We can’t lose hope yet. It can still be there.”

Bowser saw Junior being comforted by Ludwig, he started shedding tears and was on the verge of weeping.

“I… I’m sorry, Junior and everyone,” Bowser whispered in tears,

“I didn’t mean to sound so rude to you. Can you forgive me?”

Junior wiped his tears away and looked at his father giving a sad tearful look. He comforted him.

“It’s okay, Papa. I forgive you!” Junior replied with a smile.

Bowser smiled and hugged Junior, much to their awe.

Wendy walked over and said to Bowser,

“It’s okay, Dad. We’ll do whatever it takes to help you and get our Mother back in our family.”

“And if those two idiots show up, we’ll kick their butts!” added Roy, getting his fists ready.

“Yeah!” Lemmy and Morton said in agreement.

Mario and Luigi walked over and comforted Bowser.

“Don’t-a worry, Bowser. We’ll get-a Sheila back for you and your family,” Mario said.

“You heard-a big bro,” Luigi agreed,

“We won’t-a let Sheila suffer like the times-a Peach did-a when you used to-a kidnap her sometimes.”

Bowser and Peach blushed at that compliment. Peach smiles then and walks over to Bowser.

“You hear my great friends, Bowser. We can’t give up hope yet, and there’s still a chance to save Sheila.”

“Yeah!” added Daisy,

“You have your gang and us as your trusted allies.”

Yoshi jumped up and down in agreement, saying,

“Yoshi! Yoshi! Yoshi!”

Marcos and Kamek came over and nodded in agreement, smiling at Bowser. Marcos said,

“Dear son-in-law Bowser. I know how much you cared about my daughter. We need to come up with a plan first to save her again. We promise that things won’t get screwed up during our rescue mission.”

The Koopa king stared and smiled in tears. He spoke up,

“Thank you very much, guys. You’re all the best. I’m having prayers that Sheila will be okay when rescued.”

“You do, sire,” said Kamek,

“She deserves you more than Midbus.”

Then, everyone hugged Bowser with comfort and support. Seconds later, Bowser started driving the airship and announced to his gang,

“Okay, everyone! To Fawful’s castle!”

Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Daisy, Marcos, Kamek, Junior, and the Koopalings both cheered as they faced to where Bowser was facing while driving his airship. They all began discussing about the new plan to save Sheila again from Fawful and Midbus. Bowser made a warp drive on his airship and it dashed through the sky, making its way to Fawful’s castle… to meet again for an ultimate showdown of battle.

Of course, Anon! This is such a cathartic ask. You have no idea how much we wish Mari and Hero would have had the opportunity to grow old together and get married in the future. 💙💜😭 But alas, we can only have this in dreams and Mari Lives AUs now (and in headcanons, of course).

Needless to say, we were very excited for this ask, especially since we haven't written anything concrete about a HeroMari proposal before (Sprinkles does have a doodle of Mari proposing to Hero as part of a HeroMari sketch dump though). It was lots of fun to think of the proposal from Hero's side, so thank you so much this ask and for playing our "Hearts for Hero" Headcanons Game!

💘💖 --HeroMari Proposal (By Hero) in a Mari Lives AU Headcanon

Hero has wanted to marry Mari for pretty much his entire life, so he puts a lot of thought and effort into planning the perfect proposal for her when they are old enough and ready to get married. Hero knows Mari is a romantic at heart, so it's very important to him to make sure his proposal is very special for her. After trying to decide between several different ideas, Hero eventually chooses to plan an elaborate scavenger hunt for Mari throughout Faraway Town with clues leading to different locations that are important to them and their relationship. He also makes sure to include their friends and family to help pass out the clues, knowing that Mari would want her loved ones nearby on such an important day.

Though Hero tries his best to surprise Mari, she catches on pretty quickly that Hero is waiting for her at the end of the scavenger hunt with a ring, and, sure enough, the final clue leads to their secret hangout spot in Faraway Park where Hero is waiting on a picnic blanket with a meal of all of Mari's favorite foods that he cooked himself. Mari starts tearing up when Hero gets down on one knee which makes Hero start to cry happy tears himself as he recites the little speech he prepared (and practiced at length) about how much he loves her and how much he wants them to spend the rest of their lives together. When Mari accepts his proposal, their family and friends who are hiding in the bushes all cheer, and Mari and Hero kiss.

Bonus: Basil gets photographs of the whole thing, and he makes a scrapbook out of them and other photos of Hero and Mari through the years which he gives to them as a wedding present when they get married the following year.

And they all live a very well deserved happily ever after... 💙💜

Kai & Sei Friendship/Family Headcanons

💙-- Hurt/Comfort

During his childhood, Kai once contracted a terrible flu that lasted nearly two weeks. In general, he and Sei were essentially "on their own" when it came to sickness and injuries as children since Gashu believed that they should be strong enough to get over whatever it was on their own and if they weren't, then it was probably for the best that they just succumb to their wounds or illness. Just luckily neither of them were particularly sickly (usually), but they were often injured as part of their training and mostly learned how to care for and dress wounds for themselves. In this case, however, Kai was the sickest he had probably ever been, but as he wasn't expecting any sort of help, it was a complete shock to him that Sei jumped in to take care of him almost immediately.

In Sei's mind, Kai was such an airhead that he couldn't take care of himself on a good day--there was no way he could take care of himself while he was sick, so even though he really didn't know what he was doing he tried his best to play caregiver--mainly just kept his brother warm, making sure he had plenty of water, trying to keep his fever down with cold compresses, and preparing him meals of instant noodles (the only thing he really knew how to make) while worrying far more than he would ever admit. Sei told Kai not to make a big deal out of it--insisting that he was only helping to patch him up so he could beat him at sparring practice later, but Kai, who had never actually been taken care of before, was truly touched by his brother's actions and tried his best to repay the favor going forward.

(Related) Bonus HC [though this one is more angsty]: The first meals that Kai ever learned how to cook were Sei's favorite foods which Kai learned to make for his brother when he was injured (or on the rare occasions that he was sick). Gashu allowed the hobby because he thought it may prove useful one day (And it eventually did when Kai's cover became 'homemaker' and housekeeper for the Chidouins). Sei was always a bit jealous of Kai's cooking skills, especially since when he was recovering, he got these gourmet meals from his brother, but when Kai was recovering, all he got was instant noodles (since Sei really couldn't cook to save his life). Kai insisted he loved the instant noodles, however. (Of course what he really loved was the fact that his brother had taken the time to make them and take care of him).

When he lost Sei, Kai couldn't bring himself to make his favorite foods for a long time, but he spent many a night for those first couple of months without him crying into a cup of instant noodles.

💛-- Friendship

(A/N: I really loved your prompt! Thank you for that. My sister and I were actually just discussing this very topic a couple of days ago, so I'm more than happy to run with it for you! Also 100% agree with your interpretation of Sei as a protective brother!)

Sei is much more jaded and mistrustful than Kai--believing that other people are always playing some sort of angle and/or only looking out for themselves whereas Kai wants to believe in the best in others and is a truly generous person who will genuinely put other people's wants over his own without expecting anything in return. As this is a foreign concept to Sei, it takes him a long time to realize that Kai genuinely cares about him in altruistic way without any strings attached. Sei who has never had such a relationship before recognizes what a gift and a privilege it is to be loved unconditionally, and as such, his bond with Kai quickly becomes one of the most important things in the world to him.

One of Sei's greatest worries as far as his brother is concerned is that someone will twist or trample on what he considers his brother's greatest strengths and take advantage of Kai's selflessness and generosity. For this reason, Sei can be very protective of Kai. While he admires Kai's kindness and good-hearted nature, he thinks it can make his brother a bit airheaded at times and can cause him to put his guard down around other people when he shouldn't--ultimately, leaving him vulnerable to being taken advantage of. Since Kai is kind of aloof, he can seem to be unapproachable to people who don't know him well, and since he is naturally quiet and not one to take much initiative in social situations, it can be difficult for him to make friends. This is, truthfully, a bit of a relief to Sei since it protects Kai from falling in with a more manipulative group who might try to take advantage of him. That said, Sei would be genuinely sad to learn his brother was lonely and wanted friends when/if he didn't have them.

If Kai ever made some good friends, it would take Sei a very long time to warm up to them. They would likely be incredibly confused upon meeting Sei for the first time since Kai always speaks so warmly about his brother and describes what a caring person he is--failing to mention the fact that his brother is a tsundere so that caring nature is hidden under a frosty exterior of bluntness, callousness, and snark.

Sei would have absolutely no problem telling Kai's friends exactly what he thought of them and would likely tell Kai (on multiple occasions) that he can do better. Ultimately, however, Sei wants good things for Kai. As soon as Kai's friends prove that they care about him just as much as Sei does and really do have his best interests at heart, they will likely become endeared to Sei forever, and Sei will feel very grateful and indebted to them for looking out for his brother.

Kai on the other hand would immediately love any friend that Sei made. In fact, he would probably consider them Sei's friends even before Sei would acknowledge them as such--saying things like "It's so nice to meet your friends, Sei!" while Sei (the indignant little tsun) huffily insists, "They're not my friends. They're just some people I know." Kai would be absolutely thrilled to know that Sei had friends (especially since Sei is pretty vocal about his opinion that "friendship is overrated"), and he would try to include them in all of their activities and basically bring them into the family. Sei would very quickly get huffy and annoyed with Kai constantly insisting "Why don't you invite your friend(s), Sei?", muttering under his breath or bitterly thinking to himself "I wish I had never told you I had friends" at least once or twice a week.

Unlike with Kai's friends meeting Sei and being thoroughly surprised, Sei's friends meeting Kai is exactly what they expected--well once they get past that initial awkwardness and aloofness from Kai being naturally shy and quiet person, that is. It is a very short-lived period of time, however, since Kai really tries to push himself to be more outgoing when meeting the friends of his brother. He likes them very much for taking such good care of Sei and befriending him, so he tries to be more openly warm and friendly towards them. He also always treats them very formally (similar to how he addresses Sara as "Sara-san" or "Miss Sara" in the game), and he actually, genuinely thanks them all for being Sei's friend (which embarrasses his brother to the point that his ears turn pink. Poor Sei).

That Leonardo wasn't an early riser was known. Sebastian usually didn't bother preparing breakfast for him, knowing that the pureblood wasn't to rise from his next until noon, if he even thought of food to begin with when waking up, for he didn't need it, and thus was content with working through his days on little less.

His cara was different, however. You rose early, liking to spend the day with the rest of the residents at the dining table as you banter away in the morning. Leonardo imagined you to do this with the brightest smile and the greatest zeal, picking out your favourite breakfast items that Sebastian has considerately prepared for you. After all, you were the loveliest creature in the world in his opinion. A reason why he didn't feel the need to crawl out in the mornings to look after you. It was good to give you the time with your friends before you dedicated it all to him.

The one time Leonardo did rise early was a surprise for all, but above all for himself, when he walked into the dining room to find you pulling Theo at his scruff.

"Fite me, coward!" you had pitched at the man, and Leonardo wondered what the Dutch had done to deserve his face nearly shoved into the bowl of syrup with pieces of pancakes afloat.

"Think you can steal my pancake!" you had exclaimed, immediately explaining what had happened for this scene to unfold as Theo could barely hold down a grin, whilst Vincent sat next to him with an apologetic smile and frangic gestures.

"Theo didn't mean to—"

"Oh, no, I meant it," the younger brother cut off his older brother, a shit eating grin on his face challenging you even more, while your coffee stood cold to the side.

Leonardo had never seen you in such a manic state, surprising himself as he carefully noted to never steal your breakfast for his own sake.

"Now what will you d—" Theo, never one to stop where he should, was quickly muffled by the plate of syrup and pancake bits that you had brought up to his face instead, rubbing the plate in with an extra twist before releasing everything at once and stepping away.

"Charge, of course, I'm not a coward!" Your triumphant claim had sounded and Leonardo couldn't believe the savageness he saw in you, whom he had known until now as gentle and kind and warm.

It amused him, a bit, as much as it bothered him.

"How about–"

Before you could continue your revenge on the art dealer and his disgraced pancakes Leonardo had lifted you up, slinging up in his arms with a charming 'good morning' before winking at the rest.

"I'm taking this one out, ye?" he announced, even if it was a bit needless, carrying you away in his arms towards the front entrance of the mansion where he exited further down the path into the forest.

"Leo?" he heard you plead, now suddenly demure, and Leonardo wondered if you felt shy. A thought that made him chuckle again when he marched further down the forest, towards the lake nearby.

"Today's date; breakfast outside," he announced when he finally paused, allowing you down before he shrugged off his coat and spread it out on the soil. With another gesture the man had pulled you into his lap, arms locked around you before realising that he had forgotten the most important part for breakfast; food.

A fact that didn't escale you, face flush and a pout deeply set on your face while you hit him in the chest.

"We could have gone into town instead," you huff, to which the male can't help himself but to flick your nose, affection blooming over in his expression before he holds your cheek in a tender hold.

"Could, but I didn't want to show off your wild ways," Leonardo admits, finally naming what he had been feeling earlier in the dining room, even if it is only mentally. Tightening his hold as your eyes widen, unsure on how to answer, Leonardo presses his lips against your cheekbones, firmly, as if wanting you to remember that kiss amongst the hundreds he has already given you.

"Wish you would get this wild with me,” he whispers, his tone suggestive. It earns him another thwack on his chest, the blush across your face deepening which he finds even more adorable than your tiny shrieks of thinly veiled threats and expression of pure feral aggression muttered into his chest.

“Alright, alright,” he laughs, a deep rumble escaping him while you are trying to wrestle yourself free out of his hold, more threats following that makes it hard for Leonardo to control his voice, “let’s go get you some food, alright?” Leonardo casually proposes, ignoring whatever protests you had while he carried you off once more.

So full disclosure I haven't followed you for long, but based off your description, honestly, I ship you with Jason. I think he'd be a good match for your extrovertedness as well as all of your energy. He'd need a person who can keep up with him and he'd like someone he can always be doing stuff with, ya know? I'll try to make it short but I warn you now, I'm wordy lol I'm a woman who is bisexual but does have a strong preference for men. I'm an introvert, I like being around my loved ones but I do need space to myself sometimes and being around new people always takes a lot out of me. That's one of the reasons that I tend to hold people at arms length until I get to know them, but once I do I'm a very loyal and dedicated friend (and that goes same when you're my s/o). I think my sense of humor is one of my best qualities, I love making people laugh and Will honestly do some silly stupid shit to make you smile 😂 also, I think a reason I tend to be wordy is that I'm a writer! That's what I'm slowly turning into a career, I love crafting stories and entertaining people with them and I want to make my living off of what I love. The first person that came to my mind when u read your description was Dick, look, he's a care caretaker at heart but will benefit from someone who also has the tendency to look after others.

I don't mean this in a bad way, this exchange will come out as something pure and natural. It'll be nurturing and beneficial for the two of you to find someone who gives the same care you put into others or looks after you in those days you don't feel like giving anything at all.

Another thing that might be a good thing and a bad thing is that you'll have a lot space for you in this relationship. It's not that Dick doesn't care, of course not, he wants to know you're okay and also make you feel loved.

But he also likes to have his own space to recharge. His job is consuming and so is being the emotional support of a lot of people, he doesn't regret this, but he likes to have his own space sometimes. This usually happens when he's sad tho, and he can leave for days without showing signs of being alive.

Dick is supportive so I can see him cheering you and motivating you to keep writing the stories you love, it makes him happy to see you excited about your craft. He'll read whatever thing you write and even give you a few ideas if you left him.

I have been enjoying your Nagisa stories so much! They give me all kinds of warm and fuzzies which I really needed after all of the painful angst of Ultra Despair Girls (I'm replaying it right now and sometimes I just reach my limit with how utterly heartbreaking it is. My poor little children 🥺💔). I especially liked your story about Nagisa "visiting his parents" (Sorry, I'm trying my best to be vague to avoid spoilers 😅) and vowing to one day become a better parent than they ever were to him. It would be nice to see his story come full circle like that [If he'd ever allow himself to have a quiet and happy domestic life, that is. Poor thing. I wonder sometimes if he wouldn't pursue that because he'd think that he didn't deserve it and/or because he'd be too afraid of being a terrible parent (due to lack of good example) and messing up his kid, if he ever had one. I'm crossing my fingers that this is something he could work through in his adulthood though since he would be such a good dad 💕].
